Dear Diary,

I have to go along with Mom to a lot of boring functions. Tonight she was giving a speech at a party for diplomats, which was really boring, but at least there was somewhere there my age - her name's Kaori and she's from Mt. Komorebi. Her grandfather is a diplomat. She's also really incredibly unbelievably pretty. I mean, I still have a crush on Ava, but WOW. She thought I was pretty boring I guess, but Mom pushed me to ask her to dance, and I guess her grandparents pushed too...so we danced...I totally put my hands on her waist and everything. If I could focus my crush on her, then I won't have a crush on Ava anymore, and everything can be normal again. And maybe I can ask Mom if we can go on a ski trip at Mt. Komorebi again SOON?

Corey Bachelor

Decided to give Kaori another colorful hair dye job since Yuki Behr already got the blue-do. It turns out that aqua green and bright orange suit her wonderfully! She’s very close with both of her grandparents, though definitely going through something of an NLOG phase. Apparently she’s in something of a Romeo & Juliet relationship with Kiyoshi Ito, but honestly it’s like, whatever. Either her grandparents will die or she’ll become an adult and move out, and then she can do whatever she wants.

Shigeru Nishidake

Kaori couldn't come out to visit this year, but Shigeru loved hearing from her on the phone anyways.

Shigeru & Sachiko Nishidake, what a cute elderly couple they are! (though like all elders in my game they are really just adults -dumb Maxis killing my elders ASAP) & cutie pie Kaori with her Juliet crush on Romeo aka Kiyoshi Ito!

Look who popped out of their urn to visit! This I was not expecting and neither were the ladies of the house, but we were all happy to see Shigeru again. He watched over Sachiko until she fell asleep. 

Rumor says the Nishidake family are sacred guardians of Mt. Komorebi. Indeed, Shigeru fumes over the Ito family’s local development plans. Sachiko, however, feels warmly toward Megumi due to an old friendship with the young woman’s mom. Plus, she knows what’s in her granddaughter’s heart… Kaori moved to Mt. Komorebi after losing her parents. She soon discovered two loves: the slopes, and the son of her grandfather’s sworn enemy! If she had one wish, she’d melt her grandfather’s hardened heart.
