But yeah, onto the piece itself: Dawn's primarily in this ensemble to cheer up Caelia herself. She's deliberately acting all posh and ojou-sama like to make her laugh. Dawn's more down to earth normally, but she can't deny that the huge dress feels pretty~ It was perfectly tailored for her, which is why it has a sheer front and part to it, since she doesn't normally like hiding her legs. While she's shy about her figure normally, she's actually pretty happy with her thick thighs and that's why despite dressing demure, she really likes wearing heels and stockings to emphasize her legs.

Also you may notice her bust is err...more pronounced than normal. I've been experimenting with larger sizes since I'm not usually all too good at them. Felt like as good as any place to try it out, especially with the previous piece being Dusk and Eustrii and her pumpkin sized assets~ I'm working on the second half to this piece (though admittedly a bit of a setback as the app i use updated recently and it's...not one I enjoy. Messed up my settings and I have to finagle my way back to my old ones.)

Okay so this song is a doozy of a thing, and it’s mostly ‘vibes related’ rather than entirely, but it really stirred some feelings in me that I wanna spill

Lemme just grab a couple of caps this time. I think that should be all I need

First says that Ouma ‘lies to entertain others’, and he likely references his experiences in the world generally. If we follow on from that, the second refers to how he plunged to the absolute limit of his sanity for his plans and, in no small part, it’s to entertain others- the people around him, presumably (though you can add the outside world watching as another layer to that...). Adding this to the gamification talk here, the idea is that Ouma could’ve been suffering for others’ gratification long before this killing game was a thing.

The difference to the song though, is that far from being open about his true feelings, Ouma covers and obfuscates them a great deal. That obfuscation is the ‘show’ he puts on- not so much the ‘open suffering for others to consume’, but the suffering he endures being a constant under the surface.

For an Ouma with this history, it’s basically the same, if he was made into a spectacle in his past. A ‘circus monster’, if you will: ‘you know nothing about me, but you’re entertained anyway, so that’s good, right? :D’

I couldn't go anywhere. it felt like #which was a can of worms on top of mutually aggressive BS. unfair feelings abound #thus 'Wildfire' was a song I latched on to to try and process the sheer rage felt #and of course. this spite and anger went hand-in-hand with my analyses of Ouma #without it I felt like (and kinda still do) that I can't 'Ouma' the way I want to Best #because his energy just. Pact arc.. 12? spoilers hence

The reread was a good idea; I’m picking up on all these little implications that I didn’t notice on the first go-round, such as:

When Blake is talking with the witch in the Drains, the tarot readings he got in arc 3 or whatever come up, and she mentions the symbolic connection between the left hand and “sinister”. As Blake is leaving she asks him whether he and Rose are lefties or righties, and when Blake confirms they’re both right handed she’s like Hmmm. Keep That In Mind For Later Mayhamps. Which in itself is a nice nudge that they’re more on the same level than Blake currently assumes But Then

Shortly before breaking out, Blake grabs the Hyena in his left hand. This hand has been split in two since the start of Arc 9, and he comments that the spikes on the hilt will at least help hold it together. In arc 10 he’s referencing the holes as presumably permanent.

Throughout arc 10 he does not once mention that it’s uncomfortable or awkward to wield a sword in his non dominant hand.

Bit of a sinister way to start redefining your existence, innit.
