"we died young, in some random accident. but to say that if one dies young, they die needlessly...that is to discount the years we had. the experiences we had. our hopes, dreams. i would gladly take my seventeen years over nothing."

fucked up thing is taylor's not even a bug girl, like she doesnt even LIKE them. her ass has NO interest in entomology!!! worm could have been about a weird bug nerd constantly fangirling about the new species of weevil she ate someones tongue with. but the real tragedy of worm is that she could only ever have gotten bug powers if bugs were something she disliked and found gross

Emmett once again being treated poorly by travis. Listen I have always loved travis but he's not the same as he was in s1-4. Ever since the tremmett break up in S5 he's gone downhill. Like sleeping with emmett while he is grieving his dad and not telling him he has a boyfriend...really? And by the promo for next week it looks like he just turns up at his door with said boyfriend and springs that on him. Look I liked tremmett in their prime but I hope emmett just goes back to florence and lives his best life after the funeral and everything. He deserves better.
I agree. I think it's time people stop giving Travis a pass because he's the good looking funny gay man who has a fun/loving friendship with Vic. His character has been horrendous for a while now if we're being honest especially when it comes to relationships. Even the way he has treated Vic and the lack of support he's given her? Like where was he when she was going through all this stuff with Theo? While she was being his number one supporter during the mayor stuff. He completely brushed her aside when Kate came (that still annoys me btw) and I mean I guess we can call it bad writing/out of character but how long can we do that when it's over two seasons now? The way he's treated Emmett is unacceptable, now he's a cheater and the way he's going to handle this Eli situation I'm sure isn't going to be good. I don't know...it's very disappointing because I used to like him too but anything they do with him now is just very unappealing.

You know that book moment where everything is resolved but there's 100 pages left? Or the opposite, where everything is going wrong but there's 20 pages left?
Yeah those suck don't they? Try reading The Selection trilogy and having those exact scenarios in 2 books back to back
I cannot fathom into words the stress I was under while reading The Elite and The One...

Kind of crazy how Mulder and Scully started the series with all their parents, and ended it with none. I feel like "dead parent" is such a common backstory to start with for TV show characters, but Mulder's were only estranged, and Scully's were happily married.
