The deep gnome bard Ijech in our DnD party is often seen by my dark elf Deimos as 'just a small gnome'. But often this small gnome is truly the leader and negotiator of our group the Grey Wardens.
Lately Ijech seemed to be a bit lost however. I suppose dying during the dragon fight and getting revived through magic does that to you. :( Ijech saw things when she died and has now started to question the legitimacy of the gods and she's seeking guidance elsewhere. So of course Deimos will provide~
Deimos started working on a new spell of his: Dream. I talked this plan over with the GM of our DnD campaign and he agreed to let me cast this spell on another partymember. When the night fell the GM asked everyone else to leave the table except for Ijech and Deimos.
I described that Ijech in her dreams wakes up in a luxurious mansion. Tall windows looking out over the vast dark elf city of Menzoberranzan. As Deimos approached her Ijech suddenly went: "Oh, it's the Deimos dream. Again." This took Deimos by surprise. Deimos: "Again? You dream about me more often?" Ijech: "Wait?! You're really here???!!"
The Dream went on with Deimos explaining that he needs Ijech's help. He needs to reach the famous city of magic: Ephelium.
Extra: Ijech's player later described the start of the scene so vividly saying: "It's a moment of terror when the GM turns to the drow player and just says 'Take it away'!"

A little late to the party but I finally watched episode 17 of dungeon meshi!
I'm an anime-only so I thought all the "Laios has autism" talk was just a popular headcanon, but no! They basically spelled it out this episode!
I see a lot of people absolutly demonizing Shuro because of how he reacted to Laios explaining himself, and while it is his fault for not giving it straight to Laios earlier (because come on, you said yourself that he's sincere and not picking up on subtle hints) , he's not evil either (if anything he sees himself as a hero and Laios' sincere & annoying obliviousness is throwing him off).
Shuro was raised in a different culture + he also just had a really terrible time lately and he just reached his breaking point. I mean:
He thought his crush died and it was a race against time to save her
Because of that he didn't take care of himself
It turns out Laios & crew already revived her with BLACK MAGIC but they lost her AGAIN because they angered THE LORD OF THE DUNGEON
All things considered Laios seems super chill and oblivious about the situation (as always) not like his sister's life is in danger
Aaaaaand then he finds out, because of the black magic, she fused with the dragon and might never be her real self again, ergo he'd have to kill her
Like, Laios is right, this man needs a break.
What I do find hilarious though is how Falin has all these qualities he doesn't like, but it's Falin so with her it's not enraging but ✨️enchanting✨️
She already knew about Marcille's black magic and was cool with it (in the flashback she was really interested in Marcille's ideas so she probably even encouraged it)
To the people of her class she was an outsider with weired interests just like Laios. The only difference is that he's very talkative and likes to overshare, while Falin seems more like a soft spoken, quiet type of day dreamer
She also doesn't seem to get social cues that well (she also fell for the scam + didn't seem to realize Shuro wanted more alone time with her when Laios joined them)
Apparently you can overlook quite a few things in a person when you're down bad for them.

Hey sorry if I’m being annoying but. I see posts of dungeon meshi every so often and I came across your harpy piece (which is AMAZING btw) but why does falin (I think that’s her name) turn into a harpy?? If you know please spoil me I just I have to know if it’s doomed yuri or not
haha not annoying at all! here’s my debrief of it
important thing to note is that Falin dies in episode 1, like first minute, she is dead and the entire journey is about defeating the red dragon that killed her in order to revive her before she gets fully digested. long story short, she DID get digested with only her bones and strands of hair as her remains which makes standard resurrection impossible, but marcille is then revealed to been studying ancient/black magic and is able to revive falin using monster parts aka the now defeated and dead red dragon. falin gets revived, they’re happy for a night and talking about going back to the surface with the rest of the party, yay!
Tumblr media
the dungeon lord senses a disturbance after his red dragon is killed though and shows up. in resurrecting falin, the red dragon’s soul had intermingled with hers so she ends up being overtaken by the dragon’s soul upon the dungeon lord’s appearance and strictly follows his orders from then on. next time she shows up in front of the party, she ruthlessly kills/injures half the people they were with and showed basically no falin-ness in battle except for a brief moment with laios (which i assumed was bait).
Tumblr media
that’s how falin gets turned into a chimera! there were harpies that showed up with her in the recent ep, but she herself is like. a weird dragon chicken thing.
i should also note marcille and falin are childhood friends, they’re very close to one another and marcille, despite the odds, adamantly joined laios in getting falin back. i think the importance falin has in marcille’s life has been enforced so falin becoming half monster, alive but not as herself entirely and becoming wrapped in a situation where they must defeat the Dungeon Lord in order to get her back (potentially) is kind of devastating. and in the recent episode, laios nor marcille knew how to approach falin, they just knew they didn’t want/couldn’t hurt her. this entire situation is new in their world, it’s not certain whether falin will ever return to herself. they’ll continue onward in the journey, but everything is probable! so not 100% doomed, but still, devastating.
the manga is finished so i highly recommend reading it if you’re curious about what happens. i feel like the yuri is better enjoyed if you know more about the world and of marcille’s character too, because her goals and desires makes everything she has to experience a bit more tragic. if not the manga, then definitely the anime!! watching it is very fun and i believe they’ll stop the anime at a good point. but anyway i hope this answers your question! ^_^

Shout out to Fantasy High Junior Year to get me to post original thoughts on here for the first time on years - Thought after Episode 15, The Last Stand, spoilers ahead
Based on what happened with Buddy, Brennan's callout of "what was loaded into that crossbow?", and Brennan saying in AP that killing Buddy was always on the table this is what I think Kipperlilly Clerickiller's plan was (Also ty Fandom I will be using this forever now)
1. Snuck in with Buddy when the Last Stand was being set up. (Saw some people questioning how she managed to get in, I truly think it's as simple as this)
2. Steal both Buddy and Kristen's diamonds to ensure no reviving can occur
3. I think the plan was to shoot the proctor with rage crystals, causing him to hulk out and depending on timing, no one to stop more monsters from arriving.
4. Based on where she was standing, I think the goal was to blame the crossbow bolt on Buddy and then leave still undetected with Oisin's prepped plane shift
4a. I still think Buddy dying was always part of the plan but I think the goal was to get the Bad Kids to have to ruin their own situation (Having to kill the hulked out proctor, seeing Buddy as an enemy and targeting him, being stuck because if Kristen had used her 7th level slot then they would at minimum be stuck for 8 hours assuming they all managed to survive if the monsters were still coming)
5. Theory here and we'll see if it proves correct but my immediate thought when Buddy died was that KLCK is planeshifting to the Celestial plane and hoping to use Buddy to sneak into Sol's office like when Aguefort snuck in through Kristin's backpack
6. Once in Sol's office, she would be where YES! Was originally created and the reason Bakur supposedly failed his ritual is that he needed to be in a place where a god had been created in order to rez a God.
7. Chaos ensues when corrupted Ankarna is brought back
8. Profit??? I guess??? Tbh the exact reasoning of the Ratgrinders is still the most elusive thing to me. I think my current most likely thought is that Jace is serving as manipulator and that KLCK is the most "lost in the sauce" as it were what with her pre-established anger issues.
Since we only saw a hand I'm reserving judgement on Oisin as he may have only been aware of his part of the plan and not the rest of what Miss ClericKiller has been up to. Not attached so I'm also down for him to be full evil but I'm just not sure yet.
Another thought I had is that the Ratgrinders may yet mirror the Bad Kids not just in class, but also in personal problems.
Ruben and Fig both having identity crises but Ruben has isolated himself so much he's turned to being a lackey
MaryAnn just doing what she's doing because she's good at it, not because it's something she's passionate about
If Oisin's dragon relative is evil and he's going along with the plot because of that, that would mirror Adaine breaking away from her own evil parents
Don't know enough about Ivy to have thoughts on her really, buddy and Lucy could probably be their own post tbh, and as I can't get a lock on Kipperlilly.
Jawbone seemed convinced she was just misunderstood and jawbone usually has a pretty good read on people. But then she's smiling while murdering Buddy and teleporting away. Why does she hate Riz specifically? Is it something he did or is it more generic jealousy (or a crush but I don't care for that theory personally and doesn't feel super supported currently)?
What's the deal with the rage soil and how did they place a rune of Ankarna's name on Yolanda/Lucy if it was unknown at that point?
Anyway, feel free to reblog or tag with thoughts, I'm so excited to unravel more of this mystery.

Theory: The Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae was not about making Blade immortal.
(Updated with more speculations and additional evidence.)
!!! WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS REGARDING LEAKS AHEAD !!!
The current prevailing theory is that the Sedition is about Dan Feng turning Blade immortal. However, I think the Sedition is actually about a collaboration between Dan Feng, Blade and Jingliu to revive a dead Baiheng. This plays into the theory about Bailu being Baiheng's reincarnation.
Background:
Baiheng is the 5th unnamed member of the High-Cloud Quintet. She was a Foxian pilot who used a bow as a weapon. It's speculated that Baiheng was somehow turned into a Vidyadhara and she reincarnated to become Bailu. More elaboration and evidence about the theory here.
Speculated Timeline of Events:
Baiheng dies. Dan Feng, Blade and Jingliu work together to revive her. The plan was for Dan Feng to use multiple Vidyadhara eggs to reincarnate Baiheng into a Vidyadhara and grant her immortality. However, something goes wrong during the process, and Baiheng instead turns into a Foxian-Vidyadhara chimaera. The chimaera goes on a rampage, forcing Jingliu to "kill" it. However, instead of dying, the chimaera turns into a Vidyadhara egg, allowing Baiheng to be reincarnated into Bailu.
Evidence of an Attempt to Revive Baiheng:
(Leaked) Dan Heng IL's Character Story Part III: The story describes Dan Feng and Blade working together to "bury [Dan Feng’s] old friend, or to grant them new life grant" and that “[these] two actions were one and the same”. This suggests that Blade and Dan Feng were working to revive someone, but the person would still “die” in the process somehow. I believe this is describing efforts to reincarnate a dead Baiheng into a Vidyadhara, as Baiheng’s reincarnation would technically be a completely new person and Baiheng would “die”. However, during the process, an unnamed girl crashes a starskiff into Dan Feng and unleashes some kind of weapon on him. The interference of this starskiff girl might have caused the reincarnation process to go wrong. (Side Note: I've seen speculation that the starskiff girl is Baiheng. I think this is unlikely because the Dan Heng IL character stories use pretty consistent aliases for the High-Cloud Quintet members. Dan Feng is the “dragon”, Jingliu is the "swordswoman", Baiheng is the "pilot", Jing Yuan is the "Cloud Knight Lieutenant" and Blade is the "craftsman".)
Passerby's Roaming Dragon Bracer Relic: The relic's story describes Dan Heng and Blade turning someone into a "monstrosity". I think this could be referring to a Baiheng getting turned into a Foxian-Vidyadhara chimaera. (Side Note: There's a popular theory that this story is describing Dan Feng turning Blade immortal, with "monstrosity" being a reference to Blade's immortality. I think this is unlikely because the story refers to Blade as the "unnamed" and Dan Feng as "that owner", but it refers to the monstrosity victim as the "beloved". This suggests that the monstrosity victim is a third person separate from Blade and Dan Feng.)
Evidence of the Use of Vidyadhara Eggs:
(Leaked) Dan Heng IL's Character Story Part III: The revival specifically happens in Scalegorge Waterscape, which means that the process likely either uses Vidyadhara eggs or the Ambrosial Arbor. Since Dan Feng has to shift into his dragon form and use his dragon powers for the revival, it's more likely that the revival process uses the eggs rather than the Arbor.
Todd Riordan's Academic Research Mission Parts 1 & 2: In the mission, Todd's teacher leaves behind a bunch of clues, one of which is an image of the High-Cloud Quintet. From these clues, Todd deduces that Vidyadhara eggs can be used to achieve immortality. He then uses some Vidyadhara egg white to de-age himself. Blade appears towards the end of the mission and it is implied that he knows what Todd has done. Overall, the mission suggests that there is some relationship between the High-Cloud Quintet and the secret of obtaining immorality from Vidyadhara eggs.
Verdict: The Great Rebellion of Imbibitor Lunae: The verdict states that Dan Feng is guilty of "breaking the ban" (presumably a ban on granting immortality) and "thieving immortality". This suggests that Dan Feng gave someone immortality by stealing it from existing immortals (e.g. Vidyadharas currently in egg form).
A Page From the Alchemy Commission's Official Gazette: In the comment section of the Gazette, a commenter mentions that Dan Feng prevented several Vidyadhara from reincarnating. Since the Vidyadhara are able to reincarnate even after suffering serious injuries, Dan Feng must have done something drastic to these Vidyadhara to prevent them from reincarnating (e.g using their eggs to transform Baiheng).
Evidence of Blade's & Jingliu's Involvement:
Verdict: The Great Rebellion of Imbibitor Lunae: The verdict describes Dan Feng as "the mastermind behind the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae", implying that there are multiple parties involved in the Sedition.
(Leaked) Dan Heng IL's Character Story Part III & Passerby's Roaming Dragon Bracer Relic: As discussed above, both stories describe Blade working together with Dan Feng to possibly revive someone.
Blade's iconic line: "Of five people, three must pay a price." It's widely agreed that the three people here refer to Dan Feng, Jingliu and Blade himself. The line implies that all three of them participated together in the same unforgivable act/incident.
Yanqing's Character Story Part III: The story mentions that Jingliu "violated the laws of heaven and resulting in her name being wiped from the face of the galaxy". This tells us that she commits a heinous act at some point.
Yanqing's Companion Mission: Frosty Blade's Trial In the mission, Yanqing states that "Ever since the Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae, the title of Sword Champion has gone unclaimed." This implies that whatever Jingliu did was related to the Sedition.
Further Speculations Relating to the Sedition:
Baiheng died as a sacrificial pawn to protect the Xianzhou. In Blade's trailer, he says "They declare me guilty yet their sin is greater. They've fallen too far for their lofty Xianzhou ships." The line suggests that Blade holds a grudge against the Xianzhou Alliance for some past action they've committed. Similarly, Jingliu also seems to hold a grudge against an unknown group of people. In Blade's character story part I, she says "Remember the feeling of death, and bring it to them." as she trains Blade. The line suggests that Jingliu was trying to turn Blade into a weapon against the group.
Baiheng held a high position in the Xianzhou . In the comment section of the Alchemy Commision's Gazette, a commenter states that "many [Vidyadhara] were never able to undergo hatching rebirth again because of [Dan Feng's] one decision". If Dan Feng had really sacrificed multiple Vidyadhara eggs to reincarnate Baiheng, it would be strange for the commenter to describe such a seemingly heinous and selfish act as just a mere "decision". However, if Baiheng had held a high position in the Xianzhou, sacrificing the lives of multiple Vidyadhara to revive her might seem to be a justifiable "decision" to some.
Jingliu succumbs to Mara immediately after "killing" the Baiheng chimaera. In a Vidyadhara egg story, Jingliu kills a furry draconic abomination (speculated to be the Baiheng chimaera). She then apologises and unleashes ice waves, freezing everyone in the vicinity (and potentially killing them). This lines up with Jingliu's mara-stricken rampage shown in the animated short "A Flash", where she freezes many people.
Dan Feng unintentionally caused some Vidyadhara to rebel against the Xianzhou. In the verdict against Dan Feng, one of his listed crimes was "inciting riot". A Vidyadhara egg story describes the memories of one of the rioters. It seems that the rioters had acted in a desire to protect Dan Feng from punishment, rather than a direct order from Dan Feng himself.

I don’t really talk about Genshin on this blog, but there’s just something magical (and by that I mean obnoxious) about seeing posts about how the archons are secretly evil and did all these bad things and that Genshin just treats it like it’s nothing. And then you read the lore and it’s literally
-Wind spirit just wanted to comfort a human and was forced into power so giant wolf didn’t murder humans
-local dragon/qilin’s best friend and partner was murdered and his people were being slaughtered so he fought to protect everyone including other gods
-electric sisters fought some gods, one gave up her body and then got revived (there’s not really much on them and the bits about Oroboshi are conflicting, I’ll fully admit. Maybe Ei did just have fun slaughtering, but I don’t think Makoto would have let her do that but maybe I missed a piece of lore. There’s a lot)
-literally didn’t even participate in the war just sat down w her three friends and one died and she still didn’t fight the other guy, just chilled out??? Even when he was being a bitch?? And helped him??
-Took over after a random king absolutely fucked up everything just started a country to clean up the mess the other guy made?
And literally none of it is hidden??? Beyond just how time and history works which is acknowledged in like 20 separate quests?? (Well okay, Istaroth is hidden but that’s less because he’s hiding it and more of because the whole Nobles destroying history thing, and no one really cares about Barbatos’ history)
No one says it was a good thing?? No one says it was okay that Celestia forced them into it? They actively avoid Celestia and communicating with them? Venti is even shown to look terrified when they’re brought up.
The only reason some history is ‘hidden’ is because it’s so old literally only the old as balls Rex Lapis remembers it all and he wasn’t everywhere and he’s not writing history books but he is still telling people.
Like, I think it’s kind of telling that at every turn all of the gods have done nothing but sought out peace and protection for who they loved and they’re not hiding anything or avoiding the truth. Hell two of the new archons weren’t even involved in the Archon war and didn’t have a choice in the matter.
Did they kill people? Some of them yeah! But one of the fandom’s favorites is literally a serial killer who attempted genocide because his ice god told him to go have fun, unlike Yknow the others who were in the middle of a war that was either pick a leader you’ll work with, kill everyone else so you can have power, or the literal heavens will send civilization destroying nails to slaughter every person you love.
Not to mention for every person who brings up the cataclysm I want to scream because so far NONE OF THE ARCHONS HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT!! Do you really think the archons who gave fucking everything for humans would just go willingly? Do you think they care if they’re worshipped? Do you think Venti who adores his children who think he’s dead cares if he’s worshipped? Do you think Zhongli who speaks so lovingly of how people from all over come to stay a while in his home would judge a Khaenri’ah’n for not bowing to him??
They wanted nothing to do with Celestia, they did what they had to do to protect their people and so far only two of them were actually killing people! Genshin isn’t coming out of nowhere with these more humanizing aspects, y’all just don’t pay attention and you want something that doesn’t exist.
How is that not more compelling than the idea that they’re all bloodthirsty killers who did all kinds of violence for the sake of violence and happened to be given magic powers?

My Vimes playlist! I have many thoughts and feelings about him... this was the first Discworld playlist I put together and I started it after reading that dinner party scene in Men at Arms, which is why Your Racist Friend is the first song. some of these songs are ones Vimes himself would hate deeply but the energy or lyrics persuaded me to put them in. If you're interested in the reasoning behind the song choices, I'm putting that under the cut.
Thee Vimes song , just Him:
Get Better by Frank Turner
Being a watchman and The City, always The City:
I Predict a Riot by the Kaiser Cheifs
The Ankh Morpork Night Watch by Louie Zong
London Calling by The Clash
Shes Always a Woman by Billy Joel
All Along The Watch Tower by Jimi Hendrix (a conversation, Vimes gets the cover by Jimi hendrix which is rawer and darker than the original, Vetinari gets the BSG cover)
We Live In a Dump by They Might Be Giants
Sam and Sybil feelings (from vimes's pov mostly):
Synopsis for Latecomers by They Might Be Giants
The night Chicago Died by Paper Lace
Hey Julie by Fountains of Wayne
Work Song by Hozier
A Hard Days Night by The Beatles

Cable Street by The Young'uns
Cap In Hand by the Proclaimers
Nina Cried Power by Hozier
Fortunate Son by Credence Clearwater Revival

There are children who grew up on atla, still praising it's writing, animation, and emotional storylines.
And then there's children who grew up like me, with this shitshow. And you know what? Screw it-
I loved it.
This is me ranting about this horribly flawed show that's a relic of my childhood.
Tumblr media
It was either incredibly predictable, or batshit crazy, was riddled with plotholes, and was about a bunch of twelve year olds playing matchmaker for badly animated chinese legends that looked more like burnt out balcanic couples.
The plot happens in episode 1-5 and then 25-26. Inbetween that, it's just tomfoolery. 19 episodes of literal nothing. The people who get close to ending them are literally never the main badguys. They fix up marriages, families, (it's kinda sweet in that sense i guess...) fight the baddies (one of whom they literally HAVE to befriend- but thats just another one of the ✨plotholes✨) and run after the dragons eye, which (guided by their fortune cookie of a master) leads them in a gigantic circle back to where they came from.
The plotholes are so ridiculous that my brain started to come up with explanations that I literally just made up in my head. I remembered there being an episode with an umbrella, and I was sure that it was either used by Flamo, since y'know fire... But no, the fire element is doing just fine in the rain (despite the water element not doing well in the desert but who cares amiright) Or maybe Jinhou since water corrodes metal. But no.The umbrella was Raindrops. The water element. I can't make this up I swear.
Then there is the biggest thing that stems from the premise of the story: They need the five elements to reunite, and become the golden dragon. So why doesn't General Bu just get rid of one or two of them? He captures them regularly, and he has one stapled to his hip at all times... Why does he insist on capturing all of them? (So the show may go on i guess) In my mind, I decided that if one dies or something, the rest can revive them, but that is never even implied in the show, I'm just trying to stop my brain from imploding...
The characters are... Not smart. The only characters arguably smart are Master Yun (debatable) and Shao Yen who is in the wrong show (and sometimes Niwa I guess). I mean, it explains a lot when you know these characters are all 12, and the backstories loosely fit their personalities (by sheer accident I'm sure). Niwa was a servant, and has the strongest powers so she's reserved and nut much of a leader, but still confident, Jinhou was raised and praised by monks who knew of his importance, so hes full of himself and a bit sheltered, Randrop is an objectively worse fighter and student than Shao Yen, so he has doubts, and she in turn has this responsible big sister attitude despite not leading. Flamo acts pretty accurate for a 12 year old with fire powers and a megalomaniac for a role model. ...Why is it that only he and Raindrop gets dumb ass names, while the others get... Like, normal ones?
Last point: This show brings up some interesting ideas (by accident I'm sure) and blatantly ignores them, going out of it's way to avoid anything even remotely surface deep. General Bu, evil mastermind (with gadgets I'm sure they made up while high on drugs) is the past student of Master Yun, teacher and father figure of two of the main characters. That never even matters. It gets mentioned in episode 1 and never again. Why is he even evil? Idk, who cares. Dragon taido. What even is it? How is it different from Tiger taido, and what even is that? Is it made up by General Bu, or are there other martial arts forms? When our characters scream dragon taido, they just start using their elemental powers, and there is no difference between how Raindrop fights and how Flamo fights despite them being dragon and tiger taido novices respectively. Hell, I'm pretty sure Flamo never even says Tiger taido in the whole series, only Bu does. Grub is apparently an experiment gone wrong, but I'm not even sure if I made that up, or was a detail of the show. Thats how important it is. There's this thing where they try to juxtapose Shao Yen and Raindrops semi-healthy sibling relationship (and to a lesser extent with the other two elements), to Grub and Flamos toxic one, but that never goes any further than Grub calling for him when locked in a cupboard, and Flamo being kinda sad for a moment when he "dies".
Also: The whole Avatar ripoff thing? I don't really see it? Yes, obviously thats what inspired it, and honestly, the intro is probably the big thing people point to when saying its a fipoff and you know what, thats fair. But story wise, I don't really see it: Face it people. Master Raindrop is way to off the rails to even try to liken it to Avatar. Outside of five man band, elemental powers, and fiery -eventually redeemed -bad guy, i don't really see it (and none of that was invented by avatar, might I add). Maybe that one talk with Master Yun in episode 5, but wise, cryptic guy is also not an Avatar thing. I even saw some people say Grub is supposedly Uncle Irohs stand in..? Flamo and Grub remind me more of the wet bandits from home alone than Uncle Iroh and Zuko, but suit yourself I guess :"D
Now after saying I love this show, shitting on it for 3 and a half pages, I have only one thing to say.
Its still better than the movie.

So I have a theory of what happened to high cloud quintet. So here's my idea
So Baiheng is a traveller or nameless, Jingliu the general, Yingxing the craftsman or blacksmith, Dan Feng the High elder, and JingYuan the next in line general, perhaps maybe he is a lieutenant or captain like Yanqing.
So this is start of what happened..
Let's just say they got war with the abundance again (like again)
It's the same ol thing, however this where it shifted when something happened to Baiheng
So assuming Baiheng is the weakest of the five (like maybe a harmony/abundance type character) so as usual she returned from her trip and tried to help in the sidelines.
This is what it started, something happened or the camp where Baiheng was residing got attacked, neither strong in combat and defense, she was unlucky
So let's assumed that Jingliu tried to catch up as reinforcement but was too late.
(So I have several scenarios before this happened, I was thinking what lead them to that is, one of the "sinful" three was guilty,
One, Jingliu/Dan Feng told Baiheng to go that camp is because it's safer, only to lead her to death
Two, this is connected to Jingliu's wrath to Blade, Yingxing had perhaps did something that lead Baiheng to go there or be there, either by request related to his craft or said something)
So out of desperation, Jingliu ask help to Dan Feng
So you know by now what's next, so for whatever maybe the reason why Yingxing was with them, either by what i said guilt, or perhaps curiosity, or worried.
However, everything went wrong, Baiheng, I assumed turned to monster dragon thing, Yingxing died in the fight, Jingliu got MaraStruck, so maybe of confusion, Dan Feng attempted more sin and revived Yingxing.
And the poor guy JingYuan came only to clean his friends mess
There's another scenario came up as well
So let's say this ritual were only known to Jingliu and Dan Feng, so when Yingxing tried to stop, in the fiasco the ritual got messed up. And during that time Dan Feng accident killed Yingxing. Out of guilt and grief, he tried to revive him
And the rest is history.....

Just had an idea
Ragnarok isn’t just to decide Humanity’s fate
It is to create a new pantheon, the Human Pantheon
Each of the Thirteen fighters dead or alive are made into gods (it’s a whole Magical Girl transformation sequence) even those who may not have fought (the fighter that Buddha took the place of on the roster)
So Lu Bu would look like that Dragon Human hybrid in his spinoff while Adam still looks human it depends on them
But that’s not all, it also selects those considered close to the fighters to transform into minor gods (including all of Lu Bu’s army and Red Hare so they are brought back) so like Eve, Cain, and Abel are all made gods and all the sword master who Sasaki learned from become gods
For Jack Ann is the only one who becomes a God (you’ve seen the leaks for the new chapter)
The gods who died are brought back of course
But it’s not done by the hands of the other gods, the Spirit of Ragnarok simply wills it be (They have drinks with Heimdall)
-As Ragnarok ended, a human standing above the last god as the winner, everyone was surprised when nothing happened to the god, not fading away.
-The Spirit of Ragnarok, the spirit of the determination from both sides to win fueled an unknown power, creating a new pantheon in the very arena.
-Power swirled around everyone in attendance, including the last opponents, the energy healing their wounds, reviving them to how they were before the fight.
-Goll’s eyes went wide, “LOOK!” she pointed towards the sky and everyone’s gaze turned upward as balls of light were forming, swirling down into the arena, each ball of light morphing into the shape of a person.
-Jaws dropped as Lu Bu appeared first, back alive, now looking more like a dragon, more demonic as he gawked, stunned himself as he looked around, his eyes meeting Thor’s, the two sharing a smile.
-Adam was the next to form, he had no chance to look around before he was run down by his wife and sons, plowing him to the ground as they all were sobbing that he was back.
-Zeus hugged Poseidon as his brother returned to life, looking around in confusion, wondering what had happened before he embraced his brother tightly, shocking everyone.
-Hercules was tackled, but not knocked down by both Goll and Jack, surprising him as the two hugged him tightly, seeing him back alive.
-Raiden was in shock, looking around before Shiva ran at him and Raiden laughed loudly, catching the deity in a huge hug before Thrud appeared as well, the valkyries all returning as well, hugging Raiden who kissed her passionately.
-Shiva had a hand over his mouth in shock, one of his other hands covering Goll’s eyes.
-Buddha nearly tripped as he ran for Zerofuku who looked around, wondering what had happened but was stunned by the sudden embrace, before he grinned, hugging Buddha tightly as he burst into tears.
-Zeus and Poseidon both ran for Hades as he returned, being plowed down by his younger brothers and by Qin who joined in their hug, the king of the underworld laughing warmly as he greeted them all.
-Nikola’s brother and friends were the first to get to Nikola, many yelling at him while others were crying, hugging him tightly. Once he was free, he was stunned to see Beelzebub waiting there for him, offering Nikola a handshake, which he took before pulling the shorter god into a warm embrace, making his cheeks turn a bit red from the affection.
-The last ball of light to take shape was Brunnhilde, losing her life alongside her own human partner and her eyes widened, looking around to see everyone before her sisters all screamed out her name, rushing to her, Goll making it there first as the eldest valkyrie was knocked to the ground.
-Goll sobbed loudly into her arms, clutching tightly at her and Brunnhilde did not hide her own tears, letting them fall as she hugged her youngest tightly, apologizing to all of her sisters as they were all crying, happy to be reunited once again.
-Reunions filled the arena as more power swirled, Chen Gong, Red Hair, and Lu Bu’s army were all returned to life as well, looking a bit more like dragon hybrids themselves.
-Zeus gawked in surprise as he realized that a new pantheon was being created, with the human fighters and those close to them were becoming gods themselves!!
-Eve was a bit worried as the swirling lights surrounded her and her children, but she looked unchanged one it faded.
-Kojiro’s best friend and rival, his teacher, Miyamoto Musashi, was the next to become a god as the two swordsmen shared an embrace, sparkling lights surrounding him, “Hey what the hell is going on?!” The lights faded, leaving him looking normal but the gods around could tell he was now much stronger.
-Jack felt someone pat his head warmly and he turned, his eyes widening as he saw Anne there, grinning brightly at him, her hands on her hips as she was now a god as well, being the closest person to Jack besides Hercules and Hlokk. Jack indulged in one moment of childishness, immediately hugging her tightly which made her laugh as he hugged her close, tears welling in his eyes.
-Raiden’s rikishi friends all became demi-gods as he was close to each and every one of them, making Raiden grin warmly as Thrud hugged him tightly, celebrating alongside him.
-Buddha was shocked when Zerofuku started to glow, as he was already a god, but he instantly relaxed, smiling as The Seven Lucky Gods all appeared alongside Zerofuku, being granted their own bodies, much to everyone’s shock.
-More humans became gods and demigods, those close to the fighters of Ragnarok as the gods themselves were in awe, seeing this, seeing the power of the humans, their determination, made them gods themselves.
-They would never underestimate humans again.

some eddie and wayne hc for those in need
When he was really young Eddie made potions in a tin outside using leaves and rainwater and whatever he could get his hands on. Rocks? Throw them in, coffee granules? In the potion! Pepto bismol Wayne left lying out one morning? Stick it in there! Ediie tried to take little bottles of it everywhere, convinced it would offer him 'protection'. Wayne caught him trying to drink it once. He kept a closer eye on the kid since then
Before moving to Hawkins Eddie and Wayne used to live with Eddie's Nana. They both absolutely adored that woman. She and Wayne instilled that 'Munsons have manners Eddie!' so even now Eddie remembers his 'please and thank yous', his 'sir and ma’ams' even when painfully sarcastic and in the face of authority
Both Eddie's grandmothers were called nana Eddie started calling his favourite nene which eventually morphed into 'nees'. She laughed when he called her 'nee' for the first time 'what?! knee? i don't even get 2? At my age I need all the knees I can get!'
When they all lived together eddie used to put on ‘shows’ of whatever he was obsessed with at the moment. This quickly turned into a full dramatic retelling of LOTR that required extensive audience participation. He’d make it as ‘immersive’ as possible chasing Wayne and Nees around the garden to show them how terrifying the orcs really were
Nees, Wayne and Eddie all play guitar. Nees taught Wayne but they both taught Eddie. They all used to play together, each with their own acoustic, before Nees arthritis got too painful. Wayne still plays from time to time, when he's missing her and Eddie will listen through the walls.
They moved when Nees died. Couldn’t face being in the same place without her, her house was an extension of her and being there without her swears worthy of a sailor or her perfume and tabacco smell was too painful.
Wayne and Nees introduced Eddie to music. She might have been older but loved hearing whatever new record Wayne brought home. So now when Eddie hears Creedance clearwater revival, the animals, the supremes, crosby stills nahs and young or the mamas and papas he has to take a seat and let the emotions run wild. On her brithday Eddie and Wayne play her favourites and drink some gin in her memory.
Wayne doesn't know how he'd be alive without Eddie. That boy saved him, gave him a focus during the hardest parts of his life. They clung to each other when it hurt too much for words and he just hopes he can do right by him and give him the love he deserves.
They don't have a lot of money but he likes to get things for Eddie where he can, maybe its a nice lighter so Eddie doesn't have to rely on matches, maybe a new diary when he notices Eddie coming to the end of his current one. They aren't big gestures but they say 'i'm looking out for you kid'
Eddie day dreams a lot, nobody ever really asks what he's thinking about. Asuming it'll be dragons and guitars and epic high fantasy stories. Adn yes, some of the times they are right but sometimes Eddie just sits and remembers his time with his Uncle and his Nees and it helps to level his emotions, reminds himself of Wayne and what they've been through and lets his mind finally relax

Hello there!! What OC are you currently working on, and how do they fit into the world they belong in? 👀👀
hys name is Lorelai Lorainne Balor and he is yet another minecraft oc !!!!! tiny dragon lady :3 i posted about hymn on discord lemme go copy paste the stuff hold on
Name: Lorelai Lorraine Balor (u can call hymn any part of hys name and he'll answer, also answers to "raya")
Age: 21
Pronouns/Gender: is a fluid! he/(hymn)/she/it (prefers he/hymn + femme terms)
Sexuality: biromantic lesbian but also aroace idk 👍 - she's down for whatever !
Background: he's an enderdragon who died, then its soul got turned into an allay, then the allay asked to be revived back into a dragon, it wasn't done "correctly" (aka wasn't done in the end with crystals and such) so he was revived into a half-dragon half-allay guy who can traverse between the living plain and the dead one, (pretty cool), and now he's just kinda here!
current ideas floating around for tiny dragon lady:
- he’s a dragon/allay hybrid. maybe this world’s ender dragon, maybe another world’s ender dragon. who knows! he’s here now doin hys thing. chillin
- its right eye is lavender and its left eye is completely white. when using its Allay Powers the eye will glow blue (deep deep sigh. like sans undertale /silly)
- The Allay Powers include:
- Flight (she summons ethereal blue wings that are allay shaped. he does not naturally have wings)
- Seeing and Talking to Spirits
- Glowing (hyr hair turns white and some of hyr scales glow! the scales will glow blue instead of white)
appearance wise. i will draw hymn at some point surely. black scales with some white scales. has a big flower tattoo on hys right side- along the shoulder and back and on the chest and down the arm and up the neck, it’s huge and white and green and pretty cool lookin B)

12 YEAR OLD OCS; SIDE B
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Flamepaw [Silvia Flowers] (he/him)
Flamepaw is a warrior cats OC, a Thunderclan cat who got abused by his mentor and died to a badger. As a Starclan cat he was revived (by Starclan) to protect this new apprentice who was going to be abused by the same mentor, her name was Bramblepaw (who I actually made earlier, but she has an okay-ish story in another time its sorta mundane). They fell in love and after some moons when theyre made warriors, they have a kit named Faithkit, which, for some reason, Starclan didn't like, because Starclan *loves* making arbitrary rules about romance, and he's banished, but not before his (dead) mom gives him and his family these crystals that let them turn into my "original species" called Drattus (theyre just dragon cats. theyre cats with dragon wings.)
And that is the end of this goobers story, he goes on to leave the clans and find a Drattus colony somewhere idk, he was my sona for awhile! He's goofy but I love him, and I hold him very near and dear to my heart. I have faith he can murder all the mary/gary sues in his path with his dragon cat abilities >:)
Description
A picture of Flamepaw, an orange cat with a lighter muzzle and paws. He has a white tailtip, amber eyes, and dark gold ears. He has a string with a purple crystal around his neck.
Lasha Felomi [Luna Wolf] (she/her)
She was just a normal girl but then her parents got murdered. Shen then gets adopted by the god of darkness and got turned into an immortal demigod with dark powers. She has a sword made out of her own frozen blood (never drew that though). She was forced to kill her best friend to take out the villain, but years later she finds out the villain actually survived. She tries to finish the job but gets killed herself instead. That's how her story originally would have gone. Also, Kirby and Hulk and Bubbles were there.
Growing up unable to stop all the tragedy around her, she has developed a deep need to be in power at all times and insists on being capable to do anything on her own and refuses to receive help or cooperate with others. She needs to be the most powerful person in the room but she is maybe upper B tier in the grand scheme of things.
I'm using her original name here, I wonder if anyone can spot where I got it from. It's pretty stupid and has nothing to do with her character.
Description
Her first design was a rollercoaster tycoon guest looking girl with an emo haircut, wearing an ugly yellow sweater, a red scarf and blue jeans. Also a picture of her hugging Kirby and one where she beats up a bad guy cat (epic) [Mod Note; Couldn't fit in the one where she beats up a bad guy cat :(]

Hi Rist~
So this is a bit morbid… And it’s not exactly related to your fics, but Imma ask anyway because you are the All Knowing Winx god.
What do you think would happen to the Dragon Flame if Bloom died? Like, before Domino was revived and while she is the only remaining survivor.
I’ve been curious about this for a little while now and I honestly don’t know who else or where else to ask this.
Also hope you’re doing well and life isn’t bullying you! Lots of love from your #1 Fan 💙
GIRL. GIRL YOU HAVE NO IDEA IVE PLANNED AN EXACT FIC ABOUT THIS IM PLANNING TO WRITE AFTER TBHTBH but I’m nothing if not a slut for validation so ahhahahaha have an excerpt without context right now
“You could always wait for the next guardian. Manipulate them instead. You're like, what, a hundred years old? Can’t be too hard to wait until I have children.”
In the corner of her eyes, she can see something hard pass over his face, something like a snarl. It’s gone when she turns around, replaced by his carefully composed half-smile. [visible at all/ re: ch3]
“I'm flattered you think me so young, and a little appalled at your lack of education. If Faragonda taught you anything about your realms history, you'd know I’m past half a millennium now.”
His smile turns into a smirk.
“Besides. Your mind is a rather dull place, compared to the splendor of the dimension I spent those centuries in.”
She rolls her eyes, but returns to her task without dignifying him with a reply. If the past [time] has taught her anything, then that Valtor is incapable of remaining silent for long.
“You are awfully optimistic, little fairy.”
“Occupational hazard.”
He's waiting for her to ask him, she knows. He loves to see her seek him out, to ask him questions and beg for his wisdom. It's not like he has many alternatives for conversation, so she decides to humor him.
“What exactly makes you say that?”
“Your confidence that any of your potential offspring would inherit your powers.”
[clipped. Edit here]
She frowns, her hands faltering.
“What do you mean? The Flame is heritable, isn’t it?”
“The Flame,” he says, “is the birthright of the ruler of Domino. It has been passed down in your family, so it always was the royal line. But it has skipped generations before, sometimes disappeared for centuries at a time. And that was before the fall.
“Without Domino, what purpose does it serve?”
Something cold, heavy seems to settle in her chest.
“You think I could be the last.”
“I am not willing to risk it. If the Flame disappears, I will perish as well, won’t I?”

A Fond Farewell to Act 1
Tumblr media
After dithering about a fashion faux pas most unfortunate, and with nothing else to do on all of the maps, it is finally time for me to bid a fond farewell to Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3, and via the Mountain Pass head into the uncertain transition stage to Act 2 (and presumably the consequences of my actions).
But before I go. A moment. To reflect on my favorite memories in this journey so far:
Alfira’s song and The Harpy Rock Concert
Aravyn chickening out of lying to an evil mirror, Astarion shoving her aside to show her how its done, only to fail so spectacularly on every single conversation check the mirror spits out a giant orb of molten death that starts chasing us around the room spewing deadly AOEs as I loudly scream “OH NO OH NO OH NO OH NO WHY CANT WE TARGET IT OH NO” and the entire party flees for their life, nearly locking Astarion in the cellar with the death orb he summoned
The Glitterbomb/Musical Mini-Heist
Best Quasit Girl
Ari seeing giant claw marks a dragon very obviously gouged into stone, failing her intelligence check, and then proudly declaring it the artistic statement of some mysterious person
Gale nearly dying from a concussion because I decided to put off taking a long rest and instead do a little lute concert tour around the Druid Grove, and one NPC loved it so much he enthusiastically hurled his tip of a single gold piece in the direction of my singing paladin — and straight into Gale’s skull and taking off 6 of his precious few remaining HP
Discovering the mighty cow summon spells
Operation War Drum
My dumbass Paladin talking to Minthara, and winning every single persuasion check, so that she entered into a conversation to very earnestly insist that this random forest is where the secret Druid Grove is, and have Minthara scream in frustration that they already checked there and to go FIND IT, only for us to return five seconds later and say that we totes got the real location this time and point to the same spot on the map. About five time in a row.
Halsin getting the whole party stuck in eternal combat for no other reason than he was a bear, and apparently the game took that personally
That time Astarion gleefully informed Aravyn she was unfuckable, only for a full 24 hours later to decide that he was actually jealous that she considered Gale prettier than him (but also approved of this??), and basically yelled out “CHALLENGE ACCEPTED” before flouncing off
The entirety of the Auntie Ethel adventure freaking me (the player) out so much I, the notorious loot goblin, refused to touch ANY food or beverage in the entire cursed swamp even after finishing all of the quests and clearing the area
Nearly blowing up a dwarf trapped in a field of flammable mushrooms, and somehow both he and the valuable quest item miraculously survived. Only for my dumbass Paladin to eat the quest item mid-battle for no reason at all, and me not realizing until twenty hours of gameplay in that I’ve doomed the dwarf and his unpleasant wife to a life of destitution and also preventing one of my companions from regaining precious lost memories.
Getting a TPK several times in a row from the giant landshark in the Underdark, before finally beating it with actual tactical smarts. Only to revive it with a temporary NPC ally as a spawn so it could help us in fights because we are smart and tactical now. And then forgetting to dismiss it after the temporary NPC ally turned against us, only to return to the same area several hours later where we once again nearly died to the now undead manifestation of our hubris
Smiling and waving at whoever is on the end of those scrying eyes like we’re in some sort of beauty pageant
100 Foot Sharran Walkway of Doom
Rolling a nat 1 on a wisdom save after picking up a cursed locket
Robo-Hugs
I will never forget you Act 1. We laughed. We cried. Made many poor life decisions that I’m sure are going to come back and bite me in the ass very soon. But for now, we must march onwards into the unknown, where I’m sure Ari and the Tadfools will probably almost blow up the multiverse or something, at the rate they’re going.
