The situation is over, and as stressful as it was, I'm very proud of small parts for getting through this situation, even if they were terrified.
We had to go through surgery to have our wisdom teeth removed. Small parts were upset because we wouldn't be conscious during the procedure and, in their words, "don't want things in [their] mouth."
Myself and a few other parts tried reassuring the younger ones that things would be okay, that we wouldn't let anything bad happen. That it would be like a bad amnesia switch (It was not like that lol.) The smaller parts insisted we couldn't promise that because we wouldn't be conscious and no one would be in control of the body so we couldn't ensure safety.
As stressful as it was, this shows me a few things.
-the younger ones trust us enough to know that if one of us are fronting, we're safe (or safe enough)
-control is.... A very big issue for our entire system
-even if the younger parts were scared, they made it through and they ended up safe. I don't hear them anymore and don't know how to reach them, but I have the vague feeling that this situation helped reassure the smaller parts that we won't be hurt anymore
A lot of their concerns confuse me, and I respect their fears and worries. I'm very proud of the system for working through this, even if it was a bit sloppy, honestly. We did our best, we survived, and consoled the younger ones as best as we could.
All is well, and I'm proud and as relaxed as I can be, haha.

thinking about the recent events & polls and the thing is. yeah dean SHOULD HAVE been kissing men the whole time. on my tv screen even. however in post-confession times if a reboot were to happen he would realistically only be kissing cas because i don't think he'd be interested in ANYONE but cas after that. as much as i'd have loved to see him be a boykisser i think the only person in general he could ever bring himself to kiss these days is cas and well. i'm also very much okay with that.
