Teaser: “Magnus, talk to me…” he yells again in desperation, “Magnus!”

The warlock jerks back as if slapped. He finally lifts his head a little with effort, and squints at Alec’s direction before his eyes go wide in alarm.

“Alexander!” His lips move, letting out a soft, barely audible sound. As focused as he is on the warlock with his entire being, Alec hears it as clearly as a church bell ringing inside his mind. He crawls towards the warlock to get as close as he can, and stops when his knee is almost brushing against the flaming lines of the circle around the intricate sigil.

“Magnus, why?” His words are quiet this time, and Alec knows Magnus can hear him anyway, judging by the way his expression crumples. “Why would you do this?”

“Why are you here?” The stubborn man decides to answer the questions with his own, “How are you here?”

“I’m here because you’re here,” Alec spits angrily, his fear for the warlock waging war with the fury at the unfairness of all of it. His entire body is shaking with emotion, ready to fall apart and his soul is on the brink of shattering along with the one whom he had given it all to without reservation. 

Or perhaps, it might be the ghost of Edom gleefully feeding on the pain of his heartbreak and misery. 

“You thought you'd go down in flames all by yourself? That’s not going to happen this time. Remember I promised you, Magnus? Never again!”

“And I made a promise to protect you above all else!” Magnus roars at him in response, wasting the precious little life he has left.

no actually i’m gonna be vulnerable on main because i’m really emotional about the varient cover that only came out last week. when i was a teenager there literally wasn’t really visible ace characters in media which is when you need representation the most because without it you start to feel fucked up and broken and like there’s something wrong with you (in some cases, not all of course) and i still remember crying over todd from bojack horseman coming out even though i didn’t watch the show because i had literally never seen someone come be asexual in media ever. let alone on a popular tv show that people really love and in such a big scene. it was usually so hush hush or vague like when raphael from goddamn shadownhunters had his little not interested in sex arc and like that was all we got. god i remember just biting and clawing and grasping at straws trying to find someone like me. and then we had a couple more. there’s jughead in his own run of comics. we had that one character in that one episode of sex education. it started to filter into ya books and comics. there’s loveless and heartstopper. there’s some video games with side characters. and slowly slowly we’re getting more visible and it usually still sucks because people are so awful so frequently but now there’s a whole ass superhero with the fucking asexual flag right on the goddamn cover like oh my god that’s Visible !! you can’t miss that !!! and there’s probably still ace teenagers out there because we’re always out there and they get to have this now. we all get to have this now. holy shit our flag is on the fucking cover

history.

life is not at all simple when he comes into this world - born of an affair, a noblewoman who loves a man beneath her - she fakes illness to a husband who doesn't think twice about her trip to the countryside where she brings a son into the world - he has no memory of the woman, no thoughts to the man who was his father - he is handed over to a boys home to be raised as no one.

there's a whole world that exists under the eyes of the human world - supernatural - vampires, fairies, werewolves - at twenty-two you come to London and find a large wolf pack that takes you in as one of your own - you learn how to live with what you have become. politics begin to change though, the talk of having a treaty among werewolves, vampires, fae, and shadownhunters - the leader of the london pack refuses to sit down at the table, to hear the words offered. trouble brews - the pack cannot survive the way it is going.

a challenge for alpha, the role of leader of the pack, he comes out the victor and comes to the table to sign the accords - the pack will not be the ones to break it, but it seems others have and will.

oh there's so many. first of all, obikin. i liked it as a father son/dyamic because i was new to the fandom and i had only watched the movies and clone wars (and i had no friends who could talk to me about them). then i met cecilia and some other people (not active on tumblr/in the star wars fandom) thanks to suburra and they managed to convince me that

a. no, anakin was not a token cishet man

b. yes, he and obi-wan were in love

it didnt take me long to get into the ship and i have not been the same person ever since. then, there's maulsoka, once again thanks to cecilia!! super iteresting dynamic and i even have the two of them as lego keychains hanging from my backpack (i've caugh them smooching multiple times lol)

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

i would say marvel in general because i've watched every single marvel movie that came out since 2012 at the cinema, but after infinity war i sort of stopped liking their products, except for venom and deadpool. i just,,,, dont care anymore, and i watch the movies out of spite, but this is proobably the longest i've been active in a fandom.

then, the shadowhunters chronicles. i read TMI when i was 13 and at the ripe age of almost 22 i still enjoy them!! it's my comfort trash ya.

you're a wizard, harry! because fuck jkr and fuck her books. and i hate this because they were an important part of my childhood, and now i feel nothing but revulsion and contempt lol.

i mean, it's not that big of a loss because the worldbuilding and most characters are terrible. only the weasley twins, sirius black and remus lupin get a pass. hermione too. and minerva mcgonagall.
