I still feel your hands wrapped around my neck and wrists,
they leave invisible signs that my memory can’t delete
and in my mind still resounds the smack
from your hand meeting my cheeks.
I can’t close my eyes without seeing your grin,
or spread my legs without thinking about the last time you were here.
I internalised the strength you used to make me yours
and turned it into rage
hoping that I will get to see you one last time
and then never again.

Why is the moral dichotomy always placed upon women? Why is it only women that have to be pious and self righteous? Why are women supposed to be kind and nurturing while men are supposed to be intelligent and daring? Why can't women be mischievous and loud? Why can't women be human?
