Oh ho ho, well if it isn’t the person who thanked me for the Ky content. You’re welcome, by the way. I also think there isn’t nearly enough Ky content, which is why i’m writing it! If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself!

Ferid Bathory

🤍♦️ Hoo boy. Hooooooooo boy. Ferid is EXTREMELY territorial. It really doesn’t take much to make him jealous. The perpetrator would have to be human, because no vampire wants to fuck with this bastard. Well… that’s not entirely true. I can’t see Rigr giving much of a shit. (But that is an entirely different can of worms.)

🤍♦️ Let’s get one thing straight. Ferid is not shy in the slightest about pda, not to mention the fucking collar (and probably leash, let’s be honest.) What I’m trying to get at is that EVERYBODY knows who you belong to. Everybody. Which means, the perpetrator can’t feign ignorance as an excuse. He deliberately tried to touch Ferid’s property, and that is unacceptable.

🤍♦️ His mood varies, but the options include: on-the-spot murder, psychological and physical torture, a threateningly polite warning, just *ahem* “claiming” you as his right then and there, or all of the above. Go ahead and spin the wheel, if you’re feeling lucky!

🤍♦️ Ferid is actually one of the scariest vampires out there. Not in a quiet, intimidating way like Urd, he’s more like an unpredictable wildfire. Anyone who spends even a single minute in his presence can tell that he is NOT one to be crossed. Someone would have to be downright suicidal to get on his bad side.

Lacus Welt

💜✨ He’s also very territorial, but can’t afford to be as loud about it as Ferid can. He’s not a noble, after all. That doesn’t stop him from being grumpy about it, however.

💜✨ If the douche is a vampire, which is unlikely, he’ll just stand there and glare and hope he leaves. Since drinking directly from a human is kind of illegal, he can’t really explain your complicated relationship to this other vampire who may or may not rat him out.

💜✨ Once you get home, Lacus will whine and rant about the other guy. Like, he will go on a full-on TANGENT about how disrespectful the guy was. He’ll probably also demand attention from you. You might want to just go along with it, he can be pretty whiney when he’s upset. Just hold him and reassure him that he’s the only vampire for you, he’ll calm down eventually.

💜✨ If the perpetrator is human, however, that’s another thing entirely. Unlike Ferid, Lacus is very predictable. On-the-spot murder is his go-to. No words, no threats, just fucking decimate the bastard. If that guy says even ONE THING that comes across as ‘a little too friendly’, Lacus will strike him down faster than a snake.

💜✨ Again, once you get home, Lacus will non-stop talk shit about the other guy. However, this time, it’ll be more gloating than sulking. Just pretend to be interested in what he’s saying. He’ll be too wrapped up in ranting about how stupid that human was to notice that you’re only half-listening.

Rene Simm

🖤♦️ Now here’s an interesting one. Rene is secretly VERY possessive, but he’s VERY good a hiding it. A master tsundere, this one. Like Lacus, he can’t afford to be loudly possessive.

🖤♦️ If the bastard is a vampire, which is still unlikely, he’ll pretend like he doesn’t care. Deep down he’s absolutely seething with rage, but nobody will ever be able to tell. You’ll probably notice that he does, however, act a bit grumpier than usual.

🖤♦️ If the perpetrator is human, that’s a different story entirely. Sure, he’ll pretend he doesn’t care. He’ll look the other way and ignore it entirely. It isn’t wise to plot murder out loud, which is why Rene is so quiet. He’ll wait until the opportune moment, and then it’s all over. No one will ever find the body.

🖤♦️ Similar to Urd, Rene is quietly intimidating. It’s always the quiet ones that you gotta watch out for, and this emo is no exception. Since he doesn’t have the power or status to openly challenge anyone who talks to you, he has to take a more creative and sneaky approach. Thusly, he plans and executes a murder worthy of a Buzzfeed Unsolved episode.

🖤♦️ Eventually people will begin to catch on to the fact that anyone who gets a little too close to you disappears forever. After that, they start to leave you alone. You, of course, will never even know about all the murders. Rene will make sure of it.

Ky Luc

I adore low quality Ky- lookit his litol face-

🔹🤎 Surprisingly enough, he’s not all that territorial, so to speak. He just doesn’t like that you’re paying attention to someone other than him. He wants you to be talking to HIM and making HIM laugh, not some random human.

🔹🤎 He will simply insert himself into whatever conversation you’re having. If the other person takes offense, that’s their problem. Ky wants your attention and he’s going to get it. If the other guy continues trying to fight for your attention, however, things might escalate.

🔹🤎 There likely won’t be any murder taking place (thankfully), but Ky has another trick up his sleeve. He’ll just foil all his opponent’s efforts to command your attention. He can keep this up for as long as it takes to frustrate the other person into leaving. He has a knack for annoying people!

🔹🤎 If he’s feeling impatient, he might just verbally berate the jerk. Having Urd as a role model has made him quite good with his words! He can eloquently tell this other person to fuck off, and make THEM feel bad about ruining his afternoon with you. All while never dropping his wide-eyed smile!

🔹🤎 Not wanting to disappoint Urd has made Ky a master at creative, non-violent solutions. And his natural curiosity and slightly bastardly nature have made him an expert at getting on people’s nerves!

Landing in this apocalyptic and futuristic world with your sibling, there's much to learn. Depending on who you both fall into the hands of it’s a different experience. Immediately your difference from those around you is seen and usually greatly admired. Hence their further surprise when you show a side they’d never seen before:

Saving your sibling on patrol is where they first meet

Of course, the box they carry is a great point of mystery

One that’s revealed when the sun has gone down and they're safely at the base

Fighting alongside your katana-wielding sibling he finds they work pretty well together

But this particular adversary is especially hard to beat, taking advantage of the night the whole team is struggling

At this point, Yuu is debating calling on Asura but is stopped by his amazement

Now he believes your sibling’s description of you as a demon

He watches with envy when your brother has to calm you down

He vows that next time he’ll be the first to soothe your soul

He probably meets your sibling first when he’s called on a mission to investigate an anomaly on their turf

Put off by his….partner’s aggressive tone and command your sibling is adamant about not causing trouble

But his….partner…gross seems to hit a sore spot when they demand they open the box

The sun is setting and your sibling is putting up a fairly good fight

But poor humans..,all it takes is one hit and debilitating crunch and their down

But the moon is high and the box opens to reveal you

A demon that easily bests their calvary and gives his partner a run for his money

It takes his common sense to threaten your sibling’s life before you halt your massacre

Once you're in custody he shows an express interest in your case

Promising to himself and you that he’d protect your sibling

“Your brother…reminds me of someone else I know. Someone I’m looking for.”

He sees himself in you, turned into something against your will and trying to survive in a world that demands you succumb to your horrid instincts

When he makes a break for it he’s taking you both with him

Once he finds his Yuu then you both can go far far away

So that you both can be monsters away from this horrible world

Even if you struggle and swipe at him

He’s going to help you

He’s used to dealing with a rowdy troublemaker

This is no obstacle to him

“Calm down. When I’m done you’ll get your sibling back and that’s all that matters right? Then you will listen to me. And only me.”

A part of the welcoming envoy that comes off too aggressively

A different-smelling human with a box on their back of course he’s interested

Even more so when they fight him upon questioning about that box

Only to find he’s completely at a disadvantage with the animalistic rage that you come out with

“Oh my, to think I thought I knew only one vampire with a sibling complex.”

He is intent on taming you constantly trying to force you to drink human blood or better yet eat human

But you won’t cave

But neither will he

With your sibling in custody and you at his disposal

He feels as though no one can stop him

After all, it worked out the first time he broke a family up

He doubts it wouldn’t work now

He just hopes you don’t freak out like you did before

That was scary it slows progress

Blood in the Cut ║ Ferid Bathory x Reader Cross posted on Archives of Our Own

Rating: Mature; SFW no smut Warnings: Blood and injury, blood drinking, undertones of dubious consent, aphrodisiac use in the form of vampire venom

Summary: Poor clumsy little human pet… A slip of the hand while cutting vegetables leaves you with a bad gash on your palm. Thankfully your loving Vampiric owner Ferid Bathory knows just what to do in order to take care of your poor injured hand. Don't worry little lamb… everything will be okay. (AKA Ferid "cleans" your wound with his tongue and you get high and aroused from his venom.)

“Now now my dearest little lamb, what have you gone and done to yourself this time?” An unmistakably sweet voice singsongs from behind you. The sudden heavy presence causes the hairs on the back of your neck to stand on end.

Ferid Bathory.

“Poor thing… did you hurt yourself? Don’t be shy let me see.” The vampire croons gently against the shell of your ear, now suddenly much too close for comfort. Before even getting the chance to turn and face him, the progenitor crossed into the kitchen and now looms over you like a ghost. You can feel the cool brush of his breath as he talks down to you. Subconscious alarm bells sound off in the back of your mind as primal instincts awaken and tell you to run.

You whirl around in fear to face the vampire with kitchen knife in hand ready to strike. This seems to amuse Ferid as he chuckles down at your startled expression, your pupils blown wide as adrenaline courses through your veins. He traps you between his tall slender body and the countertop, lithe arms caging you in on either side. Slow and careful as though approaching a feral animal the vampiric noble reaches out to slide the knife from your hand. Calculating irises examine the blade, the cool steel stained with a tiny fleck of your own blood. In that moment you swear you can see his catlike pupils constrict with interest.

“It seems I was correct in my assumption.” Lord Ferid chuckles darkly in the back of his throat. Slowly he sets the knife down on the countertop beside you. “Humans are so fragile. Such a shame when they are so clumsy. Posing a threat to even themselves.” He hums with that sickening saccharine smile. You clench your jaw and tense when he reaches to trail his fingers down the arm that you keep firmly clutched behind your back.

“Hiding your injury is a fruitless effort. I could smell it from across the manor.” Ferid reaches an elegant hand to stroke his knuckles against your cheek. He pauses to tuck a few loose strands of hair behind your ear, before guiding your gaze up to meet his own with two fingers poised beneath your chin. He touches you as though you are made of porcelain causing a sweet rosy flush to rise to your cheeks. When he strokes his thumb across your lower lip butterflies burst in the pit of your stomach. Your pulse races.

“I was cutting vegetables for a soup, but my hand slipped…” You try and explain in a small voice. It is so hard to keep eye contact with the progenitor so your gaze flicks down to observe the ruffled lace of his cravat. The gash on your hand throbs as you feel blood steadily trickling out from the wound. It was almost certainly dripping down onto the cutting board of diced carrots and celery ruining your hard work. You didn’t know how Ferid kept his self-control. If he could smell your blood from across the house, the kitchen must be inundated with your scent. Any other vampire would have been driven into a frenzy. Yet here the progenitor stands gently caressing your face in an attempt to coax you out of your anxiety around him.

“Just relax darling.” Ferid soothes sweetly. “I just need to take a look at the injury. I wouldn’t want my favorite pet bleeding out on me now would I?” The nobleman asks rhetorically. His hand leaves your face and reaches to grip the wrist hidden behind your back. Ferid’s touch borders on forceful hinting at his true vampiric strength hidden behind his carefully crafted mask. Despite my better judgement I try and pull my arm away. “It’s only a small cut Lord Ferid.” You mutter in an unsure voice. The vampire chuckles as his smirk widens showing off the pointed edges of his fangs. He saw through you as clearly as a windowpane. “I will run it under some water and patch it up. Promise.”

“Ah, ah. There is no getting out of this.” Ferid coos as he pulls at your wrist with his iron strength. It hurt to resist. “You may either submit willingly… or I can bend you to my will. The choice is yours little lamb.”

But of course… the truth was you really had no say in the matter. You could either show him the bleeding gash on your hand, or have your wrist broken as he wrenched it out from behind you. Within the walls of the Bathory mansion there was no such thing as choice or free will. Only the promise and illusion of it to make you feel as though Ferid didn’t completely own you.

You close your eyes and allow the vampire to pull your arm from behind your back. He hums in quiet approval of your choice as his fingertips tuck between your own and pull your bloody fist apart. You let out a soft whimper as your injured palm is exposed to the air and the progenitor’s awaiting eyes. Fear begins to creep back into your mind and you start to shake in his grasp. Was he going to drain you right then and there? Is this where you were going to die?

“Shh…” Comes Ferid’s voice as he inspects the cut. Gently he prods at the tender flesh cooing softly at you each time you flinch and whimper. His serpent smile indicates how much he is enjoying himself at your expense.

“You poor little thing.” He condescendingly hums before running his fingertip up the expanse of the gash, smearing the pooled blood in his wake. You flinch and cry out softly, trying to pull away from the sting of his touch. “It’s quite deep… you must be in terrible pain.” The vampire’s ruby eyes glint sadistically in the light clearly entertained by your suffering. Suddenly Ferid grips you firmly by the wrist before taking a step forward. He forces you back against the granite countertop and presses his body against yours. His hips pin you in place as his head lowers to the opening on your palm. Your heart jumps into your throat as his lips part revealing rapidly elongating fangs. “Don’t! Please!” You gasp out in a panic, and much to your surprise… Ferid pauses. His slit pupils flick up to meet your gaze before he chuckles gentle as ever. In a careful fluid motion he brings his lips to caress your pulse point on your wrist. Your mind spins in confusion at the sudden tenderness of the kiss.

“Easy now little lamb.” He whispers and meets your gaze with eyes half lidded. Silvery white lashes flutter as he presses his lips along your pulse once more. The faintest stain of your blood paints his lips from where he’d laid his kisses. “Relax for me now, I am not going to hurt you. It’s all going to be okay.” Ferid whispers in a melodic tone much like a siren luring it’s prey. He speaks to you low and intimate; sweet reassurances only for you to hear. You can’t help the way you react to his gentle words, tension in your shoulders beginning to melt away as your breathing slows. He is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, smiling so tenderly at you as your apprehension fades from your subconscious. For a moment as you stare mindlessly into vibrant eyes the color of the lycoris flowers, you could almost forget that he was a vampire. The backlighting from the lanterns on the walls set him in an ethereal glow making him appear almost angelic. Almost.

The illusion is soon broken when Ferid dips low to swipe his tongue along the length of the gash on your hand. Your gasp of shock breaks the still silence in the air. The pain of the motion is so intense you can’t help but try and wrench your arm out of his grasp.

Tears prick in your eyes as he drags his tongue up the wound for a second swipe, but to your surprise it doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as the first lap. “Hush my love… don’t fight it. This will help ease the pain.” Ferid purrs against your palm before continuing to lick at the cut. He is gentler this time when he delves back in, moving slow and sure as the tip of his tongue prods at the deepest points of the wound. You bite back a whimper at the strange feeling, something warm starting to boil in the pit of your stomach. Goosebumps prickle up your neck, and your entire hand tingles with a familiar pleasurable warmth. The pain all but a distant memory now, it finally dawns on you the purpose of this exchange.

His venom… in his saliva… that was his play.

Ferid smiles against your palm as your body goes slack against his. In a matter of minutes his venom takes it’s hold, weakening your muscles and filling your head with clouds. There is no more pain only warmth rapidly spreading to every part of your body. Your breathing is labored and hot as you lay defenseless against the progenitor. Butterflies of pleasure erupt in your stomach each time he draws blood from the open wound. It feels so good. It always does when he feeds from you. You could die happily in this euphoria, no longer caring if he were to drink you dry. Vampires were truly the apex predator. Their venom delivering such a quick and potent high, their victims easily giving in and becoming addicted to their bite.

It is over all too soon as Ferid finally pulls away. Your blood coats his lips and drips from the side of his mouth but really you don’t much care. You blink up at him with your head completely empty, still riding the high from the dose of his venom.

“There we go. Such a good pet.” Ferid praises as he reaches behind you to grab a cloth off the countertop. Quickly he wraps your wounded hand before lifting you up into his arms as though you weighed nothing. “Your blood is always so sweet. Not a single drop should ever go to waste.” The vampire muses as he smirks down at your blissful expression. Your eyes feel so heavy as you stare up at him in a daze. He coos at you in mock pity before leaning down to kiss your forehead.

“Let’s go get your injury properly cleaned and bandaged.” The vampire says in a cheery tone mostly to himself. He begins to carry you out of the kitchen and up to one of the many lavish bedrooms within his manor. “When we are done, I hope we can follow up on that little snack you gave me.” From your vantage point in his arms you can clearly see the glint of his fangs as he tells you his plans. “It seems I find myself hungry for more.”

Hello!I really love your analyses (I am trying to read them all)and having personally returned to the fandom after 4 years it feels like I discovered a hidden gem.

Since my favourite characters are all vampires and since Ferid is also one I would like to ask you what do you think the ending of the vampire race will be like?I mean with the way the story is going it seems that in the end all the vampires are sadly going to die either from the resurrection or with Saito finding a way for them to die as he promised.I would like it if they somehow get turned back into humans and somehow live a peaceful life but it seems highly unlikely 😔.I love Kagami for creating such a complex and deep story but since Horn and Chess appeared there is a high chance that Lacus and Rene will also and seeing my boy Lacus finally appear after 6 years ( his last appearance in the manga was in 2018 if I am not mistaken) to just die hurts 😭.

It is true, this ask is one that requires more thought, but it is a pertinent one that deserves attention.

I am really glad that my analysis is helpful and enlightening to this fascinating story. I will try to attach all my analysis in the masterlist to make it easier to read. (I kind of lost track of them and the analysis masterlist does not have them all. Sorry for that. )

Now about your question.

The answer is a complex one, and I really do not think I can offer anything with certainty.

Thus, I will rather discuss the existing possibilities and any assumptions I have.

In the end, we will see what happens in the manga further. What is certain is that I am sure that the ending will be extraordinary and full of meaning, commensurate with this special story, and I support the author whatever he chooses next.

Now I will present my ideas.

In the OnS world, there is a lot of emphasis on the concept of "soul". How the whole universe is created as a "prison" for this soul.

Infinite reincarnation, without the possibility of an end or a meaningful destination for the soul. This is how human life works here, in a continuous vicious circle.

To me, vampirism is simply another form of reincarnation. The same impossibility of freeing the soul, the same immortal "life", the same lack of meaning for the soul, only now in one body and at the cost of altering the memories and personality of the human souls trapped in this form of curse.

Moreover, vampire souls, as I said, do not have the possibility to die. They can only pass into another "form", as demons. So it is about human persons cursed with vampirism, which in the end can only become demons. Still a "circle" type trajectory, without escape.

That is why, I think, that just as humanity needs a new "restart", a release from infinite reincarnations (which maybe the resurrection will do), the souls of vampires need a form of release, of rest.

How will this happen?

Honestly, I do not know. Vampire souls are human, that much is clear. No matter what form they exist in: mortal human body, immortal vampiric body, demonic entity, it is all about human souls in different forms.

And right now there is no Heaven for these human souls, under any form, you know?

From here we can draw the conclusion, that maybe if Sika's suffering will find a solution, and if Guren will succeed in the resurrection, the laws of the OnS world will change and the possibility of a Heaven for all these souls will appear?

But the answer is, frankly, a complicated one. Because it is not just one way, I think.

For example, the vampires transformed by Sika Madu are basically the reincarnations of his angels. And Sika Madu wants to go back to Heaven with them, from whence they fell. So maybe these vampires will return to this Heaven in the end? As angels again, or as human souls?

But there are many other vampires who are not reincarnations of those angels, like Ferid, Crowley, Basteya, Lacus, René, Chess, Horn and the rest of the vampire race. These were just people. So what will be their ending?

And there is also something else. We are talking about the resurrection, which involved the death of every vampire, either for the resurrection of humanity or Mikaela.

But from what we have seen recently, these vampires are not much in the form of "vampires" anymore. Hundreds of them have been ingested by Ferid and their souls are in a state of metamorphosis to the demon form in Ferid's inner dimension.

Here comes a guess of mine.

Mahiru Hiiragi, before becoming a demon, said something, "Next time I am reborn I want to be an ordinary girl."

I think these words of hers should be taken more seriously, considering that since the age of 11 she has had visions and nightmares including about the Apocalypse. Perhaps she knew that there was a possibility that human souls who had reached the demon state would be reborn as humans someday. Perhaps this is a consequence of the resurrection Guren is currently working on.

Mostly, I do not think Ferid is working against Guren's plan by his current actions. Given that Guren's plan directly fights against Sika Madu's purpose, and that Ferid is involved in this plan willingly, I strongly believe that the "resurrection of mankind" means the restoration of the laws of this universe as well. That is, including what Ferid wants since he was 16, "breaking that circle", of meaningless reincarnation, changing the broken laws of the world.

Especially, Ferid did not say that he does not want anyone to ever be born again, but that he wants no one to ever be reborn in that " putrid " world. In that world of broken laws, which holds souls meaninglessly captive in infinite reincarnations.

Birth and rebirth are two different things. Or resurrection versus rebirth.

Rebirth drags the soul into a new life even if that soul has already lived a life. Rebirth leaves no room for rest.

Resurrection restores a life ruined by something, repairs it and perhaps gives it another meaning.

And if new laws are established for the universe, if the problem of infinite reincarnation in this hellish world is solved and Heaven is opened for human souls, maybe one good life will be given to resurrected human souls?

A life with meaning, at the end of which the soul has a Heaven where it can go.

And perhaps, the souls of vampires ingested by Ferid and turned into demons, as Mahiru Hiiragi implied, can "reincarnate" again as humans, now in a world that offers only one good and meaningful life for each soul, followed of the possibility of entering Heaven.

Thus, in this version, Ferid can be considered to represent the "gateway" through which vampire souls can get a chance to later regain their humanity.

And in the end, maybe the only vampire to die will be Ferid.

I think all vampires except him have had someone who loved them. Look at Horn and Chess, who are good friends in my view, or Lacus and René. Or Crowley with his comrades, with the friends he must have had in his previous life as Ferid's older brother.

All of them had love in their lives, people who loved them. And maybe that is why they need a new good life with these beloved people.

And Ferid, truly unloved by anyone, is the "sacrificial lamb", no matter how surprising it seems.

Basically, his greatest frustration is the rotten way his world works, its meaningless laws, the creation out of darkness by a corrupt God. And perhaps his happy ending is to die, leaving behind through his actions a world of meaning, a world born of love, something he always longed for but could not have.

There is a lot to say in this hypothesis, but what I am pointing out is that I am sure that Ferid will have a direct confrontation with Sika Madu, and more than anything, a discussion with this god of his, in which he will again demand the reason why everything is like that.

If you remember chapter 76 where Ferid asked Sika why the world is like this.

I think Sika might be willing to give Ferid an answer in the end.

In a way, you know, it may sound strange, but I feel a great similarity between Ferid and Sika Madu. Such a similarity that it seems for me that Ferid is a reflection of the curse placed on Sika Madu.

I would go into a lot of detail, but I risk making this essay too long.

The idea is that Ferid longs for a world with meaning, that good God, harmony and the possibility of a Heaven, the breaking of the cursed circle on earth. Just as Sika longed to reach Heaven again, where his Father (the other God) was, and just as he was cursed to live endlessly on that earth exactly like a Hell.

Even chapter 134, the fact that Ferid's memories where we find out how he feels about reincarnation follows the panel when Shinoa tells Sika that she will see all his memories. Beyond the sudden shift in perspective specific to the series. Perhaps this is also a clue related to what I say about the similarity between Ferid and Sika, about the sufferings of both.

If anyone is interested, I can elaborate more on this theory about Ferid and Sika.

Now, in conclusion, I am sure that no matter how everything ends, the vampire species will no longer exist. They are a cursed creation born of the suffering, frustrations and curse of Sika Madu. This is how the first vampire was "born", from his negative emotions generated by the received curse. So automatically this curse has to be resolved somehow.

And with the vampire species gone, surely their souls will find peace one way or another. I think a balance will be reached in the end.

I also have an idea for how Ferid could achieve this balance. I can elaborate on this in another post if anyone is interested.

After all, it remains to be seen how the author ends this fascinatingly profound story. I have full faith in Kagami and I am sure that the end of the story will teach us valuable things.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… 3 Crazy Bastards!

Ah shit, sorry this one's so late! I didn't realize it hadn't scheduled it like I told it to!

Ferid Bathory

🤍♦️You want to celebrate Christmas with him? He’s down! Of course he’ll make time for his favorite pet! He probably knows at least a little bit about Christmas activities, even if he hasn’t fully celebrated it before. He’s sure to make this the most entertaining Christmas in the world!

🤍♦️Ferid goes ALL OUT with the decorations. The day after you mention it to him, there’s gigantic boxes of decorations everywhere. 90% of them are covered in glitter and/or sequins. It’s going to take at least a week to get everything decorated, there is a LOT of mansion to decorate.

🤍♦️Oh he fucking LOVES Christmas music, especially when he can annoy people with it! Catch him singing along to ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ at full volume, his voice absolutely SHATTERING on the high notes.

🤍♦️Ferid would absolutely love to watch Christmas movies with you! He really just wants another excuse to hold you close and smother you in affection. I recommend Home Alone, a funny movie that might keep him entertained. Be warned, if the movie isn’t enough to keep him interested… Let's just say that neither of you will be doing a whole lot of ‘watching’.

🤍♦️He is absolutely delighted to partake in these silly human traditions! His favorite is definitely the one surrounding mistletoe. He carries some with him everywhere, just to force kisses out of you (he doesn’t need it, he's just being dramatic). Gingerbread houses are also a riot. Everything is a riot, actually. Ferid is just a funny guy. He likes to sneak up behind Crowley and slam-dunk giant snowballs on his head. Crowley does not find this nearly as amusing as you and Ferid do.

Envy

🌴🖤I am so sorry. Envy is the WEIRDEST mix of tsundere and yandere. Of course he doesn’t want to celebrate some stupid human holiday… but don’t you DARE celebrate with anyone else!! It’s honestly so confusing.

🌴🖤This bastard is the laziest decorator in the world. I hope you didn’t want your house to look good, because he kinda just sticks something somewhere and then leaves it there. He has no artistic talent at all.

🌴🖤He HATES Christmas music, unless he happens to be using it to annoy someone else. His usual target is Greed. He is absolutely tone def, and cannot carry a tune to save his life.

🌴🖤Christmas movies are only fun for him if he gets to make fun of literally everything. He’s definitely one of the most annoying characters to watch movies with. Oh, and he’s going to sit on the other side of the couch. He wouldn’t want some filthy human touching him. Definitely not. No he is totally NOT thinking about cuddling you.

🌴🖤Envy doesn’t see the point in a lot of traditions, and he is VERY vocal about it. He especially hates mistletoe. Greed will follow you two around with a fishing pole that has mistletoe tied to the end of it. It drives the palm tree up the wall!

Tsubaki

🖤🦊You are lying to yourself if you think Tsubaki and his gang don’t celebrate Christmas together every year. Prepare for the craziest Christmas of your life!

🖤🦊Decorating is a whole-squad kind of activity. ALL of his besties come over to help out, and it is CHAOS. Beru-Beru had to drag Sakuya by his collar (his SHIRT COLLAR, get your mind out of the gutter). Tsubaki himself has no decorating style, and just sticks everything everywhere. Everything is covered in glitter.

🖤🦊Christmas karaoke is a must. Beru-Beru brings a karaoke machine to their favorite sushi bar (it’s the only place they’re allowed in), and everyone takes turns singing carols. Again, Sakuya does NOT want to be there, but they forced him to because ‘team bonding time’. Tsubaki and Beru-Beru are the ones that dominate Christmas karaoke every year, because they’re just cool like that. They’re not good, they’re just the only ones that REALLY love karaoke. Sometimes Tsubaki gets into a laughing fit in the middle of the song. Oh, and everyone’s drunk by the end of the night.

🖤🦊Tsubaki’s gang has seen every Christmas movie at least twice, but they are all 100% willing to watch them all again. Christmas. Movie. Marathon. I hope you weren’t planning on sleeping! Aside from that, Tsubaki would also love to have a movie night with just the two of you. He thoroughly enjoys cuddles! His hysterical laughing fits make it a little difficult to hear the movie, though!

🖤🦊Gingerbread house competition! Everyone gets their own house, and then they vote on whose is the best. Literally everyone votes for themselves, though, so it isn't much of a competition. There are some… interesting designs. Needless to say, a lot of red frosting is used up. Snowball fights are scary intense. 6 vampires going at it with ice-laced snowballs? Terrifying. I’d sit on the sidelines if I were you. Beru-Beru likes to throw mistletoe at you and Tsubaki, and he also spikes the eggnog. By the end of any Tsubaki Squad Christmas party, everyone is absolutely hammered.

I think these are my first Genshin headcanons too!

Guren Ichinose,Shinya Hiiragi,Ferid Bathory,Pantalone and Neuvillette with a reader that struggles with depression and social anxiety(and also loves reading and painting)

Guren Ichinose

-I think he's really okay when it comes to care for someone

-like he may seem a bit depressed himself but he knows how to make sure that you do feel good

-very careful around you

-need a bath? He already prepared it; need a new book to read? He already bought it

-kind of an ideal boyfriend I think of in these situations

-he really likes you so he is going to make sure that his precious darling is feeling good and anything doesn't hurt you

-really protective; someone bothering you? Already dead/scared for their lives

Shinya Hiiragi

-he is always a calm/chill man

-like for real he thinks that anything can be solved through a calm attitude

-if you have social anxiety he's going to make sure that you are comfortable wherever you two may go

-if someone dares to say something about you being too quiet or anything like that he will umm make sure they're not going to do that ever again.

-very careful around you just like Guren

-isn't the type to cheer you up with excitement or a happy face,he will just try to calm you down

-since he is kinda quiet himself he isn't like the extrovert that makes people happy with their excitement

-a very good listener

Ferid Bathory

-honestly out of all the people in the world,Ferid is a questionable guy when it comes to depression

-like he doesn't know what is that and how does he deal with it

-of course that once he learns that you have it,he'll make sure to document everything on this subject

-though his playful attitude won't help very much

-I think he'll just put on shows for you to make you happy

-or whatever he thinks that is happiness

-he may seem as just playful and manipulative on the outside, but I do believe that he can and will take care of his s/o if they're in big trouble

Pantalone

-I kinda believe that despite all that rich man stuff,Pantalone has social anxiety

-like yeah he's a Harbinger,he's dangerous,but he has anxiety

-I feel like he's not very popular among the Harbingers too,like he's just there with all his rich stuff(we don't forget about the Yelan stealing situation lol)

-he will understand what you are feeling very well since he deals with that too

-most likely his love language is either giving you comfort or bringing you expensive gifts

-uses his money to buy you the craziest shit ever just because he thinks that maybe that will make you at least a bit happier

Neuvillette

-he isn't a human so it may be a new thing for him

-though he most likely experienced sadness or even depression while being a dragon,he just didn't knew how to call it

-those feelings are certainly something he wants to share with you

-he will be very soft with you

-and by that I mean the fact that he'll sometimes forget that he's the ruler of Fontaine and he'll just focus all his attention on you

-you're really that one person for him,so if he sees you being sad he will be trying his best to cheer you up

-he'll proceed to make you some appointments to therapy

-if that helps you then he's more happy than ever to hear that
