Rook Info Compilation part 19: Book 6 and Music
Rook invites himself to the Island of Woe in Book 6 in pursuit of Vil (and in one of Idia’s seiyuu Uchiyama Kouki’s greatest moments, which Tumblr’s egophiliac has animated brilliantly, here!).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rook reminds Epel and the Prefect that their goal is not to win the inevitable battle against the Charon but to lose and be taken inside STYX headquarters, and then freezes an island of ice on the ocean to serve as a battlefield.
Rook says that he had been fully prepared to take drastic measures if STYX had been doing something terrible to the kidnapped students, but he feels better knowing that they are receiving special exams and blot treatments.
When Ortho asks why it is that he came Rook explains, “So that I could tell myself, ‘I did what I could,’ which resonates with Ortho, who later says, “Thanks to you and your friends coming here, I think I finally understand my purpose. I must do my best so I can say, ‘I did what I could.’"
(Ortho then proceeds to shut down Cerebus and unite with the soul of the dead child he was created to replace.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
According to Trey, Rook will sometimes sing randomly during Science Club meetings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Deuce says that Rook started singing during while weeding the fire lotuses during Glorious Masquerade despite looking pained (“It was like watching a musical”) and Rook also bursts into song during Spectral Soiree, singing part of an obscure opera “known only to true enthusiasts.”
Vil says that Rook, Epel and the Film Research club (of which neither of them are members) got together and performed a “tolerable” opera for Vil’s birthday.
Rook is also a fan of classical musical and shares a conversation with a ghost about a Coral Sea court musician from three hundred years earlier, impressing the ghost with his familiarity with music history.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In addition to classical music and operas Rook also enjoys musicals, with historical musical “King’s Road” having a particular influence on him when he was a child. Rook explains, “I had trouble expressing myself as a child. But one day, I went with my family to the Shaftlands Royal Theater, and my whole life changed.”
He had seen “King’s Road” for the first time, and says that the performance of the lead actor—Neige LeBlanche—was the first time he’d been moved to tears.
Rook says it wasn’t Neige himself who moved him but the elements of the show combined—music, costumes, design—that made Neige shine. He says that the other cast members were spectacular, especially the villains, but he does not specify that child-Vil was one of them.
In his third birthday vignette Rook says that he often watches movies and TV dramas, and there is one series in particular that he has seen over 100 times.
Rook says he got two tickets to an opera from his parents for his birthday. (Other presents Rook received for his birthday have been compiled here.)

Eguchi Takuya

Tadokoro Hinata
Yasuaki Takumi

Synopsis:
What happens when two rival directors who hate each other's guts are forced to share one roof? And what if one of them has a secret he's been harboring for years? Throw in a shared love of movies, BL manga, and an accidental kiss, and you've got the next heart-pumping love story in Midorigaoka High and the sequel to Twilight Out of Focus 1. Jin Kikuchihara, third-year director, main actor, and president of the film club, and second-year director Giichi Ichikawa see eye-to-eye on very little. Jin is flashy, flirty, and focused on keeping everyone happy, while Giichi expects the best from himself and others, and will compromise nothing to see his vision through. Constantly at each other's necks, the two can hardly stand to be in the same club. But what will happen when family trouble forces them to live in the same room? Will their shared interests bring them closer as friends, push them further apart as rivals, or something else entirely?
Review Proper
Tumblr media
I love Tasogare Outfocus, but this is actually my favorite Janome.
The second installment curse strikes again!
UGHHHHHHH THIS WAS SO WHOLESOME. Don't get me wrong, Tasogare Outfocus is written pretty decently, but I really don't like how Janome just glossed over Hisashi's SA and grooming like that. It reminds me a lot of Etude vol. 1. I can still get over Etude vol. 1 'cause it's not that uncommon to see in sports and Ichi-san's deal with Futami was given some closure in 2, but given how short Tasogare Outfocus was, Hisashi felt like he just lmao byed his teacher. 😔Doesn't help that it kinda doesn't matter anymore in overlap even though it hasn't been long since it ended. Is my son Hisashi really okay now? 🥹
I'm old, so DK BL doesn't appeal to me that much anymore. It's also hard to find good DK rivalries nowadays that aren't just about fucking or delinquents. Zanzou Slow Motion, however, just checked all the right boxes for the category: simple, no drama, and no loose ends. That coupled with Janome's element of touch?
Tumblr media
And can we talk about this monologue?
Tumblr media
Ugh.
I will say Jin's suspenders, Ichikawa's snatched waist, and the ABO shout-out greatly influenced my decision too. Y'all should get suspended in high school, not wear suspenders!
Onto the technicalities...
I don't think I've heard these two co-star before (or I just don't remember), so I was a bit skeptical especially 'cause last I heard Makonyan in a DK was in, well... Given as BLCD!Ritsu. And where else did we hear Yuuma star in a DK too? Yuuma as Anime!Ritsu. We just had Given Anime!Ritsu in Tasogare Outfocus being somewhat friends with Ichikawa and now we have BLCD!Ritsu (thanks to ecargmura for catching this!) trying to romance him. They used very different tones for Ritsu, but the vibe was the same overall. THEY'RE THE SAME PERSON. Makonyan and Nakamo also played tops in the last works I heard of them (Makonyan as Takaba in Kurui Naku and Nakamo as Yakumo in Nu:carnival), so I was concerned about a lot of things. Thankfully, however, instead of Makonyan going for his Ritsu tone or his lighter Kimitte Yatsu for a more youthful vibe, he went all shounen in here lmaooo.
His bwakame was so funny it reminded me of this:
Tumblr media
I love roasting Makonyan more than any other seiyuu out of fondness, but I'm really proud of how far he's gone. He's gotten so much better in his delivery, and it's obvious in his budding anime career, too.
But...
I didn't expect there would be improvements in his bedding techniques too...
Tumblr media
What the fuck was that? HAHAHAHAHAHA. WAIT. No, y'all don't understand. I have most of this man's r-18 otome CDs and BLCDs, and I have never heard him this... this hot before???? Jin is such a smooth flirt, so I had some expectations on the delivery, but FURUKAWA MAKOTO HISSES. HE HISSES!!! SIR IS THIS APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR FOR A HIGH SCHOOL BOY??? THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW THEM DO THE DO FOR MORE THAN A MINUTE??? WHERE WAS THE NEED?!
PUTS THE GODDAMN FU IN FURUKAWA MAKOTO ALRIGHT!
First it was Ono Yuuki, now it's Makonyan. Is Nakamo's ass really that good that his tops go all in???
I admittedly don't have a lot to say about Nakamo because that man always slays. I was afraid that Makonyan would overpower him during their Netflix and chill, but as soon as I had that thought, Nakamo pushed back like??? THEM SHAKIRA HIPS DON'T LIE!
HOW DO I LEGALLY MARRY GINGER RECORDS???
I didn't read the scan or the official English release 'cause I actually had the raws, so I can't vouch for the translation. As for faithfulness to the manga, however, I need to stress that there were a lot of rearranged events and cut dialogue. One notable instance was Ichikawa's message for Jin. It was placed after their kiss in the last chapter, so I believe that these changes are quite significant. It is still possible to read the manga while listening to the BLCD, but I suggest reading the manga once first so you're aware of which pages you need to jump to.
Chil-chil Awards 2022 was a scam 'cause this wasn't nominated for ANYTHING! This might actually just be my favorite BLCD of 2021... and Makonyan was my favorite actor in this series so far. OKITSU AND MAKONYAN REALLY SWITCHED IN THIS LOG HAHAHAHA. Makonyan and Nakamo at least won in my heart. 😌 Definitely listen to this if you're a Makonyan fan or if you're a fan of the series in general. It's also perfect if you're looking for something light and sweet but immersive at the same time. Chesk gives this a 9/10! Only the third 9 after Sonna ni and KD!

Iris has no offiicial full-sized figures compared to past heroines and I think that's sad
I lost my old thread a long time ago, so taking a moment to show you how anime Iris only got two chibi pieces of merch, unlike all the main girls before and after (not including Koharu, who was more of a rarely appearing supporting cast member for much of her run), one a cheap Pokemon Kids toy and one a very nicely made (still chibi) collectors’ keychain part of a set.
Update: Iris now has an acrylic stand! Those are 2D, so not. Proper figures, alas, it's the same stock artwork that makes up stickers, just propped up to stand. There are also pins! Sadly, still no proper official 3D figure, aside from the chibi keychain (which was one of the first things I bought online with my salary--chibi Iris and a cute little Deerling plushie ♡).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There was an amazing resin statue of Champion Iris and Haxorus and another beautiful a League Series Iris (also in her Champion dress), but EZM Studios and Trainer House Studios respectively do not appear to be officially sanctioned by the Pokemon Company? There's a lot of Chinese figures that are honestly amazing, but seem to be unofficial/fan-made? Gorgeous, though.)
No figures of Iris as she was shown in the BW! anime/in her younger self's BW outfit from the games, ;^;
Tumblr media
Misty is a product of the 90’s and most of her figures were cheap children’s toys! But thers’s still a bunch of them (in addition to the cheap Pokemon Kids toy, assume one exists of every major character.) New merch includes the polished G.E.M. series figure & chibi plushie!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are sitting plushies, not figures, but they're very new and cute (and her seiyuu/original voice actress owns one and often poses it for photographs on her twitter, fff.)
Tumblr media
May is also an early character and primarily has cheap toys, but she also has this very sweet (very tiny) promotional movie figure of her with Manaphy... a recently made very polished G.E.M. series figure, and she has a figure with Torchic! Game May has her own polished figure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note: the G.E.M. series commemorates the anime and seemed to be going in order, until it skipped Dawn (despite her immense popularity?!) after May, then skipped Iris for Serena... then, they made the Sun & Moon girls and that seemed it.
Tumblr media
Dawn has a LOT of merchandise, ranging from cheap action figures for kids to collectors’ figures for her anime & game counterparts. Also, plushies, more keychains...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That last one is likely her game counterpart, given the loooong scarf.
Some more cheap children’s toy Dawns, trainer pack sets...
Tumblr media
Again, keep in mind, EVERY major Pokemon character gets the very homely-looking Pokemon Kids toys and for a long time, that was Iris’ only toy. So, despite not picturing them here, assume all the main girls have them (as do main boys!)
For the record, BW! Ash had character merch like collector’s figures and children’s toys/action figures too, it was only Iris who was excluded.*Cilan has a full figure (Banpresto Partners figure with Pansage, Banpresto Parnters Ash is with Pikachu) too! N, the Subway Bosses too also existed...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Serena has a LOT of merchandise. There’s a music box figure of her performing with a key, there’s the new G.E.M. figure with Sylveon, her game counterpart with Fenekkin, cheap kid’s toys (Takara Tomy action figure), a plushie of her short-haired look...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Serena’s game counterpart has figures, clearfiles, keychains, stickers, posters, etc. (Iris recently got a pin/badge along with the other Unova Gym Leaders, possibly stickers too)—slightly sidetracking, let’s get back to figures!
Tumblr media
A very cute short-haired, chibi XY anime-styled Serena (note she also has the gifted blue ribbon and the second outfit!) for the Pita Poke toys!! I wish I had those, it looks very Polly Pocket and cute, but sadly discontinued.
Tumblr media
Moving onto Lillie, she has the most merchandise across franchise, I think! She has two anime-based figures (with Snowy and the Poke Problem blackboard.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Game Lillie has many figures, a music box like Serena’s that plays her theme (it’s the one of her on the sofa with her diary).
Tumblr media
If we count ~related~ merchandise, there’s a cute Terrarium Collection one of Snowy on the shore, with fallen flowers floating on the water, with a paw reaching out to touch Lillie’s hat, lying in the sand. There’s Iris’ Axew stickers and cards, promotional stuff, but all 2D.
I may reblog with the others and anime-related merch that isn't figures... I hit the limit, PFFT.

Today is a good news days for BL fans!
Given is getting an anime movie sequel!!! 🥳
Can’t wait to see all the seiyuu’s reaction tweets! So far I’ve seen Mattan’s, and just now Imai also tweeted to look forward to this!! *_____*
I don’t know how much it’ll cover, but I’m excited for more Hiiragi and Shizu. I remember when THAT scene happened between them in the manga, and I started wondering what would happen if the seiyuu had to somehow record it (I’m referring to the anime cast, not the cd cast).
And why is that a huge deal? Because Shizu is Ban Taito and Hiiragi is Imai Fumia, and both of them have never been in a main couple in a BLCD. Aka never did h-scenes. Taito has been a minor character on many BLCDs, but was never in the main couple and never had to record h-scenes, Imai has never done BLCDs but I think he’s done some voice comics (but I rarely watch those). What I’m getting at is that both of them are BL virgins when it comes to h-scenes. And we might never get to witness anything close to that animated/recorded, but even a hint is ok with me *__*
(I might have to re-listen to BLCDs Taito has done, just to make sure I’m not mistaken. Maybe he’s done some kisses or something light, maybe he was not always ‘the friend’ but sometimes ‘the other guy who’s in love with the uke’? honestly can’t remember LOL. Guess I’ll have to check.)
Oh, and why I said it’s a good day for BL fans? Because not just Given, we’re also getting an OAD for Mask Danshi wa Koishitakunai no ni!!!

Do you think Capcom could bring Ashley back as an agent? Some people say that her dialogue about wanting to become an agent and protect the country together with Leon was "a joke", but she didn't seem to be joking at all, because she actually sounds nervous and a bit embarrassed when she tells Leon.
I think Capcom's intentions were to make Ashley a character that people would like, as if they already intended to bring her back in future games/movies. I mean, her face model and body model are two of the most famous cosplayers in Japan (and dare I say the world as well), and even her seiyuu, Akari Kitō, is also quite popular.
Not to mention that in all the scenes where she helps Leon, Ashley seems really happy to do it, (like the wrecking ball or when she killed the Regenerador).
If Capcom turned Sherry into an agent, why couldn't they do the same with Ashley? Leon could even make her his student and train her. I hope that receiving asks like this is not a bother for you, but I always love to read your opinions. ^^
I've gone back and forth on this. If you dig back through this blog, you'll find posts of me saying "no, and they shouldn't, and here's why" and also posts of me saying "yes, that was probably always the plan, and here's why."
Here are the facts:
+ Capcom went into making RE4make knowing that it had to compete with games that were inspired by OG, and Ashley had to be likeable on the level of Ellie The Last of Us, which would mean fans would want her back
+ The conversation between Leon and Ashley about her becoming an agent is the only piece of "cutscene" dialogue in the game that is unskippable. You can even skip the conversation between Leon and Luis on their elevator ride. But not this one.
+ By the time of RE9's release, it will have been 20 years since the events of RE4, and the only time Ashley was even mentioned in all that time is offhandedly in ID
+ RE9 is very likely to be the end of the story for the legacy cast
I don't see a point in bringing her back at the zero hour in RE9. I really don't. This would have to be a change made strictly for the Remake timeline, and Capcom has shown no intentions of expanding that timeline beyond the mainline numbered titles.
But I also didn't see a point in making Infinite Darkness and going all the way back to 2006 when Leon's story had already progressed to 2015, and the way Ashley kept getting brought up felt significant. I've argued in the past that it was just to remind RE fans that Ashley existed in preparation for RE4make, but it does go to show that they could, theoretically, keep going back in time in order to add her into the story.
So I don't know.
I don't know and I'm getting older every day and I'm tired of waiting on Capcom to talk about shit. I might be 45 years old by the time we can definitively answer this question, and that pisses me off to think about lmao

Hello hello! I started watching Witch from Mercury and I'm 5 episodes in but fully entraced by the show. I've never watched any Gundam before but would like to give it a go. I've taken some of your suggestions before for things (like Nier!) and have never been disappointed. Do you have a recommendation on what to start with for Gundam? Do you have strong opinions on sub v dub?
Thanks much Diana and give your cats a pet for me
omg thank you so much
if you like Gwitch, well, it’s very different from every other Gundam but you can’t go entirely wrong with giving yourself brain worms by consuming the main plot line UC series (original/0079, Zeta Gundam, ZZ Gundam, Char’s Counterattack), since every other series is taking heavy inspiration from these and it’ll give you a strong foundation even if ZZ is. well. It’s ZZ. Gwitch took a lot of cues from Zeta in particular. Try watching the original and if you’re struggling to get through it, the movie compilations are a good primer. Honestly I think almost every fan of anime in general should watch Mobile Suit Gundam (1979), whether in the original TV or the movies. It’s one of the most heavily riffed on and referenced series to ever exist. A Western equivalent is it’s like watching sci-fi without having seen Star Wars, watching detective media without seeing any film noir movies, or watching horror without having seen Halloween or Psycho. You’re missing part of the storytelling language.
The other thing about asking me in particular is that I had one of the most insane Gundam viewing orders of all time and still turned out okay, in that my first was Wing (disliked) and my second was Turn A (adored to an impossible level, changed my life, top favorite anime of all time). Ideally Turn A should not be your first. However. It is a masterpiece. And unlike almost every other fan I genuinely believe if you can’t connect to the others, but Turn A turns out to be your shit, just watch Turn A. Something I believe about Gundam that is NOT the mainstream opinion is that while a lot of the series are best watched after others, you probably can pick any Gundam that speaks to you and start there, even if some of the grognard type fans will yell at you for it. Even if some of the series are objectively kinda terrible starting points (please don’t pick Narrative as a starting point because even if they tried to market it as such you’ll get nothing out of it without Unicorn first and also it sucks ass), what’s most important is that you enjoy what you’re watching!
Oh yeah, side note. Since you mentioned you like Nier, I’d do 0079 and then add in 0080. It’s six episodes! It’s heart breaking! You’ll have a miserable time (positive)!!!
For Gundam in particular, as a franchise, I tend to vastly prefer the subs except for Wing because that’s what I watched since I am a seiyuu fan and you have NO IDEA how many other series will be riffing off any major Gundam actors’ roles, especially if they cast the people who played Char and Amuro.
bonus side note: you won’t get as much out of it unless you’ve seen the UC stuff I don’t think but Build Fighters (first season) is an absolute love letter to the fandom as a whole and delighted me for the whole show. highly recommended but like, as a fandom celebration sort of show.
ps here’s a Mishka

This weekend I had a one-in-a-lifetime experience in Chile’s Super Japan Expo event. I got to meet Hosoya Yoshimasa!!!! And also, Shinichiro Miki. I want to tell you how it went!
Tumblr media
The event lasted 4 days, but I had tickets for Saturday and Sunday, both of the days that Hosoyan would be in the event. I got the m&g with him for Sunday because the friend I was with didn’t had m&g ticket for Saturday and I didn’t want to leave her alone haha.
On Saturday I attended Hosoyan and Miki’s seiyuu pannel, which was held in the main stage of the event. That’s the first time I saw him up close and omg to say I was speechless is an understatement. I have no pictures of this because Hosoyan’s staff didn’t allow it and I really wanted to respect his and his team wishes so they could see how well behaved we were and would want to come back. Still, it was really fun and they mentioned cool things about them and their job that most of the attendees didn’t know. What I remember of this pannel is this:
-when Hosoyan entered the stage, we were cheering loudly and he shushed us and THE WHOLE STAGE WENT SILENT! it was so cool! He then recited a line from Reiner and we all went crazy.
-when it was Miki’s turn, we did something so cool were the whole audience recited Musashi’s lines in the rocket team motto (we did it in spanish) and Miki did Kojiro’s. It was awesome!
-the interviewer asked them the typical questions such as if they liked Chile and what they thought of the crowd’s energy and love towards them (Chilean and latinamerican crowds and fans can be veeeeery energetic and we cheer like crazy for our faves) Miki and Hosoyan said that they were really amazed at how loud and fired up we were, saying that in Japan they didn’t get the same reactions (they mentioned this as something really positive which they loved a lot)
-then they were asked about their roles and what got them into voice acting, again, this is not new information, but it stuck to me when Hosoyan answered that question, he told us the story about how a friend of his at school lend him a VHS tape of an anime he wanted to see (i don’t remember the exact name, sorry) and he liked the main character so much cuz he was able to teleport, so, in his child mind he thought something like ‘mmh i wanna teleport too’ so he wanted to become a voice actor after that. He ended his story saying: “and now I am able to teleport” which made us laugh a lot (he was so cute and silly ♥️)
-they also talked about their first experience in the voice acting industry. For Miki’s case, he was casted as a character called student c for Monster Hunter anime, if I remember correctly, his sole line was something like “That’s not human!” Towards a demon and his character was k worded by said demon lmao. Then Hosoyan told us that his first role ever wasn’t even in an anime but in the dubbed version of a Chinese drama or movie, where his character got be headed by the protagonist. Both Hosoya and Miki finished their stories with “I guess we got killed a lot back then” HAHAHAHA
-Miki also told about his first voice acting role, he was so nervious that he was shaking so, in order to hide the tremors of his hands, he put them on his pocket the whole time and all his superiors thought he was having a bad attitude towards them so he got scolded HAHAHA
-they were also asked about if they had times in where they would be so into character that they’d end up sharing the same feelings and suffering along their characters. Miki said that he, in order to do his job right, had to be the person who knew that character the most, so there were times in which he felt that way. On the other hand, Hosoyan said that he tried to distance himself from characters because he felt that, even if he got into the skin of his roles, he would never be able to express the genuine feelings his characters are experiencing. He used Reiner as an example and said that he had a complicated past and had suffered a lot and said that he was different because he was a happy and lively person that lived his life to the fullest and I loved that about him.
-during the whole thing they were waving, smiling, doing finger hearts. It was so cute. Hosoyan smiled at me multiple times and responded to my waving!
-at the end both Hosoyan and Miki took a picture for their socials. Miki took it with an ipad, it was really cute!
Then, for Sunday, I feel that it was more intimate. It was pretty cold and less people attended but still, the main stage was packed and full and they received a lot of love too.
This pannel was slightly different.
-again, Hosoyan entered with a line from Reiner and we did the whole Musashi and Kojiro thing again. It was just as cool.
-they were again asked about their feelings on Chile and the crowd and they said that they thought few people would come but they were really happy to see a lot of people, specially familiar faces from yesterday. (This was after the m&g so we all had our signed shikishi). I was pretty happy they remembered the people that was in the pannel the day before.
-this time, in the stage, right next to the interviewer was Alvaro Díaz, a popular and well loved Chilean Voice actor that was a guest and asked Miki and Hosoya very interesting questions. His interventions were very positive and added a whole new mood to the pannel.
-Alvaro asked Miki and Hosoyan if they had times in which they intervened in something that had to do with the characters they were voicing. Miki said that he considered the director as the captain of a ship and that he respected his decisions on his characters fully. He also said that his sole job in the studio was to give a voice to said character so he listened to the director’s directions, on the other hand, Hosoyan said that he was very talkative when it came to his characters and in more than one chance he exchanged opinions with directors on this matter. He said that he always had something to say and never kept it to himself haha. I loved seeing this side of him! And I also loved the contrast between him and Miki. Hosoyan then added something that stuck to me a lot: he said that we Chilean fans were lucky because those kind of things were never discussed in events in Japan. Those topics were talked about off work, between fellow seiyuu along with drinks. It was so cool!!!
-Miki then looked at Hosoyan and said “wow, look how much you’ve grown!” And it was soooo cute! They reminisced the times where Miki would take Hosoyan out for drinks and give advice to him ❤️❤️❤️
-Then Hosoyan talked about his role as Joe in the megalobox anime and he talked a lot about this. It was pretty awesome. He told us about how nervious he was about this role because it was a reboot of and old anime and that he respected Joe’s original voice actor a lot so he felt pressured to do a great job. Teruhiko Aoi then contacted him and told him that he saw Joe well portrayed by him on the screen which made him feel really happy.
-Miki then talked about his role as Takumi for initial D. He talked about how he got the same car as the protagonist and kept customizing it along the car in the anime was customized and now he had a completely different car hahaha. Then the event showed a trailer for a branch story of the same anime, which had nothing to do with Miki 💀 and, when it finished, Miki said “do you know what’s the best part of this trailer? THAT MY NAME IS NOT ON IT!” HAHAHAHAHA.
-during the trailer, Miki, the translator, the interviewer and Alvaro moved from the screen to let people watch and Hosoyan didn’t HAHAHA he was sitting, watching the whole thing, then he looked at us, very confused at to why everyone was laughing and then moved away slowly lmao it was soooooo cute!!!
-then hosoyan took a pic for his socials. Miki didn’t do it this time.
I feel like Saturday’s pannel was shorter but idk haha
Thennnnn, the m&g!!!! As I said, I bought a m&g ticket for Sunday. Gifts were allowed so I bought him a bottle of wine. I wanted to give him something he could enjoy and Chilean wine is worldwide famous so it was the perfect gift.
Before entering the m&g we were waiting with the other girls in there and talking to each other about the whole thing. There were girls that came all the way from Peru!!! It was soooo cool!! They were also super friendly and sweet, so if you are here and reading this, it was soooo nice to meet you all!
There were other girls who attended the m&g the day before and talked to us about their experience. They mentioned Hosoyan’s manager, who was standing a few feet away from us haha. They say she was SUUUUUUPER strict and scary and that she was the main reason behind the no picture rule and stuff. They also said that, during the m&g she kept things really fast and didn’t let Hosoyan interact with fans for a long period of time. I looked at her and she had this 9 yard stare, like she was super scary HAHAHA.
Then, we entered the m&g, which was held in a small room. There were chairs and stuff and a stage with the events banners and all that jazz. We were given masks at the entrance and they told us it was imperative to wear them. Then, the staff of the event came and they told us the rules. No photos allowed, the gifts wr had for him couldn’t be handed to him directly, so they collected them and put them aside. He did take the gifts with him so it was cool. The shikishi were already signed. He had signed them previously. We were explained how it would work: Hosoyan would enter, share some words with us, then give us the shikishi by order, shake our hands and we would leave 💀 we were given only 15 seconds to interact with him.
Well, he came and I was literally dying. Like I couldn’t believe how handsome he was. I kid you NOT, he is GORGEOUSSSSS!!! And so coom and polite omg he was smiling the whole time, said hi to us in spanish and was super happy to see the girls from Peru there. He literally was a ray of sunshine, the whole room lighted up when he smiled or laughed. The his manager hurried him up and he started handing the shikishi. I was in the front row of seats so we were first, we had to use sanitizer on our hands, then he would shake our hands and hand us the thing. I got suuuuuper nervious and I was shaking. I apologized to him for not speaking japanese and told him about the wine and that I hoped he enjoyed it. He squeezed my hand and smiled brightly! He was so warm and rubbed my hands cuz they were cold hahaha. He thanked me for the wine and for coming and gave me the signed shikishi. Then I had to leave HAHAHA. It was SUUUUUPER SHORT, super duper fast, but i’m not really complaining because not even a fulm interaction of 24 hours or something would be enough with someone as bright, handsome, cool and talented as him. For real!!! After the whole thing I was shaking and I literally couldn’t believe I had shaken the hand of THE Hosoya Yoshimasa. He was so humble and down to earth too, it was the best experience ever!! It was worth EVERY CENT!!!
So that’s it!! I hope you liked my experience hehe. I will not upload a picture of the signes shikishi because he asked us to keep it as a personal treasure and not upload it to socials 🥺 still, ill leave you a pic I took before the m&g and the pics he took of us on both pannels!
Miki also was such a sweetheart! On Sunday he was almost moved to tears to see how much the Chilean public loved him. It was the best!!!

Ok... so @sally-for-sally took me to watch the new Dragonball Super movie. Thanks bestie♡
I promised a review so here it is~
WARNING: Spoilers! Rambling! Disorganized fangirling!
All the characters are so cute!!! I have no idea how to write a review about this one. It's going to be very scattered and I'm just going to ramble and word-vomit all the feels that I do remember!
Here we go!
__________________________________
Dragonball Super: Super Hero
First off, I really liked the "montage" intro. Perhaps more like a tribute/flashback/review. It definitely served its purpose in setting the tone. It felt more like a nod to the OG db vibes and I loved every bit of it.
Villains:
Speaking of OG db, they brought back the OG villain, Red Ribbon! I am aware RR is featured in the newer DBZ games, but it was still nice to see that old logo on the big screen.
The main villain is Magenta, the son of Commander Red. Red... Magenta... lol I will always appreciate the never-changing naming preference.
Magenta is this short mafia-head-looking dude. He hires another shortie. A superhero fanboy who is actually a genius, De. Hedo, the grandson of Dr. Gero.
Dr. Hedo is soooooo cute!!!!! We first see him leaving prison, so we are lead to believe he's a bad guy. But he was serving time for successfully reanimating the dead (think Frankenstein's monster). His crime was for unethical medical/scientific studies/esperiments. Ok. Still a crime...but we know he's a genius. He knows it too! He said his grandpa was a genius, but he's a SUPER genius. Lol so cute~
He's not only a super genius, he's also a hardcore superhero fan! He likes the oldschool superhero costumes, the aesthetic, everything! He even modified his own skin to make it more tough. Kind of like classic superheros where even if they get shot, they're daijyokay.
I liked seeing the son of Commander Red and the grandson of Dr. Gero interacting. They're both short so it's extra cute. The entire time, I was like "awww these two shorties~~" I was particularly amused when Magenta kept feeding Dr. Hedo oreos lol. So cuteeee!!!
Magenta successfully tricks the super genius Dr. Hedo into thinking the saiyans are the bad guys. So in order to save the planet, Dr. Hedo creates superhero androids, the Gammas!
Ahhhhhhhhh
Now look. I am not a seiyuu fan... but MAN.... why did they cast such amazing voices for these androids???? Gamma 1 and Gamma 2... their design is super cute! Gamma 1 has 1 fin on his head and Gamma 2 has 2 fins on his head. Idk if they are fins or horns. But they kinda reminds me of sharks so I'm just going to call them fins. Anyway, I like their designs!! Simple and non-human. BUT THEIR VOICES!!///// Why make their voices ikemen???////////// I was not ready for that.
Anyway, the Gammas were designed to be the best superheros. They, at first, blindly listen to Dr. Hedo's commands, believing that they were fighting villans (the saiyans + Piccolo). But when they realize the saiyans area the villains, they "re-program" themselves to be true superheros.
I like Dr. Hedo and the Gammas. They aren't villains, just a bit naive. I always love the classic trope of genius but naive. Dr. Hedo didn't disappoint.
Other than the Gammas, Dr. Hedo also made another Cell, Cell Max. Nothing too interesting to say about Cell Max, to be completely honest. His design is mainly the same, just more red. He's just supposed to create a "dangerous" atmosphere so that the heros can level up a bit before they save the world. He was "released" prematurely, so it's not like he is cognitive. He's just a brat that is big mad that someone woke him up from his sleep.
Piccolo:
Ok. So to summarize the entire movie with 1 description... it's a Piccolo Movie.
He's the main character.
We see Piccolo being a great babysitter, as always. Not only did he babysit Gohan, now he's babysitting Gohan's daughter, Pan. He trains her and also picks her up from school. But just because he's Pan's teacher, it doesn't mean he ever stopped being Gohan's teacher.
Biss gets attacked by Gamma 2, and what does he do? He goes above and beyond to make a training regime for Gohan.
He stops by for the dragonballs to wish for latent potential (Shenron gave him a little extra as well), goes undercover into RR HQ SEVERAL times.... and even makes Pan pretend to be kidnapped. All of this to make Gohan understand that training consistently is important because you never know when we will need to save the planet.
The entire movie is about Piccolo being extra.
I always liked Piccolo in the manga because he was always so darn cute. But it was great to see him depicted in a cute manner in animation too! His place of residency is very barren because he doesn't like to keep unnecessary things. He's also like a houseplant because he only really needs water to live. Because his basic needs are met, he has no use for monetary assets.
We learn that Videl has been "paying" Piccolo for his babysitting with plushies. Piccolo clearly does not need anymore (or any at all) plushies... but I'd like to think he can't get rid of them because they were gifts. It's super cute. And since he doesn't get rid of them, perhaps everyone just thinks he likes them. It's extra cute. The cycle doesn't break. More plushies!!!!!!!
Anyway, with Shenron's extra boost, Piccolo gets his first visual upgrade. His skin turns golden, very much how the saiyan's hair turns gold when going super. But then he had to go and slap a boring name on it: Orange Piccolo. This dude needs a better naming guidebook.
Piccolo not only helps the villains grab Gohan's attention, but he also helps to escalate the villains' plans, but it's all gucci because he ends up being the main drive to successfully save the planet. So yeah. A one-man show. A one-Piccolo show. Bless.
The Saiyans:
So many things I want to comment on!!
There was a great lack of ChiChi here. But looking back, it makes sense to take out ChiChi's presence. Gohan is too influenced by his mother. That's a whole 'nother can of Asian tiger mom worms. Not sure if that was the correct setting for this kind of movie. As much as I love ChiChi, for the vibes of this movie, it was right to leave her out.
Speaking of leaving out. I thought it was great how they sent Goku and Vegeta over to Beerus's planet to have them train under Whis with Broly. It was necessary to remove those training-obsessed grandpas from this "disaster."
Beerus crushing on Chirai is canon lol. I think I need some time to process this choice too. Pretty sure that was just added randomly so that there is an excuse to keep Goku, Vegeta, and Broly from being forced to return to Earth. I ship Chirai with Broly so kitty kat needs to just end it at the crush state.
I just want to say.... Goten's glow-up tho~~~ ahh so cuteeeeee I def love his new hair!~
I thought having Goten and Trunks mess up the fusion was a great move. Every small detail happened so that Gohan and Piccolo could level up. If Trunks and Goten successfully fused, they could have easily floored Cell Max.
We then have Krillin and Android 18. I absolutely loved how Krillin actually stayed back with Bulma to "protect" her. Bros been through a lot these many years. He's only human. Give him a break. No cap tho, I found myself hoping Krillin didn't get killed. It would be too much. And yay! They kept him alive! Good job, Krillin! You made it to curtain call!
I spoke about Videl a little bit, but sounds like she's also a girlboss. As much as people diss DBZ female characters, I kind of appreciate how Toriyama makes his female characters strong. No, I don't mean "can they solo Goku?" strong... but in the real world, Bulma, ChiChi, and Videl are all top tier.
Bulma: CEO of Capsule Corp. Certified genius. She has beauty, brains, and money.
ChiChi: Literally a princess. She comes from money, yet she settled for Goku. She's good at whatever she wants/needs to do. She's stubborn, sure, and has a bad habit of only seeing what she wants to see, but she's just super goal-focused. She's smart, pretty, and knows what she wants. I'd assume she also has money as well.
Videl: She's the daughter of Mr. Satan. Meaning... she also comes from money. She's also very efficient with her job. She knows how to ask for favors too (shown with Piccolo). Videl's EQ is probably the highest in the entire DBZ cast.
It's because of these fierce women then the saiyans are able to do whatever tf they're into...
Which brings me to Gohan.
This biss.
At least he doesn't train all day like Goku and Vegeta.... at least he stays home... sure. He stays cooped up in his room... only interested in his research. ChiChi wanted you to study to land a good career! Not so you could continue the cycle of being a negligent father!
Dude really pushed all his fatherly dutied onto Piccolo. Like father like son... One would think that because he couldn't spend a lot of time with his dad growing up, you'd think he would want to be in Pan's life more... nah. Bro straight-up was like "I didn't need a dad, so you don't need a dad either, Pan!" Bruhhhhh
Which... kinda maybe yeah. Maybe Piccolo should just open an official academy. Get paid in sensu beans?
Pan was probably my favorite character in this entire movie. She was so cute!!!! Her lovely acting reminded me of Anya from Spy x Family too. "Papa!!! Tasukete!!!!" Was too cuteeee~~~!!!
But honestly... how does Gohan not know how strong his own kid is? At least Goku was like "nah, my son will be fine! He's 3 now, but he's strong!" Meanwhile, Pan's about to learn how to fly and our man Gohan is just like "oh no! Humans have kidnapped my saiyan daughter!" Lol. It's just extra sad and shows just how much of a negligent father he is.
Am I done with this review? No idea... I think this is all of my feels at the moment. It was a super cute movie. I loved Pan, I loved the shortie villains duking jt out, I loved the Gammas, I loved Krillin trying to stay alive, I loved Goten and Trunks messing up fusion. I loved Piccolo and his plushies.
Arigathanks for reading!

I just saw clips of Samurai Jack dubbed in Japanese out of curiousity and it's interesting!!
Example:
[background music]
youtube
I liked Aku's English voice more (more humour and theatrics in Mako's voice acting, his Japanese seiyuu Sugawara Bunta who is also a film actor not only seiyuu--he's most known for yakuza movies, like Battles Without Honour and Humanity--is very dramatic, but seems less comedic--I think he gets better, though, because his voice here is VERY good, but in the intro/opening it sounded a bit flat, so maybe his seiyuu changed the way he voiced him over time to be more lively?), but Jack's Japanese voice Ukaji Takashi (who notably acted in Kamen Rider, also, his mother is of Ainu descent ^^) is veeery good! I really like the Japanese both use, Aku sounds very egotistical and self-absorbed, Jack sounds very old-fashioned and fitting for a samurai character! ^^
When I looked at the Japanese comments, people were praising Sugawara Bunta's voice acting the most, but also saw one praising the casting choices for both Sugawara Bunta and Ukaji Takashi as Aku and Jack respectively, describing it as shibui. Refined, understated, etc. So, I guess those voices held more appeal to Japanese viewers for their seriousness, while American cartoons (especially for younger viewers) favoured a more tongue-in-cheek/comedic delivery!

Masuyama Takeaki & Kobayashi Chikahiro are dubbing the MCs in Red, White & Royal Blue???
Well. Now I'm dying to watch that in Japanese!!!! 0___0 (I haven't even watched the original. Yet)
Guys, really? You've never done a BLCD but you're dubbing THIS? How.
I remember Masuyama was a minor character on some BLCDs, but never in the main couple. And I don't think Chika has done anything BL related (sadly, because he could've been a super hot seme *_* I love his voice).
I mean, can you imagine them dubbing this scene? Or this?? (n-sfw). I NEED to hear them!!
Speaking of dubbing, to answer this anon about Good Omens in Japanese -
Tumblr media
I must say - I have no idea. I've never thought of that. I mostly prefer to watch things in their original language. So anime in JP, movies and tv shows in their original languages. Good Omens is perfect and I adore the cast. I can't even imagine watching that dubbed.
Now I feel like this contradicts what I wrote above, but it's not really. The only reason I'd want to watch Red, White & Royal Blue in JP is to hear two seiyuu who have never done BL, dubbing in actual BL scenes (and I think it's even harder than recording CDs, because they have to look at the scenes in front of them while dubbing them, unlike reading from a script for a CD 😳).

So since Takahiro Sakurai got fired I wonder who will be voicing Geto in the future?
I haven't seen anything about Getou specifically, but he was indeed removed from a few newer projects, the latest being Mononoke animated movie. He was the original seiyuu for Kusuriuri but the project removes him because the Mononoke movie was about women being abused in Ooku castle; not a proper place to cast him considering his current scandal.
For Getou, alternatively, I think I can see Midorikawa Hikaru since their voice are of similar archetype

THE FIGHTING YOWAI...... THE FIGHTING YOWAI IS REAL
youtube
I... maybe be stupid because when I got to that scene my brain rapidly flicked between "BABY TOTOKO FLASHBACK...? TOTOKO BABY SIBLING...? TOTOKO'S FAMILY FRIEND NEW BABY...?" until Sof (my bf whom I was watching it with) piped up "TOTOKO'S BROTHER???" he says he's more of a casual Ososan fan and is mostly invested in Kara as a character and supporting his gf's special interest but still picks up on details like that before said gf. his brain is enormous (like his d
when I saw that this movie was directed by Hikaru Yamaguchi who started her career as an animator on Deen Higurashi I joked "this movie better have punishment games and time loops" but I was surprised when it DID kinda turn into a time loop story in the last 15 minutes or so, or at least Totoko tries to turn it into one but Reality Ensues? I think my only major problem with the movie was how that interesting idea wasn't fleshed out particularly well, and they don't explain how they broke out of their "time loop" at all - they do imply Totoko, Matsuyo and DekaDayon came out of the experience making small positive changes in their lives but they don't SHOW them coming to the conclusion that they SHOULD. it felt like the movie skipped the big emotional climax and cut right from a random exterior shot to the denouement
that said, even if the movie stumbled at the last hurdle I did really enjoy 90% of it - I'm a Hipipo apologist but I do think TakoPa is the FUNNIER movie, with super snappy comedic pacing and jokes coming thick and fast (...heh) as opposed to Hipipo's meandering pace and repetitive jokes, only really finding its comedic footing about halfway through when there's a timeskip indicated by the Matsus getting their tans (and stumbling a bit even then). just like my favourite parts of Hipipo were the boys bonding and vibing with the tribe, my favourite parts of TakoPa were the whole Akatsuka Ward gang just hanging out and having fun, each getting their little moments to shine but ultimately being one big, very weird found family
come to think of it Hipipo and TakoPa kinda feel like two sides of the same coin: people are inevitably gonna have preferences but ultimately, it's a good thing that last year gave us a movie for people who love the broad, cartoony, larger-than-life aspects of the show (hello) while this year gave us one for those love the down-to-Earth, slice-of-life aspects. I think that's a better way to celebrate Osomatsu-san's 6th anniversary even if this year is its 8th anniversary but the official Twitter still says TakoPa is for the 6th so just go with it (and, coincidentally, Osomatsu-kun's 60th anniversary) than giving us one big movie that tries to be too many things at once and fails at all of them (...like the time they already did that. this is a certified Eiga no Osomatsu-san (2019) hate blog.) I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen anything about a double feature screening of both in Japan because that would just feel so right
one of the few things Hipipo and TakoPa have in common is some nice moments of wordless storytelling: Hipipo had the three montages of the Matsus interacting with the tribe and TakoPa's opening 10 minutes are almost dialogue-less, save for some background character chatter and an "itadakimasu" from Oso. both could be seen as a budget-saving measure to get around the expensive seiyuu cast, but they also work as an artistic choice - if they commit to the bit and make s4 into a straight-up silent comedy as a way to resolve the issue of the title character's iconic voice actor being a scumbag, I'll be all for it tbh
as enjoyable as TakoPa is, it's still ultimately an hour long bottle episode, with only previously established locations and characters (Nyaa's daughter gets more screentime than ever before to the point where she FEELS like a new character, and an absolutely precious one at that, but her existence WAS pre-established in s3) and taking place mostly in the main characters' home - not inherently bad, but an odd choice for possibly the last piece of "mainline" media in a franchise. the only thing that kept it from being completely underwhelming in that regard was some smart meta commentary that the Japanese fandom also picked up on so it definitely wasn't just me projecting: Totoko (we, the fans) wanted to keep the party (show) going forever in order to escape her (our) cruel reality and feelings of inadequacy, even at the cost of making her friends (the staff) burnt out as fuck. I find it deeply meaningful that the party did, in fact, end (even if they glossed over HOW), and they didn't give the movie a surreal, nihilistic ending like so many episodes of the show - if Totoko can continue to work on her idol career, Dekapan can find new animal friends even after the death of old ones (nice oblique reference to his love for cats in -kun!!!) and Matsuyo can reach out to other women around her own age, maybe we too can find meaning in this world even if the sextuplets can't. I wonder how much of the script was written before vs. after the Sakurai scandal sealed the show's fate (maybe)...
come to think of it, a good succinct way to describe Totoko in this movie is as the character I WISH Takahashi had been: a vessel for us, the fans', feelings towards the Matsus who ACTIVELY tries to affect the characters' world in ways that challenge both them and the viewer, rather than a passive damsel waiting for them at the end. you go TakoPa Totoko four for you TakoPa Totoko
back in November when I'd watched all three Ososan movies that existed at the time - Eiga no Osomatsu-san (2019), Eiga Osomatsu-san (2022) (the live-action one, yeah it's confusing) and Hipipo - I thought Hipipo, despite its flaws, was my favourite of the franchise's movies. I felt the same way immediately after the credits of TakoPa finished rolling... but as I went around unblocking Japanese Matsutwitter accounts now I no longer have to worry about spoilers, I found a poll that kinda made me rethink everything??? for nearly a year I'd been operating under the theory that the Western Ososan fanbase just "didn't get" Hipipo and that the show's true target audience of Japanese adults who'd grown up with Osokun would validate my positive feelings towards the movie - but that poll made me question if said positive feelings were just a result of the context in which I saw Hipipo for the first time (unspoiled, reacting to it along with the man I love, and by my own power instead of Crunchyroll's). regardless of whether or not I SHOULD, I now feel kind of apologetic to the Japanese fandom for insisting that the Western fandom "just didn't get it" while forgetting that oh wait, I'M a Western fandom. at this precise moment I'm not sure how I feel about the 6th anniversary movies overall; maybe it's still a case where one is "objectively better" than the other but I still prefer the "worse" one for personal reasons? is that allowed??? or maybe I don't passionately love OR hate either of them the way I passionately love the TV show and passionately hate Eiga (2019). maybe it's too soon to properly assess my feelings and I should rewatch the two back to back in a few months/a year, idk
but I will say this: of the four movies, three of them made me cry on first viewing (Eiga with sadness, live-action with laughter at one particular scene, and Hipipo with joy, also at one particular scene). TakoPa was the only Ososan movie to NOT make me cry - I guess by that metric it's the most "meh" of the four, at least for my taste, but still a worthwhile entry in the franchise and a satisfying note to (possibly) end it on
Ichi NEEDS to catsit for DekaDayon

The Marginal Service Episode 12 + Final Thoughts: Marginal Explosion
The final episode felt like it had too much to fit in. At least the ending is happy. I think the best thing about this episode is the happy ending.
Tumblr media
Why I think it feels like too much is the fact that we get actual aliens and the reveal that the UN are the true enemies. Then, the Marginal Service come in. Then, the Borderlanders come in. Zeno finally reunites with his son and then Brian and Zeno go fight the mothership. See? Sounds crazy, right?
Like I mentioned in my review for the previous episode, the UN are the true villains. It also turns out that the guy with the mustache has been doing this because he’s afraid of aliens. He was the guy in the movie that Brian saw back in Episode 2; what a surprise. While what he did is bad, I don’t like the fact that he gets brushed off to the side as the real aliens come in as threats. Fortunately, he still gets punished.
The aliens feel like last-minute additions because they’re here to give Borderlanders some purpose and to be seen as good people. It turns out that everything the Marginal Service has been trying to uncover regarding Rubber’s organization has been to fight aliens. The main Borderlanders featured throughout the show come in to fight. I’m glad that Isabella is back. She’s so hot. Also, Rubber’s guitar is also a gun. HE HAS A GUITAR GUN!
The reunion between Zeno and his son Noah was heartwarming. I was surprised Noah was still able to recognize his father even after ten years. I’m also glad that the kidnapped kids actually aged, but Noah looks rather tiny for a fifteen year old. I’m assuming he didn’t get enough nutrients being stuck in there.
The battle between Brian and Zeno against the mothership was kind of weird. Like, how did Zeno managed to get changed and jump onto the top of that UFO? Like, how is Brian able to control the freaking UFO and knows where to shoot? I also kind of knew these two weren’t going to die because they’re the main characters. It’d also be a waste to have Zeno and Noah reunite and then have Zeno die.
At least everyone’s happy in the end. Immigrants are getting equal rights. The Marginal Service members are back to their daily lives. Theodore got his occult goods back. Zeno and Noah finally become family again with Brian occasionally visiting and making Zeno jealous because he’s an overprotective dad. The Borderlanders are also happy with Rubber Suit having a small concert in prison and the other Borderlander prison mates are having a good time with his performance.
All is happy, I guess. This anime was okay at best. It’s something I wouldn’t ever recommend. I’d only suggest this if you are a seiyuu fan. The voice actors all deserve a raise to being the only reason this anime managed to stay afloat.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I’ll be honest. This anime’s not that great. It’s only saving grace is the voice cast. Why cast such high quality voice actors for a show like this? The voice actors did the very best to make this anime stay afloat.
If there are good qualities, it’s that the anime was creative with how they used Borderlanders and Aliens for the sci-fi aspects. I did like how Borderlanders and such were a bit of a mystery that eventually got resolved in the end.
I also liked some of the characters. I liked Cyrus, Lyra, Rubber Suit and Isabella. The rest feels too one note. Brian’s okay since he got some development. Robin and Bolts also feel too one-note. The only character I dislike is Zeno. Others are just there or kind of forgettable.
The opening and ending songs are another saving grace. Mamoru Miyano and Yuma Uchida’s vocals are top notch. The opening and ending songs are the some of the few I never skip. Uchida’s rapping skills are great too.
I will repeat: the only good thing about this anime is the voice cast. That’s all. I only watched this because of the voice cast. They’re so good for such a bad anime. Like, when are you ever going to hear Kouki Uchiyama, the king of stoic anime men, use a gremlin voice again? When are you ever going to hear Mamoru Miyano click his tongue constantly again?
I wanted to like this anime and I did sometimes. All I can say is that no one should watch this unless they’re bored or watch anime for voice actors. That’s it. This anime gets a 3/10 for me. It’s a three because the voice actors saved this explosion of a show.
Marginal Explosion, everybody!

I'm excited for DigiFes 2023...!!
All the guest list (voice actors/seiyuu and musical artists) members that are going to attend this year...
Let's go full 02 cast!!! Yay!!!
Ok, sometimes I don't know what I'm writing, but then again, well I'm pretty much excited! :D
But I guess that I got to have to admit that I probably won't be able to see this event in-person (pain). Also so far, no information for a streaming segment for this...
On an unrelated note: Sometimes I gotta think about how there's 5 Idolmaster seiyuu in the main cast for this movie (lol). And 2 Assassination Classroom seiyuu too... (in which one of the Idolmaster seiyuu also voiced a character in Assassination Classroom.)
