Recruiting for Literate+ 1x1 Sefikura(Sephiroth x Cloud) Discord RPs!
Accepting multiple 1x1 slots
I'm looking for a partner to play as Cloud in a 1x1 Sefikura RP with me. On special occasions, I will be willing to roleplay as Cloud, but I am more accustomed to writing Sephiroth as he has been my muse for over 5 years, and he is my favorite character of all time.
Rules:
1. You must be 18 or older.
2. I am an advanced literate roleplayer. Thus, you must at least be a literate roleplayer with fluent English, even if it is not your first language. I do not roleplay with people who write in script or at the semi-literate rp level, and I do not rp in any other languages.
3. You must be okay with mature, darker themes, swearing and blood. This is not to be confused with ERP, though it is permitted if we both consent, and as long as that is not the sole purpose of the entire rp. I just enjoy more mature themes and when the rp is taken seriously.
4. You must be able to be active, and don't ghost me if you lose interest. If you cannot be active, don't message me at all. I do not want to be in an rp where I am left waiting for a reply for days, weeks, or months on end, as that is not fun at all. If you get busy, just let me know, and I will wait for you, but if it takes longer than 2 weeks for you to get back to me, I will leave.
5. You don't have to be perfect at roleplaying Cloud, but please have a thorough enough understanding of his character.
6. You must be able to help me develop a plot. This is a group effort, after all! While I do have many plot ideas, they are very vague and will need to be expanded on by both of us.
7. The roleplay will take place on Discord, but I will only be handing out my discord handle to people who have messaged me on here first, so be sure to dm me here if you're interested.
8. This can take place in canonverse or an AU. I do not mind either way as long as we can have fun.
9. Please be direct with me.
10. Know how to differentiate reality from fiction. If you are not okay with me roleplaying as a man despite being a woman, I do not suggest we roleplay. On another note, just because I may like to rp a specific topic, it does not mean I believe it is okay in reality.
If you are still interested after reading my rules, go ahead and message me with any rules & triggers you may have! Optionally, I would like to see an rp sample, too, but that is not required. I will send an rp sample upon request as well.
If we end up being compatible after talking a bit on here, I will send you my Discord handle and ask you to friend me on there so we can start roleplaying!

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction ( roleplay ) ?
Both, actually, I got into around the same time for the same fandom, and also kind of for the same reason! The good, age old reason of 'I love this story and this character, LET ME SELF INSERT'. So, my first RPs were literally just me and my best friend and fellow fan of this obscure ass anime playing our RL selves and also, taking on each others favorite characters to romance lol. As for my fanfiction, it was very much mary sue 'everything depends on you and you're the chosen one AND you have all our powers, avatar style, AAAAND your fave is fated to fall in love with you'. It was my beginning, guys, don't worry, I pay my penance by rereading and cringing now and again lmao.
🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
Welp, since this says SHIPS and not SHIP, I think I'll give a headcanon for a few ships. Top three are my main FF7 ships, each of which I am currently working on one passion project fic each (Strifentine one is currently one chapter up! available on ao3!), and then two more are because they're some of my extra faves that I've been exploring on here with a great partner!
Strifentine: This has actually been explored in RP with a brilliant partner, and will be explored in the fic, but Cloud makes it a point with Vincent to interact with and understand the others within him, affectionately deemed Headmates. Vincent has spent too many years thinking them either burdened or fellow monsters locked in a cramped cell, when not just trying to completely ignore them. And that has been Vincent's choice, at times, because of his judgment of himself and others. But, he has grown to realize, with Cloud's support, he does not truly hate them. They're just as stuck as he is, they were just as violated as he was, and though they do not live traditionally and much at all now while inside him (just barely living when they take over his body), they are still conscious beings. And so Cloud makes an effort to ask about them, to be aware of them, to help Vincent be aware of them, and when Vincent feels willing to allow them free in a healthier form, IE not due to battle, Cloud is there to greet them and simply be there with them, to keep company, to interact, and if they get out of control, to keep them under control. It has helped them all grow into a more comfortable, balanced existence, though it's not without it's complicated times.
Sephesis: maybe not a normal headcanon, since it branches into What If scenarios. But, still. It is my firm belief, even if to some it seems like they must be doomed by the narrative and in that they could never communicate and reconcile properly, HOWEVER. Say they weren't lol. If the Nibelheim incident had gone another way, either pre fire, or post fire, and Sephiroth and Genesis had time to face once another again, get out grievances but also have a chance to apologize if they weren't so stubborn, I think we can all agree Sephiroth would have given his cells. If he was back in a place to see Genesis as the friend he cared for and had been losing, if he could recognize their situation more clearly without the trauma making it far more negative, and if he could believe it would save him and not make them both more monstrous, he would not have hesitated. Genesis was one of the single most important people in his life, and there were many stages in their time together that he would give everything just for them to be side by side, and Genesis RECOGNIZE they were side by side, equals. Sephiroth would have done anything to hold on to Genesis, if he hadn't been in such a state where his mind and heart was made to believe everything he had once held onto was dead, gone, or a lie.
Sefikura: In complicated scenarios, unhealthy as they can be, even if it were a scenario where Sephiroth was returned and could live a balanced life, however he might have to atone, with Cloud, they both still have a puppet issue. More often than not it is a subject of distrust and discomfort because of the risks it poses. But Cloud can't deny the bliss that can come with giving over to another's control completely, to not have to be responsible for who and what he is, and Sephiroth of course clings to the power because if he controls the one he loves, they can never leave him. And on the flip side, in scenarios where it was ever possible (stretch of canon possibility of course), in scenarios of Cloud's jenova cells becoming stronger or even just his influence as Sephiroth's anchor in returning to existence being a part of it, though Cloud would not enjoy enacting the power too often, Sephiroth has a weakness for it. Cloud isn't the only one who could enjoy the sweet release of loosing control, if only Sephiroth could give that control to someone he trusts wholly. Someone who could end him if need be, and love him against all reason. To be under Cloud's control, to be in his grip, it is a very complicated euphoria.
Rufus/Reno: It takes a great deal of time, trauma, closeness, complications, and finally balance between the two of them but Rufus is the only one to know some of the most important things about him. Few others know it all. About his name, his brother, and his mother. Tseng knows his former name, Tseng knows about his brother and Rude knows a gist about his complicated family crap and a few more details about his brother. But Rufus is the only one that Reno finds himself willing to confess the gritty details to. The details that aren't just for clarity of the job, or for mental assessments. The details that could be shared, between the two of them, for the sake of sharing and relating. Because they're both just boys who's families were hell and fell apart, and they're just doing their best to make the most of themselves, despite being sad boys at heart, angry at their failed parents and morning the loss of one.
Rufus/AU-Vincent: In this AU, Vincent is forced to train in Deepground to better his control of his 'beasts', especially Chaos, but all the while to teach those in Deepground close to his level in monstrosity, IE the Tsviets. He is a multipurpose tool of ShinRa at this point, mostly owned by Hojo, as in he can tug his leash at any time, but he loans him off back to the Turks most of the time, unless he needs 'retraining', to which he is either brought back to secure labs in Deepground for conditioning and refining that involves tampering with his memory at times, or he's thrown back in to training with the Tsviets, or both. Given this, he is very much a slave to his emotions and so he has to restrain them often. If he looses control, he looses control of them, and finds himself in Hojo's grasp again. So when he's been working as Rufus' body guard long enough (as he is pulled away from said duty a few times for different reasons, more so before Rufus is every VP much less president). But in his time with Rufus, as his complicated nature and how he is forced ot deal with it is made more clear to Rufus, the VP and eventual president begins working to expand training options. Better ways to keep his emotions level. Better ways to assess the nature of those within him and how to cater to taming each, or using them. And working through all the control Hojo has. It's a subtle mission, but with Rufus' help, by the time he's president, he is already working Vincent out of Hojo's clutches, though there is always risk and dread. However, Rufus greatest ally is also the greatest threat of Vincent's beast. Given Vincent's training, Chaos is the strongest, smartest, and most self aware and able to take control. And with training and focus, he is intent on overriding Hojo's tools of manipulation. But his chaotic nature and hidden motives are as much a threat to Rufus as anyone else. It takes winning him over, to some level of mutual trust through mutual gain, that they will override Hojo.

I am going to assume you're asking about ships I have partook in. I do not really involve myself in the fandoms I roleplay (like forums, twitter, reading fanfictions or watching videos), so I wouldn't know what people outside of my own sphere of involvement ship. Anyways with this premise...
I believe Sephiroth is the one I have written the most ships with. Which is not a lot, if you can believe it? Most of my RP partners haven't gotten to ship with me because of how slow I am in my approach to chemistry building.
With Sephiroth I have at least two ships established, which is my highest record for a single muse so far. I know, not a lot. Told you I'm Mr. Slow Burn!

Sefikura Hannibal AU Ideas ->
~As Hannibal is in series, Sephiroth would be a manipulating fucker who sees Cloud as a weak, defenseless individual who he can warp the will of to do whatever he desires. He'd offer to "help" Cloud overcome is mental hurdles, but really be damaging him more, creating a killer out of him as well.
~Sephiroth is in fact a skilled psychologist who desires to help only those he sees as worthy. Most people never spark an interest whether that be sexually or emotionally. Those without connections to family and friends get turned into his next meal. But when a mentally distraught Cloud is recommended to him, as everyone else can't seem to help him, find a cure, or have a clue what's wrong with him, Sephiroth takes the patient under his wing and gets attached easily. He actually does attempt to help Cloud and figure out what's wrong while simultaneously accidentally falling in love with him. He tells Cloud that if they keep their relationship going, Cloud cannot be with anyone else and cannot tell a single other soul about what Sephiroth does since he couldn't hide his murderous, cannibalistic side forever. Cloud would eventually become Sephiroth's captive. If willing, a "healthy" relationship would pursue. If Cloud refused, he would be forced to stay with Sephiroth regardless in his basement being bound and gagged and be basically a sex slave to Sephiroth. Either that, or Cloud would meet the same fate most of his victims did; murdered and eventually served on a dinner plate.
~A normal, peaceful AU where Cloud has mental issues no one can figure out so he's recommended to a psychologist who's specializes in severe mental issues. Again, they become attached after some time and have a normal, happy life with no cannibalization and no murder and no death!!!

i’m not very good at navigating the rp scene on tumblr and i’m too private for a dedicated character blog, but man i really want to find someone to rp ff7 with! particularly sephiroth x cloud if i’m being honest.
i feel like i’m throwing a bottle into the ocean, but… let me know if you are interested or can help me out in my search. i am:

I use Google Docs! @scatterpatter and I rp a lot and have a ton of history rping together, enough to develop a private rp system over the years. We started out on Deviant Art rping a long time ago through comments, but… that got a little tedious with all the comment chains fhjsdhfjks
Basically I just create a doc, share it with my friend so that he can edit it, and then we make an rp chain that looks more like an elaborate story than anything else. We comment out of character/chat stuff up above and do the writing down below. It’s pretty fun, actually! It’s not a proper rp setup or group or anything though, I have no experience with those at all. If that was what you were looking for then I can’t help you fdsuifgysdgfysdgfs sorry broski :(

Oof, it’s gonna be hard to pick just 5... lol. I’ll do my best but these ships will be blog specific, I hope that’s okay~
Also under a readmore because I have a tendancy to ramble on like a mad woman about this sort of thing xD They are also in no particular order.
1 - Sefikura - Now I understand that this ship is not everyone’s bag. But both Cloud and Sephiroth are absolute faves of mine, (Almost equal in fact, and the only reason I didn’t take Sephiroth up as a muse myself was because I know that I wouldn’t be able to do his character justice lol) so I suppose that it was sort of a natural thing for me that I’d ship these two together, however there are 2 blogs that my Cloud has romantic/sexual connections with so I’ll talk about both of them here.
@blackwinged-silversolace - Firstly, the way in which Nemain writes her Sephiroth is nothing short of INCREDIBLE and if you ain’t following then you need to get on that pronto! But this particular ship hits all the buttons I have for the typical toxic and domineering relationship that’s happening here. Less a romance than it is a means of control over a lesser power. But also there’s conflict within them both which I absolutely love. Cloud attempting to fight an insatiable craving to simply give in to Sephiroth’s call to arms in his fight to obliterate the world as they know it, and ultimately failing. And Sephiroth’s battle against what he feels he wants and what he knows he NEEDS. It’s just a concoction of abject co-dependency that neither of them truly want but slip into anyway and I just adore how much power this relationship holds when it comes to battling against forces much stronger than they are. I love it!
@neko-mun-rp - Unlike the above, this ship could possibly the polar opposite, where Sephiroth has caused so much damage but found the strength to vanquish the demon controlling him and work on becoming a better man despite the devastation he’s already caused. Cloud has the ability, in this ship, to see past the monster Sephiroth once was and fall for the man that he was always meant to be in the light of Seph’s redemption. Because Cloud knew him once, before Jenova assumed control and he now feels he has a sort of responsibility to aid Sephiroth climb out of his despair and lead the life he’d once always dreamed of. I had my reservations about this sort of ship actually working for me, but it just... did, and I am absolutely here for it!
2 - Cloti.
@oflockhearted - I’m gonna be super honest here okay? I’m a bit fussy with my Tifa’s because Cloti can sometimes cause a little bit of contention depending on how people want to view this relationship in canon. Cloud did not treat her very well, I understand and accept that he made a few errors of judgement and perhaps took advantage of the fact that Tifa would always be a constant in his life. I get it, I don’t need reminding, but he did have his reasons, and those reasons were also valid. But with this ship in particular, I feel like Cloud can... I dunno... let himself go a bit. There was no true build up for this romance to work, the pair of them just sort of fell into the pattern on their own and I feel like they mesh together perfectly. Because Cloud still has his moments of doubt and feels that Tifa could do so much better than him. But she’s always there, building him up and making him stronger and I like to think that he does the same for her when she needs reminding that she’s amazing~
3 - Cloud and Maru
@primalvessel - Okay, so this was possibly the first proper established ship that I gained here and one that I feel so invested in that it has to be one of my all time faves. These two, initially, seem like a bit of an “Odd Couple” given that Cloud is quite a solitary creature, a lil sombre and a bit recluse where as Maru is the polar opposite of this with his playful, bubbly and excitable nature. They met under some rather extenuating circumstances, and Cloud somehow helped Maru get away from a life of slavery even if he did that in a roundabout way. But I think that in doing so, you know, giving Maru that push rather than just taking him by the hand and leading him away, that he forced Maru to gain his own footing which furthered the respect Maru has for Cloud as a whole. But, of course, the more time they started to spend together after coming into contact again after that instance, feelings started to develop. Because there’s something about Maru that brings out the best in Cloud, he forces him to see the brighter side of any given situation, and of course, who doesn’t like a soft kitty purring on their lap of an evening? 4 - Clerith
@pulchralilium - I had my reservations about this ship for a long time, NOT because I like Cloti and have that irritatingly immature view that one cancels out the other (THEY’RE NOT REAL PEOPLE. JUST SHIP WHAT YOU LIKE OKAY?!) but due to both Cloud and Aerith’s close connections to Zack. There was something a lil too convoluted about the implications there that made me feel that they could never really work as a couple. Boy... was I wrong. This ship has torn my heart in two, in all honesty, because both of them are so strong but in different ways which makes them, possibly, the ultimate POWER couple. Where Cloud’s strength lies mostly in the physical, Aerith is so emotionally powerful that they compliment one another so well, that, as a unit, they sort of become this glorious WHOLE. Interactions on wire have helped me see just how good they are together, how much Aerith adores him and just how protective he is over her. Because Cloud is Aerith’s shield, and ain’t nothing getting to her without getting through him first! So much love for Clerith, so so much~
5 - Cleifer (Cloud x Seifer)
@hyperionswrath - Just throwing this one out there now because, again, I have so much love for the toxic, manipulative and controlling ship. Though despite all those negatives I’ve just listed, there is NOTHING non-consensual about this relationship. Seifer likes to think he has absolute control over how this relationship develops, and to a degree he does, but Cloud is there of his own conviction. It’s an unlikely match considering the popularity that is StrifeHart, but this, for me at least, really works for these two. A romance built on hatred and resentment that boils over and becomes something new, something intense and exciting that both of them just want more and more AND MORE... ugh... I live for this, and I would be lying if I said that I didn’t think about these two a whole FUCKING LOT!
