hey, big long rant about the SCU (specifically about the fandom after the 100 days video) incoming, beware!! This may seem a bit harsh to some, but I've been bottling this up since march and I need to say it or else I'll shatter.
I, for the most part, love fandoms, they're great! They make content, they write things, they encourage the creators to keep doing what they love etc etc. and the SCU fandom is no different, it's really cool what they do, and I love everything about it, just... I didn't like what happened after charlie released the 100 days video.
The video was awesome, I loved it, and this rant isn't about it.
I'm frustrated with the fact that everyone seemed to only focus on Tommy's parts. Everywhere I looked it was zombie tommyinnit, and only him, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that! make content about whoever you want, I can't stop you! It's just that it wasn't his video, and everyone was treating it like it was.
Now, I may be overreacting about something that happened, almost a year ago, and it's calmed down now. but I remember wanting to see the other characters, too. There were so many, and I barely saw ANY of them aside from Tommy.
I get that seeing your favourite CC in a video on another channel is fun, but I really wish that people could see past the bigger Minecraft YouTuber.
anyways, sorry for being a grumpy old boomer about a British 18-year-old boy who plays Minecraft, I wanted to get this out there, please make creators feel seen, it's really important.

I will never get over how SCU!Tommy is infinitely better than DSMP!Dream.
SCU!Tommy succeeded in his plan in 100 days, because SCU!Charlie died on day 101.
DSMP!Dream has won many times over in wars and mental torment, but ultimately lost in the server ambush and getting out in prison. He may have gotten out but it took him far longer than SCU!Tommy.
SCU!Tommy destroyed several worlds within 100 known days. He ruined the one he went to, by entering it and tampering with the virus in order to become Patient Zero. He ruined the one SCU!Charlie woke up in for obvious reasons. He also ruined the ending world, which is probably the world he went to to begin with.
DSMP!Dream has only blown up a single country and damaged almost nothing else. He set off the dynamite in the early days, encouraged Wilbur to blow it up a second time, and he finished it off in Doomsday.
DSMP!Dream has nothing on SCU!Tommy
