please don't delete your works or cut all creativity related to wilburs works. he is not his characters. you liked a character he made years ago, and thats okay. you are not supporting him by keeping up old fanfic and posts you've made.

personally, lovejoy has inspired a lot of my own creative work and I can't bring myself to remove them from the many many playlist's ive made. (and honestly i don't want to get into music artist discourse about endorsing them by listening to them, because thats a whole ballpark)

i will not be watching or following anything to do with him in the future, and i feel upset about how so much of my work has been influenced by his. but I can't just throw it all out to make myself feel better. please be kind to yourself in this time

i wish nothing but positivity and good people for shelby.

my mind keeps circling back to "my silence was his peace" because that only proves truer by the hour. i am overflowing with respect for shubble; the amount of bravery and vulnerability it must take to put yourself in a position to be a catalyst like that is staggering. wishing her nothing but peace and happiness from here on out.

To clarify and not derail.

"There may be more victims. A victim speaking out is difficult and not always safe..victims may not realize they are victims until others speak out" are all statements that can coexist "people who enable abusers by not speaking out/continuing to support the abuser or downplay their actions do in fact create a culture of harm".

I say this because for my experiences of abuse. People who were complicit in both via silence when i was abused or enabled the abuse/kept it in very private only verbal conversations so as to not hold anyone accountable (administration/high up people) did in fact harm me. It is important that silence be about those that have been called to foe voice by victims who contributed to this environment and misogyny while also respecting the first quote about victims.

Who up feeling bad that art you poured your heart and soul into is now doomed forever due to evil people masquerading as decent people even though you had nothing but good intentions?

Actually, before I log off for the day, I will say, please don't go labelling Wilbur a narcissist or trying to armchair diagnose him with any cluster B disorders. Having NPD doesn't make someone abusive. Being abusive is what makes someone abusive. By armchair diagnosing an abuser with NPD, it's not only just further stigmatising an already very stigmatised and often misunderstood disorder but also, by framing a mental disorder as "abuser disorder", it almost unintentionally shifts blame away from them as a person and their actions and more towards the mental illness that they may or may not have. This isn't to excuse anything Wilbur's done. Just please keep in mind, people with NPD aren't inherently abusive. Wilbur isn't an abuser because he's a "narcissist", he's an abuser because he's abused people
