Finished promo image for Dungeon Crawler Carl. If you’re a fan of my comic The Space Odditorium, you’ll love this book series. It’s the kind of absurd scifi that I love. Available in book and audiobook format. I definitely recommend. #illustration #illustrationart #scifiillustration #scifiart #scififantasy #postapocalypse #postapocalyptic #coverart #promoart #audiobook #comicstyleart #comicart #comicbookart #art https://www.instagram.com/p/CgzwB9pPqve/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

This time I post something different than usual. My sci-fi hyperfixation is back and I have the urge to create a cryptid hunters club. From left to right there is Berry, the boy in the center is Timothy and the girl's name is Erica. ✨
Tell me what you think of the vibes of this drawing and if you are also fond of aliens and mysterious things 👽🛸
Another illustration for the free-to-play RPG Destiny of Celtara. This time it's a hacker, a staple of any technologically advanced setting. I had a lot of freedom to design the character itself with only specs for the technology used - much is miniaturised and/or implanted, so my initial designs with headphones and glasses were revised for less obvious tech. The data sphere was created in Blender and added to the illustration with Color Dodge and Linear Dodge layers.

Tex previewed this art ages ago. Here is the full, finished piece. One of the first illustrations I created for the episode. Lots of Draconis themed art this time around.
It's Cloud Town Tuesday. The day I post an image from my graphic novel and talk about the process of making it!
As proud as I am of the standard Cloud Town cover, there is a secret version hidden beneath the book jacket on the hardcover edition that has a special place in my heart. While there were dozens of drafts and compromises involved with the creation of the primary cover, this "case" cover was done on an extremely short deadline. This means there was no time to do anything but print the illustration exactly the way I drew it. There's an alarming amount of "hurry up and wait" in the publishing business and often the moments with the biggest time crunch produce some of the most interesting results.
We will talk more about that next week when we discuss "end pages."
