I’m having a bit of trouble with the Alexander dlc, I followed the instructions on where to put the files but he’s just gone. My game is 1.0.0.7 so it should work

The latest version is 1.1.0 (as of March 4th). You’ll need to update. Even if you got him to appear on 1.0.0.7, the game will crash without the latest version due to other changes.

Make sure your file is “.rpa” filetype (don’t unzip it or anything) and within the folder named “game” inside Particles of Reality.

If none of that helps, please email me at [email protected] with a screenshot of your game folder, screenshot of your Settings with the version number, and where/how you bought and installed the game, and mac/windows.

If you’re using the Itch.io client to update/install the game, I put up a post earlier today about a fix for the file missing after download.

i was wondering how to get those ending where you cant click on the other choice. you can only click the one apparently available. like the one in Sebastian's route where the mc found his collection or julian's route where we can not choose to kill the person in his basement. is there a way to unlock them?

There are walkthroughs available on the main menu. You can also see these same walkthrough images on the Steam guide forms. And the requirements are listed on the ‘Endings’ tab in-game.

I understand that it’s still in the beta but will Sebastian and Alexander get sprites for when they’re young? It’s a bit jarring to see an adult sprite next to a young Monika talking about romance XD

Wish I could, but probably not. They didn’t get childhood sprites during the main game development due to budget restrictions. Now that Alex’s route is under development, the artists who did sprites for both adult and child versions are no longer doing commissions due to their own real-life obligations.

The story where the twins are teens (14+) and Monika/Brandon are children (<13) are short scenes in Brandon and Alexander’s openings exclusively.

Once Monika and Brandon hit that age threshold of 14, they also switch to their adult sprites. So I’ve been using that age threshold of once they are “teens”, their adult sprites are in use for all characters.

The sequel Remembrance won’t be using any of the characters < 18 years of age.

So since those sprites would be very little actual use if made, I’d focusing the game funds on new CGs for Alexander’s route.
