Report Card Day at Kirameki Elementary (open rp)
Taiyou-sensei had a special surprise for the kids. It was time for their first report cards. They’ll get to see what they excel at and what they can improve on.
“Good morning, everyone! I have a surprise for you kids today! It’s the end of the first quarter, so you’ll be getting your first report cards!” He took out envelopes with the kids’ names on them.
“What’s a wepot cawd?” Hikari asked him.
“A report card has letters on it in front of each of your classes. These letters tell you if you did good or if you need to work harder in that class.” He smiled and passed out the report cards. “Your parents can put them on the fridge to show how proud they are of you.”
Hikari smiled and opened her report card.
“The letters go in order from A-F. A means Great Job! B means Good. C means Ok. D means needs work. And F means we can try harder. So don’t be sad if you get an F. These grades are to help you learn and improve.” He smiled.
Hikari looked at her report card. An A in math. An A in Arts and Crafts. An A in Gym. An A in Social Skills. An A in Music. And an A in Science. But she got a B in Reading and Writing.
“Hikari awmost got aww As.”
“Sorry, kiddo. I noticed you struggle with reading and writing, so we’ll work together to help you get better.” He said reassuringly.
EK chuckled. “I thought she’d get an F. She can’t even read a Cat in the Hat.” And this is why he got an F in social skills.
“EK, that’s not nice! Go to the naughty bench!”
He grumbled and went to the naughty bench.
Hikari sniffled and went to the calm down corner, crying.

hello hello 🕊 twenty, she/her, here in search of other 18+, adv.lit–novella writers interested in creating a small, tight-knit grp of 4 — 6 people on discord. this ad is targeted towards detailed writers, with an interest in character building, found family/twisted entanglements including friendship/enmity/romance, darker themes, plot development, and arcs. this is for those who may usually write 1x1's, but want to try out grp for a change in what will hopefully be a small, cosy, relaxed group of like-minded peers <3.
ideally, there will be one main rp plot and thread for the 'main characters' overarching storyline. furthermore, side threads where the ocs are on other adventures are all encouraged, as are text threads, side ocs, alt-verses, friendship side-quests, shipping threads, and parallel 1x1 threads (set in the same world). to surmise, there will be one main plot with an adv.lit–novella literacy minimum, but you can all create various threads set in the same world/with the same ocs that may not be as lengthy and for these threads, the literacy can be lit/semi-lit or lower.
this grp is NOT a case of 'i create the plot alone and carry it on my back, and you have no input at all'. the grp will be jointly created, and the plot will be jointly developed from a range of base options that i'll offer, so it will be a shared collaboration at its heart. the base plot options utilise the genres of: dark academia (university setting, mind games) // white-collar crime (casino setting, high stakes) // horror – folie a deux edition (small town setting). other themes will include psychological horror, moral dilemmas, and philosophical explorations.
the ocs' age range will span from 19–25, no younger and no older. brainstorms, headcanons, aesthetics, memes, tiktoks, and pinboards will be welcomed and encouraged ! ghosting is discouraged with hiatuses as an exception to the rule. the gist is if you do not contribute, then you may be replaced. though, after we're settled, activity checks will be lax, and as long as you're active in at least ooc and shorter threads, then you're fine.
final note that if you like this ad, i will be asking for an rp sample of yours, info on what gender you'd like to write as in this rp, what pairings you're open to, and a triggers list. this is to ensure the 'likeminded' aspect of the grp is intact and to ensure we're all compatible in the ways that matter.

little dark age is a semi-private dark academia roleplay hosted on jcink. we have 40 canons, including members of the secret society jessica was last seen with, a group of professors with a dark secret, and the student newspaper crew prying into it all. rumors are rife in twin rivers, so through blackmail and random intervention, whoever it is running jessica's instagram is hellbent on exposing the truth of what's happened to her - and if any other secrets come to light in the process, so be it!

hey all! I'm a 22M, looking for an 18+ partner to write on discord. literate to novella, please! absolutely no one-liners. I prefer drawn FCs or descriptions.
so, I'm looking for a boarding school plot. stereotypical, I know. I'd love to write either a plot that focuses on a boarding school for exceptionally smart/gifted students, or students with some sort of special ability (superpower, magic, etc). I tend to write M characters, but I'm willing to write against an M, F, or enby character! we can absolutely work in other genres (murder mystery, adventure, etc.) or tropes (childhood friends, enemies to lovers, etc.) accordingly. Demetrius Kotzias was born in Greece and lived there for most of his life, perhaps he achieved his numerous specializations somewhere else, but his nationality and the fact that he tutored in Athens for a few years is a must.
Dr. Kotzias has an extensive curriculum and numerous specializations in the fields of anatomy and physiology, being a passionate admirer of the human body and all its nuances. He's also passionate about sculpting and has a private atelier where he works on his craft as a hobby outside his daily work.
He is described as a narcissist, in possession of the assets of a classic manipulator: charming, charismatic, easy to befriend, compulsive liar, manipulative and egotistical. He is unapologetic, bold, harming people for his own satisfaction and whenever he sets his eyes on something he wants, nothing can stop him from getting it - even if there's the need of hurting or wounding others in the process.
Demetrius is the type of person who's possessive and obsessive towards those he cares about, if you develop any sort of bond with the man, he'll slowly dig his claws into you until you're completely under his control. Dr. Kotzias is certainly a perfectionist and if something is out of his control, he simply loses his mind until he has it under his grasp.
His relationship with Arian Mohsen Salib began when the other man became his pupil in Athens three years prior, it was only a friendly exchange at first, but soon Arian became his muse and Demetrius developed an unhealthy obsession with the other, determined to be in his life no matter what happened. Of course, there was an age gap between them both and Arian was inexperienced in the matters of love and relationships, so he was unaware of how Demetrius' affections exceeded what was considered normal.
Their relationship was tumultuous and toxic. It's possible that Demetrius never loved Arian, it was possibly an addictive power play where he had full control of him mixed with utter obsession for reasons we can discuss - since i have nothing laid out for that. This can end in two ways or more, since i'm enthusiastic about organic development: either Arian will lose his mind and commit a horrible act just to be free from this man or Demetrius will find another person to obsess over, ultimately detaching from the object of his twisted affection.

it's so insane to think we are celebrating ten years of our little corner of the tumblrsphere today. when walt was created in 2013 i never thought it would have this sort of longevity. i am so, so, SOOO incredibly grateful that we are still around and kicking in 2023. this place has given me some of the greatest memories, i went from 16 to 26 in what feels like a blink of an eye, i’ve met life long friends here that mean the absolute world to me, i’ve laughed, i’ve cried, i’ve scream at 3 am over characters & walt has helped me through my darkest of days. words cannot begin to even describe how lucky i am to have you all and this group. to our members: past, present and future, thank you. without you walt would not be what it is today. thank you for sharing your endless talents, love, friendship, kindness, time and energy. thank you for creating such dynamic characters with intricate backstories, for telling these stories that i love seeing unfold on the dash, thank you for helping us enrich the plot as we near the end of phase two and look beyond the horizon as we keep moving forward and thank you for sticking by us and being part of our family. we are so happy to have here with us. ten years is so wild and certainly not a small feat. today we celebrate walt and all it’s moving parts. today we celebrate us and our little family.

Back to School Welcome Party (open rp)
It was back to school for the kids of Kirameki Elementary. Hikari was super excited to start first grade. Her new teacher, Taiyou-sensei was giving the kids a Welcome Back pizza and ice cream party. He would also give them fun educational games to help them review what they learned in kindergarten.
“Welcome to first grade, everyone! I’m sure we’ll have a remarkable year!” Taiyou smiled and greeted the new first graders.
