I finished the GDI Medium Tank today. Some updated photography is in order, so I'll be reshooting my Command & Conquer collection. The RA2 Allied Harrier jet is on my t-do list, but I need to knock out some Imperial Guard models first.
g pancakes, they’re a semi-successful attempt at making cobble/flagstones for my Nighthaunt bases!
Only semi-successful because I’m not entirely happy with the detail but I’m sure they will look ok after some paint and weathering.
I used the textured rollers from Greenstuff World on a big bit of flattened Milliput. The right hand piece had a large area which looked terrible so I cut it off and started again, which turned into the left hand piece.
Milliput is great but it’s so damn sticky! I wish I could figure a way to flatten it smoothly without my hands, desk and rolling pins becoming covered in the stuff.
I did use grease proof paper this time which helped to protect my work surface and roller to a greater extent. Maybe that’s the way to go.
I’ll likely need a lot more cobblestones to get all the bases done, but this will be a good start.
could you find out how "tall" the player squid or octo forms are relative to the human form if its possible
they're quite large! note that their tentacles and also the whole Dude squashes and stretches so it's not a guaranteed size but yeah, they're basically the same size as the humanoid forms.
Ford Seattle-ite XXI (incl brochure), 1962. Presented at the Century 21 Exposition which formed part of the Seattle World’s Fair (hence the name) a scale model theoretically powered by nuclear fusion. Designed by Alex Tremulis who proposed interchangeable power units so the entire front of the car could be removed. The "compact nuclear propulsion devices" would come in economy form offering perhaps 60hp, up to a high-speed transcontinental unit with in excess of 400hp. It also proposed features that did make it into real cars like computerised navigation and fingertip controls
