Omg omg omg I just discovered your blog because I went looking for Cassidy pics since I'm rewatching preacher for the millionth time and I LOVE this blog??? Joe Gilgun is one of my fave actors and his works are so near and dear to me and I can't believe I didn't discover you sooner!! Do you think you'd ever draw Joe as Dominic from The Infiltrator? If you haven't seen it it's a good movie and he has a decent amount of screentime, but what REALLY impresses me is his insanely good accent work, he sounds truly like he's from Boston. What are spaghetti westerns
basically in the mid-1960s an italian director named Sergio Leone created these movies known as the Dollars Trilogy (the most famous of which being The Good, The Bad and The Ugly) which were basically westerns that followed no rules of reality. the towns looked nearly postapocalyptic and all of the action was accompanied with sweeping orchestral music and larger than life gunfights. the movies were made by italians so the connections to the real world american southwest are tenuous at best, with the frontier taking on the qualities of a mythic fantasy world.
add to that some very ruthless antiheroes and very gruesome violence (most of it is just gruesome for the time but some even now is still pretty intense) and you’ve got this bizarre otherworldly west of chaos and deceit that’s just endlessly fascinating

I'm Keeping This One
Yes, I know. It's based off the Indiana Jones scene...
Kei had barely made it out of the temple with the idol.
Only to freeze at the many arrows and spears pointed her.
She spotted her guide, and figured he betrayed her.
Only for him to fall at her feet, poisoned darts in his back.
'So much for that guy...'
Dirty cargos and boots covered in shin armour step over her guide's body, and Kei's lip curls as she recognizes him.
With a cybernetic orb strapped to his chest, and a red robotic eye, Kano settles back in his stance.
"Well, well, Ms. Sorei. Look's like there ain't nothin' you've got that I can't take."
Kei hangs her head with an exasperated sigh.
Of course it's fucking Kano.
He grins.
"And you'd thought I'd given up."
Kano holds out his hand to her, a silent demand for the idol.
Kei reaches into her bag, briefly freezing when the pointed weapons shift closer; on edge.
"Costin' ya to have the wrong friends, sweetheart." Kano's vile grin appears as Kei reveals the idol.
"Too bad the locals don't know you like I do,"
Kei places the idol in his hand firmly.
"Kano."
The man gives the idol a testing toss.
"Yeah. Too bad."
He turns an interested look to her open shirt.
"Ya could warn them." He suggests, eyes roving her chest.
"If only you spoke the local language."
He leers, and Kei is so ready to bash his face in with said idol.
He turns and hefts the idol into the air for the natives to see, commanding in their language.
Kei supposes its something close to "I have returned your god. Bow before me."
She's not waiting around to find out.
As the natives kneel to the jungle floor, Kei launches a kick to Kano's knee; bringing him down.
She snatches the idol and takes off into the jungle.
Behind her, she can hear the natives clamouring, and Kano's angry roar of her name.
Stuffing the idol into her back, Kei pulls out a radio, and shouts to the helicopter pilot on the other end.
"Matt! Get that Bird in the air!!"
"-Ksh!- Kei?! What's going on??"
"Start the helicopter! Get off the ground!!"
Kei repeats harshly, jumping over roots and branches.
Luckily, the chopper is hovering over the clearing as she clears the jungle; the rope ladder hanging from the side.
Arrows and poisoned darts whizz past her as Kei jumps onto the ladder.
"Go! Go!" She called as she climbed into the cab, the bird rising out of range.
Soon, they were well above the Amazon, and Kei pulled out the idol with a breathless grin.
Looking out to the jungles where Kano was probably running from his native ' friends', Kei chuckled.
"Sorry Kano. Look's like I'm keeping this one."

500 followers, wow. That’s a lot.
I think the time has finally come to discuss the Novrai Region itself. A diverse region with many environs and a stunning variety of Pokémon to match, most people and Pokémon can find a comfortable home somewhere or other here. Rocky mountains, frozen forests, dry deserts, and beachside resorts are just some of the places you’ll find here. Let’s take a closer look, with each of the following towns shown by the number on the map-
Permint Town, your hometown. A quiet, peaceful place just far enough north to have a light dusting of snow. The temperature is cool but not cold year-round. The nearby Crumble Cave allows you to quickly head down to Bay Town, as long as you’re mindful of rock slides.
Thymesa Town, a small village where gardening is a beloved pastime. Check out the Berry farms, chat with the locals, and head south into Wander Woods- as long as you have a good map, because it’s all too easy to get lost there.
Fengrec City, a medium-sized city where art is prized above all. Massive libraries can tell you all you need to know, and you can head to the art club to train against aspiring artists and their unpredictable Smeargle. You can even check out the local Gym Leader, Monica, put on a play with her Dark-type Pokémon- and participate in one for her Gym Badge!
Bay Town, a popular tourist destination in Novrai. Its warm temperature and ocean view make it the ideal spot for a vacation if you want to relax on the beach. For the more adventurous, you can pay a small fee to go deep-sea diving and catch undersea Pokémon.
Sazafraz City, the largest, most urban city in the region. Watch your step on the streets, or you might find yourself ambushed by a Ratten, or run down by a Jalopig. Here you’ll find the Electric-type Gym Leader Nicole, a professional meteorologist and stormchaser who specializes in preparing people for any kind of weather.
Cinamont City, a humble place that used to be popular due to rumours of gold under the ground. Now it’s settled down, but you can still explore the abandoned Moonlight Mine. The Fire-type Gym Leader, Charlie, runs a bakery with the finest homemade food you’ll ever taste. Engage them in a battle to win some free pastries along with their Gym Badge.
Origon Town, home of the region’s cemetery. Well-placed for it, too, given that the nearby Frazzle Forest is said to be haunted… Despite that, they manage to have a successful tourism industry thanks to their proximity to the bay, so people can go diving for Pokémon. Seems like the nefarious Team Enigma managed to set up a hideout here, though.
Wicress City, a welcome break from the trial that is Dazing Desert. Help the local Gym Leader, Dave, fend off some Grimer polluting the lake, and as a reward, he’ll battle you with his Water-type Pokémon. After that, take a well-deserved rest on the lakeshore or check out Dave’s tea shop if you want to unwind.
Bazile City, a relatively isolated place thanks to its placement behind the mountains of Calamity Cliffs and past the spooky Misery Mansion. It’s got a big junkyard if you’re into searching for scrap the way the Gym Leader, Titania, is. They have a passion for building things out of the junk they collect, and they can put up quite a fight with their Steel-types.
Carastay City, an island city only accessible once you get the Surf HM. Home to Novrai’s Safari Zone, Game Corner, and Department Store, as well as its proximity to Bay Town, Carastay is by far the number-one place in the region for vacation. Its amenities are overseen by the Flying-type Elite Four member, Orville, when he’s not busy with challengers.
Peprik Town, Carastay’s smaller sister island. The Ground-type Gym Leader, Wilbur, lives here after a falling out with his brother Orville forced him to leave Carastay. He maintains a conservatory for rare Pokémon here, although of course unlike the Safari Zone you’re not allowed to catch anything. He seems kind of lonely, though.
Vodruff Town, a place mostly known for its strange ruins. People researching the enigmatic Unown spend a lot of time here, but there isn’t much activity overall. The perfect place for a criminal hideout, given how few people there are and how meek the people that are there tend to be.
Humlock City, one of Novrai’s chilliest cities. There isn’t any gym, but it gets quite a bit of attention thanks to the nearby Paramount Peaks, where people can enjoy sledding, skiing, and snowboarding. Make sure to stock up on the city’s famous hot cocoa if you plan on exploring the caves or the snowy adjacent routes.
Vinlla Town, the most famous Novrai town, yet still one of the least populated. This is probably because it’s literally built on an iceberg. You need extreme tolerance of the cold to live here, but its icy caverns hold many surprises. You can find the Dragon-type Gym Leader, Ned, exploring down there in his off-time.
Colova Town, an out of the way place mostly known for its rumoured connection to the legendary Pokémon of luck. For some reason, the eighth Gym Leader decided to set up a gym all the way out here, so barely anyone bothers challenging them. Even their identity is a mystery.
The Pokémon League, the culmination of your journey. Victory Road is a treacherous place in Novrai, but your determination to become the Champion (and hopefully a good sweater) will keep you warm in this last stretch. Make sure you bring the Heat Wave HM, some of those snowbanks get stuck but good.
