The only problem with Power ranger Samurai was that it had to adapt Shinkenger.
Shinkenger is so heavily based on Samurai culture. Its hard for an American series to adapt.
Imagine, Kevin bowing to Jayden saying "LORD" or going crazy over everything he does. Or even the Kaoru arc is really hard to adapt.
They did a great job with Lauren tho. But, Shinkenger's one hit harder.
Shinkenger was great because of its character dynamics which Samurai couldn't adapt completely.
Samurai tried it's best. I think it's a bit overhated
