Then why did you put weapons in them? Of course, there's probably some altruistic reason for wanting to participate in the Space Indy 500.

I feel like that's a bit of an oversimplification. I think it's like Takeru in Shinkenger. He likes fighting (and racing) and gets a thrill out of it, but that's not the main reason he does it, but instead because doing so is the right thing to do.

Hastuharu's style would fit Takeru really well. The heavy black and white tones are great for capturing Takeru's personality.

Rewatching Shinkenger Again and I am catching so many subtle hits to Takeru’s reveal!

I'm really thinking about this now cause I’m on episode 23 where Takeru visits a temple and now I realize that the unmarked grave far behind the temple next to the grave of a disgraced clan was actually his father’s and I feel so freaking bad for Takeru!
