Just Finished: Vanquish

Stunning, simply outstanding! This game got it all: A shooter with tons of bullets, stylish action, cheesy and cringy punchlines, and a guy who doesn't know how properly smoke a cigarrete. An over the top action game set on a distante future in a war about to start. The whole game happens in a massive city satellite with an impressive graphics scheme beautifully designed and frame locked no matter what happens on the screen. And believe me, a lot will happen!

Critically praised and loved by many, which leans me to aks: Where the f*** is the sequel to this?

"You know if I die, I know exactly who to blame for my introduction into an early grave." Y/N said snarky. The sounds of grunts and fireballs hitting the walls behind them echoed inside this warehouse. Y/N sat down behind the safe of an old car as he glanced to his left and saw Sam and Dean Winchester pinned down as well.

He saw Dean rise and unload his gun on some swarm demons, but he quickly ducked to avoid being hit. "Oh, so this my fault, kid?" Dean's deep and gravelly voice said.

"Yes, because you didn't care about what I wanted or said. You only cared about what you wanted. I told you, you can't vanquish the swarm demons without vanquish the swarm king."

Dean opened his mouth to retort, but Sam interrupted. "Can you guys fight later? We gotta get out of here."

"Sammy's right. They're getting closer now."

"I have an idea. We blast and bail. Deal?"

The brothers nodded as they all stood up as Dean and Sam let their barrels loose of their bullets and Y/N used his telekinesis to send fireballs back at the demons before they ducked and ran for the Impala.

also i would like to propose maybe not "chuck won" theory but an adjacent theory which is that......"chuck" the consciousness that was chuck IS gone, but......the godpower is what's wrong and needs to be vanquished and it's this power that is slowly corrupting jack and making him...wrong. like maybe the same thing happened to chuck. he started off trying to be a benevolent god but then the power poisoned him and turned him dark. and so all these inconsistencies and weirdness and similarities to chuck we're seeing in jack is part of that. and that would be SUCH a good plot to explore in a spinoff / mini series. dean + bobby (and maybe sam, later) all realize something is OFF with jack and with this heaven. also none of them have seen cas yet. they start poking holes, they realize jack's being corrupted by the god power. they realize cas isn't actually out of the empty -- [cue "one last hunt" 2 electric boogaloo !!)

Sam drags Dean out for a hunt a couple of days before his birthday. So whilst the boys are out, you decide to plan a little treasure hunt for when Dean returns 😏💚

It was a few days before Dean's birthday, and as luck would have it, Sam had caught a case. It was no surprise, given the Winchester brothers' knack for running into supernatural trouble at the most inconvenient times. However, as much as it annoyed Dean, he wasn't about to let Sam go hunting on his own. So, he kissed y/n goodbye, promising to make it up to her when he got back, and left the bunker to join his brother on the job.

While Dean was out chasing after whatever monster it was that had grabbed Sam's attention, y/n decided to surprise him with a birthday celebration. She carefully picked out various birthday-themed clues and started leaving them strategically dotted around the bunker. Each clue led to the next, creating a treasure hunt of sorts for Dean to follow when he returned.

As Dean and Sam tackled the case, their typical banter filled the air. They fought off ghosts, uncovered dark family secrets, and, of course, shared their usual brotherly moments. Dean couldn't help but think about y/n and how she'd planned something special for his birthday. It gave him an extra boost of motivation, determined to solve the case quickly, he wanted to be back home with y/n as soon as possible.

Finally, the day before Dean's birthday, the hunt came to an end. Dean and Sam had managed to vanquish the monster, their mission accomplished. Tired but satisfied, he returned to the bunker. Texting y/n telling her they were on their way back, she ran to their bedroom to wait for him to find her, excitement coursing through her viens. Dean was excited to see what surprises awaited him. As he stepped through the door, he immediately noticed the first clue placed strategically on the railing of the bunker steps. Smirking, he picked it up and began following the trail. Sam smiled at Dean and retreated to his room.

Each clue was thoughtfully placed, triggering memories of their time together and highlighting moments that had made their bond stronger. The clues led Dean through the bunker, revisiting familiar places and cherished memories. They made him recall their shared laughter, their deep conversations, and the unspoken moments that spoke volumes.

With each clue discovered, anticipation grew within Dean. He couldn't help but think about y/n's presence awaiting him at the end of this treasure hunt. It was a tantalizing mix of curiosity and excitement.

Finally, he reached the last clue, which led him straight to their shared bedroom. Dean's heart raced as he cautiously opened the door, unsure of what awaited him. To his surprise and delight, y/n was standing there, wearing some rather revealing nightwear, a sly smile curling on their lips.

"Dinner's served, birthday boy," y/n purred, their voice smoky and filled with seduction.

Dean's eyes widened as he took in the sight of y/n, his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn't believe how incredibly creative and passionate their surprise had turned out to be. It was a culmination of love and desire, a moment crafted solely for them to indulge in. Dean's eyes roamed her lace covered body, as if it was the first time he'd seen it.

As the night unfolded, Dean's birthday celebration took a turn towards a more private, intimate celebration between him and y/n. They celebrated the passing of another year, cherishing the love they shared and the moments that made their lives worth living. It was a night filled with laughter, pleasure, and a deeper connection.

In that moment, Dean realized just how lucky he was to have y/n by his side. "Happy birthday Dean, I love you" she said as Dean nuzzled in next to her, satiated and full of love for the women lying next to him. "Love you too sweetheart, and thank you for the best birthday I've ever had " kissing her once more.

Their love story was far from ordinary, shaped by supernatural battles and life on the road. But the bond they had formed was unbreakable, fortified by trust and a shared understanding of the chaotic world they lived in.

As Dean and y/n embraced each other, their bodies entwined and their souls connected, they knew that this birthday celebration would be etched in their memories forever.
