Potentially controversial take, but uh. Disliking female characters - even the ones dating or involved with your favourite male characters - is not inherently misogynistic.
Especially when literal canon gives more than enough reason to dislike those characters.
Anyway, at the end of the day, these characters aren't real. You're not hurting anybody by hating them (as long as you're not extending the hate to the people who play them, that's weird, don't do that). You're not a bad person for finding some characters unlikeable.
They're not real. Hate all you want. Who's gonna stop you?

Chapter 213 Trivia (Part 1)
I guess things were going too well for too long..?
Gen's drawing of Senku here was probably inspired by very early chapter cover images. I don't know why else he'd be holding an exploding container.
We've now got three interpretations of Whyman: the generic one, Luna's, and now Gen's.

Kenjiro Takayanagi of Shizuoka University is considered one of the main pioneers of television, succeeding in displaying the character イ (i) on his Braun tube display in Dec 1926. Over the next few years, he improved the image allowing more detailed images such as human faces.
By 1939, Japan's first television station began broadcasting from NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation). After the war, Takayanagi Sensei's work was used as a foundation for other televisions and related industries around the world.
If everyone thought working on a second cell phone after they'd spent months making one was bad, they're not ready to hear about what they'll need to make for television broadcasts. (Senku also never changes...)
I didn't realize how big their other boat was. I guess things made in the USA really are bigger?
The Perseus not being the biggest ship anymore makes me a little sad :(
SAL 9000 is a reference to HAL 9000, the AI antagonist from Space Odyssey. It stands for "Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic computer", so in this case it might be "Senku programmed" or even "Sai programmed"!
The "NES" (actually the Famicom again, both in the drawing and Sai's comment in the Japanese version) and SAL 9000 don't have the exact same specifications:
SAL 9000 is specialized for math operations and thus has a longer word length (16 bits vs 8) which allows more significant figures in the numbers. They've also got more RAM (SAL has 16 kB while the NES has 2).
The downside is that because they used parametrons, their clock speed (how fast they can do calculations) is slower than if they'd used transistors.
The large amount of ROM they've also got could imply that they have several built-in programs. Xeno's work, perhaps?
CRT screens only reach a maximum diagonal length of around 40 inches (~101 cm), as a larger screen needs a larger tube, and the thickness of the glass increases with size to handle the vacuum without shattering making it very unwieldy with the added weight and thus not worth manufacturing for sale.
Senku's here is obviously much, much bigger. Possibly even world record; the biggest CRT screens made were 61 inches (~152 cm) on the diagonal.
SAL 9000 has both air and water cooling, probably used depending on what's better for individual parts. Normally you only need one or the other.
It'd be good if they could get the carbonated water maker in there and ferment some alcohol faster too using the computer's heat…
SAL 9000 also has 3 phase power like modern power transmission. They're AC power sources, phase shifted by 120° so that at any point in time, their sum is 0. The advantage to this is that you don't need return lines for the current, so you can use half as many cables.
The games shown are inspired by Tetris (featuring Ishigami Village and Roppongi!), Pacman, a combination game of Gyruss and Tempest, then another combination game of Galaga and Asteroids.
The transmission towers can only be headed towards the dam, so we have an approximate direction for where that is! There's a few rivers nearby in modern Tokyo, but over 3,700 years they've probably changed a lot.

Fandom Ettiquette 101
Note: I'm not the authority on fandom, but I thought I'd make this a separate post and give tips/reminders on how to behave and enjoy your time in a fandom space.
1. Antis: Some are easy to find. They wear it proud like TERFS. (DNI if you're a proshipper/proshitter, saying we're nasty, calling us pedos, giving the wrong definition, invalidating trauma survivors, etc. are pretty obvious red flags.
2. Proshippers: We do not ship "nasty shit," that is absolutely FALSE! We support everyone's right to ship and let ship (SALS), are against censorship, and we are against harassment. Period.
3. Neutrals: They are people who don't consider themselves an anti or a proshipper, but a lot of them do take a stance. Some pretend not to because they think they are above this "fandom nonsense."
4. Your headcanon, ship, interpretation, etc. is not the correct or best one. Everyone's opinions are valid!
5. Research the terms: Please do this. Research the terms because people will give the wrong information. I'm not discouraging asking, I just think looking it up yourself would be best.
(Terms like Dead Dove, NSFW, comship, the ones I defined, etc.)
6. Please do not write a mile long DNI list or expect people to look at your carrd. Do not put DNIs on Ao3.
7. Also, if people blocked you or don't want to interact, then do not interact with them. If you're a proshipper or a minor, don't go clown around in anti or adult spaces. That shit isn't cool, leave people alone!
8. Do not spam or crosstag. Like, don't tag a ship or character that isn't involved in the post. Nobody likes that shit, and it can be frustrating to find something and end up with what you're not looking for.
9. Share content/support content creators and create some if you want to! This is how fandom lives, breathes, and dies! Oh, and don't hate or give unwanted feedback/advice! That's rude.
10. Curate your online experience. Block people and tags, filter content, ignore it, etc. If someone is causing you harm, then block/report them and don't engage. Delete asks, block them, or turn them off. Restrict DMs.
Don't be afraid to leave or take a break if you need to! I hope you have fun in whatever fandoms you join! 🫶

Hwy 128 Colorado River Scenic Byway, UT (No. 12)
Traveling 34 miles (55 km) west of Dinosaur, Colorado, the Dinosaur Diamond encounters the small city of Vernal, Utah. Vernal borders the western end of the Dinosaur National Monument; other notable attractions nearby include Steinaker State Park, Red Fleet State Park, Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, and the Ashley National Forest.
Continuing along the Dinosaur Diamond, US 40 and US 191 converge within Vernal, heading west for 30 miles (48 km) to the city of Roosevelt. Roosevelt is located on the edge of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation. Heading 29 miles (47 km) to the west is the county seat of Duchesne, located within the reservation. Nearby Duchesne are Starvation State Park and Kings Peak (the highest point in Utah), which is part of the Uinta Mountain range. The Uinta Mountains are one of the few mountain ranges in the contiguous United States which run east–west, and are the highest range to do so.
Within Duchesne, US 40 and US 191 diverge, and the DD continues 55 miles (89 km) south along US 191 over an unnamed mountain pass, through the small town of Helper, and into the larger city of Price. The numerous attractions surrounding Price include College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum, Manti-La Sal National Forest, Huntington Lake State Park, Scofield State Park, and Ninemile Canyon which features numerous petroglyphs. Also nearby is the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, a prehistoric mud trap which claims to be the densest concentration of Jurassic dinosaur fossils in the world.
Traveling 63 miles (101 km) southeast along US 191, the DD encounters the city of Green River. Notable features surrounding Green River include the San Rafael Swell, Green River State Park, and Goblin Valley State Park. Also nearby is Crystal Geyser, a rare (but man-made) cold water geyser caused by the expansion of carbonized "soda pop" water within. Within Green River, US 191 converges with I-70 for a short while and diverges again, south towards the city of Moab, 55 miles (89 km) from Green River.
Just south of the junction of US 191 and SR-128, the city of Moab features a number of nearby attractions. Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and the Newspaper Rock and Potash Road petroglyphs.
Leaving Moab, the DD continues north along SR-128 to its terminus with I-70 in Cisco. Traveling east along I-70, before completing the "diamond" back in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Die nuwe paragraaf: in die geval van dagga gebruik hy of sy, synde 'n volwassene, dit of is in besit daarvan privaat vir sy of haar persoonlike verbruik in privaat of, in enige ander geval,
Artikel 22A(10) van die Wet op die Beheer van Medisyne en Verwante Stowwe.
Artikel 22A(10) verbied die verkoop van dagga vir enige ander doel
as medisinale doeleindes.

Artikel 4(b) van die Wet op Dwelms en Dwelmhandel 140 van 1992 wat
(1) hy 'n pasiënt is wat enige sodanige middel verkry of gekoop het-
(aa) van 'n mediese praktisyn, tandarts of praktisyn wat in sy professionele hoedanigheid optree en ooreenkomstig die vereistes van die Medisynewet of enige regulasie daarkragtens uitgevaardig,
Die nuwe subparagraaf: (vii), in die geval van 'n volwassene, is die stof dagga en hy of sy gebruik dit of is in besit daarvan privaat vir sy of haar persoonlike verbruik in privaatheid.
Wet op Tradisionele Gesondheidspraktisyns, 2007 Presies: "tradisionele medisyne" beteken 'n voorwerp of stof wat gebruik word in
tradisionele gesondheidspraktyk vir- (a) die diagnose, behandeling of
voorkoming van 'n fisiese of geestelike siekte; of (b) enige genesende.of terapeutiese doel, insluitend die instandhouding of herstel van
fisiese of geestelike gesondheid of welstand by mense, maar sluit nie 'n afhanklikheid-produserende of gevaarlike stof of dwelm in nie
Kortliks, artikel 4(b) verbied die gebruik of besit van enige gevaarlike afhanklikheid-produserende stof of enige ongewenste afhanklikheid-produserende stof tensy een of meer van die uitsonderings daarin gelys van toepassing is. En Artikel 5(b) verbied handel in enige gevaarlike afhanklikheid-produserende stof of enige ongewenste afhanklikheid-produserende stof, tensy een of meer van die uitsonderings gelys in daardie bepaling van toepassing is. Volgens die konstitusionele hof produseer dagga nie fisiese afhanklikheid of onthoudingsindroom nie en die grondwetlike ongeldigheid hou verband met artikels 4(b) en 5(b) van die Wet op Dwelms en Dwelmhandel 140 van 1992 (Dwelmswet) saamgelees met Deel III van Bylae 2 tot daardie Wet en artikels 22A(9)(a)(1) van die Wet op die Beheer van Medisyne en Verwante Stowwe 101 van 1965 (Medisynewet) saamgelees met Bylae 7 van GK R509 van 2003 gepubliseer ingevolge artikel 22A(2) van die Medisynewet met, is bevind dat hierdie wette in stryd is met onregverdige beperking van die reg op privaatheid van die Menseregtewet en dus ook van die grondwet van Suid-Afrika. Indien die Parlement nie daarin slaag om die grondwetlike gebreke binne 24 maande vanaf die datum van die uitspraak van hierdie uitspraak of binne 'n verlengde tydperk van skorsing te herstel nie, sal die inlees in hierdie bevel finaal word. Om hierdie rede het die konstitusionele hof die gebruik van dagga vir die publiek en die mediese gebruik soos dit verskaf word gedekriminaliseer volgens die uitsluitings wat deur die wet bepaal word waarby ek nagekom en genoem het. Mediese cannabis word deur die wet vereis en deur die wet goedgekeur.
Ten slotte het ons inlees en die Wet op Tradisionele Gesondheidspraktisyns, 2007 met Artikel 22A (9) (a) (1) met Artikel 22A(10) van die Wet op die Beheer van Medisyne en Verwante Stowwe 101 en Artikel 4 (b) 5(b) )van die Wet op Dwelms en Dwelmhandel 140. Cannabisverbruik is wettig wanneer daar mediese redes of persoonlike redes is. Albei deur die wet goedgekeur. Die besit van cannabis is wettig soos gelys volgens die uitsluitings. Dit verbied die verkoop en administrasie van, onder andere, cannabis vir enige ander doel as medisinale doeleindes, tensy een van die uitsonderings wat in die bepaling gegee word, van toepassing is; of enige ander persoon beoog in die Medisynewet of enige regulasie daarkragtens uitgevaardig, wat of wat enige sodanige stof voorskryf, administreer, verkry, koop, oorlaai, invoer, verbou, versamel, vervaardig, verskaf, verkoop, oordra of uitvoer in ooreenstemming met die vereistes of voorwaardes van genoemde wet of regulasie: wat die Wet op Tradisionele Gesondheidspraktisyns is. Ek wil graag weet watter wet volgens NVG/SAPD ek oortree het/ons van die Wet op die Beheer van Medisyne en Verwante Stowwe en regulasies gemaak

SaL anon here bestie, having enjoyed your morning salt. Tragically I'd call this one of the best episodes this season, thanks the Kyle, as always, setting everyone straight and focusing on what matters (who do you think is the heart of the show again writers?). Looking forward to more of your salty thoughts later, but as usual I'm here to provide RNM bullshit: science edition. So first off any well researched science points the episode might have had (it had none) are automatically null and void
due to Liz bringing back the cursed phrase "the science". I look forward to never having to hear that again when the show ends. Next, in the Liz and Max scene with the pods she mentions "Hawkins radiation" and "Lagrange multipliers" which are in fact real things. Sadly they have absolutely nothing to do with Liz's current resurrection research unless her plan was to detect and throw the dead frog into a black hole to bring it back to life (probably a plot the writers considered). Here's the thing writers, being a scientist doesn't grant you mystical in depth knowledge if every field in science. Liz is not an expert in general relativity because she has a degree in biochemistry (and after the "ionized proton" remark I have serious concerns about the chemistry part of that). Finally, the second Liz and Shivani talk. *me seeing the chemical structures on the whiteboard* "NO! BAD WRITERS!! You can't have an carbon partially unbonded like that!!" *me, all of 0.5 seconds later looking at Liz's tablet while hysterically laughing* "What the actual fuck is THAT!!" There so much wrong in those notes it would take minimum 10 asks to cover. Who's in charge of the science props of this show? Please writers, put any freshman student taking chem 101 in charge and offer to buy them a pizza. They will do a better job in the time it takes them to eat it. As an aside, Liz and Shivani vaping poorly CGIed alien mist made me laugh. Enjoy my friend!!
Hi bestie! Sorry this took me so long to get to, but that reviewer wasn’t lying when she called this an energy vampire of a season and I just haven’t been able to bring myself to deal this week. I agree that out of this mess of a season, this has been one of the best episodes so far and it really is down to Kyle being back, dropping truth bombs on Max, snuggling into that hug with Isobel while deftly turning Michael’s comments aside and keeping Isobel’s confidence about what happened with them (not that Max and Michael won’t figure it out, but Kyle is so good at not being *totally* obvious unlike Michael who cannot hide his 🥺 face about Alex like, ever), and being THEE captain of the Malex ship and Michael’s cheerleader and refusing to let anyone give up on Alex. 100% the heart of this show.
I can’t wait for this show to be over if only so I never have to hear “The Science” ever again. Even Jeanine’s brilliance can’t save that line. At least she mentioned so real science things, but I’m with you on being confused on why she didn’t throw out some science babble from her related field, though I suppose the answer is “the mist made her brilliant about everything”. Though I thought it was implied it helped “free your thinking” to come up with out of the box ideas, not “implanted knowledge you never had directly into your brain” but it’s not like the writers know or care about how anything on this show, including the passage of time, how long it takes to get places, or how friendships work so 🤷🏻♀️
Honestly, I’m seriously doubting they bothered to hire a scientist consultant at all, but you’d think that googling terms and pictures of chemical structures would lead to them being at least a little right sometimes. But that’s also like saying that with the set up of a major main character like Alex being kidnapped they’d have to stumble on an emotional beat at some point, even accidentally, and it’s starting to feel purposeful that they haven’t. Was someone on the writing staff dumped by a scientist at some point and all this stuff is done purposefully wrong out of spite? Because BOY does this season feel like a lot of spite-writing for pretty much every character. Except for m*ria who supposedly ends the series getting “everything”, so we have that to look forward to 🙄
I can’t decide which is worse, another episode without a Malex reunion, or a Malex reunion directed by someone who called people’s genuine triggers about consent “noise” that they needed to shut up about. Fingers crossed whatever the reunion is and whenever we get it, that it’s entirely free of m*ria mentions, that Vlamis and Tyler’s work to make it worth it comes through and isn’t trimmed down in editing, and that if it has to be in that god-awful blue filter, it’s at least not at the dead of night since the scene at the end of 4x10 was partially visible.
Three more episodes until these characters do not belong to that joke of a writers room anymore.

‘Tu quebranto es irremediable

Estás desahuciado.

En aquel tiempo, inmediatamente después de la multiplicación de los panes, Jesús hizo que sus discípulos subieran a la barca y se dirigieran a la otra orilla, mientras él despedía a la gente. Después de despedirla, subió al monte a solas para orar. Llegada la noche, estaba él solo allí.
Entre tanto, la barca iba ya muy lejos de la costa y las olas la sacudían, porque el viento era contrario. A la madrugada, Jesús fue hacia ellos, caminando sobre el agua. Los discípulos, al verlo andar sobre el agua, se espantaron y decían: “¡Es un fantasma!” Y daban gritos de terror. Pero Jesús les dijo enseguida: “Tranquilícense y no teman. Soy yo”.
Entonces le dijo Pedro: “Señor, si eres tú, mándame ir a ti caminando sobre el agua”. Jesús le contestó: “Ven”. Pedro bajó de la barca y comenzó a caminar sobre el agua hacia Jesús; pero al sentir la fuerza del viento, le entró miedo, comenzó a hundirse y gritó: “¡Sálvame, Señor!” Inmediatamente Jesús le tendió la mano, lo sostuvo y le dijo: “Hombre de poca fe, ¿por qué dudaste?”
En cuanto subieron a la barca, el viento se calmó. Los que estaban en la barca se postraron ante Jesús, diciendo: “Verdaderamente tú eres el Hijo de Dios”.
Terminada la travesía, llegaron a Genesaret. Apenas lo reconocieron los habitantes de aquel lugar, pregonaron la noticia por toda la región y le trajeron a todos los enfermos. Le pedían que los dejara tocar siquiera el borde de su manto; y cuantos lo tocaron, quedaron curados.

The 47-point output by the Renegades marks the most points scored in franchise history, dating back to the 2020 XFL season.
The Renegades scored 25 first-half points, their most in a half this season.
Arlington out-rushed an opponent for the first time this season, 106-96.
The two interceptions gives Arlington seven on the season, putting them in first place in the league.
Four takeaways in the game set a season-high for the Renegades defense.
QB Luis Perez threw for 296 yards and three TDs (season-high) on 27-of-32 passing for a passer rating of 193. Perez now has a league-leading 1,626 pass yards on the season.
RB De’Veon Smith had a two-touchdown day, giving him three on the season. He finished with 14 carries for 101 yards, his first 100-yard game of the season, in addition to five receptions for 35 yards.
TE Sal Cannella has now scored TDs in back-to-back weeks and has three on the season. He finished with 9 catches for 72 yards and two scores.
WR JaVonta Payton had a two-score day and has now scored a TD in three straight games. He has five total touchdowns (four receiving and one rushing) on the season and finished the day with 4 catches for 82 yards.
