The Marvels (2023)

This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.

The Marvels has extensive use of electrical or lightning-type effects around sci-fi portals. One brief moment has lights flickering off during an emergency situation.

There are multiple scenes following people as they tumble through space, similar to Gravity or The Martian. Other moments have instances of zero gravity that may be disorienting. There is a skydiving sequence.

Flashing Lights: 9/10. Motion Sickness: 7/10.

TRIGGER WARNING: There are several instances of cats making hacking noises as if coughing up a furball, and they expel things in alien ways.
