So. Rot Au. Remember that?

Tbh this is waaaaaay near the end of the story and honestly probably requires a TON more fucking context but I just needed to get this shit out of my system. Feel free to ask about what the fuck is going on because I’d LOOOOVE TO TELL. The basic gist is that Sig knows Sliver wants her, and every other rotted iterator, dead, but thankfully because she isn’t his local group senior, she can’t do anything to him…yet. But this also means Sig can’t do shit to her either. So…why not employ the help of his best friend by infecting him and making him do her dirty work? Sounds like a perfectly sound plan made by a very sane individual!

Yeah so Sig n Wind make a biiiiiig fucking oopsie and Sig finally realizes that shit might have gone too far. :)

Finally made a couple ocs too! The next-in-line for the group senior mark is Once Stagnant Opportunity, the second oldest…or well, now first lol. I’ll be uploading their ref…soon. Ish. Probably.

Also I’m not joking this shit took me a collective FIFTY FOUR HOURS to create. The first page took 29, the second took 19, and the third took 6. I’m boutta look so annoying but dear jesus please reblog this

It happens in a flash; waiting right outside of a tunnel, the white lizard snaps down on their arm with no warning. It's hard enough to rip themself away and get to running, scrambling for every bit of purchase they can get as the lizard continues in pursuit. Coolant and oil drips out, marking their path as they go.

When the lizard retreats to try and eat the arm, not realizing its lack of sustenance, Chasing Wind shudders in relief.

In the present day, Chasing Wind observes the wildlife around Unparalleled Innocence's can. She's offered to help them research a way to properly graft a new arm on, but they're not interested in getting past more nuances of blocks against such a thing. There's a difference between a simpler level of detachment and the refashioning and reattachment of puppet limbs, anyhow.

They won't tell her, though, that the continued loss is more a reminder. They know that, given enough time, their local group could work together to figure out something.

Wind simply isn't interested in pursuing the project to its ideal end.

For now, they focus their thoughts on the lizards. Such bestial creatures, starving and pursuing the next meal with every cycle that passed.

They wonder if, rather than the slugcats that their local group and other iterators favor so, the possibility that they could tame a few lizards of their own. They could do with the same crushing jaws on their side rather than ambushing them once more.

It's an interesting thought.

heck im going to make a separate post because i've just seen one too many and i've hit my breaking point sorry but

SEVEN RED SUNS USES THEY/THEM PRONOUNS!!

mixing pronouns is cool. no hate to the people who headcanon mixed pronouns. he/she/they NSHs? awesome. they/he or they/she suns? cool. mix and match pronouns all you like. i do not care

...but ive just seen far too many he/him suns. and i might be overreacting a bit here, but i relate so so personally to suns and their character that seeing people misgender them makes me feel the same icky feeling i get when people misgender me

along with this, both chasing wind and unparalleled innocence appear to canonically use they/them. and it bothers me a bit how no one has really seemed to talk about this either?? cause pearl/broadcast dialogue refers to both of them as "them"s.

now, wind and innocence's pronouns are only each mentioned once, so i don't mind mixing pronouns for both of them. heck, my innocence uses she/they

Before I die untill the end of the month due to studies and deadlines, here's one last doodle bunch for Dark Rain

First Gen models, also known locally as the "Mother gen". Two first independent AIs created by different people for different purposes. Have almost nothing in common, including: different models, bio-components, mechanical-components, programming, character, regulations and settings. Sliver was a model 0, created separately from the "Ocean of Eternity" project group. Luna, on the other hand, is it's first and most important participant.

Second Gen or "Hybrid gen" was a cross between first two models, born of collaborative efforts of those who worked on Sliver and Luna. It was as much an experiment as a necessity. Have some similar biological and mechanical components, some of them even identical. Sun is a lot closer to Luna in his components, as they we're supposed to be first participants of the "Mentorship" program. Sig has more original and specialised components specifically for fulfilling the role of an assistant.

Third Gen - most interesting and diverse, because of that it was named "Experimental". A lot of independent groups of developers started to participate in creation of iterators and so new ideas, new AIs and new components were brought to the table. Some of their components have similarities with the former gen models, but a large percent of their structures is brand new and more developed in comparison. This gen is also the most restricted from the beggining, depending on their Administration an citizens for certain actions.
