Parkland Murderer Nikolas Cruz has been formally sentenced to 17 sentences of life without parole for 17 counts of first degree murder and 17 life sentences for attempted murder, each count to run consecutively.
The judge also garnished all of Cruz’s jail account until all of his legal fees and restitution is payed off. This is going to make prison extra tough for Cruz. Cruz is led away to serve the rest of his natural life in prison.

Suspect in Oxford school shooting pleads guilty, including to rare terrorism count
The teenage student accused of killing four classmates in a shooting rampage at a Michigan high school last year pleaded guilty Monday to two dozen charges, including to terrorism — a tremendously unusual charge in a school shooting.
Ethan Crumbley, who was 15 when he opened fire at an Oxford, Mich., high school, was charged as an adult with one count of terrorism causing death, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder and 12 counts of possession of a firearm. Officials also took the rare step of filing involuntary manslaughter charges against Crumbley’s parents, who bought the gun allegedly used in the attack.
News of his plan to plead guilty emerged Friday, nearly 10 months after his lawyers said in court filings that they planned to pursue an insanity defense. His attorneys said in court Monday that they were withdrawing that notice.
The Nov. 30 shooting prompted extraordinary charges, including a state-level domestic terrorism count against the suspect.
“We are not aware of any other case anywhere in the country where a mass shooter has been convicted of terrorism on state charges,” Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald told reporters Monday.
Crumbley’s guilty plea to the first-degree murder counts could lead to him spending the rest of his life in prison. Ven Johnson, an attorney for some victims’ families in a lawsuit against Crumbley, said the plea was a “small step” toward obtaining full justice.
In court, Crumbley acknowledged that he had asked his father, James Crumbley, to buy the weapon for him and gave him his own money to pay for it. Ethan Crumbley said the gun was not kept in a locked location in the family’s home.

6 dead, more than two dozen hospitalized in mass shooting at Highland Park Fourth of July parade; shooter still at large.
The shooter appeared to have fired from a rooftop, police said. “This doesn’t happen here,” said a witness who ran to safety with his family. “It shouldn’t happen anywhere.”
Six people were killed and possibly more than two dozen others wounded when a gunman started shooting from a rooftop 10 minutes after the Highland Park Fourth of July parade kicked off Monday morning, authorities said.
Shortly after noon, the Highland Park police said it remained an “active incident” and urged people to stay away. Authorities continued to hunt for the shooter, and the FBI asked that anyone who had video of the shooting or possible information about the shooter call their toll-free tipline at (800) CALL-FBI.
A Chicago Sun-Times reporter saw blankets covering three bloodied bodies and five other people wounded and bloodied near the parade’s reviewing stand.
NorthShore University Health System said 26 people were taken to Highland Park Hospital and five to Evanston Hospital, the “vast majority” being treated for gunshot wounds, though some “sustained injuries as a result of the ensuing chaos at the parade.”
Several witnesses said they heard multiple shots fired. One witness said he counted more than 20 shots.
Miles Zaremski, a Highland Park resident, told the Sun-Times: “I heard 20 to 25 shots, which were in rapid succession. So it couldn’t have been just a handgun or a shotgun.”
Zaremski said he saw “people in that area that got shot,” including “a woman covered with blood . . . She did not survive.”
Police were telling people: “Everybody disperse, please. It is not safe to be here.”
As they fled the parade route on Central Street in downtown Highland Park, panicked parade-goers left behind chairs, baby strollers and blankets as they sought cover, not knowing just what happened. Even as people ran, a klezmer band, seemingly unaware of the gunfire, continued to play.
Shooter is still at large.

Eight people, including the shooter, were transferred to a hospital after the shooting at the Central Visual and Performing Arts High School, St. Louis police commissioner Michael Sack said in a news conference Monday.

i've been terminated SO much over the last few years but the last couple weeks i've been termed 3 times!! i don't post or reblog graphic content but i do post about and reblog columbine (and other mass shooting) content, e&d gifs, columbine and other shooting info posts etc.
does anyone have any idea what i should or could do to avoid being terminated? is it the columbine reblogs? i just don't know anymore and every time i'm terminated i lose everything and get upset and discouraged.
is anyone else experiencing this like getting terminated so often?

hiiii sorry i've been MIA!! a month and a half to two months or so ago a friend took his own life and i wasn't coping well so i went inpatient for two weeks. then outpatient care for another two weeks or so.
then my mom and sister had to move in with me due to an immigration crisis with my moms (shitty asshole) husband and they're still living with me which is a whole other thing but anyway then my grandmother in law passed away last saturday and i've been trying to deal and cope with that as well as being there for my spouse.
i'm back now and trying to be active to those that still follow me thank you! i followed back as many new follows i could. if i missed you and you're a true crime, horror, or mental health blog and want me to follow back just msg me!

Highland Park parade shooting suspect may have planned attack for weeks and wore women's clothing to hide identity, police say
There was no indication that any racial group was targeted at Monday's shooting that killed six people and injured "over 30 people," Highland Park, Ill., police said Tuesday. Robert E. Crimo III, who was arrested Monday, had two legally purchased rifles, said Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli.
Police are holding Robert E. Crimo III, 21, a local rapper, who they called “a person of interest” in the shootings in which six people were killed and more than 30 injured Monday. The killings terrorized the usually serene Chicago suburb of 30,000 on a day when crowds nationwide gathered to celebrate the nation’s history.
Officers arrested Crimo “without incident” after a chase, Highland Park’s police chief told reporters Monday evening as nearby towns canceled festivities, fearing more violence. Police said Tuesday that they think Crimo legally purchased his weapon, described as “similar to an AR-15,” and randomly fired more than 70 shots at the crowd. A second rifle was found in his car, police said.
Five people died at the scene and one at a hospital. People sent to hospitals for treatment ranged in age from 8 to 85, medical workers said.
A doctor who treated victims said some suffered “unspeakable” wounds that were essentially “wartime injuries.”
DNA obtained from a rifle at the scene of the shooting played a vital role in identifying a suspect, authorities said.
Chaos erupted at July Fourth celebrations in cities nationwide when people appeared to mistake the boom of fireworks for gunshots and scrambled for cover.

i start my new PT job today at a vape store and i'm so hyped!!! i'm nervous bc this will be the first time i'm in a work setting (besides the freelance work i've been doing from home) since the pandemic, which i was the manager of a different vape store at the time. unfortunately it was very small family owned and they didn't make it thru the pandemic so i lost my job bc of the pandemic.
excited to get back out there and do my thing :')
