I am a solo indie dev trying to overcome my anxiety and actually let people know my game exists. It is a cute physics based game where you are the level.
I love making this game with passion and I am so excited to share it with the world, but somehow I need to let the world know. Unfortunately the way steam works is the more wishlists the more visibility, so if you are interested it is super appreciated :)

“As a child at the actor’s colony, Buster tore into each summer day as if doubting tomorrow. He tried every athletic sport and launched his lifetime avocation of gadget building. His simplest Muskegon gadget was the Clown Pole; the most complex, the Ed Gray Awakener. Over the years, certain qualities have come to define the Keaton machine: it has brought the inventor no money and only a passing local fame; it is often, though not always, a thing of staggering complexity; and it does its job with outstanding effectiveness. Its unmistakable aura is a genial, disarming madness.
Buster invented the Awakener for vaudeville monologist Ed Gray. Gray, a bachelor, was notably lazy. “It's a nightmare getting up,” was his habitual opening midafternoon remark to the world in general. Constant ribbing about it finally spurred him to buy an alarm clock. It rang its little heart out in vain. Buster then stepped in with an invention to guarantee prompt rising with nothing dependent upon Gray's willpower, if any. Automation in an early form, Buster's brainchild almost, but not quite, anticipated the electronic computer. It had an Orwellian, Nineteen Eighty-four quality.
"What time shall it be?" Buster asked. Gray went through an obvious struggle before saying, "Ten." So at 10 A.M. each and every summer weekday, Gray's alarm clock went off unheeded, naturally. But Big Brother was watching. The mechanism gave Gray thirty seconds to rise and turn it off, but he never did. Thereupon, hell broke loose. A lever operated by the clock started weights and counterweights of the greatest complexity all going at once: the gas was turned on and lit under the coffeepot (by a match scratched on sandpaper); a mechanical arm snatched off the sheet and blanket, if any; and an electric motor, operating through eccentric cams, made the bed rock like a foundering ship. Another day had dawned for Ed Gray.
"You know," says Buster, "in a month or so, that infernal gadget really trained him. Sometimes he'd even get up earlier all by himself and eat. A real trouper."

while watching nimona, my friends and I got into a huge argument about how they could have scottie terriers with no scotland and jazz with no harlem renaissance so now I too just like to drop explicit references to real world things in my fic that have 0% justification being there in the first place and i feel like the funniest mfer alive

Been meaning to post this for a while now, but I love how Blitz made a Rube Goldberg situation here, which honestly is hilarious since we know how often Blitz's ideas don't work, much less him managing to do the impossible here. XD XD XD I think his smug expression at the end is warranted since he did get the two of them out. ;) Plus, him magically having popcorn and a drink while he watches the chaos is perfect. ^_^ That one guy in his chair certainly didn't seemed fazed while flying through the air and everyone around him is dying. He must be a heavy sleeper. ;) Poor Fizz certainly has been traumatized though and I think it's more than just the blood getting to him here. >_< That's the look of someone how has just seen some things. O_O

Having finished School Spirits yesterday, today I chose Odd Thomas for movie night to keep on the same vibe of ghostly goings on. But I really want to rewatch Dead Like Me to keep the haunted vibe going. More or less.

Ok I know this is definitely not at all related to my entire freaking blog but I am one episode away from finishing the Netflix show Bodies and OMG IM OBSESSED. I freaking love this show it’s so nuanced and gorgeous. But HOLY SHIT I SWEAR TO ALL OF THE POWERFUL BEINGS THAT HAVE EVER EXISTED IF THEY DONT ALLOW ALFRED AND HARRY TO HAVE THE HAPPY ENDING THEY DESERVE I WILL END THE WORLD LIKE ELIAS TRIED TO DO.
TL;DR: a pair of Victorian gays have my heart and they are actively ripping it out.
Also, can I just say, Bodies is the only show I’ve ever watched where I was literally on the edge of my couch, so many twists and turns. It’s a Rube Goldberg machine of a show and I love it for that.

“He would spend his couple of hundred bucks a week buying Meccano sets, and he would put together these Rube Goldberg contraptions! He built a cigarette lighter that was yay high, and so big, and he’d put a cigarette in it, and it traveled through Ferris wheels and merry-go-rounds…round and round, came out at the top. An American flag went up on a flagpole, a picture of Louis B. Mayer went up on a flagpole, and the thing handed you a lighted cigarette. I’ll never forget that. It was a real picture of Hollywood!”
In fact, the cigarette lighter, three feet in height and composed of 567 separate parts, was exhibited at San Francisco’s Union Label and Industrial Exhibition in 1940. “I built this thing in my spare time from one of those mechanical sets you give children,” he said at the time. The difference between my invention and Rube Goldberg? Mine works, while his are crazy!”
