A New Animatronic In The Plex
A/N:
this is basically just me introducing an oc of mine plus some of how they interact with the other animatronics. (I went a bit off the rails with Monty’s part I’m so sorry 😭)
ALSO! I plan to write a part 2 to this featuring Sun and Moon. (Theirs may be a bit longer cause they’re my favs)
Honestly this may just turn into a bit of a series of oneshots featuring Fifi. Depends on how often I write :)

Summary:
There's a new animatronic in the pizzaplex, who are they and what do the others think?
Imagine the new animatronic: Fifi the Cat that has a room dedicated to chill convos and naps for the teenagers in the Pizzaplex. They have golden stars all over their indigo body that glow because her QuietTime room has dim lights.
Speaking of, the QuietTime room entry has floor length, blue curtains with lots of gold beads that lightly clack together when you walk through them. With soft pillows and lavish arm chairs decorating the area, the room has an instant calming effect. There are a few side tables near each chair and one main wooden table with pillows surrounding it, encouraging people to chat.
The Animatronic is a little shorter than the rest, they were going for a cutesy look, standing at around 5’7”.
Fifi makes tea for her guests along with having a stash of dried fruit that they keep on the table.
Fifi will talk to their guests and is asked to read to them surprisingly often.
There is a stack of pillows in the corner of the room so kids can just take a pillow and sit wherever they want.
Fifi doesn’t keep games in the room and has to remind the kids that if they’re feeling like doing something louder then there is a bunch of other fun places to visit in the Pizzaplex. It makes her metal ears droop slightly when they hear the disappointment coming from the teens. She tries her best to cheer them up but more often than not, they go to the other areas of the Pizzaplex.
She doesn’t see much of the other animatronics either, and unbeknownst to her, they actually didn’t know of her existence for the first few weeks of her being at the Pizzaplex. They all had mixed reactions when they found out.
Freddy had felt awful. He was the first to encounter Fifi and was shocked that no one had thought to introduce her to the others. However, he soon became upset that she hadn’t had any animatronic friends up until that point. He ended up sitting in the QuietTime room with her for at least an hour after closing, just chatting and trying his best to be the most amazing friend.
Chica, who was next to meet Fifi, had also felt bad, but she was much more excited to have a new friend!! She had asked all about the tea that Fifi serves and if she had to stay in this room, because she wants to give Fifi a full tour! When she’s told that she’s only seen her rooms and a little of the surrounding area Chica launched into stories about the rest of the Pizzaplex and the other animatronics.
Roxy meets Fifi soon after Chica. Roxy was apprehensive at first. The cat animatronic was no longer in the comfort of her QuietTime room, making her a little skittish. Roxy found her behaviour strange at first, paired with the fact that she’s never seen this animatronic before, she was a little distant. However, after being caught up on her role in the Pizzaplex, and a bit of casual conversation, Roxy warmed up to Fifi quite a bit.
Monty was the last of the main animatronics to meet Fifi. Surprisingly, he wasn’t introduced to her by any of the other animatronics. A few days after meeting Roxy and Chica, Fifi was starting to leave her room more and more. Eventually, on one of her late night outings, she heard some thrashing and crashing and decided to see what was happening. Curiosity killed the cat. But not this time! When she stumbled across Monty, pacing and growling, a few overturned or broken chairs surrounding him, she couldn’t help but worry for him. She softly announced her presence with a meek,
“Hello…” Monty’s head snapped in her direction. After noticing his fuming red eyes, she was quick to introduce herself and her role in the Pizzaplex. As she spoke, Monty found himself slightly calmer, he could still feel anger buzzing inside of him but he wasn’t running rampant. Soon, they were engaged in a soft conversation about the QuietTime room and how Fifi runs it.
Now, whenever Monty begins to feel that buzz of anger inside of him, he makes his way to the QuietTime room, sitting in a secluded corner and occasionally responding to Fifi until he feels calm enough to go back out to the rest of the Pizzaplex.

oooo good question lemme pull up my bookmarks. most of these are probably gonna be ones I've recced before just bc I don't read a ton of fics so my favorites usually stay the same for a long period of time. also, I'm just gonna put the favorites of mine that I specifically get writing style inspo from. I have a lot of other fics I adore that I just didn't really get a ton of writing inspo from that I'm not gonna include here.
maggot tongue by birdfeet - I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love eli's writing so goddamn much. they have some of the best crimeboys characterization I've ever seen in fics, and the way they write environments and atmosphere is so gritty and raw, it just scratches this specific part of my brain so perfectly, I read literally everything they write. maggot tongue is my fav fic of theirs though (at the moment, they have a wip going on rn that I helped them brainstorm and I know once it's done that's gonna be my new fav). maggot tongue just has fantastic characterization and such a gritty atmosphere, their descriptions make my skin crawl but in the best possible way. I really admire their word choice for descriptions, and their work is definitely something I've taken a lot of inspo from for my own writing
ritual purposes by thanotaphobia - again, i've talked about this fic before but I'm literally never gonna get over it. roxy writes so much amazing stuff, but there's just something about this fic that hits so hard for me. there's so many tiny details in it that just put me right at the archaelogical dig site the fic takes place at. I think my favorite part of roxy's writing here is the way they describe tiny physical interactions. there's one line in particular I always think of, and it's just this bit where phil has his hand resting on tommy's back, and his shirt is still warm from the sun he'd been standing in only minutes before. it's such a tiny line, but it's just so specific and I can think of exactly what that feels like—to have your hand on a child's back and feel the warmth soaking from their shirt into your hand. this fic is full of tiny moments like that that just make it so easy to place yourself in phil's shoes, and not to mention the subject matter is so interesting. I love when authors use really niche knowledge they have and make a fic on it.
His Curse of Binding by bari_astralis - ignore the fact that the link says orphan account, poor bari's ao3 account got fucked one day and all her fics from before got orphaned but she's the author of this. ANYWAY, his curse of binding was probably my first Favorite fic in this fandom. I read it while it was still ongoing, and I remember how excited I would get anytime it updated. I love so many of bari's works because she's an excellent author, but his curse of binding is always gonna hold a special place in my heart. bari has this really perfect instinct for how to balance humor and drama in a way that doesn't lean too far on either side. his curse of binding is one of the funniest fics I've ever read, but it also made me sob. although a lot of my fics don't have a ton of humorous moments in them, I really admire bari's ability to balance those two contrasting moods, and also how distinct her voices for all the characters are. love her stuff.
still life by meridies - if you haven't read any meri meridies fics... I'm so sorry for your loss but you are missing out. I don't actually read or talk about meri's fics a lot mostly because they often hit me so hard, it takes me a lot of time to process my thoughts on them. still life is probably the one that's impacted me the most, but so many of their fics are just fantastic, I highly recommend reading any of them. meri has this really distinct writing style where they don't over describe anything and somehow that says so much more than anything else they could do. they don't dive super deep into thought process a lot of the time and focus more on character actions, which lets the readers make their own interpretations about what the characters are thinking or feeling in any given moment, and it creates a really powerful effect. everything they write feels so raw and human, and while it's drastically different from my own writing style, I love keeping their writing in mind when thinking about ways I can switch up my own methods if I ever want to. just go read their stuff you won't regret it.

Seeing Alice Cooper for the first time
I went to another new venue for the first time (Bethlehem, PA) and this was easily the most dressed up I ever got for a show. I wasn't on the floor, but I was 4th row in a wing that was about 7 feet off the floor. This stage is up pretty high, so I was basically at level with the stage which was better imo

coping with the trauma of having had a meth head gun nut pull a loaded gun on me (long story, but THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED) by getting into homestuck. all my fav ships are canon as of homestuck^2 except dirkjake got DONE DIRTY, tho even that is narratively appropriate on some meta level in ways that i lack the ability to articulate, and maybe its the trauma talking but dude??? i fucking love this shit. it's so dumb and meta. yiffy is gr8. like. i cannot think of anywhere that a dubiously canonical continuation of homestuck could have ended up besides. fucking. YIFFY. like. what was anyone expecting. this shit sucks, probably, idk, my media literacy is more dubious than the canon status of this shit, just???, w/e i love it,
whatever else tho???, god i just above all else love canon davekat. this is so extremely my shit. ppl got strong opinions abt homestuck but mine are so simple and i love it that way. hahahahaha davekat fucking each other on a dryer while their laundry is getting done. roxy has to have a Don't Fuck On The Dryer convo with Dave later. that's so real. i love it. they love each other. also Roxy is so Gender i love him.

a musical confession: i tend to have a dislike for over-the-top skilled, powerhouse vocals that showcase a wide range of ability in a song. i prefer unique tones and varying vocal ranges, especially not 100% perfect key singing live and feelings that they can convey. i think when there are unique tones, i can appreciate what they have to bring to a song more so than just skill. my answer to question 2 as an example, but i have a whole list of my fav singers 😎

Hi guys,
Isn’t it just typical me that just as a pandemic started which meant the world had to wear face masks I decided I love lipstick again. Typical me I know. Since I can’t go shopping at the moment I decided to shop my own lip stick collection for a new liquid lip.
Sounds a little dramatic I know but I have all my makeup organsied almost like a store front display so I honestly get a good kick out of it when I browse it. Today I was looking for a liquid lipstick because in the age of maksk wearing they are by far the most longlasting. After swatching a new shades I found a old fav of mine from the Roxi X Revolution Rid Or Die Lip Kit trio.
This liquid cream lipstick is the shade New York and in this trio for £10.00 she had 3 lip colours named after locations shes been to. This shade is the perfect nude to go with pretty much any eye look. I love nude lipsticks and honestly looking at my lip collection it’s pretty obvious I think. Unlike most liquid lipsticks this formula does not dry your lips out or make them look really rough. This trip comes with 2 nude shades and a dark pink but I would say New York is the shade I wear the most by far.
This is the perfect example of shopping your own makeup collection because 9 times our of 10 you find a out favourite you haven’t worn in ages or something you’ve forgotten. I think everyone including myself gets lost in always looking at the next thing you forget to apperciate what you actually have. So in the case do as a I not as I do. I also organised all my makeup today and bought storage organisers and honetsly was living my best life organising products all afternoon which I love!
