Roxie Hart, esp movie Roxie, is a girl kisser
Think about it
All the musical numbers on the movie are her imagination trying to cope w the situation, right?
SHE'S the one putting these gorgeous women in sexy outfits
Tumblr media
SHE'S the one who imagines a whole ass musical number about Queen Latifah being a sugar mama
Tumblr media
That is NOT heterosexual behavior!!!

do you have a long-lasting homoerotic tension deep enough to want to tear each other apart in every way while also understanding you're dependant on one another for your success / survival or are you normal

Suzette Palmer performing her hit number "Suzette" at the Orpheum Theater, Del Sol Valley, 1926.
This post is CLEARLY inspired by Renée Zellweger's song "Roxie" from the Oscar winning motion picture "Chicago" (2001), and it's once again featuring @simadelics' amazing new vintage hair set which I cannot get enough of :)

if i had a nickel for every time catherine zeta jones played a woman that is very elegant with dark hair and had extreme sexual and romantic tension with a woman with blonde hair i would have two nickels. it’s not a lot but weird that it happened twice right?

do you ever think about roxie hart and velma kelly being in a relationship but not in a mutualistic way but more predatorial or parasitic at least??? they love each other, they hate each other. velma wants to kill roxie and vice versa (but velma more so, i think; there's something about having to stoop while roxie gets to rise that must really really weigh on her conscience) but someone gets something out of it: it just depends on who makes the killing blow, y'know? i like this musical a normal amount.
