When there's an itch you just can't reach. I think this is a Rose Chafer (Cetonia aurata) grub, which apparently helps break down your compost, doesn't eat live roots, and does turn into a beautiful iridescent green beetle. #rosechafer #cetoniaaurata (at Newtown Square, Pennsylvania)
