Детскую комнату на втором этаже Холли без колебаний переделала под рабочий кабинет. Если у нее когда-нибудь и появится ребенок, то точно не в ближайшее время.

Discover TCee's New World: The Save File - Evergreen Harbor
Greetings, fellow Simmers! Join me today as we embark on a journey through Evergreen Harbor in my Family Playstyle Save File.
Nestled amidst the verdant hills of evergreen forests and the tranquil waters of the Willupette Sound, Evergreen Harbor once thrived as the industrial heart of the region. However, as the tides of time shifted, the area has faced challenges in keeping pace with the evolving world. Now, a haven where community bonds and neighborly affection flourish, Evergreen Harbor stands at the crossroads of its destiny, poised to carve out its own future. The question lingers: what path will it choose?
Our expedition commences at Port Promise. Once a bustling trade hub, it now hosts a cluster of residences and establishments that pay homage to its industrial heritage, striving to uphold the local mantra of "Keeping Evergreen Kooky!" Though the bustling port activity has waned, the promise of a brighter tomorrow endures. Within Port Promise, three distinctive abodes beckon: The Old Mill, boasting a rooftop greenhouse; The Portsmouth Promenade, exuding eclectic charm; and The Shipping Views, crafted from ten repurposed shipping containers. At the waterfront community space, one can dabble in fabrication and candle making, or unwind at the local haunt, The Caboose, formerly the train station.
Next, we venture to Conifer Station. What unfolds when the trains cease their rumble? Downtown Evergreen, affectionately dubbed Conifer Station by locals, may echo with a quieter rhythm nowadays, yet its residents fervently attest to a diligent community striving to enhance their slice of paradise. Amidst Conifer Station lie two cozy apartments—Pinecrest Apartment #402 and #403—ideal for small families, along with two homes, one offering a picturesque canal view and the other, Pigulock Manor, a haven of comfort. Sprucewood Square awaits for those seeking activity, whether vending, crafting, or simply mingling with fellow Sims.
Lastly, we journey to Grims Quarry. When prospector Arnold Grims first established his renowned rock quarry in Evergreen Harbor, the emergence of a quaint suburb around it was beyond foresight. Today, nestled beneath the imposing walls of white stone, a snug enclave of residences, apartments, and communal spaces thrives. Among them, two snug apartments, tailor-made for singles or cozy families, stand alongside Rockridge Springs, a modular home fashioned from recycled materials, and Miner Mansion, a spacious abode catering to any family's needs. Don't miss out on exploring The Quarry Building, where gardening, handcrafted goods, and wooden sculptures await your discovery.

(Mizuki and Mina Suzuki)
Mizuki Suzuki is the ex-wife of Caroline Ember, the eldest daughter of Culpepper founder Elsie Ember. Caroline and Mizuki began dating in Spring 4, and tied the knot in Summer 4. Their science baby Mina was born in Summer 4, but their marriage hit a rough patch in the autumn.
Autumn 4 for the Suzuki family: At the beginning of autumn, the relationship between Caroline and Mizuki had cooled somewhat, but neither of them thought much of it. After a minor disagreement about living off the grid with a young baby, Mizuki managed to convince Caroline they should move somewhere with running water and electricity. Caroline continued to be a workaholic, while Mizuki ran the household, which may have contributed to the growing tension between them. After Mina became a toddler, Caroline and Mizuki decided to go for a long weekend in Mount Komorebi, to try and repair their marriage. Instead, the pair ended up insulting one another and enjoying separate activities. The vacation was ended early, and Caroline took the opportunity to start a new career - which really irritated Mizuki. Caroline made the decision to end their marriage, despite Mizuki's protests that Caroline hadn't really tried to do anything to save it. Caroline moved out to San Myshuno, where she'll stay in Brianna Caliente's spare room, while Mizuki stayed in the family home with little Mina.
Mizuki and Mina live at Rockridge Springs in Evergreen Harbour.

;;
Even thinking about buying a house on a one year contract is insane, no matter how much Mike wants to commit to San Francisco; Zaidi is not going to hand him a big contract when he’s a 35 year old UFA. But he’s got six-point-one million dollars burning a hole in his pocket, so he goes to San Francisco early in January, well before preseason, just to look for a good apartment.
He’ll probably end up in some stupid too-expensive condo in Outer Sunset, like he did the last two years, but Tony’s over in Oakland househunting too, so he makes a trip of it. Go to see Tony; go to find a nice place to live.
Tony goes with him around Twin Peaks, then the Mission, then the Presidio, and then they end up back in Outer Sunset, eating breakfast at a bistro Mike used to frequent last year. It has good breakfast sandwiches. The skies are foggy, but Mike’s content with where they are. They saw a condo that he liked more than the other places he’s seen that week.
Tony agreed to spend three days house-hunting with Mike but since it only took Mike two days to end up down the street from where he was last year, Tony claims he has a free day and Mike has to treat him right. “You owe me,” he says, “for making me walk up that hill in Twin Peaks.”
“Oakland’s too flat,” says Mike. “You’re getting weak.” Tony laughs. “Yeah, yeah, keep talking,” he says.
Mike agreed to spend three days househunting with Tony too. Tony’s looking exclusively in Montclair and Upper Rockridge. They’re not talking about it, but Tony’s looking at school districts.
Tony’s out in a year, unless the A’s come to their senses and keep him around for a while. Mike thinks that’s as unlikely as Farhan ever handing him more than a one year contract.
Tony doesn’t have kids, but Mike knows he likes Oakland, knows he’s been looking around. Maybe they’re both thinking about things they can’t have, but Tony’s actually doing something about it.
They walk down to the beach after breakfast. Sand dunes have covered over the road, making the street gritty under their shoes. Neither of them dressed up all that much, but Tony steps carefully to avoid getting sand in his shoes.
The sun is barely visible under the fog. Mike likes Outer Sunset because the Pacific Ocean seems endless but he’s still close to home.
They stand at the top of a path and look out at the ocean spreading before them. The pavement is cracked, as much a victim to coastal erosion as the Great Highway, and in January, the ocean is mostly just gray. Nothing like it is in the Spring or Summer.
“What’s it like at night?” Tony asks. “I know you come here after games sometimes.”
“Dark,” says Mike. Tony frowns at him. Mike laughs. “Light pollution’s too shit to really see any stars, but if it’s dark enough and there’s no one around, sometimes it feels like the ocean might swallow me up if I go too close to the surf.”
“Well,” says Tony. “Don’t do that then.” He laughs. “I don’t want to wake up one day and read that you went missing in the night.”
“Gone too soon,” Mike agrees.
They stare at the ocean for a while and then turn around when it starts to get too misty and damp. They end up back at a coffeeshop Mike always liked last season, warming up over cups of coffee. The barista remembers his order. She remembers Tony’s too.
“You want to see the houses I’ve been looking at?” Tony asks, almost shy about it. Mike grins. “Yeah.”
They’re small, comfortable cottages, one or two bedrooms at most, tucked in quiet corners of streets in neighborhoods Mike’s never been to. They look nice to live in, as welcoming as the apartment Mike signed a one year agreement for earlier that day, with the same potential to create a warm home. None of the houses are furnished, but Tony was smart and kept his furniture from his last two apartments.
He’ll need more though. Mike likes the one with a dining room. “Big enough for a lot of people,” he says.
Tony smiles. “Yeah, that’s the idea.” He takes his phone back from Mike. “Gotta have enough space for the boys.”
“Just the boys?” Mike asks, testing the topic like he’s prodding the sand on the beach to see how compacted it is, if he can walk on it without sinking.
“Well,” says Tony. “You know.”
He grins at Mike, bright and brilliant. “Gotta have enough space.”
Mike smiles back. Pressing a little harder. “Just save a space for me at the table when your family gets big.”
“Head of the table,” says Tony, rolling his eyes. He laughs when Mike opens his mouth to say something but nothing comes out. “Come on, man, you know you always have a seat at my table.”
“Right,” says Mike. He sips his coffee. “I know.”
Tony picks up his cup and salutes him. “Wherever I go,” he says. “Wherever you go. You always have a place with me.”
He sips his coffee. Mike watches him drink and thinks about his next contract and the one after, what happens in his forties, his future.

Too Many Toddlers, Chapter 4
I decided to change things up and instead of selecting Newcrest (like I usually do), I moved them into Evergreen Harbor. The Rockridge Springs lot in Grim Quarry to be exact.

dear may,
i’m writing this as the summer breeze drifts in from the forrest and hits my face as i hang by body out of the second story window, i can see the sunlight and the trees, and the birds dancing in the wind. i love this window, i feel completely healed as i look out of it. and again after another sleepless night where i wake up in the morning in pain and swallow my meds and can’t seem to get up until at least 2 in the afternoon, i go to this window and everything seems okay again. i try to read and end up failing, a job is pointless it would create a loophole in my security, and like everyone else i need to get my learner permit and license. i should probably clean my room too but instead i sit here scrolling on my phone and contemplating life. sometimes my music brings me back but summer is bittersweet. every year is exactly the same; in autumn school starts and i get to fuck around with a new group of friends, life is good and i get a few months of pure happiness. in the winter i love how the cold sunny air stings my face in the mornings but something beyond my reach always falls into fate and i end up suffering to an extreme extent, so much so that it takes all of spring to recover. but by summer i’ve seen hell and my mind is not straight, i can’t breathe or think or be kind. the boring lazy days merge into each other as i lay alone in my bed in piedmont, rockridge wore me out long ago. but i love it here in the summertime as the old man next door sips his wine and i can smell his cigarette smoke from my room. my window on the second story that looks out onto the perlieu where the sun and wind hits my face and i can watch the birds dancing in the breeze, i can’t emphasize how much i love the windows up here. chocolate i bought from rocky’s sits next to my pile of unread books and arizona cans, and it seems my piedmont house is hidden from the rest of the world. summers at the rockridge farmers market on sunday’s, all nighters in my yard with friends, cool days alone in my room, waiting for the pain to end as it took me over and ceased my thoughts.

Rockridge Springs
There really needs to be more grungy places for sims to live, there's not nearly enough. I made this house to match all the other grotty houses in the Grims Quarry neighbourhood of Evergreen Harbor. I like how if you don't do anything with the Community Voting system it stays nice and trashy. Of course you could do it up too!
