Some Garages doodles i did while listening to The Penumbra Podcast. Baby Triumphant, Serene Moss, Mindy Rahman, & River Clembons (& Jesús).

ough idk how much i have that's not like. common lore but i love ruthless so i will take this and run have some primarily coronation era stuff

currently sharing an apartment with hank i think!!! they both needed to get out of the big garage and imo i don't think ruth does well living on vir own and knows that by now

said apartment has a permanent link to siggy imo, as well as one in the big garage

after rivers died kinda had a rough spiral that one day i'll hopefully write about lol but!!! i think there was a week or so after he got back to seattle where hyr and zack both slept in siggy bc vae needed her there

also edric declan and ruthless all get matching tattoos in honour of rivers i think

i hced ruthless as doing both blacksmithing and glassblowing apprenticeships in vir's late teens/early twenties and i think that's something they're probably getting back into a bit these days??? needs the outlet

has been living in boston with zack over this siesta and is getting woodcarving lessons from spears

really struggles with a lot of the new garages lmao but gets along with my josephine i think kdjfhksal

also gets along really well with rivers clembons i think!!! they do a lot of like. quiet vibing

still isn't used to the absence of the dispatch. doesn't know if co ever will be.

ITS 12 AM RN SO I CANNOT RAMBLE COHERENTLY

I don't pay attention 2 popular fanlore & I never participate it, so all my ideas r combined from their names, stats, & whatever other info is on their wiki that isn't lore (ex. Their blood type, any other teams they used 2 b on, etc) ALSO i just started designing the players, so it will change & fluctuate.

Baby's look stemmed 100% from Cecil Palmer from Welcome to Nightvale. I am unsure WHY, but that's where I wanted to lean like... their fashion in2. The word "Triumphant" means, u know, having won something or being successful which makes me think of bragging or being "egotistical".

So, I made Baby a very "outgoing, bright & clashing colours, in ur face" type of character. NOT a "i am better than everyone", just holding themselves higher than... maybe most people would.

Also not shown in the doodles: Baby uses a walker (in my mind anyway) & has cornrows in the shape of a star. As shown below

I based Serene Moss mostly around their name. A very calm & relaxed person & also they r moss. Nothing more 2 it! They have a moss beard & moss covering most of their body + plants & leaves weaved in their hair & stuff. The word "Serene" also makes me think of a god?? I don't know WHY, but I made them wear like... white robes almost. You can't really see it in the doodle, but like imagine a greek statue. That's them. (& now I think they SHOULD actually be a greek statue.... update on serene moss: they are literally a statue covered in moss)

River Clembons.. gestures. They're a river. In my design I wanted obviously a water character, but less of a coherent water character(?) Like not a human-shaped character that's water, more like a blob-shaped character that's water. That makes no sense. (+ it's not shown well in my doodles) I really wanted River to be very fluid.

1of my 1st ideas was the idea of them shooting the ball out of their arm, instead of them throwing it. I thought that was kind of cool. They also have fish & rocks & stuff floating in them because... theyre water! & then as I was drawing, I wanted w give them more fish features. river -> fish.

Mindy Rahman changes a lot, I cannot keep a design 4 them. But they r buff. That's all I have so far & a bob haircut.... maybe.

also quick thoughts 4 SOME of the other players:

Sheev Shriffle - uses shivs. Or something. Sheev reminds me of shiv, that's immediately what I thought when I saw the word. I need 2 incorporate shivs SOME HOW.

Deion Gamage - is black. That's all I have so far. I am black, so they have 2 b black 2. This is how this works trust me.

Timmy Vine - needs a plant theme. Their last name is literally Vine. Eitherthat OR theyre a viner cuz thats funnier.

so i have been keeping track of which blaseball players have never left their team’s roster, whether that was due to incineration, shadows, or other team swaps. i posted about this two weeks ago (32 players) and also last week (21 players). obviously things this week are a little... funky, so i’m presenting three lists

these eight players have unconditionally never lost their roster slot:

Baby Triumphant (Firefighters)

Basilio Mason (Tacos)

Denzel Scott (Spies)

Esme Ramsey (Shoe Thieves)

Lou Roseheart (Firefighters)

Snyder Briggs (Shoe Thieves)

Stu Trololol (Shoe Thieves)

Swamuel Mora (Firefighters)

these five players were on dead teams, but continued playing:

Chambers Simmons (Flowers)

Malik Destiny (Garages)

Ronan Jaylee (Steaks)

Thomas Dracaena (Millennials)

these three players were on teams that got nullified:

** Kennedy Loser (Crabs)

Qais Dogwalker (Dale)

Rivers Clembons (Dale)

as per usual, kennedy loser is an edge case, because in addition to the nullification they were temporarily out of commission while the crabs were ascended.

additionally, we are down to three players who never missed a game for any reason (including being elsewhere): esme ramsey (24 seasons as a batter, ~2400 games), snyder briggs (24 seasons as a pitcher, ~450 games), and chambers simmons (17 as a pitcher + 7 as a batter, ~1050 games)

okay here is a fun fact. in the siesta between season 3 and season 4, we had the wyatt masoning and subsequent unmasoning. what fewer people know: for some reason (presumably testing purposes) three unrelated players also got masoned and demasoned. it was rivers clembons on the dale, summers preston on the wings, and... i want to say marco stink on the steaks but i genuinely don't remember

ANYWAYS i think that's interesting! i like summers, i think she is an interesting character (and like i enjoy the out-of-my-comfort-zone things like "writing from the perspective of summer personified") and there is something interesting to me about that level of losing yourself and whatnot

on tuesday afternoon during s23 i made a post about how many blaseball players from season one had never left their original active slot in their roster, whether that’s due to incineration, shadows, or swapping teams. at the time i made that post there were 32 players who fit that criteria. today, sunday evening, just after s23 elections, over a third of them are gone. here are the 21 who are left:

* baby doyle and rat mason briefly left their respective teams’ rosters for the rising stars boss battle, but they were also returned onto their teams. they’re still on this list for the time being.

** kennedy loser played every game for the crabs, but the crabs were gone for season 11 and 12.

in a different post i looked at how many players had never missed a game on their original team, ever, at all, including because they were elsewhere or shelled. at this point we are down to exactly one: esme ramsey has played in every single shoe thieves’ game since season 1, approximately 2300 games.
