After seeing a pic I couldnt help but imagining Zhongli letting you hitch a ride on his tail and letting you comfortable sleep on it. It happens when he has his possessive phases, wants to annoy your other husbands or when you get low and just need more sleep <3 (Btw, he is strong enough to just do his activities with you sleeping back there)

ⲇⳑ ⲏⲇⳕτⲏⲇϻ ᡣ𐭩 makes sure to tick all the steps in 'how to care for a sick person' book. but also he takes all the things that his grandparents do for him whenever he got sick ᰔᩚ like making me soup and (if i plead enough times) humming a calming lullaby to help me sleep hehe

I am so fucking GIDDY because My Childe hit 456k yesterday and BOI IS THIS A RUSH
So here enjoy a rushed piece Oh my god why do people do drugs this feeling is so much better AAAAGGH
Zhongli knew he wasn't a first choice of a damage dealer. His shield was one of the best and he did take pride in this fact that he could protect his team collegues well. But as you replaced his artifacts empowered with your divinity with something else, he could feel his power raising; and his shield weakening. It was like a high of unknown origin - the last time was when he just grew into his power in the Archon War and realized that he could feel Tevyat responding to him. This world was your child but for the first and last time, he could be anything.
He arrived with his team collegues in Sumeru, near the City of Wisdom, entering the domain of a forgotten god that never was. Zhongli sometimes wondered about the many domains littering Tevyat and how many vision wielders faced off against enemies in them, but he cut his musings short upon seeing the familiar door leading to the condensing god.
The adventurer from Mondstadt, Bennett; The fireworker from Inazuma, Yoimiya; And Ningguang from his city.
At the beginning, he did wonder if this was a punishment, revealing his strength and past to other vision holders carefreely. But not once did they talk about their past or from others. Zhongli thinks it just shows the deep respect they have for you.
As the fight progressed, he did grew worried. He was still protecting the others with his shield, but due to the changed artifacts, he performed worse then expected - His shield sometimes on the verge of breaking before he could recast it fast or risk injuring his teammates.
But then, the mechanical god feel to his knees, and they all followed the glowing lights to the plattform. He felt You guiding everyones moves; the adventurer exploding his energy on the ground; the young fire mistress shooting in the air; and the Qixing expanding her shield.
And his energy reached its peak. He could feel his veins pulsating on his arms and knew his eyes and hair glowed from that much energy and he fuelled everything into his signature. He gritted his teeth and pushed down the urge to change into his form as a godling, casting the meteor on this forgotten god.
Normally, they needed many consecutive attacks to defeat it.
But as they feel to the ground and the unknown god retreating into flashing lights, all he could feel with every bit of his soul - He needed to make you his.
