Recently made this blue knit skirt and orange dress for my dolls! The orange dress is edged with blue machine-embroidered flowers. The skirt is made from a yoke pattern from the Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible by Hitomi Shida, and it's knit with a yarn that has sequins throughout.

Got in my resinsoul Shan body for my LT Craft head. She's eventually getting dyed light pink with some black accents.

I also ordered the Li upper torso for my bunny hybrid wip.

And Shan's antlers because I'm a horn addict. Since this head already has extra magnets in her head I used her to try out the antlers.

I'm gonna be selling my 2017 ResinSoul Mei (Li body with additional Lu hands in "normal skin") + some clothes, wigs, eyes, boots. She is a Slim MSD (1/4).

Also comes with the COA (card of authenticity), original box, pillow, and original carrying bag.

She's gently used, no face up, I think I had her out for a couple months and then packed her away. Her head cap hook (has a hook on one side and magnet on the other) snapped off but was glued back in place and doesn't seem to effect it. Otherwise she has no damage and if there's any yellowing it's even. But like I said she's been packed away since probably 2018 lol.

Asking $200usd + ship from Canada, but I'm also open to local pick up if folks are in the Toronto area! May be open to drop off, but that's a hard maybe. We can talk about it tho and see if it's possible. :3

The problem with dolls is that we introject all our dolls and thus alters exist of them. We bought this Resinsoul Li to shell Eden after we sold her original sculpt to raise money for an ex (big mistake! he cheated on us and the doll was a limited edition) but even though she DID look pretty with this sculpt, this doll had other ideas for what he wanted. You know what I love? Microcelebrities like Sunny the English Language Customer Service Rep for ResinSoul. They do not know they're famous but every so often there's a page online where someone's like "I ordered a li with chung head and centaur feet where each individual piece was a different pantone reference and some of it was transparent and a custom face up that I described as vaguely as possible and she didn't order a hitman on me and the custom order charge was very reasonable, I would die for her". I haven't ordered shit from ResinSoul or logged into Den of Angels for like 2 years but I still remember her name. Unless it's not Sunny then I guess I didn't.

Reshelling + Improvement over one year

The makeup is more or less the same look: Pinkish-Red around the eyes and along bridge of the nose, heavy black eyeliner, and black lips. 

The execution has changed: Mr. Super Clear instead of Testor’s Dullcote, eyeliner and lashes on newest version were done with gouache rather than watercolor pencil, custom blend of pastels (ochre, grey, and brown) in order to achieve a blonder brow with grey and olive watercolor pencil with white gouache for highlighting, eyeshadow is done lightly in multiple layers as opposed to stacking it on in three layers and magenta micro-glitter is applied for shimmer, the newest version has more blushing on cheeks and forehead, and lipstick is done in many layers with black gauche lines for detail. Finally, the newest version has 3-D eyelashes, isn’t dressed in literal rags, has body blushing, and has a much more convincing wig which was rather affordable. 

What I learned: Working in several smaller layers makes for a smoother effect, stacking on colors will make your doll look muddy, gauche isn’t your enemy and is a very forgiving paint, unless your watercolor pencils are absolutely silky smooth don’t rely on them too much or you’ll end up with a rough finish, blending out is very important, invest in kneaded and mechanical erasers, Tamiya gloss is worth it, USE REFERENCES AND WATCH MAKEUP TUTORIALS!!!!, and finally, there’s nothing wrong with wiping away your work and trying again.

Now that I'm posting it, I realize her lips need work... but so do Charlie's, so I can knock that out at some point! Charlie also needs to have her strings tightened bc she's super floppy. But I'll have more time to do doll stuff with school out!

Redressed my girls last night. Their dresses, shoes, and the one necklace are all made by me!

A couple of doll plans I have brewing.

1: LT Craft head on a resinsoul shan body, with taobao hands I picked up second hand(huhuhu). Dyed over all light pink, but black hooves/horns and arm gradients.

2: Logan dolls head, fairyland tan legs, and a resinsoul Li upper torso modded the fuck out to fit the legs(expecting copious amount of superfine white milliput). Head and torso in white, probably color match the ears to the legs.
