I love Astaroth so much, but he’s definitely needed a bit of an overhaul for a while. I’m finally addressing some easy fixes (thinned out his much-too-voluminous wig and I’m gonna try to make him eyes with smaller irises), but unfortunately his body will have to wait. He’s only borrowing this one. I’d like to see him on something taller with broad shoulders, perhaps Dollstown 17 or 18. Still mulling it over but I won’t be able to afford it for a while anyway 😂

I’m not dead and I still own dolls! I just haven’t had the space to play with them for the past year, but that’s changing slowly as my wife and I get the living room in order.
I finally got around to taking a picture I’ve wanted to take for a while, a body comparison of ALL of Soom’s 65cm+ male bodies.
Let me know if you want any specific comparisons between parts, like hands or such. I’m happy to take some more pics of my beefcake herd.
Now let’s watch this post full of nekkid resin men get flagged and have to go through the appeal process. (Maybe Garion’s dark red resin will throw the algorithm off.)

My tiny mermaid came in!!
Look how cute and colorful the box is! 😊
Okay....okay hold on. I knew it was tiny but holy smokes!!!
Pictures don't do it justice this doll is TINY!!!! I'm gonna need tweezers to get this dolls eyes in. It's joints work really well for how small it is surprisingly. The elbow have a single joint, the tail does have a tiny peanut joint to bend the tail a bit more than 90 degrees and a slot to bend at the waist where the tail connects to the body. In the lucky bag I got what looks like alcohol? I'm not sure..
It has the tiniest magnets for the head plate and they are pretty secure
Here is the knee joint folded as far as it goes. They have a sort of lip that secures the joint kinda locking it into place. The doll can sit up when the tail is flat out in front of it but it can't sit on its knees
Overall I'm blown away with how small this is. It's almost anxiety inducing how small it is and that I could snap or break something if I'm not careful. It's also going to be a logistical challenge to find not only eyes that fit but trying to make it a wig and finding a faceup artist willing to take on such a tiny doll. Still I'm glad to have this in my collection.

To all the people saying cheap dolls are ugly (as an argument to buy a recast). No, they’re not. You just need a good concept and either good hand or a hired hand.
AoD SD size dolls are like, $265 for brand new, blank doll, dammit.
