Though I'm unsure this will reach the right people, I need to speak my mind about the reaction to the Shubble situation.

I am overwhelmed with reassurance by how this community is supporting Shubble.

A part of me heals every time I see everyone continue to recognize that Shubble is the most important person in the room.

I am proud that we are supporting the victim.

But I do have to stress that we haven't stopped the support of the Abuser, Wilbur Soot.

While it's amazing to see the community come together for Shubble, and that we have already hurt Wilbur's reputation.

I am still afraid it's not enough.

Wilbur still has a fanbase, he still has reach. But most importantly: He has INFLUANCE.

Though I am already seeing the effects of this community's endless support of Shelby already reaching his fanbase, I can't ignore the people who haven't left.

I know that I can't speak for everyone, but it's hard to immediately cut ties with someone like Wilbur. He was someone that I used to look up to and admire. It was painful to let go of the comfort I found in him. But I still found a way to leave him.

Right now people are slowly learning more about the situation through videos on YouTube and posts here on Tumblr, but there are still people who are blindly supporting Wilbur.

As someone who doesn't use Twitter, which is where everything is taking place, I had to learn about the situation from Tumblr users fighting over Wilbur's innocence.

Which was two days before his apology was screenshotted and reposted on Tumblr.

Before Wilbur's shitty apology, there were only two videos on YouTube discussing Shelby's VOD and Wilbur's allegations, now confirmed, of his involvement as the Abuser.

With the only informative video being a quick summary of Shelby's VOD and all the main arguments for Wilbur being the abuser. Which, as I'm now making this post, the YouTubers who made those videos have yet to update the current situation.

Though there are more "informative" videos on YouTube now, they still lack both reach and current facts. With only one in particular having both requirements, xetn4's video which I'll link here: Why do my heroes become horrible people. (youtube.com).

But while xent4 has made a solid video that has checked these boxes without being clickbait, that video still only has 10k views (as of now).

Sure that's nothing to sneeze at, but that 10k compared to Wilbur's 6 million subscribers (as of now) pales in comparison.

And that's not even mentioning how his video is the only one that doesn't feel like people trying to hop onto the "Fuck Wilbur Soot" train before it leaves, using it as clickbait for views.

But even with how ungenuine those videos are they still only have a thousand views at best.

And while posts here on Tumblr have been reaching nearly a thousand notes overnight, they still don't have the proper reach.

Again, I cannot stress enough how little reach this situation has outside of Twitter.

Because while the support for Shelby has affected Wilbur's fanbase, I'm still afraid it isn't enough.

And with every day that passes my fear that this situation will be swept under the rug and forgotten only increases because I'm already watching the numbers fade with every day.

Because as long as the situation stays on Twitter, as long as people read Wilbur's apology without knowing it's about Shelby, the less people are going to know the very real threat Wilbur poses as an abuser with a fanbase.

And yes, to clarify the apology, people are going to shrug it off without knowing the heaviness of his words. Wilbur wasn't afraid to say Shelby's name, he was ensuring a safety net, a loophole.

Because if you read his apology without any of the facts, then it ensures that you stay ignorant and continue to support him under the guise of him "getting better".

And I'm not assuming here, because I've already seen it happen with my friends. Just showing them Wilbur's isolated apology multiple of my friends have asked me why it matters so much "he's already apologized and is getting better, so what's the problem?".

The problem is that Wilbur is dangerous.

And as long as someone can read Wilbur's apology without Shelby's name or the facts, then they will continue to think that everything's taken care of and that nothing has changed.

I can already picture that without Tumblr I would also be one of those people and would still be blissfully ignorant as I happily listen to Lovejoy thinking about Wilbur's next upload.

This is the very thing that is happening as long as we allow this situation to stay contained on Twitter. Because if we don't spread the facts and get the proper reach, we are allowing Wilbur to keep his peace.

His peace which was the exact thing that kept Shelby silent in the first place, hell it might even be the reason why the VOD was taken down to begin with!

Wilbur is dangerous and shouldn't be allowed peace.

Wilbur doesn't deserve a fanbase and we need this situation to reach the proper audience, his audience before it's too late.

Always Believe the victims.

Don't support the abusers.

Support Shubble.

Stop Wilbur Soot.

Aaaaand I'm going on a rant now. People don't really view tumblr users the same way they do accounts on platforms they are active on themselves... I think over there they understand it's nice to see a notif come in and so they do the same for others, meanwhile tumblr is some other plane of existence where we do not require the same treatment and a post can sit on 2 reblogs but have 40K likes on someones instagram on your explore page (this actually happened to me)... and the amount of times I've seen a completely deepfried screenshotted post of mine that's been taken to twitter then to instagram over to a tiktok and then part of a youtube compilation post, one that would sit on less than 100 notes, one that got who knows how many interactions each step of that journey, and none of that response ever reaching me, while I made it. (not to mention the follow button is visible in the screenshot more often than not) Also. I'm out here writing posts first of all mainly for myself but in a way tailored to my bubble, tailored to you, to the people I see in my notifs. You're in the back of my mind when writing it, the fucking tiktok horde isn't. If someone grabs that and runs with it.. it's not meant for twitter or tiktok like I haven't written it in a way for that .. bubble.. to understand, it's for my tumblr friends who I know will have context. Like there's a baseline of understanding in this place that's not there on other platforms. And I try to spell some things out sometimes just in case it'll reach some new people, other times I'm just shitposting for my friends yk. So don't bring it somewhere it just brings up questions in a pool of people not capable of answering it without notifying the person who wrote it, leaving it up for interpretation out in a void of "WHAT" and "I-" and "HUH"'s like that's just a bit frustrating when it's your words yk. (ok that got sidetracked)

But to get back to the post in question, this might be where they got it from by the way.. i mean .. its.. nice to see the peoples reactions? 💀

Anyway to anyone taking screenshots of posts on here and taking it to other platforms: Just fucking interact with us. Ask Us If You Can Repost. Some people don't mind the reposting, others you're making very very uncomfortable. Because exposing the @ of someone's blog they consider their safe space to an audience they don't know is scary as fuck, especially because there's an anon ask option on this hellsite. Like the thing is you're possibly sending anon hate our way. EDIT: And this does not mean repost anyway but cut our @'s off because then you're cutting off the source and not crediting and that's even worse. I'm just saying some people don't want you to repost at all for this reason, please don't fucking repost without credit. Anyway the point is if you like a post enough to repost it, follow OP and reblog (that like button doesn't do shit. reblog.) the post on tumblr because that's a free happy serotonin boost for OP and the person you're reblogging from. Even if you have a tiny account and nobody will see it, OP does in their notifs and that makes them happy and that's the only thing that matters k. write your response in the rb tags if you want. If you do have a blog but it doesn't fit your content make a sideblog if you have to. Even if it's got 0 followers, on tumblr you can't see that, and it doesnt matter. All that matters is you give OP some interaction and make them happy, instead of .. this. A fking rant post before noon.

Anyways I have this one headcanon of Joseph that I haven't noticeanyone else bring up.

Joseph having physical scars.

Now if this is too serious then you can skip this!

But back to it, Joseph ran away while in high school, he carried a knife and all that, now he's big and strong, there's no way he hasn't gotten into anything physical before. Making me think he has actual scars from said hardships, maybe even some from his home life before he left?

I just this the man would have physical and visible scars, mabe he kinda hides them or something? But ya, that's my personal headcanon...

Don't worry about scars being too serious of a topic. I've dipped my toes into this sort of headcanon before. My MC Alice has one as well, with her Mafia AU counterpart having several.

While we haven't seen any scarring on Jack's naked body even on the teasers posted on the SnaccPop Studios Patreon, that doesn't necessarily mean that Joseph didn't have any scarring. After all, we don't see his tattoos when he's Jack, and he certainly had them as Joseph.

Aside from old sprites shown in the beta version of the demo, the only times we have seen Joseph out of makeup are in this tinted photo, and in teasers where he's dead and probably rotting. While the sprites from the beta show no signs of scarring, the game is still in development and we haven't seen what Joseph's new sprite looks like unclothed.

Obviously we see damage to his body where he's a ghost(?), but we see those same exposed parts in the photo of him out of makeup without any such damage. That isn't to say that there aren't any scars that he's able to hide underneath his clothes.

Now, the fact that Joseph carried a knife around with him does hint that he was prepared to fight, if nothing else. In a picture that Sauce drew and posted publicly on their old twitter, a (presumably) teenage Joseph was shown covered in scrapes and bandages.

While this is technically not canon unless it appears on the Sunny Day Jack twitter, tumblr, or another official game page it would make sense given we have hints that he was a troublemaker.

Now... when it comes to Joseph's home life, the only solid hint we have is what the psyche consultant assessed about him. Assuming the consultant was correct, his parents might have said they loved him, but didn't mean it, even early in his life. I suspect that he was neglected, ignored and forgotten, which was why I think he acted up and turned into a punk. Even bad attention is still attention, you know?

That isn't to say that there couldn't have been some abuse going on in his house when he was growing up. It's entirely possible that he learned bad habits from his parents/guardians, which included lashing out at others weaker than them.

Then there was the period of time when Joseph was homeless. The sad truth is that people who have to live life on the streets are constantly in danger. Even if he escaped his hometown unscarred, that doesn't mean he couldn't have been scarred literally and metaphorically while he was struggling to survive on his own.

As for my own personal headcanon on the subject, I can't say that I have any strong inclination either way.

Typically when I add scars to a character, I like to attach a significant moment or change in their life that has affected them permanently. For example, Alice got her scar when Ian cheated on her, and in the Mafia AU her scars were from when she was trafficked.

If I were to give Joseph a scar in any of my writing/headcanons, it would be because I thought of an interesting incident to go with it that I wanted to write and/or mention.

As it is, I'm more inclined not to give Joseph scars, at least none significant enough to make mention of. From a narrative stance, the tattoos serve as scars, which, well, tattoos kind of are already. They are permanent markings made to his skin with a needle. They're scars that say a lot about him, ones he chose to have and regrets now.

Then of course there's the damage his body has taken due to his death, which is reflected in his putrefaction and blood. This state of decay draws far more attention than any scar would, and is a direct reflection of the trauma he faced from his death. So in this case, the zombie-like state would be another type of scarring Joseph suffers from.

These are pretty significant parts of his character. As a writer, I'm concerned that adding more scars might muddle the significance of how the tattoos and the rotting damage/alter his body and affect his mental state.

That isn't to discourage anyone from headcanoning Joseph with scars that he hides under his clothes. Hell, I might come up with an idea later on down the line that enamors me. At the moment though, I would rather keep focus on the mistakes of Joseph's past and his death that have left such a deep scar on him that he chooses to be someone else entirely in the present.

Somehow only today I found your non-pixel art artworks on the Instagram page through one of your posts here and I love it! Never seen them on Twitter before, I think. Is there a special reason for such separation of styles? Will you be posting more of it here on Tumblr?

When I started drawing "seriously" instagram was the best social platform to share art: there were no stories and reels, just images, so it was natural for me to use it. Over time, however, the nature of instagram has changed, it became increasingly difficult to get noticed among the posts and, with the desire to "become famous", on the advice of a friend I decided to create a Twitter account, where according to him it was easier to grow. (I'm ashamed of it, but in those days I was really obsessed with likes and followers) So when I started on Twitter I was just reposting the same things as Instagram and if I'm not mistaken at the time I was participating in the October challenge "Season of Bad Guys" organized by Craig Gleason on instagram. They were the same posts on two different platforms with a different level of interaction, on Twitter if I reached 5 likes it was a lot. Apparently growing up on Twitter wasn't as easy as I was told... However I felt that I didn't like Instagram anymore, several years had passed and I was always the small fish in a sea that was too big, I hadn't managed to make friends with any other artist and my list of followers had turned into a phone book, there were only people who followed me because they knew in real life. So, when I started making pixelart for fun, I decided to start completely from scratch and rather than create a new instagram account, I preferred to use the twitter account I already had. And so, my twitter became exclusively pixelated. However, I continue to do digital art, in fact last year I also followed a course in digital painting and concept art, and even if I like it and sometimes I miss dedicating myself completely to that, unfortunately pixelart is the only thing that has made me earn some money. Tumblr is a whole new world, I haven't quite figured out how to use it yet, but it might be the next platform I run off to to escape the stressful things about Twitter. So I don't know, maybe there's a new quarantine and I'm going to study 3D modeling and I'm dedicating this account only to lowpoly characters. Excuse me if I wrote a ton of stuff, I really like chatting and twitter has never allowed me to do so much in a single post, to make it up to you here is an illustration which is neither on twitter nor on instagram.

Vent Post

Please skip if you don't have the space right now! I'm just frustrated and looking for advice if anyone has some. Details below the cut.

The Complaint:

I have an NSFW sideblog. Sometime around the end of last year or beginning of this year, it got shadowbanned. I don't know when it happened because I didn't know shadowbanning existed on tumblr. All I knew was that fics from 2022 got several hundred notes and the most popular fic I posted this year (a list that included several continued works) got about fifteen notes total.

I spent four months working on fics for an event I do in February, but I got almost no interaction from anything I posted. It felt like I had just sacrificed literal months of my life (including holiday time I could have been spending with family) to work on stuff no one cared about.

All of that contributed heavily to the writer's block. I like to think I write mostly for myself, but seeing those numbers? I figured my works were either dropping in quality or I was just a content farm. Neither of those theories put me in a great creative headspace, leading to the writer's block I'm still trying to get over.

I sent a ticket to the staff account, letting them know about my issues and requesting to fix the sideblog. Well, since I'm shadowbanned, I didn't get a email saying that my request has been received, but they don't want multiple submissions, so I'm trying to let it ride. My other options are using a different email (I'd rather not) to get a ticket number or tweeting them (I really don't want to create a Twitter account) in hopes of a faster response.

Today, I created another sideblog as a stop-gap, to repost my fics and hopefully get some interaction on them. Just as a way to release pressure since I'm sitting on over 100,000 words of fic that most people haven't seen. The fic I reposted isn't showing up in any of the tags, which leads me to assume even new sideblogs I create are shadowbanned.

I am beyond frustrated right now.

Diary of a Twitter refugee

I have officially stopped following just about everyone I used to follow on Twitter because I like it more here. I suddenly realized that I hadn't written, retweeted, replied to, or even liked a tweet in a long time, until one post came across my timeline about TREE LAW and I responded to it like it had come across my dash and I realized I only enjoyed the tweet because I was treating it like Tumblr so I decided to leave. I haven't deleted the account because I don't think my local member of the legislative assembly is getting a Tumblr, but for content Twitter is no longer the place.

It has actually been a bit hard coming to Tumblr, not because I think I don't fit in, but because it seems Tumblr thinks I don't. I see a good number of posts deriding Twitter refugees as a group, talking about how none of us work with the culture of Tumblr, we're too dunk-focused, or political, or whatever. For me, that was a part of Twitter I carefully avoided, and even though I can think, in my little brain "they don't mean you, it's the bad Twitter refugees they're talking about"... I've not really seen many, so I don't know if I am actually different to them.

My history with Tumblr was that in high school, my friends had it (I even sort of had a post get ~200 notes by telling my friend to post it to her Tumblr on my behalf) then I saw the way Tumblr trickles out to the wider web: reposted memes, history videos created by YouTubers who were themselves active parts or at least observing from across Tumblr as the communities they describe rose and fell. Through this time, though, I never made a Tumblr, because it was the website for people who liked talking to each other about the things they liked, and I didn't like to share, to remember that the books I was reading were less than my personal portal into an extant alternate world. Then, once Twitter started falling apart, I realized there was nothing really stopping me from using Tumblr as a replacement, as a... blog to post my writing, and a way to follow content I enjoy.

Since I've been here, I've even started engaging in fandom. People have liked posts I've written about things I like. One of my original pieces of writing even got reblogged. I like to think Tumblr is right for me, but the doubts, the thoughts of "you should have gotten a Tumblr when you were fourteen, weathered the storms of teenage dysfunction if you really wanted to fit in here" never really leave me.

reposting this from my twitter account cuz a lot of people are crazy for this stuff here, and tumblr doesn't have a character limit (i think)

so, about spamton's lines in BIG SHOT.

spamton says the first three letters of "now's your chance to be a" are "F I N", which is weird, because nyctba has no lyrics that have those letters in them.

the only lyrics in nyctba are "NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A BIG SHOT" edited in various ways, but the sentence is the same

the only song with lyrics besides that are, well... "BIG SHOT", which has an odd mumbling part that everyone speculates on with no concrete answer confirmed by toby fox or the other devs.

however this brings to mind a certain interpretation that i haven't seen before until recently. this post by playcentermd on twitter might be the real solution if we consider the second line to be accurate.

with FIN being the first three letters of BIG SHOT's mumbling section, as spamton said, and with the spamton plush having the most clear version of that clip so far, i have devised this potential translation:

"FINGERS COMING FROM THE END OF THE PHONE

THE HANDS WAIT TIL YOU'RE ALL ALONE

IT PULLS THE STRINGS AND MAKES THEM RING

UNTIL YOUR HEART STARTS BREAKING UP

the fingers and hands make the most sense, since gaster has been speculated as the man who speaks in hands that the river person speaks of. especially considering, well, fingers and hands ARE used in wingdings, and every puppet has its puppeteer...

Masamune Act 2 Plot Summary

Hey friends, good to see y'all again.

So, over on twitter, a friend (@snow-and-saltea) was wanting to get back into IkeSen after some time away and I had just finished giving some thoughts on the routes that I have been playing and they were curious about Masa's second act since I had gushed about it so much. So, I decided to gather my thoughts about it to give a plot summary for them. Took a day and wrote it up, saw that I had basically gushed for about 2100 words, and thought it was going to be a nightmare to repost to twitter, so I sent them a google doc of it instead.

Then, got to thinking about it and decided that I could put this on tumblr as well. Kind of like a call back to when I used to do an essay series reviewing various routes of whatever otome I was playing.

This essay will cover the basics of Masamune's Act 2, with some references to his Romantic route end and his Eternal End. Since it is a plot summary, there are going to be spoilers for a good portion of the route. I don't cover every single detail that went on in the route, I'm just covering some basic stuff along with some analysis. Should also say that as of this writing, I haven't done his Tragic End yet, so that will not be included in this summary. Maybe another time when I'm feeling braver about it.

Anyway, onto the summary!

Masa's Act 2, like what I'm assuming the rest of the Act 2s are gonna be like, follows the events following their Eternal End.

For Masa's Eternal End in particular, his is focused more on exploring his want to be seen as strong all the time and why he has a hard time showing and or talking about his weakness and insecurities. It's kind of touched upon in his Romantic ending too when he would say super sweet things to MC when he thought she was fully asleep. Not that he wouldn't say romantic and sweet things to her when she was awake, he just didn't want her seeing him in an uncool state if he said the super-super sweet things.

With his Eternal End, there was a look into his past via MC talking to his old mentor and to his top vassal and confidant Kojuro. They tell the story of a quiet, sickly little boy that Masa was before Kojuro cut his eye out, about how he hated how weak and powerless he felt, his not-so-great relationship with his family, plus the trauma brought on from having to kill his dad. Basically, Masa bottles up a lot of negativity about himself which isn't a good thing to do, but Eternal End seemed to hint he's slowly opening up to the idea that sharing that shameful side of himself to MC isn't such a bad thing, that she doesn't care about his flaws, she loves him for all of his parts.

Act 2, well, it really brings his 'shameful side' out in full view and puts it to the test. How much can Masa handle before his 'cool' persona starts to fall away?

MC and Masa are returning to Azuchi after they hear about it being attacked, only for her to see that her Traveler's Guide is now blank. Not only that, but MC is starting to experience some memory loss, in particular about things she used to know from the future. The first instance is her forgetting how to make ruffles, which is troubling because she loves all things sewing, so for her to forget something like that makes both of them feel ill at ease. Not that Masa let's her see that, she's scared so he does his best to soothe her, wifey’s needs come first. Can’t have her being scared, it’s a ‘not good’ in Masa’s book. Once she's asleep (a la his romantic route’s ending), he expresses his worries to her and how he's gonna find some way to restore her memories back to her.

But the trouble doesn't end there. Both him and Ieyasu receive word from their respective provinces that they were being attacked, so they couldn't stay and help Nobu with the growing threat of Motonari and Kicho. Yasu takes off to Mikawa while Masa goes back to Oshu with MC in tow. From there, her amnesia gets progressively worse as she forgets more things about the future. She can't remember her family, when or where she was born, what certain things are called, and it starts to freak her out. Masa tries his best to help her remember things she's told him about the future, like about different kinds of foods or about cars and roller coasters, but her memory is still deteriorating.

Then, we're given one painful reminder from his main route after another. Masa had taken her on a scouting mission but they were ambushed. She tries her best to stay hidden but a lit gun rolls her way. She might have forgotten about all her future sewing knowledge, but she still remembers how to use a gun from Mitsuhide's teachings in the main route. She sees Masa about to get hit, calls to him to get down, and fires the gun. She misses and hits a tree, but still, she fired the gun at a person!

Because of an incident in his Main route, Masa got hurt because of her inability to fire on a guy that would have most certainly killed her if Masa hadn't come along. And there was a big to-do about when he stopped her from firing on Kenshin, that she didn't have to destroy herself and her beliefs to save him by killing someone. That she should leave the reckless dangerous stuff to him and how much he would hate himself if she lost her smile by having to destroy her beliefs.

Because of these previous incidents, we know that MC is against hurting another, no matter the cost to herself. But, because of this memory loss, MC did something that was against her moral code (attempting to kill someone to save Masa) and it disturbed both of them. She's shaken when she realizes what she had almost done, and, once again, Masa tries his best to comfort her, but if this memory loss thing didn't bother him before, it was definitely bothering him now.

Following that incident, MC loses her ability to make expressions. She can't smile or cry, her face now like that of a doll. Masa tries to make the best of it by having her do expressive gestures instead, like her hands on her face for surprise, or to give him hugs when she wants to say she loves him.

MC also notices that her body is slower to respond, like not being able to move her hand a certain way. As you'd expect, this comes back to bite them both in the ass.

Now, Kenshin comes after him for some reason (his reasoning is not really explained well, I'm just assuming that the plot needed for him to come do something, so Kenshin's here to cause chaos) but Kicho interferes with their fight, raining arrows on Masa's tropes. Masa tries to pull MC up with him so they can get away, but her body refuses to move, thanks to her new symptom of temporary paralysis, first hinted at before when she lost her ability to express emotions on her face. Masa gets hit by a poison arrow when MC suddenly can move again. They have to get away before the poison takes hold. So, they jump onto his horse and try to escape but guess who comes to stop them.

Kicho, the bastard.

MC pleads with him to move, but he refuses. Masa is getting weaker and more delirious from the poison, so MC has to think fast about what to do. Masa wants to fight Kicho but MC thinks it's dumb for him to fight in his increasingly weakening state.

So, she does possibly the worst thing she can do to Masamune.

She ties his hands to his horse, jumps down, and sends that horse off from the battlefield as he screams after her, having to watch in horror as Kicho comes up behind her and slices her back open. Masa basically gets to watch his loved ones die in front of him all over again. Fun times!

But! MC isn't dead! Matter of fact, she crawls her way to Kicho and gets him to save her life, which, surprisingly, he does! Wild.

MC's in and out of consciousness, sometimes talking to Kicho, sometimes having fever dreams about Masa. Kicho eventually leaves to do his dastardly schemes. The next person that finds her is Kanetsugu, Kenshin's top vassal. He had met with MC and Masa in a previous joint investigation of Kicho. And he stays with MC because leaving a defenseless, injured woman to die is ridiculous. He patches her up and listens as she laments her horrible actions, of putting Masa in the position of reliving his worst trauma and how much she wants to apologize for doing him so, so dirty.

Because Kanetsugu is a good guy, he gives her a proposition. If she's still sick and hurting in the morning, he'd take her to the nearest village with a doctor and she could go about her way afterwards. But, if she was feeling well enough to travel, he'll take her as close as he can to Masa's base camp, to see if he's still alive. And, true to his word, he takes her as close as he can.

Meanwhile, back with Masa, he drinks as much water as he can to nullify the poison. You can hear the defeat in his voice as he says 'it's always poison, isn't it, Kojuro?' (I don't think it's explicitly stated in IkeSen, but Masa never had a good relationship with his family, his mother in particular. She tried to poison him so his younger brother could take the position of clan head, according to wikipedia. It's more explored in SLBP's version of Masa (thus how I knew about it), but we're here for IkeSen Masa, so that discussion will have to happen another time) He does his own lamenting, that finding and keep love was never meant for someone like him, already losing two people he cared about, that he was too weak and powerless to protect them.

But, he soon finds his resolve again. He wants to find MC again, dead or alive, and live his life so she and others after her can smile in the future. Still weakened from the poison, but determined, he decides to face Kenshin again head-on (because he still wants to fight Masa, and if he won't fight or is dead, he's gonna take the territory he left behind, it's still kinda dumb), then he was gonna find Kicho and stop him from continuing to ruin the future his beloved came from.

I'm gonna first talk about the Passionate route as that's the one I completed first and then I’ll talk about his Blissful route.

Masa and Kenshin try to face off once again, but they're interrupted again (poor Kenshin, he doesn't get much to do this route). This time it's Motonari who comes to ruin everything and set things on fire.

Literally, everything is on fire. Not even kidding. Fire’s everywhere, man.

MC breaks away from Kanetsugu's group to see Masa, still weak but alive, as he's fighting off Motonari in the flames. Because MC is dumb and still very much injured herself, she tries to go and help Masa, but again, fighting going on, plus, again, everything's on fire!

Motonari finally realizes that maybe setting things on fire wasn't a good idea so he runs off while Masa, still weak and now bleeding and probably a little singed, tries to get away from the flames with MC supporting him, two dumb, weak, stumbling idiots in love. When help from the Oda arrives (they had been tracking Motonari and Kicho and now all our friends are together again, yay!) they both collapse then and there to the ground, clinging to each other.

MC wakes up again back in Azuchi, being attended by Ieyasu, with Masa nearby, still unconscious. He explains that while he would have preferred to treat them apart, he knew one or the other would try to get up and find the other and decided he didn't want the headache of them reopening wounds by moving too much, so he kept them together in close enough beds. He updates MC about the current situation and leaves the two of them to their rest. Masa wakes and they talk and apologize. Little bit of kissing too but not much because they both still can't move very well, but that's okay, at least they're together again. Yay!

For the Blissful route, meant as a Romantic Ending equivalent, is much lighter in tone and pacing than its other half. MC and Kanetsugu receive word that Masa and Kenshin are going to fight once more, so the two of them make their way to the battlefield as close as they can, in the rain.

As the two dragons are about to face off, both are suddenly struck by lightning.

No, not even kidding. Both Masa and Kenshin were knocked unconscious by a force of nature so they can’t fight to the death.

I laughed for a good five minutes while trying to process that scene.

Kanetsugu and MC part ways as the unconscious commanders are taken off the field. Kanetsugu lends her his horse, saying she’s smart and that she’ll return to him when MC releases her. Kanetsugu himself rides with one of his underlings as MC sets off to reach the Date base camp. When she arrives, her energy finally leaves her and she collapses. Understandable as she’s still injured, just rode at full speed both to witness Maa and Kenshin be struck by lightning, all in the rain, then having to ride back at full speed to reach Masa, collapsing is kind of expected.

When MC wakes up again, she’s lying next to the unconscious Masa, him soon waking up too. Cue sweet kissing times because ‘omg, I thought you were dead!’ reunion time. After their make-up session, Masa starts to open up to MC, about how he feels like a failure for failing to protect her and his territory. MC says that it doesn’t matter if he isn’t strong enough to do those things, she loves him because she loves all of him, not for how strong or cool he is. She’s glad he’s finally letting her in, to see this weak part of himself that he’s always kept hidden from everyone.

A few days pass (Masa’s aggressors that weren’t Kicho and Motonari take care of themselves, so now they’re free to return to Azuchi and help out Nobu and the others) and they meet up with Kenshin and Kanetsugu again. They make a temporary alliance so they can stop Motonari and Kicho once and for all. Kenshin is good when he finds out that MC is having similar symptoms that Sasuke has, and that stopping Kicho and co. will make him better, so that’s his driving force for joining this alliance. On the ride to Azuchi, Masa, now thanks to his opening up to MC, starts to show more of his negative emotions openly, mainly when MC and Kanetsugu talk about how her wound is doing and about the time they spent together in the hut while Kanetsugu cared for her. Masa, like Mitsuhide did back in his route, shows his jealousy and protectiveness by growling at Kanetsugu. Like he is about most things, he’s not impressed. He baits Masa for his lack of strength in protecting his beloved and MC has to calm them both down before the alliance breaks up because of Masa’s jealousy.

The gang meets up in Azuchi with Shingen and Yoshimoto already there. Masa and MC catch everyone up on current events (how many times both of them got injured in some fashion, much to the horror of everyone about MC’s own injuries; about how she’s from the future and that if they don’t do something about Kicho and Motonari, the future that MC and Sasuke come from will cease to exist, that she comes from the future, all that fun stuff.) They come up with a battle plan and take on their enemies, defeat them, and the future is restored. With that final battle, MC finally regains her smile, Masa is stunned into silence to see that smile after so long, cuteness abounds once again.

In conclusion, if I picked a reason why I loved this route so much (outside of Masa himself because I was already loving him before) it's the character growth shown here. Masa learns that it's okay that he's not as powerful and strong as he projects himself to be, that he can still protect his loved ones despite his weaknesses. I love the throwbacks to his Main route and to show that decisions have consequences, like if the scene from the Main route of MC not taking the shot was flipped on its head and she actually did take a shot at someone, and what that kind of thought process brought out of her. Kanetsugu was a sweet bean despite his sharp tongue. Got to see Nobu and Shingen bickering which was delightful (as well as Yukimura having a 'gross, I have to work with *him???*' moment with Mitsuhide. Yoshimoto also shows up to Ieyasu's aid so he can get the Imagawa clan off his back (because that's who was pestering him) and Yasu can get back to aiding the Oda (along with the lines 'I thought you were dead. Are you here so I can finish off the job that Nobunaga didn't?').

So, yeah, that’s my thoughts on Masa’s Act 2. I do have a bias as he’s my numero dos when it comes to favorite ikesen baes, but I think this is hopefully a good example of how good this route was. The writing was bumped up a notch, there was plenty of drama, character growth, I just love it so much.

I've been seeing it on my fyp and people talking about It if you scroll enough through their user name (look it up the username and do it as a search)

Honestly? I just wish someone would show proof and explain what's going on Because I don't. I don't really know the person either so I can't judge their character

Apparently on their discord they have a demoncest channel and have talked about Luke romantically or something and they've been blocking people off the server who spoke up about it and blocking people on Tumblr too

Honestly, I don't really know fox so I can't say shit if they're good or not because just because they don't post (from what I've seen but I have a busy schedule ATM so I can't spend my morning going through every post they have to find something bad)

Problematic stuff doesn't mean they aren't - people can be very two sided. I've seen stuff like that on twitter where an artist will repost or draw cool stuff but their likes are full of Loli shit or other problematic media

Again, I just wish someone would just actually explain what's going on instead of people just making vague posts and so far I haven't seen any screenshots from the discord (and I don't think I'll be able to get on foxes discord to see if it's true but they could easily just delete it to hide evidence)

So I'm just on the fence, I don't see anyone going out of their way to defend them in posts only people hating on them for being gross

I've blocked them incase it's true because I'd rather be wrong than support someone who could be problematic

Please tell me how you think this isn't a repost

I am fairly new to tumblr. So I did not know this artwork was on tumblr because I haven't seen it yet. I also did not know that that particular artist was on tumblr and did originally post it because I don't know out of the millions of people there are, that the artist may be on tumblr. I found the artwork on my hard drive from a post I saved from a random account on twitter last year. So the concern that I repost it is so huge but nobody calls out the other hundreds of people that are saving and sharing that exact artwork on twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook? But on tumblr it's a no no? I didn't know I could tag the original artist or that it was on here because again how would I know? I also didn't give credit to the artist like many people do because their name or handle name is signed on that piece of art, so everyone can see and know and search the rightful person who did it. And no one had the common decency to just message me and say hey the original artist is so and so and if you could just tag them, I'd happily do it. Or nobody asked me nicely. Sometimes people can get so upset or defensive on Tumblr over small little things but they can't just give people the common courtesy to say please can you remove because it was so and so's original post. I don't like conflict and my blog is a safe space. I simply did not know and no one can just be a decent human being and talk to me like I also matter. Simply put I wished, instead of putting me down or making snarky comments people can just politely ask me in private to take it down, ask me where did I get it and how or simply say I need to tag the artist. There are a lot of pictures on the internet so how should I know what picture is originally who's if it's been on a Pinterest board or an Instagram post and I just posted it here to keep tabs of my niche and what I like personally? I know what repost means and when I see someone says don't repost then I don't. But most of my pictures are from the internet itself like twitter or Pinterest or Google or Instagram and stored on my hard drive. I don't keep tabs on people's accounts or names except the ones I follow here. I simply reblog everything on Tumblr and post anything I see fit that I found somewhere else.

Like I said this is a safe space and I don't tolerate any hate. If you don't like my answer you can just simply block me but please don't backlash on me for something you saw here but is literally all over the internet as well. I'm but one drop in the ocean. If you can answer me with kind words further regarding this or anything else it would be much appreciated because I'm not a mean person.

Also like I said I'm fairly new to tumblr. I'm an amateur just saving and sharing my interests for myself and to help other people not feel alone. Not to get likes or reblogs or followers or outshine anyone. I know most people on here have been here for years. But for me, since being on here no one ever tried to give me tips or to help me understand it more or even like now just try and be nice about a post that I truly didn't even know about. The best thing people could've done that would benefit the original poster/artist is to tag them and just appreciate the fact that I spread their art, because they so have their name on the artwork. Anyone can see and search them. People can tag and give recognition to the original poster and say I shared it or kindly in private ask me to take it down. I don't know why people on here should be so public about their intolerance and hate for other people and make it known. What does one gain for being nasty and shaming someone out of ignorance if they can't even just ask that person a question instead of simply assuming the worst about someone.

I have seen so many kind people as well on here, and that in itself gives me hope that people that shares the same interests as me can be nice to me but I've discovered that it's quite the opposite. Instead they'll shame you infront of their followers and mutuals and make you a bad person when all you wanted to do was spread joy. I will believe there are kind people on this app when someone can message me and be polite about a post even when they disagree. I'm just a human being trying my best and this page is my escape. First and foremost for me and secondly for the people who feel alone.

If the original poster can see my point of view and see what my page is about and can privately and politely ask me to delete the post then I will. I will not be slandered and bullied by other people and I myself don't shame or bully anyone. I don't use fowl language and I don't disrespect other people.

I hope this helps you see my point of view. Once again, I won't tolerate hate. If nothing can be said out of love or positivity then don't say anything at all.
