Cultural pluralism is pretty much always xenophobia masquerading as xenophilia, anyways. If someone else beats their kids and you don't think it's alright to beat kids that isn't something you're going to be a pluralist about, unless the parents doing it have a sufficiently different color skin and racial or cultural background to you, then it suddenly becomes fine and not your place to criticize. But your increased tolerance for the parents is due solely to a decrease in your interest in the welfare of their children, so it's hard to argue that this position is humanizing.

Just saw someone call the Vimes books copaganda and I'm??? Like I guess in the sense of our protagonist is a fantasy cop. But also. You've missed the entire point of the books. All institutions are corrupt. Vimes Knows This. That's why he's Like That. His whole THING is strict self watching, the who watches the watchers, the dismantling (ever so slowly) of the oppressive Institutions That Be. No he doesn't overthrow the watch, this is a fantasy series not a manifesto. But like??? Comparing it to copaganda procedural dramas that make a point of justifying abuse of rights and overstepping power when the 'good guys' do it, the very thing Vimes CONSISTENTLY FIGHTS AGAINST??? The thing he acknowledges he and everyone else in any position of authority (cop or not) is tempted to, but which must be entirely eradicated for any sort of justice???

"the incest game" but there's only one ending with incest i think they should be fucking raw every chapter if you're going to call it that

So the game is still early access, the one ending of the second episode doesn't technically even have incest, it's um, a shared vision of their possible future. There's some satanic ritual bullshit going on. The next episode doesn't come out for a few months but may likely contain some actual incest, yeah.
But the one reason it's the incest game is that the entire game they're also uh, extremely codependent. They're constantly on top of each other. They're 22 and 20 years old and they sleep in the same bed. Their mother canonically already thinks they're fucking, and it's probably why their parents tried to have them killed?
Also the other reason it's known as the incest game is because the "antis" all freaked out about the incest ending. Which is extremely funny, because by the end of the second episode, the two siblings have also murdered eight people, including their parents. Also they ate three of the people that they killed, two of whom were their parents! Most of the second episode is dedicated to trapping the parents in their own (new) house, sacrificing their souls to a demon in order to power the magic talisman that lets them see the future, and then cooking and eating them and disposing of the rest of their corpses.
Incest is the least of their problems.
