REMINDER
tomorrow Friday, February 23 will be the 13th of shabaan, which means the ayaame bidh (days of the full moon) fast will fall on:
✨ Friday, February 23
✨ Saturday, February 24
✨ Sunday, February 25
It was narrated that Abu Dharr ‏رضي الله تعالى عنهsaid: The Messenger ﷺ of Allaah ﷻ said to me: “If you fast any part of the month, then fast the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth.”
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (761); al-Nasaa’i (2424).
This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi, and al-Albaani agreed with him in Irwa’ al-Ghaleel, 947.
if you have missed fasts from ramadan, consider this a golden opportunity, especially as these are some of the shortest fasts in the entire year! and if you need extra encouragement, i’d be happy to be fasting buddies☺️

The countdown starts with just 16 more days to go.
Are you ready to welcome Ramadan??🤩
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide through #fasting, prayer, and acts of #charity.
During Ramadan, Muslims abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs from dawn until sunset, with the intention of purifying their soul, increasing their closeness to Allah, and gaining a deeper understanding of the sufferings of the less fortunate. It is also a time for giving charity, performing acts of kindness, and strengthening bonds with family and friends.
The end of Ramadan is marked by Eid al-Fitr, a joyous festival that celebrates the breaking of the fast and is typically celebrated with prayer, feasting, and exchanging gifts with loved ones.

One of the most special parts of Ramadan has been the anticipation of it to begin. We never decorated our homes growing up but when I had kids I started decorating because I knew first hand how challenging it was to grow up not having a super exciting holiday. There are so many ways we prepare for the beautiful month of Ramadan to begin such as fasting some days in Shabaan, prepping meals in advance so we won’t have to spend too much time in the kitchen, planning our month and disconnecting from social media etc and although decorating isn’t the most important it sure makes it so much more festive! Now it’s just become tradition! . . . What are some fun Ramadan traditions you have? . . . May Allah allow us all to reach this beautiful month and allow us all to benefit from it! . . . #ramadan #ramadancountdown #ramadandecorations #ramadan2021 #RamadanMubarak #ramadakareem #ramadanvibes #ramadanprep #itsalmostramadan (at Santa Barbara, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNeGyOchfTp/?igshid=l3adjdlyq1om

The Beautiful & Blessed Month Of Ramadan Kareem 2020 is Approaching in 3 Days, When Muslims Fast From Sunrise To Sunset For Approximately 30 Days
Tumblr media
Mohammad Ali /Dubai Filed on 21 April 2020 | Last updated on April 22, 2020 at 10.00 am
Ramadan teaches us a great number of things; patience, piety and discipline are just a few to name.
We should strive to take advantage of the opportunity Ramadan brings. The month of Ramadan is undoubtedly a blessed month because it comes with a lot of blessings. The reasons why Muslims anxiously wait for the blessed Ramadan month 2020 to begin is that they want to get a chance in their life every year to fast for 29 or 30 days, please Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala in every way possible and bring happiness around through doing good deeds. All these things obviously have immense blessings and advantages for the hereafter but what Ramadan month can actually do is that it can create a society that is harmoniously living together and enjoying the freedoms given by Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala Corona virus will affect many aspects of Ramadan in 2020 - but the essence of the holy month will remain the same #COVID19 has brought a hard time for all of us. However, we can fight against it together and by helping each other. Don’t Let Covid-19 impact celebrating the blessing month of Ramadan 2020 Worldwide, businesses, government, families and friends have relied heavily on video conferencing to connect with people. Meetings have migrated online and the same is to be expected for many Ramadan traditions. Families who typically gather for iftar may have to time their Zoom meetings in time for breaking their fast at Maghreb.
Whether it’s gifting Iftari to your loved ones, or ordering one for yourself,

Suhoor, Iftar and Fasting
Suhoor and Iftar are two elements of Ramadan that have great significance to Muslims. The Suhoor is a vital part of fasting. Muslims eat a healthy meal in Suhoor in order to remain in good health for the rest of the day during the fast. The right way to eat a meal during Suhoor is to eat in moderation. Many people skip Suhoor however, this is not favored by Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala because those who skip Suhoor find it difficult to complete their fast and end up breaking it. Suhoor is the right time to consume a meal and fill yourself adequately so that you can fast throughout the day. Revive the traditions of the holy month of Ramadan spend more time in ibadat & leave your meals  worries to our Best Healthy Homemade style meals, Just as you Ate or Eat at Home – Contact less delivery right to your home before saher (Shuhoor) & Iftar Less Oil – just like home – Made “Mum” style – Lovingly – Fresh – Healthy!! We have taken great care in designing the menu 30 days 30 dishes to select only those dishes which, when cooked and packed, retain their aroma, flavor, texture and taste so that you can enjoy a great meal in the comfort of your own home. One thing that won’t change during this pandemic #covid19 and will probably increase during Ramadan is the concept of “giving back.” A core principle of Islam is helping others in need; this is heightened during Ramadan as “giving back” lies at the heart of the holy month.

There are several important nutrients that play an important role in our immune system. Establish routine & practice mindful eating will decrease stress/anxiety & improve sleep. Because of the change in routine that the body can take some time to adjust to, high fibre food options are an important consideration for keeping good regular bowel habits and detoxing the body to maintain good health. Fiber is one of the main components stripped from foods, as we have embraced refined cereal products and turned more to convenience foods and juices. Returning to more conventional grains and whole foods, however, is an easy way to add fiber back.
