Puss in Boots 2 or how the villain 's motivations parallel the protagonist's
(Spoilers for the Puss in Boots 2:The Last Wish)
As a viewer I really liked how the antagonists reasonings for wanting Wishing Star is similar to Puss’s and how it draws parallels between them all.
I might be stretching a bit by saying that both Jack Horner and Puss want something that boosts their ego-fame and power.The means to achieve it,however,makes both their companions endangered or worse.While Puss isn’t aware as to how his selfishness impacts his friends,Jack simply doesn’t care,sacrificing his goons left and right.In the end Horners own greed and lack of people he trusts led him to his own demise.
Now,this one is simple:Goldilocks and Puss are chasing after something that they think will bring them joy and satisfaction,overlooking their friends or family.At the end they both realize that people who support and love them are way more important than an ambitious goal they made in their heads.

The scene where puss is having an anxaiety attack and perro helps him was accurate to how real life therapy/service dogs do ther work not only that but it's how YOU shoud calm someone down when there having an anxaiety attack

I don't do this very often, but i might have some sort of fan theory about Puss In Boots The Last Wish, and it's about him:
It kinda feels weird seeing him without his so-, i mean, sweater
So hear me out, he might be a spoof of 101 Dalmatians.
Before you guys say anything, i know 101 Dalmatians isn't technically a fairy tale, but the Shrek franchise has often been known to be some kind of Anti-Disney satire.
It has also been known to feature some darker and grittier versions of well known characters, so having Perrito's "littermates" being cruel and mean to him would honestly be a great reference to it.
And Perrito having been a victim of attempted murder, verbally insulted, covered with scars, homeless and being totally happy about it definitely feels true to a character in this universe!

My Puss in Boots: The Last Wish Headcanon
Puss, Kitty and Perrito a.k.a. Perro can't eat chocolate, grapes, raisins, cherries(But thankfully, they're not allergic to cherry blossom trees and they're not allergic to cherry blossoms either.) and avocados because they're fatally allergic to them.
Just like Puss, Kitty is deathly allergic to shellfish. Also, Both Puss and Kitty are both fatally allergic to citrus fruits.
Since one of his deaths from his shellfish allergy, he avoids shellfish dishes.
Perrito a.k.a. Perro doesn't like to eat shellfish, citrus fruits, vinegar, sour foods, sour sweets and raspberries. However, he loves apples, bananas(occasionally), blueberries, cucumbers, watermelons, mangoes, fresh and soft peaches, pears, cantaloupe(sometimes) and strawberries(sometimes).
