𝔄𝔰𝔱𝔯𝔬 𝔬𝔟𝔰𝔢𝔯𝔳𝔞𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫𝔰: 𝔘𝔫𝔡𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞𝔱𝔢𝔡 𝔰𝔶𝔫𝔞𝔰𝔱𝔯𝔶 𝔭𝔩𝔞𝔠𝔢𝔪𝔢𝔫𝔱𝔰

it's very easy to talk about the very clear and obvious synastry placements that are good, today I wanted to note some that I really like to see that are often overlooked.

In synastry I love to see someone more ‘outward’ or ‘expressive planets in contact with someones more ‘private’ or ‘inward’ planets. An example is seeing someones Sun conjunct the other persons Moon - it’s as if one is bringing the other out their shell a little, or they appreciate these parts of each other, on hoe the ‘expressive’ planet can show this to the word so easily, ‘and how the ‘inner planet feels comfortable to show the ‘outward’ planet this side of them self. For example the sun person will see this more private area and say ‘I love this side of you, please don’t feel afraid to show me”. They compliment one another.

Having Sun - Jupiter synastry brings such a radiance to a relationship. You can rejuvenate each other and bring each other a lot of laughter and joy. These are two very expressive and expansive parts of each other coming together. The sun in traditional astrology rules over intellect snd Jupiter is all about exploration and discovery, you stimulate each others minds and invigorate each others lives. Conversation flows easily and and giggles are often. You want a pretty tight orb on this one (1-5 degrees max)

3rd house synastry is not spoken about or appreciated enough. Often if a personal placement falls into the persons 3rd house, it feels as if you naturally ‘speak their language’. Communication is emphasis here, which is an important foundation in relationships.

An example is having your moon go into someones 3rd house, you may make the 3rd house person feels very safe too communicate with you, and you as the moon person feel as if the house person is vey comforting and the way they communicate and listen is so ideal to you.Also these people can have well blended routines and similar habits.

Often I have seen that when someones personal planets fall into your 6th house, they like to be of service to you in some way. They want to make your day easier, or help you organise your day etc. It shows someone who wants to take care of you and be a big part in those small moments.

10th house synastry is cute! The planet person can push the 10th house person be become who they want to be, they help them feel inspired or driven, this is especially true for benefic planets here.

Aries moons are some of the boldest people I have met, or at least they come across that way from observation, the moon is comfort and Aries is all about diving in head first, so they actually find a comfort in spontaneity and action!

Honestly the connection between fire and water signs needs to be studied! They both find each other so tempting and it’s such a passionate and intense mix. As someone very water heavy in my chart I cant stay away from those fire heavy men

Mars in the second house indicates that you will enjoy keeping physically fit/ will find bodily aesthetics important. In traditional astrology the second house represents the physical body. This placement can especially indicate some sort of strength training. Looking at the sign it’s in can give you more of an indication of what sport or activity it is.

Chiron in the first house shows someone who has gone through a lot of personal healing and transformation in their life, they have had to deal with a great amount of pain. There are a lot of lessons in their life they learn through this. Often this person can also trigger healing in others around them too or helps heal people in some way, becoming a sort of teacher, specifically emotional wounds. These people possess a great deal of self awareness. This can take time to getting to this point, but developed people use this as a power for good.

Venus - Pluto aspects in a persons natal chart show they are attracted to intensity, They can feel as if they don’t want love if it isn’t mixed with a little obsession. These people are very protective and maybe a little controlling if not a developed version of this sign. Joe Goldberg energy Lol

Scorpio rising

Mars is your ruler, naturally giving you sex appeal, but it more gives you an air of ‘there’s something about her I can’t quite put my finger on’. There is an element of withdrawnness that gives these people a shroud of mystery.

Pluto in the first/ aspecting your ascendant

Does a very similar thing to the one above. A dominant vibe!

Venus conjunct mars

This is a placement of magnetism, you are very goo at drawing people in if you want to. Thus balance of energies, knowing when to push and pull.

Lilith aspecting your ascendant

This placement ,as I have mentioned in other posts, correlates to power. Once you tap into this it’s a very attractive, after all power is sexy! There is a dark side to this, the destructive qualities that can be presented here when more untamed/untapped can be equally as enticing but for the wrong reasons. Neptune aspecting your ascendant

This placement can be almost hypnotising! There is an ethereal aura around someone who has this placement. I will say they can be very dreamy - sometimes people will literally project their fantasies onto these people.

Virgo moon tend to intellectualise their emotions. They will understand themselves so deeply but not necessarily let themselves feel it. They are so analytical by nature, also we have to remember Virgo is ruled by Mercury - ruler of the mind.

Aquarius moons can detach themselves from their feelings and look at them from a very objective point of view. Because of this they get the reputation of being hard to understand because the way they can explain their feelings or process them.

Having a your moon in hard aspect to your mercury often means you have difficult time choosing between being lead with your head or your heart. You can be conflicted between logic and intuition.

Having your moon in the 7th house indicates that you will be attracted to or marry someone who is nurturing and very emotional. You will value empathy and emotional intelligence in a partner.

Sun square moon in a natal chart represents someones parents not getting along, a lot of arguments occurring between the two. They aren’t working together but against each other. This placement doesn’t necessarily mean divorce or separation for the parents, but often there is a turbulent relationship between the two, or they constantly but heads.

I often find gemini mercuries are very eloquent when speaking. They often sound very intelligent and well spoken without trying

We all know fire Marses are the ones who get extremely angry - Jhené Aiko. ‘when I get I get big mad’- however we underestimate the anger of Earth Mars people, they may not be as quick to anger but once they are mad it’s scary. They are like a volcano, its all bubbling under the surface and then suddenly one thing causes a huge reaction. Also they have a tendency to stay more angry for longer, or hold a grudge.

To add the my last point to check how long someone could potentially hold onto a grudge, you also may wanna look at their moon sign. Once the mars ruled anger has subsided the emotions left over and the emotional processing afterwards will be handled by the moon. Once again, an earth moon or fixed moon could indicate a long grudge.

People talk about water venues in love being the most intense, but I have seen fixed Venuses be just as, if not more intense.

Capricorn and Aquarius risings get better with age, they age into their looks. The same thing can occur when you have Saturn aspecting your ascendant, you may get more attractive later ore age well

This is one I find so interesting. Looks at the sign over your second house. What I have come to notice is that often you will come to value these people who have personal planets there. Specifically rising, sun or moon.Your second house represents your values and assets, not only material but also your emotional and personal values. You can find that some of the people who become the most precious to you have placements here.

If you are getting married base your wedding preferences off of the planets/signs in your 5th and 7th house. The 7th house represents long term partnerships and marriage and the 5th house represents romance and fun. Its a really good way to find your wedding aesthetic. Another way you can do this is use the 5th/7th house in your composite charts.

When it comes to fashion two signs that will always get it right is Taurus and Libra. Of course, they are Venus ruled! However the way Venus presents itself is very different. Libra is an air sign, there is a quicker quality to it than Taurus, who us earthy. Because of this you can see Libras taking part in a lot more fashion trends that are quick to pass or be recycled. Taurus Venuses are more timeless with their fashion, they are classic and maybe more classy because of this. Although people will mostly consider Libras more high fashioned as they will be hot on seasonal Trends.

Having a mix of scorpio and sagittarius gives someone so much sex appeal! The mix of depth, mystery and intensity from scorpio along with the spontaneity and passion for the adventures and mysteries of life of sagittarius is such a magnetic mix. There is a darkness but also this luminosity about their aura. They can appreciate the profoundness of life and try to understand the meaning whilst also living life to the fullest.

Saturn prolongs and delays things so having it aspect a person planet influences it in this way. For example, having is aspecting your mars indicates you may take longer to get mad, depending on other factors in your chart, but when you are mad you stay mad and hold a grudge for a long time. Another example would be the moon, Saturn aspecting gives someone a sentimental personality, emotions may take longer to get over or may hit you long after the event occurred.

Something I haven’t seen talked about a lot is the north node in synastry. The north node helps us connect with our higher selves. Having aspects in synastry with other planets can show how someone can aid us in our journey, as a comrade or teacher figure. This synastry makes the north node person feel deeply understood by the planet person. This can be difficult sometimes as the planet person can reveal things to the north node person that they need to work on in order to fulfil themselves. You do need a tight orb with this aspect!

Moon conjunct mars creates a spicy relationship! There is an instant attraction, and this creates an intensity to the connection. Very fiery. Often the dynamic is that the mars person wants to protect the moon person. They are both trying to provide a safe space for each other in different ways. Think fit as the mars person being like ‘I will burn the whole world for you and destroy anyone or anything that hurts you’, whereas the moon person just wants to be a comforting and safe space for the mars person. The softer aspects have a pretty good time with this one, but if you have a hard aspect between the two your relationship could be quite turbulent at times

I have found that people who have the same Planetary house placements can can have similarities. We know that if someone has the same moon sign they will be similar, but I have also seen how people who bae a different moon sign but in the same house within their charts are similar too for example, both having the moon in their 9th house.

Another thing is if people have planets or luminaries in the same modality they can share similar traits. For example people who both have fixed rising signs and a Mutable sun. Obviously the sign and house is the first thing you look at, but this can add an interesting flavour.

Sun - Jupiter synastry adds a liveliness to the relationship. It’s rare that you will get bored in this connection, even when doing nothing together it’s exciting, which is very sweet.

I love to see people with the same planet in the same modality, e.g. sun in Cancer and sun in Aries. Although they may square each other it indicates a similar energy towards that area of life. For example if both people have a mutable mars sign it shows they both go after their goals in a similar way, both being adaptable and open to change.

Adding to the last point people who have the same planet in the same house shows a similar focus on that area of life, which is always good for long term partnership. I have often seen both of these in synastry charts of long term partners.

Second house synastry can be very beneficial for long term partnership also. Having benefits here shows you share similar values. Not only that but your routines and standards for stability are aligned or similar. You can see how this would be great for a relationship

I have spoken about this one in the past, but I really love to see a mix of those more ‘intense’ and passionate placements in a synastry chart mixed, and I will repeat myself again, MIXED with more ‘stable’ and ‘comfortable’, and in a way, easier placements. That to me is how you get the most fulfilling relationship for the long term. One where you have those ‘challenging’ placements that trigger transformation and push you in ways, but you have those cushy placements that will really get you through those tricky and occasionally turbulent times. Relationships aren’t supposed to alway be easy, and often the most impactful ones will change you or shape you in way. There has to be not only that trigger for growth but also that safety for growth within the relationship.

If a partner has placements that go into a house you have planets in, it shows you are both focused on that area of life for you and they can help focus you or direct you in some way. If a partners planets fall into a house that is empty for you, it can help you bring more attention to that part of your life that can sometimes be more subconscious or not on the forefront of your mind as much.

Oppositions can be challenging but also lovely, hear me out. It helps bring balance to your life. There may be a sign/ house/ area you are more easily or actively focused on, having someone with a plenty in an opposite sign to yours helps balance you out, you can bring balance to each other.

I have had some experience with this personally and with a few of my clients chats so want to talk about it

! disclaimer !

I have only personally worked with this energy in synastry charts between men and women so far so I will be talking about the dynamic between the females Lilith and the males personal planets.

if you have any experience with Lilith in a same sex relationship I would love to hear your thoughts :)

Here I will be talking about when a woman limit interacts with an important part of his chart, this includes ascendant, sun, moon, Venus, mars and angular houses. These are the placements I have the most experience with so until I have further knowledge I will not speak for other aspects.

There is a great amount of tension between these two. She is everything he desires, she fullfills his darkest fantasies and wildest dreams he has about a woman. The attraction is immense

There is a marker side to this. The Lilith woman may trigger this mans wounds, especially with women. If he isn’t self developed and lacks self assurance, confidence and security he will find this connection very hard. He will want to handle it but will struggle, even when a man is developed she is playing with some of the darkest parts of him.

To her this can be fun, seeing how in some ways he is wrapped around he finger or dotes on her every move, how he does what he can to please her, this can be a placement where she will find it easy to manipulate him if she wants to. I repeats if she wants, she doesn’t have to and that is also dependent on how developed she is.

If the man isn’t secure this can take a bad turn, obsession is somewhat Inevitable anyway and isn’t always bad, however what can happen is he will start to try and control her. This often happens when he cannot handle the feelings she creates and triggers in him so he projects it onto her.

Desire is the big words that comes into play here. He sees her as someone who is highly desirable , not only for himself but to others. He finds her irresistible able but worries that other men feel the same way, this is where fear, jealousy and control arise if he is not equipped to handle such a woman at this point in his life.

Remember that Lilith is also a woman’s personal power which people, predominantly men have tried to undermine or take. This connection can go one of two ways and it depends of the development of the people involved and maybe how Lilith interacts with their own natal charts also. A man can either love and cherish his woman’s power or seek to control it, take it away or use it for himself.

If both people are developed this can create a powerful connection. One where he respects and values her in all her power without insecurity. She can help heal him of his female caused wounds, if she has the self awareness to see where he is being triggered and instead of use this for power use it for healing him.

People with Pluto in the first house/ conjunct their ASC love to project an image of power, the closer to the ASC Pluto this is the more evident this is.

Having Jupiter in the 8th house makes someone take an interest in learning all about ahem* 8th house activities* ahem. I have known some of these people to even read books about certain activities. The more knowledge they have the better, they are also very good at applying this knowledge too.

Neptune aspecting the ASC gives someone a hint of a dreamy and ethereal look. These people can give off damsel in distress vibes, however looks can be deceiving ;)

People with Pluto mercury aspects can be very good at manipulating people. They are also good at deceiving people, this doesn’t make them bad people however the capability is there and they are aware of this power they hold. This aspect can also make them charming in a dark and intriguing sense.

People with Pluto aspecting their ascendant or Scorpio rising can have people become obsessed with them/ the way they look

People with their 10th house ruler in the 9th house may become world renowned in their career path or may find themselves travelling a lot for work or working with foreign clients. They may even find more success when they work abroad.

Moon trine Venus people are incredibly creative and it is fuelled by their emotions, the same thing applies to people with Moon trine Neptune as this is the higher octave of Venus. These people have an endless source of creativity and they can feel as if it is being channeled through them from somewhere higher, like divine inspiration

When a persons Mars trines their Midheaven it creates this natural ambition and drive to achieve success in their career. They will do what ever it takes. However it is Saturn that can help create the dedication and discipline to get this work done. Though Saturn can create 'restrictions' it also creates strategy and hard work. Mars is the initial spark but Saturn will keep the engine going.

Things I have realised whilst dating a Leo rising

-This is a collage I made inspired by him and other Leo rising men-

They like to stand out and be noticed, yes of course. They want their reputation to be one of beauty or aesthetics, as their 10th house is ruled by Venusian Taurus. But people put too much focus or attention, ironically, on this one layer of Leo.

I find them to be very private about their emotions. Cancer is in their 12th house showing that they prefer isolation when they feel emotional, they also may have a habit of trying to numb themselves from their own feelings, as the 12th house is hidden things, but where is differentiates from the 8th house is that this is also where you are unconscious’s of this yourself, showing there is a preferred unconscious state they prefer to be in when it comes to their feelings. Thus is where self sabotage can come into play, this comes up if you are dealing with a less spiritually developed Leo.

The flip side of this is that they are actually very empathetic people who can, and can being the word here, have a deep almost intuitive understanding to emotions, once again with self sevelopment. The man I am with is so good at understanding me and even himself. The funny thing is he understands himself so well, but he has admitted in the past he has just tried or preferred to be disconnected from that deeper part of himself. You have to remember the 12th house can be deeply intuitive, however it can also be an are of pain, working with it can take time, and the deepest sense of self awareness.

Another important aspect of the natal chart to note is the 4th house, which rules the mot private side of ourselves and our emotions again. This house falls into scorpio which in itself is very private. This part of themselves is buried deep within and kept from being visible. To see this part of them means they trust you completely, which can take time. Having Scorpio here means they like to understand themselves fully and to the deepest level. Scorpio is the investigator, they want to understand it all. This explains why they are like that. This gives them an amazing sense of self awareness.

𝔄 𝔡𝔦𝔣𝔣𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔫𝔠𝔢 𝔟𝔢𝔱𝔴𝔢𝔢𝔫 𝔄𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔰 𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔖𝔠𝔬𝔯𝔭𝔦𝔬

Both of these planets are traditionally ruled by mars, so they have some similarities, however the way that Mars presents its self in these two planets creates two different archetypes.

A similarity is that these people both want to conquer (maybe not tend or territory anymore but personal goals etc.) . They can see life as one big battle strategy. However the way they go about it is very different. Power is a big thing for both these signs. Scorpio is more subtle and underhanded whereas Aries has a strategy that is a lot more straight forward and includes more brute force.

To understand more lets look at their traditional houses:

Aries is ruled by the first house - they like to dive in head first ( the first house rules over the head, along with the physical body) they will throw themselves into action.

Scorpio is ruled by the 8th house, the house of hidden things and other peoples assets. The look at how they can best position themselves before putting themselves anywhere. The means they don’t always see the most visible or upfront position to be the best.

And example of this is power dynamics. Aries will want to be at the front or a leader to feel the most powerful, scorpio knows that being in the most visible position of power isn’t always where you can get what you want or make the biggest impact. Aries wants to be seen whilst doing everything, (its almost a show for them similar to Leo) Their actions are more clear or obvious,

This also relates to how you can often know where you stand with Aries more often than with a Scorpio. Scorpio is more underhanded, keeping their cards closer to their chest, even their actions will be more covert in comparison to Aries.

When describing the archetypes of these signs take into consideration that in a natal chart you will very rarely get the rawest expression of a sign as you have to look at the chart as a whole.

This is also interesting to see where these signs are in your natal chart. The house they are in may show how you go about progressing or looking at these areas of life.

To kill their feelings for you they had to kill themselves as well. If they aren’t over it they can resist change and changing just so that they have a connection to their past. Because they want so badly to stay in that place that felt so familiar and comfortable, you have to remember that scorpio is a fixed placement. When they choose someone they are stuck on them.

They may bury it and their feelings before they have truly killed them off. Doing this only means they will resurface later. It will haunt them. To get over it they have to learn not to bury it but to watch it die, to let it die in front of them and deal with the pain of seeing something the care for wither away in their heart and their mind. Only then are they ready to truly put their feelings to rest and find peace. Their fear of the intensity that that feel things can prevent them from doing this sometimes.

Often scorpio placement can be afraid of the depth of feeling they possess, their fear is is what causes them to bury it, but this can cause an unhealthy cycle within themselves. They fear the death of things as they know they can’t go back once it is finished as it will have changed them so fundamentally that there will be no way back. But they realise there is life after death and love after love.

When they are truly over it when you next see them don’t expect to see who you used to know. you may see glimpses however the have evolved. The had to kill you to move on. until you are dead to them in their eyes they can’t move on. They hold onto things for a long time but when the let go they LET GO.

This will be most relevant for scorpio Venuses, however it will be relatable for most scorpio placements, especially if you have a heavy amount of scorpio in your chart

I love seeing Mercury conjunct ascendant in friendship synastry as it shows an immediate connection between people, mercury represents the mind and the ascendant is the self in the chart, so it shows a immediate relation between people and the way they see things.

Jupiter conjunct moon synastry in friendship is so beautiful! You will grow and mature together, you will evolve and change whilst always having this comforting connection along the way. You push the Jupiter person pushes the moon person out of their comfort zone. These people make great travel partners!They can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of happiness when around each other no matter what they are going through.

Someones Jupiter going into your 10th house can make you want to chase after your goals. They can make you want to be a better person, they are almost like your fuel. They can feel like a leader of some sort to you or someone you look up to.

Moon conjunct moon friendship synastry is another thing I love to see. You truly understand what the other needs to feel comfortable and you will see you find comfort in similar things. You are each others safe space. They feel like a warm hug!

The Moon in synastry shows how one person nurtures the other, how they show up as a comfort and support. Having the your Moon in someones 6th house shows you are a daily support, you are there in their daily routines. You also will impact how they take care of themselves and their health. You could get them in the gym or make sure they are eating right.
