I prefer most of the English versions than the adapted German songs, but ‘Für immer’ goes way harder than ‘I do’.

Like ‘I see you when you’re looking lonely, and I hope that everything’s all right’ does not hit as hard as ‘Zu lange war ich ganz alleine, doch alleine will ich nicht mehr sein’ (I was alone for too long, but I don't want to be alone anymore).

Especially when it’s sung! The harmonies for both are great, but the German just hits better in this instance. I am normal about this song I swear (3 of my tabs are Für immer at all times that is a lie)
