WOKE UP WANTING CANDY 😬 As soon as he woke up he headed to the kitchen to ask me if there are any candy with no carbs. ▫️ I have yet to buy them any sugar free type candies, but I will be looking for some. Kiddos have always been good about not getting candy from the candy jar without my permission. They used to get about a candy a week. I know that they will do the same if I buy them sugar free candy. ▫️ The candy jar is still empty and I will be adding some sugar free candy for them. ▫️ Yesterday they were allowed to eat whatever they wanted at the buffet. They did eat carby foods but they did not over do it. They have been taught to have self control. ▫️ They were also allowed to get a dessert and all chose their ice cream. That definitely has to do with him waking up with this question because his body is now asking for sugar after yesterday’s meal. They know the consequences they face after eating carbs. ▫️ Even though they were allowed to eat what they wanted, they were able to control themselves and not get overly excited like they used to when we would go to that buffet restaurant before they transitioned. ▫️ They even included in their meal prayer that the sugar does not affect them in a negative way like a tummy ache or make them nauseous. ▫️ I am proud of our kids. I am proud they are proud of their eating lifestyle and tell everyone that they eat keto and keto treats. I am proud that they have self control. I am proud that they recognize that sugar is not good for them. I am proud that they brag about my food. I cannot believe my baby boy, Jordan, is 25 years old today! I couldn't be more proud of the man he has become. He serves God, his family, and his community with all of his heart.
