Synopsis:

Benji appears in a new world: new surroundings, new people, new everything. So how is he supposed to know that his mother tongue is this world’s tongue of magic? After tripping on a tree root and telling it to ‘go to hell,’ he becomes wanted for burning down one of the few sacred forests left in the state. Now on the run, he meets Romeo, who helps him navigate both this new world and his new life as a felon. Trying to earn his place in Romeo’s group, Benji helps them steal and run from the state. From pickpocketing to grand larceny, his powers seem to continuously come in handy, even if the rest of the group doesn’t know about them. Throughout his journey, he starts falling in love with Romeo, starts to realize his feelings for him aren’t just platonic. However, when friends from his old world show up and tell him they have a plan to get back home, he has to make a choice. Stay here, with his newfound friends and the love of his life, or go home and be surrounded by his old friends and family once again?

The Son of The Damned

Synopsis:

When C2’s classmates keep dying in weird ways, how is he not supposed to investigate? With the help of his three best friends, he sets out on a quest to figure this mystery out. But when a certain boy appears at their funerals, despite not knowing them, it starts to get creepy. (Not the final synopsis)

The Sight

Blurb:

MC, a young orphan living on their own, has The Sight. It helps them locate the Troubled Ones, supernatural creatures, and to fix their problems. After helping hundreds of Troubled Ones, MC is highly revered in their community. So what are they supposed to say when they’re asked to stop the destruction of all the races? Riding with The Bandits, a crew of 5 young supes, they set out to find clues. Even though the rest of The Bandits are continuously ignored and brushed off, MC’s reputation helps them learn things fairly quickly. Once they know the person behind the massacre, they set out to find him. MC learns many things about themself and their family along the way, muddying the waters of their quest. When MC finds out something they never could have expected, they have a choice. Side with their friends to stop the massacre, or side with The Destroyer and restart the world?

Who Is This? A Collection of Short Stories

Synopsis:

When MC inherits her great aunt's house, she's shocked to see that the only thing on the property is a black flip phone. Upon picking it up, she immediately gets a call asking for help. A little girl is on the other side. She says her name is Charollette Lancaster, that her mother is in danger, and that MC needs to go check on her. After a long day of searching, she finds the girl's mother at her office and assures Charollette that she is safe. When MC decides to sit down for a minute, she finds herself scrolling through the news. And there it was, in plain writing: Charollette Lancaster''s body found. After that, more ghosts start to call her, pleading for help to move on. MC makes it her life mission to help these poor souls, stuck in a world they can't be in.

The Lost Horn

Blurb:

The farm, being the busiest it's ever been, starts to bore MC. To get away, he goes off to collect some firewood. His plan is interrupted shortly thereafter, though, when he sees a boy with iridescent skin. Upon closer inspection, are his eyes rainbow? If he had a horn, MC would've believed he was a unicorn. Spoiler alert: he is. Fascinated with the boy, MC agrees to help him find his lost horn. Their journey is filled with adventure and danger, bringing them closer and closer together. Will they find the horn? Or will it be put into the wrong hands before they can get it?

The Melody of Love

Blurb:

apparently the new wayfinder project website just dropped!! (albeit a bit glitchy at the moment)

#kingdom hearts #kh #for context the wayfinder project is a kh cutscene directory and the new website made it so much easier to navigate through all the games #you can literally search for a word that's in any game and it'll give you the scene and music and characters and cutscene #it's a very good resource (there's also a google sheets version which isn't as detailed but is still really fucking good)

in college i struggled with the more heavy math topics of compsci and the graphs/algorithms and the stuff to do with lower level systems. but god damn it if I didn't develop a knack for poring through error logs and tracing backwards to a proper fix

Costume: They 'borrowed' it from a store that specialized in Pokemon musical outfits. It should be fine as long as they remember to return it later. The designer's inspiration was a dream where they met a mysterious man and his bird companion. The outfit is not a perfect replica, but the tailor did their best with what they could remember.

Kirsen is a young elf who doesn't really know how to function if she doesn't have a job- a purpose, to keep her busy. When she stumbles upon the Ironwatch, and an ages-old prophecy about ending the world with a magic as rare as it is powerful, it really does seem like she's found just that. But life in Usoara will never be quite so simple and there are life-shattering revelations just waiting to claw their way to freedom. If Kirsen isn't careful, attempting to save the world as she knows it may end up costing more than she is capable of giving.

Its Captain is someone with a hunger for the promise of infamy and the way to reach it presented to her on a silver platter; ransom the Queen's children back to her and disappear before the other shoe drops. The siblings were finally free of their mother's abuse...but are they prepared for the harsh life that awaits outside the castle walls?

They Sing of Fireflies

Firefly ran away from home to become a bounty hunter- what they didn't expect to discover was a deadly conspiracy to wipe out lycanthropy and vampirism, no matter how many innocent lives it takes to do so. Which is a bit much for a fifteen-year-old looking for their first taste of danger. But trying to put your past behind you has a funny way of backfiring sometimes and ignoring your future does not prevent it from bleeding out at your feet. When you keep ignoring it, even as the red trails behind you with every step, it's easy to pretend you will outrun the consequences...but your ancestors will sing of your avoidable mistakes.

But the thing about adventure is this; it bleeds into tribulation, which bleeds into obsession, which bleeds into martyrdom. And, as it turns out, when you saturate your every step with the blood of what you deemed worthy sacrifices...it is only a matter of time before the carnivores come sniffing out the trail that promises magic and power- for those hungry enough to bite the hand that feeds.

How long does it take you to realize that YOU are the monster under the bed?

Corinne moved to the town of Hobbysfell with her parents for college, but things quickly take a turn for the...weird. Something sinister has taken hold of the town- and when Cori's parents start behaving like autopilot NPC versions of themselves, she realizes that isn't as simple as "isolated rural town strangeness". If she ever wants to get her family back, she's going to have to find the handful of other residents that seem to be unaffected and get to the bottom of things...before there are no more brainwashed-civilians left to save.

Temporal Remedy

After awakening on a space station with no memories aside from her name, Remedy must make what she can out of this new life she has. Unfortunately, she doesn't feel like she was ever the type to sit back and let life sort itself out. When Remedy gets ahold of one of the station's infamous time-travel devices and uses it in a panic, to avoid being caught red-handed, it deposits her in what seems to be several decades earlier.

Which, coincidentally, happens to be the two week period where dozens of crewmembers began disappearing from the station without a trace...and nobody ever figured out what truly happened. So really, when presented with two exciting and enticing mysteries to discover, what did you expect the super nosy, headstrong idiot to do? NOT try and investigate them both at the same time?
