Guess who I'm celebrating Christmas with. (It's not an actual person. Lol)
Hatcher! He's my old Hatch-a-mal (IDK how to spell that :"P) He's a Hedgehen (Hedge-hen). I got him on my tenth B-Day, and he hatched the same day! So, we share a B-Day. He's years old! (I'm not gonna expose my age. But he is several years old) I actually forgot I had him for quite some time. Because if that, one of his wheels got stuck and won't move. I drew him (very poorly because I was 10 and had no good art) and i actually found that drawing under my bed. XD. If you guys want to see it, I'll show it next post. But I got 50 things I need to do. I'm just procrastinating on my chores and my mom ain't to happy. XD.

Awesome Decked Out Stream btw! Congrats on the first win!
Also; Sorry if you’ve answered this question before but what piece of equipment do you use to supplement your microphone to do all the cool voice modulations? On stream you were talking to Rendog about it and I swore you called it a “gargexalar” which absolutely can’t be right but I struggle phonetically! I also recall you spoke of it on the Imp and Skizz Podcast, but I couldn’t grasp the name there either. Would love to know how to get a cool mic set up for personal voice work and it sound like you know/have some good advice! :D
It's called a GoXLR, it's from a company called TC Helicon who seem to have abandoned the product earlier this year by laying off all but a few staff, so just be mindful of that if you purchase one. It's works just fine but any major errors or windows updates in the future I guess could have the potential to ruin things (although due to its popularity there's already a third party software etc made by the community)
I'm still wanting to move to a Rode Procaster Duo but currently it doesn't have and won't let you control virtual audio channels with its faders (which is important for me as I split game, music, chat and myself on to seperate tracks) - they have said they're looking to implement this feature in a future firmware update but there's no ETA given yet.
So the GoXLR is great but I worry about it's future, where as the Rode isn't quite suited to my needs yet but once it is I'll likely switch as they're a long established audio company with no signs of discontinuing support
The other little device I've mentioned before is the Tube MPC which is a handy compressor / limiter for boost audio without making it distorted (I admittedly haven't used in a while since I finally found some nice settings for the GoXLR that give the same results)

hello! I wonder what you use as streaming equip? I figured a fairly good capture card and mic, don't know much about the hellish technology though 🥲
Hello! So I don't have a capture card at all, I use a software called OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) which can capture the game on-screen.
I have a Rode Procaster microphone and a Focusrite Scarlet audio interface (Others use a USB microphone!) - I also have a logitech webcam, and I use an Elgato LED panel light and Streamdeck.
So there's a software side and a hardware side to stream equipment, happy to answer any questions you have on any particular part!

100 days of code: Day 1 Javascript introduction (Yes, i am changing again. And everything is fine)

How are you?
Here we are fine after making that decision.
As I said yesterday, I thought about going back to python and I really like the language (and I want my snake game). But learning the skills I'm going to talk about in a bit will be more profitable in the long run.
Well, the skills are PHP>MYSQL>HTML>CSS>JAVASCRIPT AND JQUERY.
But I'm not going to start with HTML and CSS and I'm not going to continue with PHP.
I'll do the reverse, starting with JAVASCRIPT > JQUERY > MYSQL >
+ HTML > CSS > PHP.
Leaving the ones I least like last, because in my logic I postpone/procast more and it will take me longer to finish the whole study. And after finishing the first ones, learning the last ones will probably be automatic.
ABOUT THE STUDY RESOURCES: I'll be using the MDN documentation to learn because I think it's very well done and will be easier to navigate in the future and my darling Odin Project.
I hope that you, who are reading this, are never afraid to make decisions / have the discernment to choose the best path and deal with the consequences of it.
And mostly, don't feel ashamed and don't care what others will say or think, it's your life.
Have good studies, have a good day or night, drink water and take care of your mental health. Stay safe

"SINCE you were four years old, and you tried to run away from inazuma, scaramouche became your best friend. for the fact that he helps you to escape, and is always protecting you, because he thinks you are miserably fragile.
You had to escape inazuma alone, because your family was dead, and no one would help you, but, scaramouche did! He says its for pity, but, you'll never know.
Scaramouche always was by your side, dont letting you do anything wrong, maybe was because you was an human, and he think we all are idiots. But, as always, never letting u think he's protecting you because he likes you, its for? We dont know? Scaramouche never admits, his ego dont let it.
But, now this is past, you and scaramouche are adults, and he still protecting you like if u were a little kid. You hate the comfort that come in your breasts when he proctects you, you'd always know that he'll love u platonically.
Some day, you and Scaramouche, like .always, were just in the home you 2 made.
"Hey, y/n?" Scaramouche said with his little voice, that dont changed a lot since you teo were kids.
"Yes?"
"I need to go for a while, my friends judt called me, ill get here soon, ok?"
"Ok, see you later." You said in an overly sweet voice, trying to hide your jealousy.
And, you were alone, just thinking what will u do. You know you like him. But, he always treated you as a brother/sister, he'll never like u as a partner. You locked yourself in your room, and started fastly clean the tears that were coming in your face. You'd know that in some 30 mins Scaramouche would be there, he left to stay with him friends, you stayed with him for years, decades, obviously you would be jealous. you look in the mirror and see what a terrible situation you are in, so, to distract yourself, you wipe your tears, and leave the house for a while.
You arrive at the nearest bar, and find diluc, who looks surprised to see you here.
"It's kind of surprising to see you here. Well, what would you want?"
"I know" you laughed a little. "Can I have any that aren't too strong?"
diluc nodded, and quickly handed you the drink. you paid, and quickly returned to your house, not wanting to get addicted, took 1 glass and poured some of the drink. you drank, and, surprised by the taste of the drink, you drank more and more, and when you barely saw it, it was over, and you were there drinking the last glass, when you heard the door slam.
you ran as fast as you could, and put the bottle of the drink under the bed of your room, btw, your and scaramouche's shared room.
you forced a smile, and went to the door to open it for Scaramouche.
"Hey scaramouche, how was it?"
"It was ok, aside from the fact that they're insanely curious about everything." — "wait, looks like YOU're not well-"
"me? Stew. it's just.. I just woke up haha."
"You don't look tired? But, ok i guess."
days passed, and scaramouche left often, to places you couldn't follow. And, it was the same thing every time, scaramouche went out and you bought alcohol.
some day, when you left and went to the tavern, you casually ordered a strong one. with the same docile, forced smile. until you diluc said
"hey, y/n. you look addicted. are you sure?"
"that offended me, see!" you made a mini drama out of American movies and then said "no need to worry, I'm not addicted, im in control!" .
"If u say soo."
like every day, diluc handed you the bottle quickly, and you took it home after paying.
this time, it was a strong one, a big one. you took the bottle, and drank directly from the spout. you didn't care anymore. knowing that scaramouche had the keys, you, drunk, simply went to sleep, and threw the bottle under the bed, knowing that tomorrow you would throw each one away. how long have you been procasting about this?
scaramouche got home, and went to the kitchen to drink water, when he found many, many drops of alcohol on the floor. you came hiding all this from him?! It was a promise you did, dont have secrets.
he waited for you to wake up, yes, he waited eight hours standing there. looking at you with a look of disappointment.
finally! you woke up, sober.
"scara? what is it??" you looked if there was something wrong.
"you're like all humans, you can't keep a promise."
"Huh? I didn't break any prom-"
scaramouche lifted two of the bottles from under the bed. Jesus, why today?
"you are obsessed with alcohol."
"No, im not. you are just assuming things!"
"there's dozens of these shit under the bed!" scaramouche raised his tone, and pointed to the spot.
"why the hell do you care anyway?!"
"ONE, ONE TIME I LEAVE YOU, YOU DO SHIT AND BECOME ADDICTED!"
"WHAT DID YOU WANT??? I'M A FILTHY HUMAN AS YOU SAY!"
"FUCKING YEAH YOU ARE! AND IF YOU WON'T STOP MESSING OUR HOUSE WITH THOSE RIDICULOUS ADDICTIONS OF YOURS, GET OUT OF IT YOU FILTY!"
"Alright, because you're a fucking dumb that can't notice that i have a fucking emotional dependency on you, fuck? You say you are so smart, but you can't even notice someone's feelings for you, when you don't pay attention? I understand that you don't feel that way, but I thought you understood that we are different. I have romantic feelings, and to distract myself, the only thing I could do was distract myself with alcohol."
you entered the room, and scaramouche still without reasoning the things you said, crossed his arms. but when he noticed you separating your things, he came close to you and said;
"what you are doing? You-"
he finally reasoned what you said, and while you had tears forming.
"Did you finally understand?" you said, trying to ignore the fact that you were sounding too docile for the situation.
"hey, you have nowhere to go! you can't just leave!"
you knew when he said get out he didn't really mean it. he's just... arrogant.
Scaramouche grabbed your wrist as you neared the door.
Scaramouche hugged you from behind, and you could have sworn that, for the first time, you saw him cry. the silence at the moment was so much that you heard each tear falling, while he had his head on your shoulder, hugging you from the back.
"I thought you wanted me to leave?" you sighed. knowing that even sad, his ego was still giant, and he would refuse to let you look at him now, with him so... fragile.
"I don't want you to leave me." scaramouche said, whispering, in a different voice than you've never heard. a sad one.
"well maybe if i get rid of the alcohol." you laughed, but not as happy as you used to be.
"It's incredible the control you have over me." you said, and let go of the hug, that scaramouche had a light and quick trigger, which came out very quickly when he saw that you were putting everything away. he even started to see better.
as soon as you put it all away, you said:
"Are you going to help me get the bottles out from under the bed or not?"
After you two take the bottles and throw them away, without saying a word you hugged scaramouche. that to his surprise, he didn't push you or curse you - lie, he cursed.
"Now you don't leave the house with money without me, okay."
it wasn't a question, scaramouche asserted.
for the rest of the day, you didn't even talk that much, just the next day. scaramouche slowly helped you with your addiction, too.
"Oh, I almost forgot" scaramouche says, pulling you out of the hug and facing you "I like you too." he patted her head twice.
"Now go to sleep." You agreed with a red face up to your ears, he waited for you to sleep to lie down with you and hug you.
"You are silly. Never do this again, k?"
Scaramouche will be following you, now."
