Someone has knocked over this bollard next to a road between Blackpool and Poulton. Then barriers were erected, and they were knocked over. Chaos!

You Will Not Know Me By My Bones by Aleksander Poulton
Tumblr media
The day the peasant witch Gris died was the same day he met the love of his life.
Gris is a trans man desperately in search for himself and a new body to match. And even in Ancient Greece where gods roamed, there was only a single being he could rely on. That fearful god of death Thanatos. When the ritual was finally set Gris met his first death to dank cave water. Thanatos however was not what he had expected. Young, handsome, and horribly naïve for death incarnate himself. It was almost hard not to fall for him just a bit. And well, if a kiss got Gris what he wanted what was the harm? Especially if he enjoyed it just as much.
But there always seemed to be a further cost. And soon a faceless god appears at Gris’ door begging his hand in marriage. Mortals in these sorts of tales never got happy endings, Gris is determined to be the exception.

Based on Philippa Gregory's internationally best-selling novel, Mike Poulton's The Other Boleyn Girl is a brilliant recreation of intrigue at the Tudor court - a racy and riveting drama of events that changed the course of English history, directed by Lucy Bailey.
The cast includes Alex Kingston (Doctor Who, The Tempest RSC) as Lady Elizabeth, Freya Mavor (Industry, Skins) as Anne Boleyn, Lucy Phelps (Much Ado About Nothing Shakespeare's Globe, Measure for Measure RSC) as Mary Boleyn and Andrew Woodall (South Downs/The Browning Version, Fracked! CFT) as the Duke of Norfolk.
