when pdz graduates in the blaseball normal au it is a BIG deal. she never actually thought she WOULD graduate because she just didnt really think it was an option for her. but she got through it because she had people supporting her (winnie, hewitt, eddie on the school side, leach on the hype up side) and everyone cries at the graduation. they throw them a party that they weren't expecting and give them toasts about how proud they are and they straight up start sobbing. being 20 and graduating high school is hard! but they got through it! and they have a whole FAMILY of people who were willing to help when her other family wasn't willing to compromise or see what they were doing wrong. she loves them all so much, and the feeling of being at that party that was designed to celebrate THEM and no one else BUT them is. something that is unparalleled and they will carry that feeling for the rest of her life.

The hubris is hitting tonight so here’s a blaseball drawing (that I definitely didn’t draw back in december and just not post) Anyways here’s another universe that lives in mine and @rosalindursula‘s brain (singular), consider: Dot, Zavala, and Boyfriend were all friends in season one and then kept in touch down the line.

Also I know Hollywood isn’t in San Francisco I prommy, I just had a moment of brain shut down when I made this. 

One last WIP Amnesty for me, and it’s another weird one! Last offseason, when it was three weeks instead of two, I was exploding with ideas and had very little chance to focus them. So I sat down and spent ten minutes on each idea, hashing out a rough outline, the kind of vibe I wanted to go for, dialogue beats I wanted to hit. This is that document.

I'm not remotely caught up but I finally checked out d20 for neverafter and I've been enjoying it a lot! I love creative fairy tale retellings and there's sure a lot going on in this one lol

honestly I've read too many good books in the past year for it to be easy to just pick one more, but I want to give a shoutout to ducks by kate beaton. it's already a great and important book in a lot of ways but as someone with cape breton roots, that aspect of it resonated with me very deeply
