initial spoiler theories:
note: i don’t have ideas for every spoiler, but here’s a few theories that would group some together, or some for a partial idea.
theory #1: ezran’s birthday
I think early season four may include an episode that touches upon Ezran’s birthday. This would be an easy way to catch us up timeskip wise and includes the Opeli, Barius, and 2 cakes card.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It would be a sweet way to show how Ezran’s support system has changed and grown, possibly solidifying season three. Beyond a big influx of jelly tarts, I can’t think of what else could be mysterious other than some sort of birthday treat. Ezran is the most obvious to me, but I could see it being Callum - maybe because Rayla was supposed to be there if it’s a sort of flashback? But I am currently leaning towards Ezran because the idea of his council secretly throwing him a birthday party is too sweet to pass up.
Could also have:
Tumblr media
be Soren and Ava together, if Ellis (and Ava) are invited to Ezran’s party.
theory #2: Xadian & Pentarchy politics
Tumblr media
The Gathering of the Six Horns is likely a gathering of elves or dragons from each of the Six Primal Sources / main Xadian groupings. Could refer to the decision to exile humans, lock Aaravos away, or even a post-s3 gathering to discuss the logistics of peace with humans and the Pentarchy.
Tumblr media
Janai and Karim, who’s almost certainly her brother, to have juxtaposed ideals concerning who and how Lux Aurea is ruled. Janai likely being for peace, and Karim being against humans due to the death of their sister, Khessa. Possibly each of them rallying their armies or respective factions?
Tumblr media
I’m placing this tentatively as a s6 or s7 spoiler, rather than a s4 one like the previous theories, since I think it’ll be a little longer past arc 2 (s4-s5) before Zym starts speaking. That being said, Zym and Zubeia having a heart to heart sounds super sweet, possibly about Zym taking his mother’s place on the throne, and the giant hat (?) being about the logistics of Zym having some kind of crown to wear? (Taking a human tradition, I see?)
Bonus: No idea how or where this fits in, but presumably with the Janai&Karim arc. And if Corvus is there, Amaya (and Ezran) are likely there too!
Tumblr media
theory #3: flashbacks and worldbuilding
Tumblr media
The crystal / gem lecture to me, makes sense to go to Callum, whether as him just learning about Earth magic while roaming Xadia in s4 or him starting to learn the Earth arcanum itself in a later season. It could also possibly refer to a Moon crystal (trying to track Rayla, maybe?) since we know that moon opals and the like can have special properties.
Tumblr media
For the Guardians of the Great Gates, I assume this is the Star Nexus and possibly some other Startouch elves at long last. I could also see the Gates being metaphorical, and the Great Ones (which we already know Aaravos is a part of, thanks to Ziard in 3x01 and the Book One: Moon novelization) - who are the First Elves - knowing how elves first connected to Primal sources. One thing that makes me lean this way is that Pyrda, a Skywing elf from Tales of Xadia, studies more than her own primal, so we know it’s not taboo, and she hopes to retire some day as a Guardian of (magical) Knowledge.
theory #4: where are claudia and rayla?
Tumblr media
I think this card could be in regards to Claudia in s4 in terms of digging up Moonshadow elf graves for spell parts while in Xadia. Meanwhile, for Rayla, I would love to see the card featuring “Nyx: I’m back” to refer to her. Nyx could only have that sort of vibe with Callum or Rayla adjacently because she’s met them, and I think Rayla running into Nyx while on her own could be surprisingly funny, emotional, and sweet.
theory #5: coin theory
That the Ezran card is from season five and relates to the coin theory plotline. I think this card may be a reference to a ritual relating to getting Runaan, Lain, and Tiadrin out of the coins. The reason I say this is because the “Take my hand” card from Ezran - and others, which implies a group - is similar to two key instances of ritual and forgiveness with Moonshadow elves.
Tumblr media
The first is with Ethari saying to Rayla “Take my hand” in 3x03 for forgiveness and reconciliation with Rayla, which would match a similar scene with Ezran working to bring back someone who would’ve killed him / did kill his father, as far as he knows. It would also parallel the rebirth ritual that Lujanne conducted for Phoe-Phoe at the Moon Nexus in “Through the Moon.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
bonus: soren and zubeia
I was super confused when first seeing a scene with Zubeia and Soren were on one of the cards, given that I’d never expected them to seriously interact. However on a bit of further reflection, I realized that the two have quite a lot in common. Soren couldn’t protect his king, Harrow, and failed Ezran at first by agreeing to his father’s plans; Zubeia was absent from the Spire the day her king, her mate, was felled and her child was killed / stolen. Now with Ezran as the new king and Zym having returned to her, both of these two have a second chance to protect their royal families and loved ones - especially given that Ez and Zym’s efforts towards peace are unlikely to be popular with everyone, and some people would love to take them out. So that’s my two cents for this card / scene theory, for now.
Conclusion
I have some brief other theories, like the scary ice hand relating to Rayla and her binding, and Soren’s “super rich” sketchy crimes being him joking around with Ezran about the things they can do now that Ez is king, but these are the big ones I wanted to get out now.

Are You Deceived by a Political Spirit?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
“Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod” (Mark 8:15).
Jesus tells us to be on our guard for the dangerous viruses of the religious spirit and the political spirit.
Those demonic spirits were prevalent when He walked the earth, and they are rampant around the world today. Don’t let them infect you; don’t let them have any place or foothold in you. You can love politics and even steward a call to influence in this arena, but be careful that you never begin to believe that politics carry the dominant solutions to humanity’s well-being.
God’s Kingdom can never be fully implemented at the political level because the political system is part of the world system. Politics can and should be influenced for good, and we should do all we can to call our civic leaders and systems to a higher standard of God’s justice. But political ideologies do not exalt Jesus Christ or bring Heaven to earth, and they are not the Kingdom of God. Therefore, do not place your hope in them.
Action
Renounce and repent of any ways you have knowingly or unknowingly taken on board any “yeast” from politics or religion: “Jesus, You are my rock. In You I trust. You alone bring life, justice, and righteousness. I renounce any ideologies, methodologies, systems, or rules of men that I have trusted in and put ahead of You. That even includes any man-made church traditions and rules that have become dominant in my life. I repent of choosing legalism over grace, and salvation by my effort, and works rather than by faith in Christ alone. I refuse to allow anything to come between me and You, Lord.”
Salvation is Not Found in Politics
The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship (Hebrews 10:1).
When leaders set the laws of the land and vote in measures that set some national standards for your country, remember that no matter how good these laws might be, your access to the Kingdom of Heaven has never been granted on the basis of lawmaking and law-keeping.
The message of Jesus Christ does not come with a heavy-handed “takeover” mandate that enforces rules and codes of morality that everyone must abide by, whether they truly want to or not. The people of a nation are not saved by which political or religious leaders they have at the top of the system. The law never saved anyone. It may be a reasonable measurement of a wholesome society, but it is not the core of the good news. We are saved only by the sacrifice of Jesus, and the new covenant that He made for us is in our hearts and written in our minds by His Spirit.
This word is good news also to those who live in nations with ungodly leaders who set corrupt laws and celebrate immorality. Rejoice that these leaders and their laws will not stop the spread of the Gospel and the knowledge of the glory of God (see Hab. 2:14).
Decree
Choose to recommit yourself to Jesus and reacknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior: “Jesus, You alone are the way, the truth, and the life. You came into the world to seek and save the lost. I was one of those lost sinners, and You died for me. There is no other name under Heaven—no man, no leader, no political party or system, no law, no ideology or system—by which I can be saved.”

What Percentage Of Republicans Are Pro Choice

What Percentage Of Republicans Are Pro Choice

Who Led The Shift
Pro-Choice Republican Group? Alternative Conservatives
Leading the way were Democrats and those under 45 years of age who now say they’re pro-life, the organization said. The dramatic shift occurred in the wake of several states’ efforts to legalize abortion up until birth, the Knights of Columbus added.
More from the organization:
Among Democrats, the gap between pro-life and pro-choice identifiers was cut in half from 55 percent to 27 percent. The number of Democrats now identifying as pro-life is 34 percent, up from 20 percent last month, while the number identifying as pro-choice fell from 75 percent to 61 percent. Younger Americans also moved dramatically, now dividing 47 percent pro-life to 48 percent pro-choice. One month ago, the gap was almost 40 percentage points with only 28 percent identifying as pro-life and 65 percent identifying as pro-choice.
“The recent legal changes to late-term abortion and the debate which followed have not gone unnoticed by the general public,” Barbara Carvalho, director of the Marist Poll, told the Knights of Columbus. “In just one month, there has been a significant increase in the proportion of Americans who see themselves as pro-life and an equally notable decline in those who describe themselves as pro-choice.”
What Data Says About Americans’ Support Of Abortion Rights
Various polls and studies have asked Americans how they feel about abortion since the mid-1970s. Typically, these polls ask participants whether they identify as “pro-life” or “pro-choice” as well as whether they think abortion should be legal in all cases, in some/certain cases, or not at all. For this project, we honed in specifically on the legality question because, while a person can call themselves “pro-life” or “pro-choice” , that identification doesn’t always match up with what a person thinks should be law.
That being said, there is some nuance to be considered when using legality to judge how people view abortion, says Andrea Miller, president of the National Institute for Reproductive Health . “How many of us walk around in the world, thinking about, you know, the state of legality of most things?” she asks. “People think about in the context of their lives and the context of the people they know.” There is also a lot of variation in where people fall in the “legal in most/some cases” category. For example, while someone might not think abortion should be illegal outright, they might feel that there should be restrictions on who can provide abortions or where and when they can be performed. That technically puts them in the same category as someone who is generally supportive of abortion being legal but may be uncomfortable with the idea of someone getting an abortion in the third trimester.

Abortion remained a contentious issue in the United States in 2016, with 56 percent of Americans supporting its legalization in most cases and 41 percent in opposition. After the Center for Medical Progress released a series of secretly recorded videos in 2015 that showed employees of Planned Parenthood discussing research conducted on aborted fetal tissuevideos that Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards called “heavily edited” and “fraudulent”abortion came to the forefront in the presidential election.
Questions about the legality of abortion in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother’s life, regulation of abortion clinics, and defunding Planned Parenthood were all disputed in 2016.

Women Express More Support For Abortion Access Than Men
A wealth of academic research and survey data shows that religious beliefs and partisanship are the strongest predictors of Americans support for abortion rights. Surprisingly, given how gender salient the issue of abortion is, there is a less consistent link between gender and support for abortion. However, the most recent research and data show that women do in fact express more support for abortion access than men.
The Center for American Women and Politics recently released a new resource in our research on the gender gap in politicsthe Gender Differences in Public Opinion fact sheet. According to data points on this fact sheet from the 2020 American National Election Study data and the 2020 Cooperative Election Study data, there is a gender gap in abortion support between men and women. Looking at the CES data, about 55 percent of women support abortion as a matter of choice compared to about 49 percent of mena six percentage point gap.
How Will Our Views On Abortion Impact The Election
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Access to abortion care, like access to reproductive health care writ large, is deeply inequitable in this country,” says Rachel Fey, senior director of public policy at Power to Decide. “Whether those kinds of inequities can be addressed or not does depend on the views of policymakers in Congress.” As well as, of course, who sits in the White House.
As for how abortion specifically will shape people’s votes… that obviously remains to be seen. Gallup polling from May 2020 found that 24 percent of U.S. adults say that they will only vote for a candidate who shares their views on abortion, and 47 percent say that a candidate’s position on the issue is one of several key factors they consider. “I think that people in this country are very concerned about access to reproductive health care,” says Fey. Lopez agrees and says that the onslaught of abortion bans in the South and Midwest last year added urgency to the issue. “I think white women in particular became more aware of what many of us already knew: that abortion was largely out of reach and was becoming more so through all of these state actions and also through the actions of this administration,” she says.
“People in this country are very concerned about access to reproductive health care.” Rachel Fey, senior director of public policy, Power to Decide

From 2018: Majority Of Americans Don’t Want Roe V Wade Overturned
Politically, abortion has been a stronger voting issue for Republicans than for Democrats. This poll found that abortion ranks as the second-most-important issue for Republicans in deciding their vote for president, behind immigration. But for Democrats, it is fifth behind health care, America’s role in the world, climate change and personal financial well-being.
The poll also notably found the highest percentage of people self-identifying as “pro-choice,” those who generally support abortion rights, since a Gallup survey in December 2012. In this survey, 57% identified that way versus 35%, who called themselves “pro-life,” those who are generally opposed to abortion rights.

The percentage self-identifying as “pro-choice” is an increase since a Marist Poll in February, when the two sides split with 47% each. The pollsters attribute that shift to efforts in various states to severely restrict abortion.
“The public is very reactive to the arguments being put forth by the more committed advocates on both sides of the issue,” Carvalho said, adding, “The danger for Republicans is that when you look at independents, independents are moving more toward Democrats on this issue. … When the debate starts overstepping what public opinion believes to be common sense, we’ve seen independents moving in Democrats’ corner.”

Republican Women And Abortion

An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll finds that men and women hold similar views on abortion overall, but Republican women are more opposed to abortion rights than Republican men.
SCOTT SIMON, HOST:
A majority of Americans support keeping Roe v. Wade in place. That’s the finding of a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll on abortion. And most favor allowing abortion in at least some situations. But there is one group that stands out for opposing abortion – Republican women. NPR’s national correspondent Sarah McCammon joins us. Sarah, thanks so much for being with us.
SARAH MCCAMMON, BYLINE: You’re welcome.
SIMON: We certainly have had a lot of demonstration about the heavy partisanship on the abortion issue. Tell us about how gender comes into this discussion.
MCCAMMON: Well, it’s not in the way that a lot of people might think. There’s often a lot of rhetoric about a so-called Republican war on women in the context of abortion debates, or we hear the idea that efforts to restrict abortion rights are about men trying to control women’s bodies. But when it comes to public opinion, many polls bear out the idea that men and women actually have very similar views on abortion. In our poll, 60% of women and 54% of men describe themselves as pro-choice. And I talked to Barbara Carvalho, the director of the Marist Poll. She says that’s a pretty insignificant difference.
SIMON: Sarah, what do you think accounts for the difference between Republican men and women on this issue?
Most Americans Hold Moderate Positions On Abortion But The Supreme Courts Ideological Median Has Shifted To The Right
Abortion in America
Its clear from the data points presented in CAWPs new research, and other analyses of abortion attitudes over time, that despite how polarizing an issue abortion is among pro-abortion and pro-life advocates, most Americans hold moderate positions on abortion. Furthermore, large majorities of Americans oppose an all-out ban on abortion and most oppose the potential for rollbacks to Roe that the upcoming Supreme Court case presents. However, its unclear how much public opinion matters with regard to how policy is shaped and in particular, how the Supreme Court makes decisions.
The Supreme Court, in its ideal state as envisioned by the framers of the Constitution, is supposed to be insulated from the capriciousness of public sentiment. However, its difficult to envision a world in which public opinion and mass shifts in attitudes never influence or reach the Court. Indeed, some scholars of the Supreme Court argue that shifting public sentiment may have played a role in the Roe v. Wade decision.
Don’t Miss: Are There More Democrats Or Republicans In The Senate
Republican Majority For Choice
The Republican Majority for Choice was a Republican organization in the United States dedicated to preserving legal access to abortion. The group also supported federal funding for all kinds of stem cell research, including embryonic stem cell research.
RMC had a political action committee and supported Republicans across the country who favored abortion rights. The group closed operations in 2018.
The name was chosen to emphasize information based on polling that consistently shows that a majority of Republicans support legal access to abortion in at least some circumstances. In 2009, Gallup reported that 66% of Republicans agreed that abortion should be legal in some or all circumstances. A Gallup poll in 2011 found that 27% of Republicans identified themselves as “pro-choice”. However, 42% of Republicans support legal abortion during the first trimester. In 2017, Gallup released polling information showing that 36% of Republicans identified as “pro-choice” and 70% agreed that abortion should be legal in some or all circumstances.
In 2018, an NBC/Wall St Journal poll found that 52% of Republicans supported the Roe v Wade Supreme Court ruling and did not want said ruling to be overturned.
The Role Of The Supreme Court
President Donald Trumps two appointments to the Supreme Court, Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, gave Republican-appointed justices a majority on the nations highest court.
Anti-abortion advocates see the courts makeup as a chance to weaken or overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 court ruling that legalized abortion.
They want to make hay while the sun shines and pass as much of their pet legislation as they can while they have the opportunity, said Dennis Goldford, a political science professor at Drake University in Des Moines.
Some state lawmakers and activists have said theyve specifically written legislation to spark a legal challenge that will end up before the Supreme Court.

The current focus on overturning Roe v. Wade has parallels to the early 1990s, when the court had eight justices who were appointed by Republican presidents. In 1992, the court reaffirmed Roe v. Wade in the case Planned Parenthood v. Casey, which questioned a Pennsylvania law that implemented a number of restrictions on abortions. The court upheld most of the provisions but also established that state rules cannot impose an undue burden on a woman seeking an abortion before the fetus attains viability.

More Than Half Of Americans Identify As ‘pro
More than half of Americans now identify as “pro-choice” when it comes to abortion, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Friday.
The poll found that 57 percent of Americans surveyed said they support abortion rights, while 35 percent;said they were against the procedure. A similar poll in January found that;55 percent of Americans considered themselves pro-choice, while 38;percent identified as pro-life.;
Support for legal abortions was highest among Democrats, with 74 percent of;respondents saying they supported abortion rights, while 64 percent of Republicans said they were against it. Sixty percent of independents said they identified as “pro-choice.”
The gap between;men and women on the issue was slim, the poll found, with 54 percent of men saying they support abortion,;compared with;60 percent of women who said the same.
The issue remains a hot-button topic ahead of the 2020 election cycle.;More than half 53;percent of respondents said they would definitely not vote for a presidential candidate who would put justices on the Supreme Court;who would limit or overturn Roe V. Wade, the landmark ruling that legalized abortion.
More than three-quarters of those surveyed, 77;percent, said the Supreme Court should uphold the landmark decision that established a woman’s right to abortion in some form. A;strong majority, 61 percent, said they favored a combination of limitations on abortion.

The organization has quoted the Republican Party’s Statement of Principles, suggesting that this encompasses the option to choose abortion: the Party wants “n America with a smaller less burdensome government that trusts its people to decide what is best for them … n America where freedom of expression, individual conscience, and personal privacy are cherished and respected.”
It has called for the Human Life Amendment to be removed from the abortion plank and that the platform reflect real policy that represents a common ground approach where both sides of the GOP can work together to make abortion unnecessary without taking away women’s rights.
RFC has successfully gotten language into the platform that encourages Republicans to follow their conscience on this and other divisive issues. They do not ask those who disagree with them to leave the GOP but rather to join with them to return to the real core Republican values that call for smaller government and protecting personal freedom. They believe this should extend to both men and women. Ultimately they believe in a GOP that helps get the government out of the boardroom and the bedroom.
In that light, Republicans for Choice has suggested changes to the Republican National Platform with regard to societal attitudes towards gay and lesbian issues.

Gallup: Percentage Of Pro
A new Gallup survey out today finds the percentage of Americans who identify them selves as supporting legalized abortion has dropped to a record low.
The 41% of Americans who now identify themselves as pro-choice is down from 47% last July and is one percentage point below the previous record low in Gallup trends, recorded in May 2009, the polling firm noted. On the other hand, 51 percent of Americans call themselves pro-life, one percentage point away from the record high.
The percentage of Americans identifying themselves as pro-life has trended higher since 1995, when the partial-birth abortion debate began in earnest and ultrasound technology made it so pictures of unborn children were the first baby pictures most parents saw. Gallup has found the pro-life position significantly ahead on two occasions, once in May 2009 and again today and the number of pro-abortion Americans has steadily dropped.
Gallup says the decline in Americans self-identification as pro-choice is seen across the three U.S. political groups with Republicans increasingly becoming pro-life.
Since 2001, the majority of Republicans have consistently taken the pro-life position, but by a gradually increasing margin over pro-choice. That gap expanded further this year, with the percentage of Republicans identifying as pro-life increasing to 72% from 68% last May, and those identifying as pro-choice dropping to 22% from 28%, Gallup noted.

Trump supporters wanted to murder Mike Pence by hanging him   2 days ago in POLITICSThe out way f control cult-like followers of number 45 desired to kill the Vice President for doing his job.Jake Tapper just announced on CNN that some of the people involved in the attack on the White House desired to take the life of Vice President Mike Pence. This just shows how crazed and out of control these fanatical Trumpsters are. The Vice President has been loyal to his boss these past 4 years and remained silent through a lot of the drama that was caused by number 45. The reason some of those in the mob wanted the Vice President to die is that they believe he turned his back on Donald Trump. This stems from the fact that the President's dent ordered Mike Pence to find a way to overturn the election results but Pence would not.Mike Pence was obeying the rule of law while the Donald continues in the business model that has worked for him in corporate America. He had no understanding of the way Government works and thinks he can say “ Jump” and everyone will say “ How high”. Trump is used to giving orders and those around him finding a way to make things happen. This is not the way the US Government operates so number 45 became angry at his VP and called him weak. The President wanted Vice President Pence to make sure to overturn the election results when Congress met on Wednesday to solidify that Joe Biden had won. Pence replied that he did not have the power to do so and during the violent protest, people were heard chanting “Hang Mike Pence” over and over. This is an outrage as the root of all of this is the lie that the election was rigged. Just now on CNN, an angry mob was shown following Senator Lindsey Graham shouting at him that he knows the election was rigged.Like Mike Pence, Lindsey Graham had been an ardent Trump supporter. Neither man had any idea that things would escalate as they did. Trump supporters turn on everyone who disagrees with number 45 which is the mentality of cult followers protecting their leader. These individuals really believe the election was rigged and they were trying to stop the certification of Joe Biden which is what Donald Trump wanted. They do not see how crazy this is and never acknowledge that the President is not being a true leader. According to an interview on CNN, the 40-year-old police officer who died was beaten to death by Trump supporters with a fire extinguisher. There is no doubt that in such a frenzy they would have attempted to do harm to Mike Pence if the opportunity presented itself. It is being alleged that Donald Trump did not once call to check on his VP during the mob attack to see if he was OK. News reports say Donald Trump was talking to Rudy Giuliani during the attack on the White House. The subject of the conversation was how Trump could overturn the election results. Sadly there are those planning to do something on January 20 during the inauguration. At this point at least 13 people have been arrested who were a part of the terror attack on the White House. The FBI is seeking the public to help them identify even more. What a sad day in America that a sitting President incited an angry mob to storm the White House. Five lives were lost and his own Vice President’s life was threatened. The President has not addressed this issue that the satisfaction of most and had fear-mongering condolences to the families of those who died.

The Power of Sports Part 2
                       Topic: Kneeing in Sports
                       Blog By: Corey McKenzie
If you read my last blog about Professional Athletes kneeing during the national anthem then you realize that it is a very touchy subject on whether or not athletes should be forced to stand during the national anthem. In this blog I am going to cover why I personally think that kneeing during the national anthem should not be allowed by professional athletes before the games are played.
Now of course I understand that everyone has the right to free speech due to the first amendment so players taking a knee should be allowed due that practice being their right as a person. I also understand they are trying to bring light/ national coverage to a very important issue of social injustice amongst police and African American’s which also is covered by the first amendment of peaceful protest. I totally agree that there needs to be some changes done about police killing unarmed African Americans but kneeing during the anthem is not the best way to do it in my opinion and people should not get upset when a league tries to pass a rule saying kneeing is not allowed and here is why.
The very first argument I have is its very disrespectful to knee during our countries National Anthem. I say this because we have soldiers who are dying for this country every single day and having professional athletes knee while our National Anthem is one of the biggest slaps in the face towards our American Soldiers who are fighting for our freedom. I personally believe athletes should leave all politics out of the game when they are playing their schedule game or games that week. If you want to protest before or after your game, then I would totally be all for the professional athletes raising awareness to major issues happening in the United States because its not only their right but something that should be changed for the better of this country for everyone. I just believe if you keep allowing politics during the game then less fans will show up due to the athletes more worried about trying to be political figures then professional athletes and not putting on the best show for their respected team and fans.
The next major argument I have to professional sport leagues allowing kneeing is it actually hurts the owners of the professional teams and the league itself not only financially but also in how often people are willing to pay attention to the selected sports. As a team owner you should have total say over what goes on for your team so if an owner wants to ban players from kneeing then they have the total right to do so. This is covered by being in control of all team operations so a key example is owner Jerry Jones for the Dallas Cowboys saying he would fine players if they did not stand for the National Anthem. This caught a lot of major raft saying he should not be allowed to fine his team but due to be owner of the organization and have total control he had the right to fine his team as he wishes. This caused some people to turn against the Dallas cowboys but ultimately a lot of fans/ viewers gave credit to Jerry saying he took the stand that no one else would try and stop kneeing during the National anthem. As “The American Spectator” shows that that professional Sport Leagues have seen almost 30% decrease in views from fans when the Professional league allows kneeing or other political messages to be shown. This has seen The National Football League and Major League Baseball to see dramatic decrease in fan attendance and views from home due to allowing their players to voice their political opinions by knee for the flag. This causes owners of the Professional teams to lose very important financial profit at the end of the year which eventually if the financial gain keeps getting lower and lower year after year they will unable to sign the big star players due to not being able to afford their contract which limits the amount of talent a team can produce to contend during the season. This will also lead to even more financial burden due to fans not showing up due to the team not having the talent so fans will not spend money to go see the team in person. I know that is a very dramatic played out situation, but it could very well happen if the attendance of fans keeps decreasing every year because of kneeing in sports.
The final Major argument I am going to address about kneeing in sports is going to take a utilitarian approach due to I personally believing the only thing kneeing In sports is doing is dividing this country more and more by the day. This is a utilitarian approach because I believe no positivity has came out from allowing kneeing in sports. “ Just like Pro Con” said many fans are irritated at the fact that Colin Kaepernick is claiming he is oppressed due to being an African American Male but yet he made over  $ 112 million dollars during his time in the National Football League. This has caused many fans to burn Kaepernick’s jersey and wanting the National Football League team owners to not sign him to allow him to play no more. This has actually happened due to Colin not being on a team for the last three season the National Football league.
Overall I understand that many people will have different opinions on this matter and I personally think that is what makes The United States so special is that you can voice your opinion freely and talk about anything you choose. I just personally believe if athletes keep bringing politics into professional sports it is going to cause a major decrease in fan attendance and divide the country even more which will ultimately not solve anything when it comes to trying to eliminate social injustice. Please feel free to respond to my blog below I would love to hear different opinions you may have. I am going to leave you with this I believe the players should play the game with all their attention on the game and worry about political matters later. This will not only increase the level of play for the fans in the attendance but will also allow people of all races to come together for a short while and forget what is going on in the world and just enjoy the game with friends and family while enjoying seeing the best athletes in the world competing on a level playing field.
