Actually, I want to go more into depth on Cyrus for a moment, in relation to that post I just reblogged.

I personally headcanon that Cyrus is Touched Starved and Touch Repulsed. So if he slept in the same bed as me, our backs would touch, but usually we have our respective pressure items (him a pressure blanket, my s/i, Bamboo, a stuffed teddiursa with beans in it). However, since coming back from the Distortion World, Cyrus would have very abstract, strange nightmares. He would wake up with a start, but has trained himself to not wake anyone up from them, and leaves the room.

I imagine that he's been going to therapy for what happened, and maybe he sketches or just builds a tiny machine while calming down from the nightmare. Bamboo has learned the different types of nightmares he has, ranging from needing someone close by, to just giving him space until he's ready to come back to bed or talk about it.

These nightmares range from the pressure that was placed on him from his family, (sorry Cyllene, you accidentally started a cycle of abuse for your descendants 😔) to being trapped in the Distortion World with Giratina. However, he'd also have nightmares of actually succeeding in his plan to restart the world. These nightmares make him realize just how emotional and vulnerable he is, especially because those latter nightmares usually center on him losing Bamboo in the process.

Bamboo tries to help him through these, but there's only so much she can do. The therapy Audino; from her friend, Milly, in Unova, who specifically breeds and trains Pokemon for being service or therapy Pokemon; helps him where Bamboo can't. Even Cyrus' own Pokemon help him out in these scenarios as well.

Sometimes he calls the former Galactic Commanders; Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn. Hearing them reassures him that he's still in our world, and everything is as it was.
