Eevee version regular version and Cubone version is the artist exlusive version only unlocked by seeking out then defeating a random NPC artist not even related to the main story who will fight with a Cubone disguised Mimikyu; The artist is the only one who can make a Cubone disguise for Mimikyu with it not being found anywhere else in the whole region.

How to evolve: No evolution.

The moon still changing to different fullness percents with times there is no moon visible.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Ghost Fairy. 

Ability: Disguise.

Description: Mimikyu is a pokemon that is known as a trickster disguise pokemon due to it looking like an Eevee, unless a very special disguise is given by one NPC who only made it because his Mimikyu's disguise was damaged beyond repair saving him from a wild pokemon that attacked, so it used to make people think Eevees could be found in the wild. Until it was confirmed that all the Eevees were just Mimikyus. It hides in this disguise which it can only create itself once in its life and is actually hard to damage or destroy. It is born with greater power than it does for the rest of its life, thus once it is hatching time it will use that excess power to make its disguise before emerging from the egg. No one has seen what it looks like under the disguise as it will hold its disguise down if anyone tries to lift it to sneak a peek. If it is given the artist exclusive design then it will run away to hide to change then return to its trainer with its Eevee disguise nowhere to be seen. Not much is known about this since the Cubone Mimikyu is only used by the artist that made the disguise, with the main character being the only other one who uses one if stepping away from the main story to obtain the disguise. The Cubone disguise does nothing but change its appearance as it remains the same pokemon as before just with a new look.

Lore:

When it was first discovered it made people believe that there must be wild Eevees out there, only to disappoint them when no real wild Eevee's were found. There is a legend that the first Mimikyu that used the Eevee disguise did so when it arrived to this region from elsewhere become a boat stowaway after losing its disguise from where it came from, then found that Eevee was pretty popular thus using the disguise to gain attention to itself which worked. Since then it somehow passed on any other Mimikyu that were born after its arrival into the Lunar region. It is the only pokemon except for Eevee and the Eeveelutions that doesn't really change much compared to outside of the Lunar region. It just has a different disguise than any outside of the region.

Design inspiration: Eevee, Cubone, Mimikyu looking like Pikachu which tends to be one of the most recognizable pokemon out there and the pokemon mascot, and me having trouble deciding which version to go with due to liking both designs so one became a special version and the other is the normal version.

Ability: Houndour: Pixilate. Houndoom: Misty surge.

Description: A pokemon that is the embodiment of love and lust. They are one of the pokemon often seen in celebrations such as valentines day and even cards about love. They are rather friendly pokemon who show a deep love for their trainers as long as the trainers treat them with respect. If not then they turn distant and disobedient even attempting to leave trainers who treat them badly. Not even liking to be in the same room as bad trainers that don't treat them with respect. In the wild they do live in packs with ranks from an alpha male and female to even omegas. Some consist of only Houndour or Houndoom while other wild packs consist of both. They have territory and will defend it however if a human in their territory does not have ill intentions and or shows them kindness and respect like not attacking them then they can be more friendly letting them pass. So this information has been spread wide like warnings of what to do when encountering a pack of either of these pokemon. If one wants to catch a wild one then the best way is believed to approach a pack while in their territory, but staying away from their home as they will protect any babies from harm, and place a pokeball in front of themselves before backing away then waiting. If any consider becoming a part of one's team then it will approach when the others leave to which it must be battled then caught to truly earn its respect unless the pokemon goes into the pokeball one has set down though this is rare, there is also a chance that an alpha may send one of its members to see if you are worthy of taking said member in usually this is an omega or a member of the pack that is below alphas and the second in command betas. It is very rare for an alpha or beta to possibly allow itself to be taken in by a trainer. If one tries to attack any of the members without taking this step then they can expect to be targeted by the entire pack and even unwelcome in their territory. They have a good memory of those unwelcome in their territory so they'll always attack if someone who has become unwelcome wanders back into their territory. Though packs don't share information so other packs will not be aware of what one might have done in one packs territory that made whoever it was unwelcome. So if one messes up with one pack they can be rest assured that the other packs will still give them a chance.

Lore: Houndour is said to be a pokemon owned by creatures such as cupid. A pokemon who is said to represent more love than lust. It is believed that they are able to show whether or not a couple will end up breaking up or living a happily ever after forever. They are used by some for couples to come over and be in a room with one of these pokemon. It is believed that if the pokemon shows love and happiness to both then the couple will be together happily forever. But if it shows love to one then dislike to the other or if it doesn't like either of the two then it is believed that the couples relationship is doomed to end in a break up. Some couples seek out this pokemon, some braver ones even try searching for a wild one especially if they can't find anyone who owns one, before they plan to get married to see if they should get married or call the wedding off to not hurt anyone hopeful that they'll be together forever. Some even have one at their wedding if they are given the sign that their love will last forever to also celebrate and thank the pokemon for showing them that they are meant to be together. While they may show if a couple is meant to be they are actually not used traditionally as gifts of love to others unless in a nonalive form like cards or a plush.

Houndoom is also said to be owned by those like cupid but is also believed to be the pokemon of creatures who focus on lust rather than love. They are believed to be focused more on lust than love in representation though will still sometimes be featured one things of love like cards to a loved one. It is used by those in the adult industry as there is a belief that they can help in enhancing the feelings of ones lust. They are also used as security often being bonded to workers of adult places and will go after guests with bad intentions or who try to do something to the workers that is not allowed. They are often treated very well by the workers not only to help the bond so they'll help protect those they care about but to also show respect plus thanks for their work. They are usually nice to visitors unless something isn't right or a visitor tries something not allowed. They are only rarely used by those who seek to see if their relationship will last forever or not because they are usually associated with lust rather than love. Though there are a few who do use them believing that they can be both love and lust however do give the couples the option if they want to use one or use a Houndour to check their love status.

Year of the Dragon 2024

A spin off of my Pop Culture Paleoart series, and a tribute to the concept of the dragon, from the mythological beasts that inspire awe and wonder, to the plethora of dragons of pop culture... and of course the great reptiles that either probably inspired them or are named after.

From the lovable bearded dragon to the mighty Komodo dragon, and the creatures of the past that we also name after the awe-inspiring creature.

I'll leave y'all to guess which dragon is which in this piece, but I can give you the names of the dragons of our world:

Jessica is one of the founders of Team Eclipse. She used to be quite a normal girl who had dreams of becoming a pokemon researcher. She was known to be on the shy side being quiet and preferring to take in information around her before making judgement. She will even prefer to send out the weakest member of her party first to observe how one battles before she truly engages in the battle. She does this to decide if she should use a more offense type strategy or a more defense type strategy. She raised Milotic from a Feebas and has refused to part with the pokemon ever since. When she began to suspect that there was something might be going on along with some friends she met on her travels they vowed to get answers. Her path turning from wanting to just be a researcher to being determined to get the answers of what is truly going on no matter what. She has a cool and calm type attitude and helps to gather information out on the field sharing it with another founder who prefers to stay indoors. She tends to be one of the two main founders that are encountered by anyone who tries to get into Team Eclipse activity in the region when a founder is present. She also believes that she is very beautiful and doesn't change her mind no matter what others say, tending to take any agreements to her beauty as proof that someone has a good view. She isn't interested in dating however and any guys who compliment her will be let down as she just accepts the compliments and then will just act as if the one who complimented her doesn't mean anything.

Ability: Cursed body.

Description: Lapras is a ghost pokemon that is able to swim and is more often found in the water than on land. Though it can survive on both. It swims in the water and is able to just lay on the ground or even float to move around. Some of them prefer to travel alone though they can also be found traveling in groups. It is able to sing with a beautiful voice that some describe as even soothing, touching and reassuring when it is heard.

Lore: Lapras in ancient writing was described as the pokemon who collects the souls of the dead then carries them to the afterlife. The holes in its shell is said to be where the souls are put to be carried by this pokemon so they may be able to go to the afterlife. Many still believe this while others no longer believe it. When it is seen by sailors it is said to be a bad omen. A sign that whoever saw it was going to die at sea. It is believed that it's singing is secretly used to assure the dead spirits that it is okay despite that their lives came to end. Some hospitals have special staff who own a Lapras so the Lapras can go to rooms where a recent death has occurred. Then asked to sing for the dead one. To which after their shift the staff allow their Lapras pokemon to swim in lakes, seas, or rivers to allow it to send the souls it has collected to the afterlife.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Wanted to do another compilation of a pokemon species! This one was fun because dragon is not only a fictional species, it is also a type of pokemon. I included pokemon that arent dragon type but are clearly dragons, like charizard, and i excluded pokemon that are dragon type but clearly are something else. I hope I didn't leave out any dragon by accident! (there is only one dragon that i do consider a dragon but just didnt want to draw kalfjaklfj) I also included three pokemon I don't really consider dragons, but more like kaiju (and i dont know how to describe it but theres like a different vibe to me between a kaiju and a dragon) those being tyranatar, aggron, and baxcaliber, but I had extra space and they fit, so I stuck them in -w-
