The first map of a town in the Lunar Region!

This is Jewel city. It is a city where the main character lives and begins their journey. It is a smaller city and barely considered one, the population barely makes it above a town. Just a few houses and one apartment/Hotel building. Most that live here are average kind of people. It gets it's name from the glass jewels that stick out of the ground here and there. The jewels are completely worthless however the city has embraced it like their own special landmark. Not that it brings any tourists which keeps it rather small. So the hotel rooms tend to be given to residents as if they are extra apartments.

Buildings:

Main character's house is the one with the chimney at the bottom of the city. The window at the top is the loft where the room is split into two for the sister and the main character each get their own bedroom. The moms bedroom is to the back of the main floor of the house.

The Apartments/Hotel is the big building with many windows. It has sliding glass doors muck like a bunch of stores have. It is also a place where one can buy day to day things as a section is devoted to that. There isn't as much as compared to other stores however it is enough to help the people that reside there. This is located on the main floor off to the right, while the rest of the building focuses on the living spaces for the residents. It is said that the apartments are decent and though not very big still give enough room for people to live comfortably. It mostly has apartments with only very few empty spots to act as hotel since there isn't any tourists. So it only keeps them open just in case any family visiting from elsewhere needs a spot to stay while in town. It houses most of the population inside apartments as when originally founded it was thought the jewels were special so they thought the place would expand a lot. Only to be shown to be wrong as it remained small yet those there still like to call it home. It started as a hotel which decided to switch to mostly apartments after realizing that the jewels wouldn't really bring tourists in.

The house on the top left is the house of a retired couple who has grandkids on the other side of the region. This house is usually cozy and the old couple are very nice often offering some berries to visitors of their home. They have two berry trees in their backyard hidden by the front of their home, one Oran berry tree and the other a Cheri berry tree. They take care of them as best as they can and often offer the berries to wild pokemon that pass through just beyond the city borders. If visited before leaving town they will gift five Oran and five Cheri berries.

The house at the top right is where the resident nurse lives. She got her medical training and decided to care for the people and pokemon of the city. She is quite sweet and doesn't charge for her services though those in the city always send her money twice a month as thanks for her services. She will also often receive gifts as well. She was once married to the mayor of the city however the mayor passed away from a sudden illness so the main characters mother steps up if anything important has to be discussed. Which isn't always since the city runs fairly well on its own since mostly everyone knows everyone thus making matters needing a higher powered figure less common; Most of the time it is handled by the residents together with the higher power just being there just in case.

This town isn't too special though it is the main place the main character knows having grown up there until it becomes time to finally leave home.

Bloodmoon Umbreon, Eclipse Espeon, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Bloodmoon Umbreon level up high friendship Eevee during a Bloodmoon. Eclipse Espeon level up high friendship Eevee during an Eclipse either solar or lunar eclipse.

How to obtain during main character's quest: A scientist brings one specimen from the past into the present giving the main character the choice of receiving one. Only presented by their names with no other information on them. Done in thanks to the main character helping protect the scientist from the evil team goons. Saying that the other will be promised to the Hero of the region, aka once the main character defeats the legendary pokemon the other is given to the main character. If this scientist is skipped during the storyline, it not said that the scientist will gift them to the main character though the main character is invited into the scientist's work area anytime as a part of his thanks which hunts to this, then if the main character encounters the scientist after defeating the legendary the scientist will gift both of them to the main character.

Region: A region of eternal night as scientists created plants that could grow in moonlight, though there is some places that try to create artificial lights for the plants that couldn't grow in the moonlight. The moon still changing to different fullness percents with times there is no moon visible.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Bloodmoon Umbreon: Dark Ghost. Eclipse Espeon: Psychic Fairy.

Ability: Bloodmoon Umbreon: Guts. Eclipse Espeon: Mind's Eye.

Description: These pokemon were originally believed to just be pieces of legend due to their rarity, thus are not currently seen as an evolution from an Eevee that is worthy in the Royal family, since no Eclipses or Bloodmoons have happened in a very long time since Eternal night arrived. Due to this if someone outside of the Royal family were to own one they do not get treated any differently than any other citizen in the region. Despite this they were pretty amazing to people back in the day when it was possible to obtain them. Believing them to be more powerful than the normal Umbreon and Espeon which is only slightly true as these pokemon do have slightly boosted stats by ten points to each stat compared to the normal Umbreon and Espeon. There was no real record of these pokemon as they were so rare that it was very hard to study them. Thus leaving them with the status of just being part of a story of the past when the sun still shone on the region. The main character can report back to the scientist that gave these pokemon to them after using these pokemon more, tracked by these pokemons friendship towards the main character, in order to earn one hundred dollars for each report then one thousand dollars if all four interactions slash updates are completed. This is only an optional side quest that does not have to be done in order to complete the region storyline.

Bloodmoon Umbreon was said in legends to have an attitude and did enjoy fighting other pokemon. Not trusting or behaving to a trainer that it does not know or have any sort of bond with outside of battles with other pokemon. Even not letting those it doesn't know to touch it or pet it in anyway. However it is also said that this is a front in order to hide its softer nature where it will become an absolute sweetheart to someone it has a good bond with it. It is even said to stay at that person's side as much as possible ready to defend that person with its life if that is needed. It is believed to be a resilient pokemon that can truly take a lot before it will actually die, die as in die forever and not fainting in battle. There is even a story of how one revealed an abusive King that was thrown into jail for abusing his own Queen. This story has been debated on whether or not it is true for a long time, actually being a true story from when one of the times it was the companion of a Queen. It is even been said that it can see in the dark helping any it cares for to navigate the dark. It is also said to be able to sense vibrations of things around it in the dark such as the movements of small pokemon in the walls. It uses this to be able to hunt in total darkness using the element of surprise to attack its prey. Said to be an exclusive carnivore with it hunting small pokemon if not fed or so it was once said. A few claimed that it did eat berries occasionally though most agree it needed meat in its diet; That any meat would do with some getting scared of being eaten by this pokemon in the dark despite that no mention of it actually ever eating a human has been mentioned. Not much is known about this pokemon outside of these legends.

Eclipse Espeon is said in legends to be a very gentle soul that will allow others to pet it however while doing so it will keep its sitting position, only leaning into the touches if it is someone it has a deep bond with. It was said to be very soft to the touch and its fur is at a length that can cover the top half of fingers before its skin is reached, except for areas where it is visibly longer on its body which can hide a whole hand. Despite its fluff in its ears it actually is said to have a great sense of hearing, said to be able to hear the call of its owner from the either side of a mountain. Able to run straight to its owner after even just one call for this pokemon to come. Some believed that its long fur or even its jewel also helps it be able to sense the sound from such a distance; There was a few who said that the fur in its ears help it to be able to expand its hearing and that the jewel is able to scan to find its owners exact location. Over the years it became more widely believed that the fur helped in its hearing and the jewel was indeed a tool used to scan for its trainer. It is said that using these abilities it can track and stalk prey from distances until its prey lowers its guard. It is said to not actually eat anything and only sucks out any liquid from its prey usually being spoken about how it sucks juice from berries. There was never really any mention that it actually drank from humans or other pokemon though at one point some were paranoid they were stalked by this pokemon for their blood. Not much is known about this pokemon outside of these legends.

Lore:

These pokemon were once given the same treatment as other friendship evolutions do in the Royal family. However as this treatment was lost when they were believed to be only legends. This pokemon also is only known from the legends of the past in this region.

Bloodmoon Umbreon was once believed to be gifted by evolution to those that need protection before it was told how it was actually evolved. It got this protector status after the incident with the abusive King happened. It was once believed that if it was owned by a Royal that it would do a favor for its owner and search in the dark for those who are missing especially children. This pokemon has been said to only have appeared a few times in history. Not much is known about this pokemon other than the legends.

Eclipse Espeon was once believed to be used by a Royal owner to watch over the kingdom while in power. It was once called as one of the most regal looking evolutions in the Eevee line. It has a preferred way to sit which it will take up more often than not. It was once even said to be a sign of hope even when something that seemed scary to those of the past such as an eclipse happens. Not much is known about this pokemon other than the legends.

Design inspiration: Animals with their tails around their paws, Squirrelflight art where her tail curls at the tip especially, Bloodmoon and Eclipses, and Scourge from Warrior cats with his collar and his claws visible in art.

Lunar region is a region that I have thought about making. I will be making more Pokémon and variants for this region.

How to evolve: No evolution.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Water Normal.

Ability: Storm Drain.

Description: This pokemon can often be seen flying around, sometimes even dancing around in the air, when rain storms appear only to later disappear a few moments after the rain has stopped. They seem to disappear though actually go invisible as they have been seen turning invisible by those who have one. However it has never become known where they go when there is no rain happening. Those that own these pokemon have found that if they try to get their pokemon to show them it will refuse or wander in circles, a few have even just taken their owner back to the owners own home. Any attempts to attach anything to the pokemon before it goes invisible have failed as it falls off as soon as they become invisible. The only time these pokemon are seen outside of the rain is when they are owned by a human, which has shown no negative or even positive affect on the pokemon being outside of the rain. Some call this pokemon a flock pokemon however there has been no proof that the groups of them that appear when rain comes are together like a pack. This pokemon is also known as a pretty easy pokemon to care for as it only needs water to eat to sustain itself, it can ingest almost anything however it will prefer just any kind of water over anything else, plus it is a pretty peaceful pokemon. This seems to be the main reason this pokemon enjoys rainy times, however even when it is not hungry if there is a sprinkler or anything that acts like rain even if its set up for a child then this pokemon behaves the same as it does in the rain. Some owners even have sprinkler times in the day to watch this pokemon be super happy in the makeshift rain for a little bit. It's happiest moments happen to be when it is in the rain or in simulated rain even by a sprinkler.

Lore:

This poekmon was once believed by ancient humans to be the Gods of storms. The ancient people built a temple where they would try to communicate with the supposed Gods of the storms. They would ask for a storm or ask to spared from any damage an intense storm that is incoming will bring. A young ancient scientist thought that something was weird how this didn't always seem to work, and secretly investigated later catching a Castform of his own until having enough proof. He managed to show everyone that these pokemon do not control storms. So the temple was left abandoned due to this, and now in the spot it was left to rot there is a small forest that has grown around it. This temple has been investigated and proven to not be where this pokemon goes when there is no rain. These pokemon are very loyal companions to their owners in that they will not leave their trainers even during rainy times; Instead this pokemon will dance around the area of its trainer in the rain then return after the storm, and will leave the rain behind if its trainer were to go somewhere even if it is away from the storm. Some believe that this is a form of returning the favor from when humans used to loyally praise them as Gods. Not that this has ever been proven to be the case as any studies into it has come up inconclusive.

Design inspiration: All Castform official designs nothing else really.

Pidgey, Pidgeotto and Pidgeot, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Pidgey to Pidgeotto level 18. Pidgeotto to Pidgeot level 36.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Flying Steel.

Ability: Pidgey: Keen eye. Pidgeotto: Big Pecks. Pidgeot: Unnerve.

Description: These pokemon usually are found in flocks though are mostly docile unless they believe that they are under threat. Which mostly one or two members of the flock will handle the threat, unless the entire flock is needed. These flocks usually contain the first two evolutions with the final evolution being the leader of the flock. The leader of the flock tends to make the others hunt food for it while making decisions for the whole flock, from resolving conflicts to being able to command the whole flock to attack a perceived threat. Old people enjoy feeding these pokemon pieces of various berries watching them peck at the ground to gather up the food. Some have even managed to feed a wild flock leader and say that they have been given a shake with its tail in the air as thanks. These pokemon are surprisingly not territorial. As long as their nests are not being targeted they do not care about other pokemon or other flocks being nearby. Hence it is almost impossible to tell if those that are seen in groups gathering food are even from the same flock. Scientists find it interesting how these pokemon can act as though they are all from the same flock, not even attacking one another for grabbing food from the same spot. Though their feathers are soft at first they can harden these feathers into steel feathers to attack enemies and threats, however this tends to be the way they warn someone to back off. Scientist have not been able to find a way to turn a turned steel feather back to a soft feather deeming it impossible.

Pidgey are the most common to be seen from this line. They tend to be the ones seen gathering food from the elderly. They are seen as workers in the flock and most of the time focus on their tasks of gathering food, usually dividing the work between each other in order to get food for themselves and their leader. They tend to be the most docile and prefer to stay out of trouble if possible. They will fly away to escape though will shoot out steel feathers to warn off those that persist. Despite its small size it is actually intelligent and can even remember someone it has met only once, as seen when certain ones went to the same elderly person ignoring all others for food when spotting him gaining a bigger piece of food. This elderly man and the pokemon seemed to even have a bond with the pokemon showing no fear of being around the man, who even told his family that those pokemon brought him a sense of relaxation as he enjoyed his last bit of time alive. People feel bad as when the elderly these pokemon can bond with pass away these pokemon do look sorrowful when they come to realize that the person is gone. Its dark colors are meant to help it hide in the shadows especially the shadows of a tree as it is well aware of being the weakest of the three evolutions in the flock. Its feathers, both hard and soft, are used to train children to write with feather pens that include feather pens of its other evolutions. It and its evolutions have safe harvesting techniques that are used to make sure that the feathers needed are gathered without hurting the pokemon.

Pidgeotto can have a bit more of a temper and tends to evolve from fighting off threats. When it evolves it becomes a guard for the flock usually being look outs as needed for those gathering food. It will join the others in gathering food however is the one to abandon that mission if cries for help are heard. These pokemon will save any of its evolutions in trouble even if that pokemon is from another flock. It's time in the flock is on a timer as eventually it'll evolve and must leave the flock to find or create its own; unlike what some may think it's actions to help protect the flock are acknowledge and scientists have watched a whole ceremony held for the one that evolved with even what seemed to be thank yous for what this pokemon did before evolving before it flies off away from the flock. These pokemon battle each other until one evolves if the leader were to die, however if a new leader arrives before an evolution happens then the leader is accepted easily into the flock. These pokemon are very loyal to those that they care about and have even rushed into kitchens to defend their trainers from danger if the trainer makes a distressed sound. It is hard to calm it down when this happens unless the threat is gone. It's methods of dealing with threats tend to be attacking until the threat runs away as this pokemon does not chase threats unless needed.

Pidgeot has a big role to play in the flocks being the leader making it not commonly seen, with even evolutions not happening as often due to how docile this line of pokemon are as they try to stay out of trouble. This pokemon will usually stay by the nests to watch over it and to protect it while food is being gathered. It has even been seen taking care of newly hatched eggs if the parents are not there, the eggs of this pokemon can survive and hatch without a mothers warmth on top with the only two ways to stop it are freezing or boiling them, thus even mothers of eggs will be sent out for food. It's authority over the flock is never questioned however luckily only one known time of a jerk flock attacking in swarms for no reason was found. A flock that calmed down when the leader was caught and a new leader rose to power. This pokemon is fiercely intelligent and can even be trained to repeat human speech or even learn the cries of other pokemon to be able to mimic them. It also usually needs puzzle toys or adventure when kept by trainers with many puzzle treat toys made to try to challenge this pokemon. This pokemon is merciful as it can be able to tell a potentially lost preevolution from another flock from one that means harm. With it even being observed that lost members of a flock will even get an escort by members of another flock to find a way home. They are very forgiving with children even letting them pull and nip at their tails without even flinching or trying to peck a child, it will turn around to peck anyone older than a child if its tail is hurt in someway. It doesn't mind being touched and its tail tends to have a velvety softness to it and its body described as a bouncy ball of fluff. It will fly at the front of the flock to find a new home if their home is destroyed or taken over, usually trying to not go too far though is willing to bring its flock far distances to find a new safe place to call home. It will also accept any abandoned babies as one of the members of its flock as if that baby was born within the flock.

Lore:

Pidgey used to be known as a bird for the elderly though emos got a bit jealous due to how these pokemon look, however the emos tend to catch this pokemon and train it up for battle hence not usually bonding with wild versions by feeding them. They were even thought to be able to tell that someone had passed on until it was observed that they look for someone before realizing they're gone. At least showing that they at least have an understanding that those who feed them are usually elderly and are going to die soon. Despite this some believe that it is able to tell that one has passed away and just tends to be hopeful that the person is actually still around. Emos have tried to claim it as both the Emo Bird and The Bird Of Death though neither of them stuck. Most places with this pokemon happily welcome them into town and tend to keep tracks of nest areas in order to keep people away from being attacked by the flock. Emos have traveled to nests to try to urge them down to eat at night instead of during the day, which was abandoned when an emo got severely injured from a flock protecting the nest.

Pidgeotto was labeled as the violent evolution of the bunch due to it leaping into action if a member of the flock is possibly in danger. It is believed that its temper especially aimed at threats are instincts within itself as if from the moment it evolves it knows it is the protector of the flock. It will even show its claws as it flies freaking some people out in worrying that it is planning to attack. Its status as a violent bird pokemon has caused a phobia of this pokemon known as an Ottophobia since it is the only one of its evolutionary lines that apply to the phobia, people with this phobia are usually fine with the other evolutions of this pokemon. It is also to be believed the origin of a rumored large monster like bird that was powerful and quick to attack. This has never been able to be confirmed however sketches of the past showing what the monster looked like is said to look kind of like this pokemon. With people even pointing to how it has a temper that it is ready to unleash on others as needed as further proof of a link between the two.

Pidegeot was once believed to hold the wisdom of wise people who have passed on hence its intelligence. Though scientists later said that this pokemon has a brain that just works really well and that it is able to learn from its life and surroundings. An ancient childrens tale of this pokemon exists talking about one that spoke as though it were a human reincarnated and made its own flock from human followers, looked upon as a being to be praised due to the ability of being human like in knowledge being the reason so many praised it. This book was once used to teach children to not trust things too easily as it could be a trap, with the ending being that the pokemon killed its entire flock when it got tired of being their leader. This book was eventually retired and a new book was made in its place instead. This book has mostly been forgotten though does get brought up or even read here and there. Few copies of the book remain intact in circulation making it a valuable collectors item. This pokemon inspired poses for gods as the way it looks majestic in flight brought around great inspiration to those with a creative side. It is not a god however it is a default if a god is needed for an art piece and the artist has nothing else to draw as the god.

Design inspiration: Dark type birds, rusted steel for the shiny, people drawing diamonds under characters eyes, emo/gothic style, and grey parrots.

Kenga and Kangaskhan, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Kenga to Kangaskhan level up to level 28.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Kenga: Normal. Kangaskhan: Normal Rock.

Ability: Kenga: Normalize. Kangaskhan: Scrappy.

Description: These pokemon tend to travel in herds and are one of the few pokemon that are able to reproduce without a mate, as all of these pokemon are females, however once the baby is deemed big enough to handle itself it is taken from the pouch and allowed to be free. While humans tend to see it as too early as Kenga tends to look quite young the young Kenga can actually do pretty well for themselves, not as good as they would fully grown but they can survive just fine. Despite this when mother and child are together it is shown to be a parental bond with one another every mother dreams of. This pokemon is a symbol of motherhood with one even becoming famous as the model for motherhood magazines. Both evolution stages prefer to live in the forest areas where berries are more plentiful. Breeders will leave the child with the mother until the child is no longer under the protection of its mother. Good breeders don't dare step on the toes of a mother with this pokemon line.

Kenga finds its own space sometimes within the herd and some choose to leave to start their own journey in life making a new herd along the way. This pokemon will think of their trainer like a part of their herd if the trainer gains their trust. Even playing nicely with children and other pokemon for the sake of the trainer. It is fully capable of surviving on its own however that doesn't stop humans from trying to help or save them if they're not in a herd. In fact it is considered the most baby like of all baby poekmon making so many people try to treat it as such. Luckily it tends to seem mostly tolerant while showing some aggression and signs if it doesn't like something, only for it to tend to be passed off as it being adorable. It enjoys warm cozy spots to relax reminding itself of being in its mothers pouch. If able to visit its mother it will chirp in affection and get some affection back while still being treated like a real adult. It never seems to mind its mother distancing herself while still returning some of its baby's affection. In the wild it will leave its mother alone more when a new baby is produced by the mother. It hatches from an egg within its mothers pouch and lives with parts of the egg still stuck on it until it evolves. The egg becoming hard like a bone instead of remaining fragile.

Kangaskhan is the most popular to feature on motherhood magazines as it takes care of its baby in ways most would think would spoil a child. It still prepares it's child for life apart while tending to the child's needs. This pokemon can even become depressed if it doesn't have something to care for. It can even pick up boulders to throw if it feels it needs to protect its baby. It has an apatite for berries and the inside of rocks using the rock on the tip of its tail to smash rocks open then smash it into a dust. It only gets an appetite for it when evolved and before it would just eat berries. It has sometimes been mistaken for a fairy type, so much so that some people made a conspiracy that they are all secretly fairy types based on their looks. This pokemon helps to look after children in the herd with a prefrence towards its own child. It will adopt its trainer as a new herd and are even known to be wonderful helpers in foster care. They tend to be used to take care of a child until that child is ready or until a family takes the child in. The foster care system has ones ready for these situations if needed. This is also the main spot where it is less likely it will reproduce since it has a purpose helping orphaned children. These pokemon are seen being really happy in such a job even if it is sad to have to let go of one it sees as its own child. This pokemon lives peacefully with others having a set home though not minding others around it as long as it feels no threat to its child. It will even let other pokemon sleep in its herds spot which is sometimes taken up by other poekmon who do seem to like it.

Lore:

Kenga was first to believed to be an abandoned baby pokemon and many hated its mother for leaving it behind. As it was studied it was found out that it is capable by itself as well as that the mother knows her child is ready for the world. Still there are those who are a bit more naive and still get mad calling this pokemon abandoned. It was thought that the remaining egg was just something unable to be escaped before it hardened, only later being found out that this pokemon does it on purpose as extra defense; protecting it until it is shed off when it evolves. This pokemon is mostly peaceful though will sometimes try to start fights slowly bringing its level up to evolve. It was thought that it was working its way up craving its own baby, at least until it is looked at closer finding that it does this knowing that it will be better off evolved while gaining life experience. It doesn't get the desire for a child of its own until evolved. It tends to be quiet though when it does make sounds it tends to sound like a human baby yet sounds like a higher pitch of its evolutions sounds, making any intimidation attempts fail on most humans.

Kangaskhan was once called the worst mother in existence for abandoning a small baby, until it was understood better. It has a reputation of being one anyone would not want to mess with the child in the mothers pouch. For years after its discovery and its care towards its infant this pokemon was seen as the role model of how to raise children. Which ended up with mixed results with some turning out fine and others being too spoiled to really make something of themselves even after leaving the nest at the appropriate age. Since then humans have refined their way of raising their young with still some inspiration taken from this pokemon. It is an easy pokemon to study as long as scientists mainly don't stick their noses into trouble with the protective mama pokemon.

Seel and Dewgong, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Seel to Dewgong level up to level 34.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Psychic ice.

Ability: Seel: Forewarn. Dewgong: Psychic surge.

Description: These pokemon are nicknamed the mermaids of the sea. They prefer the colder seas away from towns or cities, even being spotted in areas with snow usually in water not fully frozen or under the ice. Though is able to slide along ice and snow as if its no problem without getting cold. It inspired the mermaid image as those who first saw them thinking that they were some kind of mythical creature... Until more was found and studied revealing it to be just a pokemon. One gym leader who preforms swimming shows when not tending to the gym raised one up and this one has become a star in swimming performances, which include swimming routines and even plays using swimming to help tell the story.

Seel is usually seen as playful and kind of cute, judging strangers danger levels from a distance before approaching. It will show someone it likes how it plays and will even have so much energy even kids get tired from it. It has a tendency to want to play like an excitable puppy. It usually is on the ground or swimming around unable to use its psychic powers to levitate in anyway. Its pearl on its tongue is made over time from its saliva and it sheds this peal to make a new one once a year. Its pearls are used in jewelry that though are pricy tend to be a bit more sturdy than some other beads used. It doesn't have any laws surrounding its pearl though most decent humans will wait for it to shed the pearl before collecting it. Those who try to take it before it sheds the pearl have found it a bit harder than thought as its tongue is rather sticky. If it has too much debris on its tongue it will pop its tongue inside, swirl its spit to clean it then swallow the debris. It pretty easily expels it out only about half an hour late. Some think it has a stomach of steal as it can do this with basally anything stuck to its tongue.

Dewgong is seen as the majestic mermaid of the sea more so than its previous evolution. It is able to use its psychic powers to be able to float around, its horn always swirling with magic as if ready at a moments notice. It has popularity from its trainer who is a gym leader though also partakes in swimming performances. Some people challenge this gym leader to battle just for a chance to get up close with the gym leader or Dewgong, with it usually being fans who do this sort of thing. It is able to sing a song that is quite beautiful that it can bring people to tears touching their hearts at its beauty. It doesn't always sing instead using a short cry, with some who researched it saying that they thought it was so no one would get hurt from being tranced into the song it can sing. It has kickstarted a few budding artists who when younger drew it from its famed performances that it was raised in doing; starting from a simple Seel.

Lore:

Seel is seen as a very gentle pokemon. It can tolerate a lot though does know when things have gone too far. Its pearl when first noticed was believed that it was a way to lure wayward sailors out to sea, despite this being proven false years down the line as Seel prefers a seaweed diet. It also got another legend about its peal with some even causing massive fights just to own one of them, where the legend goes that a Seel's pearl is not only quite valuable but it can also suck away the negativity from ones self. This happened to the point where people made fakes ones to either keep with appearances or to keep up with demand. It still has a few surviving tales of it luring sailors to their doom.

Dewgong is seen as one of the more majestic poekmon of the region. It is believed that the magic around its horn never goes away so it can be ready at a moments notice. It has even slept with it still going. It has an ability to jump three stories in height out of the water. On a foggy night it jumped out soaring into the air catching the eye of a ship then crashing down. It noticed the ship and laid on a rock starting as the ship drew closer. It raised its tail spreading it out to look more intimidating to the unknown threat. It caused a lot of panic on board and many insist that it is where they first got their mermaid part about themselves in the human eyes. It tends to be kind though will flee if one gets too close and it is not comfortable with it. It gained an appeal in little girl things like clothes and toys and even bags. It is said that this is because the mermaid part is said to have been way scarier before then died down to be able to be marketed towards children, usually looking all cute and majestic.

Design inspiration: Unicorn horns glowing to use magic, spirals, animals wanted for a specific part of them like tusks, and fairy type pokemon.

Goldeen and Seaking, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Goldeen to Seaking level up to level 33.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Water Poison.

Ability: Goldeen: Water veil. Seaking: Drizzle.

Description: These pokemon enjoy swimming in small lakes with the main lake they love being located in a small town that is known as a joke to the rest of the region. They are usually simple minded creatures living day by day as if having forgotten the day before. However they do pose a risk to swimmers as these pokemon will only dive down to half way below the surface, usually preferring to swim just a bit under the surface, so anyone who gets pricked by the horn of one of these pokemon has to go for poison treatment at once. Its horn is its main defense line against predators that may want it for dinner. These pokemon don't seem to make a place to call home preferring to swim around all day and float to sleep in the water when tired.

Goldeen is usually viewed as the smarter of these two pokemon and can also be rarely found in a small lake in a route past the joke town. This pokemon is able to hide better from predators that if it sees one coming it will duck down flashing its tail and float like a flower in the water, momentarily confusing the predator in the hopes that it will leave. It is loved by some who like beauty simply for the design on its tail, though most of the time it will be on display in a tank being well taken care of and used for display purposes only. At least some take it to an extreme to give it special diets and pampering in order to try to make the tail pattern look the best. It is not a part of an official competition though some have fun trying to get their Goldeen to be the prettier one usually against friends. It doesn't see much battle due to most who own one keeping it in display tanks, save for some people within the joke town where its evolution can be found.

Seaking is the main one out of the two to be associated with the joke town of the region. Despite this pokemon, fully evolved, being only found in the lake in that town it is still regarded as a joke. It is the small town of Seaking town's mascot which is a very tiny town. It sadly helped the town be seen as a joke for having a dumb fish as a mascot that no gyms have been set up there as gym leaders refuse to do so. It is known to be not very intelligent though is usually easier to make obey a trainers command and be able to build a friendship with. Due to its pretty simple mind that can hardly focus on much and can't think as complex as other pokemon can. It at least is beloved by a few tank holders that like weird looking fish to display, thinking of it as a conversation starter. It did see some battle when a trainer from Seaking town tried to battle the gyms only to end that journey halfway through... Having lost to the fifth gym leader over and over again until giving up. It was not really picked up by other people as a pokemon that can be used well for pokemon battles. So it just spends its existence floating mindlessly in a tank or floating mindlessly in a single river at Seaking town. It has toxin on its horn as usually its small mind doesn't register a predator until its too late, which if the predator runs off for whatever reason Seaking will be confused before just continuing to just enjoy the water again.

Lore:

Goldeen at first brought people to Seaking town growing it with those wanting to get their hands on one in order to produce more for lots of money. However after the mascot was revealed people began taking less interest in the town and even breeders left the town leaving a small town left with plenty of vacant homes still standing. It is said that its tail can mesmerize those who stare at it too long, making whoever stares at it fall in love with it, and that is how people had gotten so worked up over it in the first place. It even got a legend that if one stares at the tail pattern long enough that they will drown themselves to admire it closer... Though most take it more as a joke than a reality kind of legend as only one known case of it happening is of a fashion designer who wanted inspiration then got a bit too into it. It has gone on to inspire a few clothes though not as much as other pokemon.

Seaking wasn't viewed too badly other than for being pretty dumb. It being the main pokemon found in the town said town was named after it which people could forgive, the reveal of a mascot statue of this pokemon sealed the towns fate as a joke with people even saying that they go too far for a dumb fish. It tends to not understand the hate towards it being the mascot as whenever it is told it tends to forget it pretty quickly. It does have a slight hand in some arts as some artists base stoners faces in paintings or drawings on this pokemons face, though most who do just try to make it different enough that no one will notice especially to not be identified as such. It is believed by some that the reason that it is so dumb is because its poison from its horn leaks down into its brain, with it actually being immune to its own poison so it only makes the brain dumb instead of making this pokemon sick. It is at least still beloved by the residents that decided to stay in Seaking town, with rumors of some saying that it is the only ones who can love such a pokemon causing anyone else who likes it to stay quiet.

Design inspiration: Lotus flower, fish that have this mind blank expression on their faces, fish that are patterned like with spots or stripes, and unicorn horns.

How to evolve: No Evolution.

No shiny version as it is shiny locked.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Dragon Dark.

Pokemon species name: The serpent dragon.

Ability: Magic guard.

Description: This Pokémon is only known by a few select people in the entire region. It has strong magical abilities that it can use outside of battles. It was once known to the public however overtime its existence was covered up to most people. It became only a vague memory at best to some. It is an ancient Pokémon that a long time ago put certain Pokémon to sleep; Only to be awoken when this Pokémon uses its magic to allow this to happen. The reason for it putting these Pokémon to sleep is mostly agreed to be to allow it to show it's better than them, though some insist it is aware it will one day be defeated and stored those Pokémon away as a last resort defence. It is able to turn invisible by darting through a cloud in the sky, however this is only a temporary thing as it cannot be invisible for more than two minutes. It can use its long tail to wrap its victims up, and will usually use its tail to wrap up a victim before kidnapping them though this rarely happens.

Lore: This Pokémon is said to have slept for one thousand years until it was awakened by a persons Pokémon magic. It is believed to be a vengeful Pokémon believed that it will destroy the world if not stopped. Its power was greatly feared by the masses, and still is to those who know of its existence. It is said in ancient legends that if this Pokémon were to awaken from its slumber then a hero will rise to stop its rampage; and this hero will be able to get it to break the spell of eternal night making night and day cycles again. That person will be declared the highest standing hero of the region. Though this hero must beware as it is said that this Pokémon will be able to sense if someone is the hero, and it may use its magic to do what it deems needed to stop its defeat. In some ancient tales it's said that it can roar in a way that it can be heard across the land, and thus was deemed to be an omen that the end of the world is to come.

How to evolve: Meowth to Persian level up to level 28.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Normal.

Ability: Meowth: Pickup. Persian: Scrappy.

Description: These pokemon are usually used by those that are not really fans of dog like pokemon preferring cat like pokemon instead. It is used in battle while also being like lap cats for some. These pokemon have varying lives with some spoiled rotten and others treated like any other pokemon. It has been known as one of the pokemon that will sit on something its trainer is working on or knock things off of tables or counters if it is not being given attention when it wants it. In the wild these pokemon can eat berries or types of meat that people would usually eat, with some depending on its location hunting pokemon to devour if needed leaving no trace of the hunted pokemon behind. Its stomach can digest every part of its prey with it preferring small critter like pokemon to hunt refusing to go after anything as big or bigger than itself. Despite this it can go up to two days without food if food levels are scarce, it will show the affects of starvation on the third day and if it does not eat before the end of the fourth day it will succumb to its starvation.

Meowth is the only pokemon who can learn the attack Pay day which it learns at level thirty five. It can even keep this move when it evolves. So some trainers use one if they need money though this pokemon can get an attitude and may not obey if it deems the trainer not worthy of it which usually happens with a less experienced trainer, however lower leveled versions of this pokemon are more willing to obey lower skilled trainers so some gain its trust then work to leveling it up to use it to gain more money from battles. It's attack is usually not the recommended way of becoming richer since one would have to be able to win the battle against the trainer, and there is no guarantee how high the amount received from a win will be since trainers may not be as rich as one might hope. Plus if one becomes known for using this tactic then trainers may refuse to battle the trainer after hearing that they overuse the tactic. It is not always used this way and is also used as a pretty lap cat of some trainers with those usually being the ones that become spoiled. In the wild this pokemon will be attracted to shiny things and if its home in the wild is found it tends to be decorated with shiny things. The coin in its hand is never given to anyone, not even a trusted trainer or even a mate, and it will even hide it in its chest fur when it isn't holding it. The only way to get one is to get it from a dead one, which tends to be only done if this pokemon is found dead or dies of natural causes since killing this pokemon is looked down upon. Because of this the coin is deemed a very expensive gift that is used as a gift of luck in the recipient getting money, though is only said to work if it is received as a gift and its luck cannot activate if just purchased from someone. Due to this belief it has become a major symbol of luck in the region and artist depictions tend to convey luck.

Persian is usually used in battles for its good speed stat. It does still count in the same part of its previous evolution of if its trainer uses it in battle to only gain more money using a special move. Some people just use this pokemon as a pet and it is loyal even preferring to only sleep in the same room as its trainer. It enjoys shiny things and thus trainers who spoil their pokemon tend to gift it sparkly things like jeweled collars or jeweled pokeballs with some even just giving jeweled bracelets depending on the trainers wealth. It will even sit or lay beside its trainer during meetings or when the trainer is at their desk or work station. This pokemon is used by the Professor of the region as a companion and tends to be the first to greet visitors to the professors home. It will drive away and attack those that it senses inner evil in. It even accompanies and protects the professor on research trips. Some people have called it the professors assistant as the professor never has taken on any human assistants, and it is the only pokemon the professor owns having been with him since he was younger and it was a Meowth. It is not as well known as some other pokemon with the most well known one being the one owned by the Professor.

Lore:

Meowth is seen as the luck pokemon started after its attack Pay day was discovered. Thus this belief was branched to the coin that it carries making it a very exclusive and expensive item. That is all that it really is known for in lore that doesn't have to do with how trainers use it in battle. In fact the belief of it being a symbol of luck is so strongly integrated among the people of the region that any artistic depiction of it representing anything that isn't luck is rejected. One artist who tried this had their career and life ruined by attempting to show an art piece that depicted one as a symbol for something else, the details of what it was ended up lost after the rejection of it, thus becoming such a disliked outcast that the artist ran off to spend his days in isolation. The art piece was destroyed and wiped from ever being seen anywhere even online. No other artist has dared to try the same thing ever again. It's love for shiny things decorating its nests is seen as proof of its depictions of luck.

Persian when first discovered was seen as a more pet like pokemon, especially for those who did not like dog like pokemon. It even got some rich owners which started the trend of gifting this pokemon jeweled things from collars to jeweled necklaces or bracelets. It is most well known for being the professors pokemon companion. The only other lore about it just depicts it as one of the companion kind of pokemon. Though some trainers have tried to get it known for its decent speed stat in battle.

Design inspiration: Cats, Cats with colored paws, Cat behaviors, Giovanni's persian, and Chinese lucky cat statues.

Ponyta and Rapidash, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Ponyta to Rapidash level up to level 40.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Fire dark.

Ability: Ponyta: Blaze. Rapidash: Flame body.

Description: These pokemon when bonded with remain loyal and will even come over to greet their trainer if they hear said trainer in the area. Some have suggested farmers use them though farmers refuse with worry that these pokemon will set their land or crops on fire. If any are found on countryside it is a trainer with a home there that usually builds this pokemon its own home like a stable. It enjoys eating grass which promotes healthy growing since it especially enjoys to eat the dead or dying grass. So some trainers will let these pokemon graze along their front lawns to make it more green and vibrant. Despite farmers superstitions that these pokemon will set their land on fire there has been no reports that this pokemon has set anything on fire by just walking or running around. It's flame also helps its riders see in the dark as it tends to illuminate the area like a normal fire would. If it dislikes or hates someone then if that person tries to pet it then this pokemon will move its head so that person will burn their hand. It has only been recorded if someone it dislikes tries to touch it.

Ponyta is popular among countryside young girls and it is said that if the trainer is the girl's father then the ponyta will care for the girl as deeply as it does its trainer. There was even a case when one realized its trainers daughter was missing so it escaped its stable to search for her while the parents kept looking. It did find the little girl and lowered itself allowing the scared girl to climb on before returning to its trainer. It was awarded a medal as a hero and was put in a book about Pokemon heroes. When its trainer passed away it lived with his daughter until it passed away of old age. This pokemon is sometimes brought to child events as it is very forgiving to children compared to adults. There has never been a recorded case of one disliking and burning a child on purpose. At these events this pokemon will usually be allowed to be petted, sometimes ridden by children, and used when talking about caring for pokemon. While it is a part of these there are also other pokemon that are used for these showings to children on care for pokemon. Truly depending on what trainer is doing the presentation. In the wild if the herd leader is gone outside of banishment from a rival beating it then the strongest Ponyta will work itself up till it evolves to take the leaders place. It is believed that there is a secret though not easily seen extra hierarchy with wild herds able to tell each others levels thus the highest level is seen as the strongest.

Rapidash is often called the pokemon unicorn as it is the inspiration for the creature in fantasy depictions. Though not all of its influence has been positive as it originally inspired more demonic representations scaring people. It is pretty friendly though is usually said to be too big to use in programs for children. If it feels threatened it will use its horn to defend itself with before using any of its attacks against the threat. In wild herds it is usually the leader of herds of Ponyta with it challenging any Ponyta that evolve. These fights are headbutts to use their horns until one is knocked down or backs down. The one that wins is the leader of the herd and loser is banished from the herd. If the leader is no longer with the herd for any reason outside of being banished from a rival fight, an example is being captured by a trainer, then the strongest Ponyta in the herd will work its way to evolve to take the leadership place. It is a very fast pokemon when running on land and one mail company uses this pokemon to carry the delivery people to deliver mail quickly, this company tends to have a rival with the only other mail company in the region who does on foot mail delivery; some people like the speedy delivery while others prefer the foot delivery with worry that the mail will get lost by flying out the bag at top speeds. This pokemon has also been used in a few races against other fast pokemon with some actually winning big championships. Some dislike the pokemon races claiming that pokemon are not as well taken care of as they should be in order to focus more on winning a race.

Lore:

Ponyta was first discovered by a backpacker who got lost in a forest only to follow a light out of the forest where a Ponyta turned to him. It was caught and brought back to a city shown off by the man fascinating others until the man and the Ponyta were taken by scientists curious about this pokemon. With some scientists worried it may be a demonic pokemon. It saw its trainer hurt so it used its fire powers to help it and its trianer escape. The two never seen again. After that people began finding some herds after exploring though not before rumors and stories of it being a demonic pokemon went around. Many people calmed down after more was learned about the pokemon with most stories of it being demonic only now existing in memories told by the elderly. Due to its founding story some even used it as a pokemon to ride in search and rescue missions in the dark. Also due to how the Ponyta freed itself and its founding trainer farmers began to believe that it would burn down their farm, hence all refuse to use it. A belief that didn't die out with time to the dismay of some who are the trainers of this pokemon.

Rapidash when it had its first reported sightings was by travelers who would spot them in the night usually in the middle of nowhere. These people spun this pokemon into stories of being a demonic unicorn that is the one that carries riders that are of darkness from demonic places. Scaring a lot of people for a rather long time. Until the herds were discovered and more was learned about it. Though some stories about it being the demonic pokemon that has riders that are of demonic nature can still be found in modern day. Luckily as time went on people began making stories and art of it being a magical unicorn which appeals to girls and sometimes women as well. It has become seen in a better light over the years despite its scary first appearances.

Mimikyu, top normal bottom shiny. Eevee version regular version and Cubone version is the artist exlusive version only unlocked by seeking out then defeating a random NPC artist not even related to the main story who will fight with a Cubone disguised Mimikyu; The artist is the only one who can make a Cubone disguise for Mimikyu with it not being found anywhere else in the whole region.

How to evolve: No evolution.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Ghost Fairy.

Ability: Disguise.

Description: Mimikyu is a pokemon that is known as a trickster disguise pokemon due to it looking like an Eevee, unless a very special disguise is given by one NPC who only made it because his Mimikyu's disguise was damaged beyond repair saving him from a wild pokemon that attacked, so it used to make people think Eevees could be found in the wild. Until it was confirmed that all the Eevees were just Mimikyus. It hides in this disguise which it can only create itself once in its life and is actually hard to damage or destroy. It is born with greater power than it does for the rest of its life, thus once it is hatching time it will use that excess power to make its disguise before emerging from the egg. No one has seen what it looks like under the disguise as it will hold its disguise down if anyone tries to lift it to sneak a peek. If it is given the artist exclusive design then it will run away to hide to change then return to its trainer with its Eevee disguise nowhere to be seen. Not much is known about this since the Cubone Mimikyu is only used by the artist that made the disguise, with the main character being the only other one who uses one if stepping away from the main story to obtain the disguise. The Cubone disguise does nothing but change its appearance as it remains the same pokemon as before just with a new look.

Lore:

When it was first discovered it made people believe that there must be wild Eevees out there, only to disappoint them when no real wild Eevee's were found. There is a legend that the first Mimikyu that used the Eevee disguise did so when it arrived to this region from elsewhere become a boat stowaway after losing its disguise from where it came from, then found that Eevee was pretty popular thus using the disguise to gain attention to itself which worked. Since then it somehow passed on any other Mimikyu that were born after its arrival into the Lunar region. It is the only pokemon except for Eevee and the Eeveelutions that doesn't really change much compared to outside of the Lunar region. It just has a different disguise than any outside of the region.

Design inspiration: Eevee, Cubone, Mimikyu looking like Pikachu which tends to be one of the most recognizable pokemon out there and the pokemon mascot, and me having trouble deciding which version to go with due to liking both designs so one became a special version and the other is the normal version.

Cyndaquil, Quilava, and Typhlosion, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Cyndaquil to Quilava level up to level 17. Quilava to Typhlosion level up to level 36.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Normal.

Ability: Cyndaquil: Normalize. Quilava: Adaptability. Typhlosion: Scrappy.

Description: These pokemon are very rare in the region and only very few of them exist to the point that it is seen as one of the luxury pokemon. The only two that breed them will only give the offspring to those who can prove that they are of high status or of high wealth. Its pearl cannot be detached without killing it though luckily its pearl doesn't hold any value if it is removed from any of these pokemon. Its pearl, or pearls for Typhlosion, are more like glass beads than actual pearls; which is only called a pearl due to its shape. Every evolution stage uses these pearls as places to store power for attacks that it has learned how to use. It is unheard of to abandon one of these pokemon, however the main character will find an abandoned Cyndaquil and will be given the choice of leaving it or taking it. Without any impact to the story whether or not it is decided to take the abandoned pokemon or not.

Cyndaquil carries its pearl on its back since hatching from the egg. It tends to be a friendly pokemon that those who own one will let it run around their office or room while they work. They will only eat clean berries that cannot have even a speck of dirt on them, however will eat any kind of berry as long as it is really clean. It will even find places with clean water to wash its berries in if it is not done for them. There have been those that have starved to death before finding a clean body of water to clean their berries in. Which usually isn't a big deal since they have become no longer seen in the wild after they were captured to be one of the signs of high rank or wealth. This pokemon is only used in light battles and is more of a pet for its trainer than a pokemon to use in serious battles. Not much else really tends to be said about this pokemon just because it is usually used as just basically a luxury pet for the higher class.

Quilava is very similar to Cyndaquil though will be used a little more seriously in battles. It is a pretty fast pokemon despite its pearl stuck to it. It's gem on its forehead is used to make hits from attacks like tackle hurt even more. Only known because of its use when a battle is only serious enough to not use ones full force. It is a common lap pokemon for higher up during meetings and some will pay someone to evolve the previous evolution stage in order to have one sleeping in their lap during a meeting. It eats berries like its previous evolution and carries the same need to have the berries be very clean before it will eat them. A few offices have said that their boss will send their Quilava zooming through the office to deliver something like a written message if the higher up doesn't want to come out, and if for some reason cannot contact the employee any other way. Those in high ranks at the offices mentioned tend to respond that this is only if something is urgent enough that it has to be known right away. That this pokemons speed is the perfect way to get to the employee fast enough.

Typhlosion is taken very seriously and if it is beside the desk of its trainer, whether the pokemon is awake or sleeping, then it tends to cause fear in anyone who enters the office especially if they are called there. It is used in battles if the higher up decides that the battle is so serious full force is needed. It has also been associated with being sent to chase and bite those below the higher up only if the trainer decides it is called for. Its bites are harmless and will only make one bleed then heal like any other cut. However despite this any reports to the authorities about any chasing or biting orders given to this pokemon tend to get swept under the rug. Luckily for employees almost everyone who owns one will only do this as a last resort. If someone uses that order as anything but a last resort then they become shamed by those in the higher class. Some of these pokemon have even been seized back by breeders if the one who doesn't follow this rule falls from their position of power, with the authorities looking the other way believing it to be justice for the overuse of the attack people order. It will eat any berry however unlike its previous evolution it will only eat ripe berries. It isn't as picky about how clean the berry is as long as its not too dirty to eat. It prefers the berries that are in the prime ripeness, nothing below or above that. so some don't evolve their pokemon to this stage if they feel like feeding it will be too much of a hassle.

Lore:

Cyndaquil when first discovered was thought to be a pokemon that represented gemstones of great value. Its image was used heavily at shops that sold valuable gemstones in honor of this. Which is still used to this day by modern valuable gemstone dealers. It even got a small shrine where those wanting to find valuable gemstones pray to this pokemon to give them a boost in luck of finding the gemstones. It is not confirmed though it is believed that this belief helped it grow into being seen as a luxury pokemon. It was captured until none spawned in the wild anymore, an attempt to keep this pokemon out of the hands of those that are deemed worthy of owning one. The only way someone not of high status or of wealth can get one is either by a gift or in the main characters case finding one that is abandoned; with the exception of those that were once high status but fell from their status with almost all who do gifting this pokemon to a friend or previous friend who is still of high status or wealthy. Any other attempts to get one if not of high status or wealth will fail as even bribes to the limited breeders have been rejected.

Quilava when it was discovered was at first thought to be representing a gemstone thief unlike its previous evolution which was seen as on the good side. It was given an even smaller shrine next to its previous evolution, where those with bad luck in finding gemstones can try to plead for forgiveness from the gemstone thief who has stolen ones luck in finding gemstones. If the plea for forgiveness is accepted then it will allow the person to have some luck in finding gemstones again. If it is not accepted then nothing will happen and the person will never find those valuable gemstones again. The only way believed to know if the plea worked is to try again to look for valuable gemstones. It is not found in the wild.

Typhlosion is the only evolution stage that did not get its own shrine. In the past it was seen as a demonic entity that if one would be seen when gemstone hunting then that person would believed to be cursed. That the person who saw one will only find worthless gemstones and never be lucky enough to find anything of value, usually plunging them into debt, causing most people to quit any sort of business relating to working with gemstones if they see this pokemon; basically quitting while ahead. However over the years with the pokemon no longer seen in the wild this knowledge is only told as past legends. However there has been one case where someone used this pokemon that they owned to visit an elderly gemstone dealer to scare them into quitting, which worked as the elderly man still believed that this meant he would be cursed to never make any profit again, which was found out to be used to gain the mans business. Which was luckily given to a successor the elderly man chose as high level authorities refused to give the scheming business man any chance of profiting from this trick.

Design inspiration: Amethyst gemstones, pearl shaped stones, the idea of luxury pets, Espeons forehead gem, the abandoned Charmander episode from the TV series, and Mr. Burns in the Simpsons using his hounds against those beneath him.

Sentret and Furret, top normal bottom shiny.

How to evolve: Sentret to Furret level up to level 15.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Fairy Normal.

Ability: Sentret: Scrappy. Furret: Pixilate.

Description: These pokemon are very friendly and are one of the pokemon used when those in the region make clothing or other items to appear cute. Its friendly nature allows it to be very approachable even in the wild as it seems to sense that it is not being meant harm. It's adorable charm helps in keeping it safe from being harmed by humans. It tends to like to live in areas where flowers, that feed off of moonlight, grow as it will roll around in the flowers happily. Despite its friendly appearance it is able to sense if there is real danger, though it will first try to be friendly towards danger before choosing to run if friendly does not work. They'll even allow others of its kind near it without any hostility. It only attacks if it has no other choice or if it is being lead by a trainer who orders it to attack. When owned by a trainer it is not bothered with following its trainers order to attack, though if it is forced to attack not under the command of its trainer then both stages of evolution do run the risk of being saddened for a week or so afterwards because of it. So there are some who do everything that they can to protect areas where wild ones are in order to not risk one having to attack then become basically depressed for a bit.

Sentret is able to hop around on its tail and also be able to walk around on its stumpy looking legs, though it prefers to move around on its tail as it can see just that little bit further that it can watch for danger. It's ears remain perked up and there has been no instances of its ears flopping down, even those that try to push them down can't get them to go down despite the ears being soft like the rest of its body, which was looked into and it is because its ears were built to be able to be alert of its surroundings to know if something is approaching. Its ears are so sensitive that it can sense someone at the outskirts of a field of flowers from the other side which can reach up to a lakes length in the place they mostly show up. It only approaches if someone gets too close. It is known as plush and soft short furred with some trainers even mixing them up for a plushie causing some to think to their Sentret is missing. It's friendliness and cuteness tends to only make it belong to trainers who really love cute things with some preferring to keep it in its preevolution form, and others eager for their Sentret to evolve to turn extra cute. It only eats the flowers leaving the stem and leaves intact. Its large arms are a simple way to trick an enemy to think that it isn't an easy target.

Furret is rated as one of the cutest pokemon in the Lunar region. It is featured in more cute merchandise than its preevolution form. It is a lot more outgoing than its previous stage as it is known to run up to visitors of where it is currently located. It will sit and wave its arms with a smile at the visitor to determine if it needs to run or not. If the visitor does not show that this pokemon has to run then it will demand attention, for humans it weaves itself around their legs until the human pets it. It will even roll around allowing humans to pet every inch of its body. Its fur is long though soft and its fur hardly ever tangles. Its fur stops growing once long enough to cover a human hand that lays flat on its actual body. Its fur will grow back if cut or damaged. This regrowing process takes thirty whole days to complete, thirty one if one counts the first day that its fur is at the length that it stops growing. In fact its fur is one of the ways to make some wigs or even hair extensions for humans. Its friendly nature has kept it from being mistreated even by those who are money hungry. Plus the availability of other kinds of wigs can make competition for the market tough. Some people will seek out wigs made from this pokemons fur because even when not attached to its body its fur will still not tangle, making it ideal for those who don't want to waste time brushing their wigs. It will curl itself into a ball to sleep looking like just a furry ball and not a pokemon if it is asleep. It is known more for being cute than for really anything else. It enjoys eating the petals off of flowers and it will pick its meals carefully so as to not wipe out all flowers. This is because it especially has a love of rolling and running in the flower fields, so eating all the flowers would ruin what it loves to do.

Lore:

Sentret when it was first discovered was believed to be a fighting pokemon. So some trainers who were big into fighting pokemon caught one to train it. Only to be confused when it wasn't learning the fighting type moves that they wanted. Luckily by the time that it becomes seen as not the fighting pokemon a trainer was hoping for its already found a place in the trainers heart, so the pokemon was usually switched to just being a comfort pokemon for its trainer instead as the trainer couldn't bear abandoning it. A man retired from his position at his family dojo leaving it to his son then looked into this pokemon deeper than others bothered to do. Doing so because he didn't have much else to do. He published his findings which finally revealed that it wasn't fighting type at all. So those big into fighting type pokemon stopped going after this pokemon for that reason. Though it was still a recommended pokemon for an at home comfort pokemon by those in the fighting type pokemon community, thus this pokemon can be owned by a fighting type trainer though will usually not be used in any battles and just be pampered at home. The idea expanded into those who loved cute pokemon and the cute pokemon trainers really took notice of this pokemon and its evolution.

Furret when it was discovered confused everyone at first though quickly won peoples hearts that any confusion was forgotten about. It was seen as more of a house pokemon and hardly ever saw a battle unless a trainer was using it against a hostile intruder. It was at first mostly kept by those who ended up evolving the previous evolution stage when it was believed to be fighting type. It was thought that this pokemon lost its fighting type so it was usually left at home by its trainer if it evolved. It tends to be pampered and cherished deeply by its trainer since like its previous evolution it helped fighting trainers by comforting and relaxing them. The cute pokemon trainers actually work together to help protect places this pokemon lives from a love for this pokemon and its previous evolution. Its popularity especially exploded with cute themed merchandise.

Design inspiration: Tanuki, cute ways some animals wrap their tails around their feet, ferrets, and just cuteness in general.

Zangoose, Purple normal Red shiny.

How to evolve: No evolution.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Dark Poison.

Ability: Inner Focus.

Description: Zangoose is known as being very territorial though will usually stay within its borders. It doesn't have a large territory and can get a bit lazy as it likes to take naps or relax. However trainers who have wrongfully approached one that is resting thinking it'll be an easier fight learned that even a resting one is ready to battle. These pokemon are usually seen as aggressive because of this so most try to give this pokemon space if one is spotted. There has even been signs put up if one of these pokemon have territory in the area. Its claws are more deadly than its teeth, its teeth may be sharp though they are too small to truly do damage being mostly for eating rather than attacking. Thus during battle it heavily relies on its claws in order to attack, and is so good at using them that even one that is resting can attack in a few seconds causing plenty of injuries to naive humans and pokemon. It's poison is usually hidden though will come out in certain attacks mainly from its claws. It has been noted that its poison will usually be saved for bigger threats if it is not being commanded by a trainer. The only exception to this is if it sees a Seviper as it has been known that it will use its strongest attacks against a Seviper in every situation, it has only been stopped from chasing after a Seviper if it has a really strong bond with its trainer however any that run after a Seviper do return to their trainer later. It is unknown why it is such a bully to Seviper though some think that it is just because its aggressive nature, and that it must deem Seviper to look like a huge threat when really Seviper isn't actually a threat to it. It doesn't care where it sleeps as it'll even manage to make itself comfy on uneven rocks, so those that own one are okay with letting it sleep on the floor as it makes itself very comfy wherever. Trainers will instead give this pokemon its favorite berry, a Leppa berry, as a special treat since this pokemon will make its home with its trainer its territory. It will travel with its trainer which is the only known time any will willingly leave an area it considers its territory. It is sadly known that partners do not stay together as males will mate a female then chase it out of the females territory. The female then having to make a new territory and raise the children it was given, though it doesn't seem too bothered by this as if it was waiting for it to happen, then when the children are old enough the female will chase them out of her territory. Luckily for females this only happens once since males can tell if a female has given birth once before by sniffing her territory markings, then turn away if she has given birth once before. It is still being investigated why this happens with the lead theory being that other males think that the female already belongs to another male, some thinking that if this is true then there is something wrong with these pokemon that should know that those that mate do not stay together at all. It used to be believed to not have any poison until a guard tried to get one before a job at the royal castle only to die before helped arrived. The pokemon was not blamed for the attack since the guard had come with only weapons and no pokemon, thus being seen as the aggressor who got what he deserved and his name was only put as the idiot who helped everyone learn Zangoose have poison.

Lore:

Zangoose used to be believed to be protecting something very important in their territory, hence why they are so aggressive, and people used to try to enter a territory to discover its treasure... Though none was ever found... And it took five years before it was declared that there was nothing special to be found in a Zangoose territory which took another year for everyone to believe. Before its discovery it was thought that sightings of it or attacks by it where hallucinations of lost travelers in the dark. Any torn clothing or claw marks were brushed off as either another pokemon or as trees or bushes getting caught onto clothing or skin. That is until one was caught and displayed by a trainer who became a royal guard for their brave discovery; considering that the travelers stories made it out to be a very dangerous pokemon since back then its territory protection was not known. That trainers lineage has since been trained by their family with an expectation to one day join the royal guard in honor of their ancestor; The family is a high class family because of the wealth they have gotten from being royal guard members and for royalties of any story told of their ancestor. Yet they are still insistent that every member has to join the royal guard and work hard to keep their ancestor proud of them. After its discovery it used to be used in stories about monsters in the woods which died down after more was learned about the pokemon. Only one book from that era remains and lives in the royal museum next to a statue of the founding trainer with a statue of his Zangoose at his side. The pokemon wasn't really thought about much after that until research realized how much it went after Seviper thus an ongoing investigation into the whole thing began.

Design inspiration: Regular Zangoose, how its patten across its face and chest look in my head when I picture this pokemon, Kitsune depictions with two tails, and colors that make me think of poisonous living beings.

How to evolve: Mareep to Flaaffy level fifteen. Flaaffy to Ampharos level thirty..

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Steel.

Ability: Mareep: Heavy Metal. Flaaffy: Iron Barbs. Ampharos: Light Metal.

Description: These pokemon used to be mainly seen on farms with different roles depending on the evolution stage. However the first stage was the most popular with farmers for the money that can be made by their steel wool. These pokemon expanded into trainers using them to battle after a trainer who was born into a farmer family evolved his to use in battles, almost making it through all the gyms though couldn't make it through the final gym before giving up. These pokemon inspired a lot of people with their story of starting out as farm pokemon only to be seen in battles like other pokemon. Some have even made movies inspired by this though the movies tend to be about humans instead of the pokemon; usually depicting some humans as slaves despite that it is not historically accurate that any humans were ever slaves in this land. Despite this some movies have won awards for the stories told in the movies as if it is historical. These pokemon on the farms are always treated well by the humans who own the farm and no matter if they evolve farmers are known to still care for these pokemon. These pokemon were even featured in a magazine praising how well they tend to be taken care of, however managing to not become spoiled by the humans that care for them.

Mareep is often used in herds by farmers due to its wool always growing thus can be cut to sell. It's wool is mainly used to create steel dish scrubbers that are well known for getting hard to scrub off food parts. It does have an ability to shed its own wool if it gets too long, by rusting parts of it so it will fall off almost like it is shedding that part of its wool. Despite this if the wool is cut off before the pokemon rusts it then it doesn't rust until after many uses especially with water, to which it will fall apart. This pokemon is often seen in herds when owned by farmers. They were once featured in a magazine that praised how well they were taken care of, not to the point of being spoiled, as there has been no cases of farmers mistreating these pokemon in any way. In fact farmers would still care for one that evolves as much as they'd care for it previously. This pokemon is usually attributed to the start of its rise into the battle scene, despite that in stronger battles it is more often to see its evolutions. This started when a boy born to farmer parents grew a close bond with one of these pokemon, that boy then took it with him on his journey as his main fighting pokemon. It managed to fight with the boy and his team through the gyms, its winning streak only ending at the final gym that the boy couldn't beat before he gave up. It sparked other trainers into seeing the potential for this pokemon and its evolution line in battle scenes. Thus some farmers even began to start some breeding programs to help make dreams of trainers come true in using it on their team. Now even wild ones have been located in certain countryside areas for trainers to even track down to catch to use, so they don't just have to get one from someone else.

Flaaffy had a different role on farms. It tends to have a calming sense on herds of its previous evolution. So it would be able to hang out with the herds to remain relax especially when outside. Some farmers even had one nearby if one of its previous evolutions would get nervous about being trimmed. It likes to lounge and its steel wool doesn't grow as much as its previous evolution; though it can still rust parts of it off to shed if needed. Its wool however can do something that its previous evolution couldn't, it is able to make the steel wool sharp if it feels it needs to usually to a threat or in a battle. It's sharpened wool cannot be seen different to its softer normal wool by the naked eye, and thus unless a trainer knows this pokemon trusts them then they get hesitant touching the wool. Yet some how its previous evolution seems to be able to tell if this pokemon has sharpened its wool or not, often seeming spooked if one sharpens its wool which also tends to alert a farmer of potential danger nearby. It is a good fighter despite its tendency to like to be more relaxed and chill. Thus some trainers even use it in battle in order to surprise the other trainer if that trainer is unaware of the sharp wool. When its wool is trimmed it actually automatically changes to being sharp, thus is not ideal for metal dish scrubbers unless someone wants to cut their hands or slice up their gloves. Its sheds are brittle so if it is rusted off then it is safe to touch usually falling apart by simple touches. Farmers usually will have heavy duty gloves if they ever want to trim this pokemon to keep it from having to rust it off itself, some just let the pokemon rust it off itself so as to not have to worry about the sharp trimmings.

Ampharos on the farms would be the ones who would be sent out by farmers to check out potential danger to the herd. It is seen as more intimidating and powerful to warn off threats to the herd if one is spotted. Farmers are divided about its duties when the farmer is asleep. Half say that this pokemon should be left in the barn to patrol to keep the herd safe, while the other half says that the pokemon should sleep inside the farmers home to be ready to follow the farmer into potential danger if needed. The argument was never settled so each farmer just decide where this pokemon will be during the farmers sleep time. It is seen as a pokemon to be used in some stronger battles compared to its previous evolutions. It tends to have a fierce determination to win against an opponent, with it being believed that the opponent is a threat to its trainer in the eyes of this pokemon. Due to it being used to help warn off threats to the herd on farmland this pokemon will fiercely protect any that it sees as its herd including its trainers other pokemon. Some retired trainers even give this pokemon tasks to walk with their kids or grandkids if they are unable to accompany them. Since it is known that this pokemon won't let anything bad happen, however it is still preferred for an adult to be with a child when out and about. It is still seen walking with children for its trainer despite this, and some trainers if known well by the school are even invited on school trips to allow this pokemon to help protect the school children. It is mostly used in battles more than it is to protect children though.

Lore:

Mareep used to be seen as pokemon that just followed its herd in whatever was going on, this changed after the pokemon entered the battle scene as it became more respected by trainers thus wanted for battles. Some trainers at the start of it popping up in the battle scene thought that trainers only had one to get free unlimited dish scrubbers... Only to be proven wrong when the pokemon shows its battle capability. No one actually knows the true origin of the reason behind it having been started to be used by farmers, the true tale has been twisted and told with different details over the years with some families believing their own version over others. The main parts that remain the same was that it was a poor farmer who had trouble with pokemon eating his crops before meeting this pokemon. The story is different for how this pokemon was met by this poor farmer, some saying that it wandered onto the property through a broken fence then was caught eating the farmers crops before being taken pity on, others say that the poor farmer made up some traps with any materials he had then caught it in a trap to which its cuteness made him adopt it, and other versions of the story are out there.

Flaaffy when it first evolved, after some fought others in its herd mainly to show off to females, left the farmers who got one unsure what to do with it so it was left with the herd. Since its wool was discovered the hard way to be too sharp, and slow growing, to be able to use like its previous evolution. It was one day observed being watched by a spooked herd and the farmer found that it was looking at a wild pokemon. After the farmer praised it for saving his herd other farmers began to start using it to hang with herds to warn of danger. Its use on keeping the herd or individuals of the herd at ease tends to vary, some say that it started when one wandered into where a nervous member of the herd was getting trimmed which put that member more at ease, some say that it started when a farmer decided to let one stay in the trimming room to make sure no danger sneaks up then it being there helped a nervous member of the herd, and others like to say that a nervous member of the herd managed to flee to this pokemon then was a little more at ease for the trimming it escaped. The true story of how it came to be used to ease the herd by being nearby seems to have been lost to time.

Ampharos earned its place on farms very quickly and its story managed to remain the same over the years. One which was at its second stage evolution got brave in defending the herd from danger, only to evolve from its battles against threats to the herd to which it instantly found its place as the herd defender. After the boy gave up on his battling the gyms one of the gym leaders actually went to the boys family farm to get one of its base forms; to which the gym leader fully evolved it after even learning more about its final evolution job on a farm. This gym leader used this pokemon until the gym leaders passing and her pokemon was left to her grandchildren, thus a new gym leader took over the gym after that.

Design inspiration: Metal dish scrubbers, sheep in general especially when seen on farms, Helluva boss stripped horns for male imps (Please note that the Helluva Boss series contains adult themes and swearing), Hoopa rings, and bells on livestock like cows for the bell on Mareep.

Lunar forms of the second evolution stage of the starters in the region. However unlike other regions in this one the starters are offered by the main characters mom, who may or may not be more involved in someway in everything than one may think, then she gifts a pokedex claiming to have gotten it from a friend awhile ago but that the main character will probably have more use in it than she will.

The rival is the main character’s sister who gets the other starter with the mom keeping the last remaining starter.

The starters have hardly ever been seen as very few of it or even its evolutions are owned in this region, none that the main character will battle or find out has one.

How to evolve: All will evolve by being leveled up to level 36.

Region: A region of eternal night as scientists created plants that could grow in moonlight, though there is some places that try to create artificial lights for the plants that couldn’t grow in the moonlight. The moon still changing to different fullness percents with times there is no moon visible.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Meganium fire. Delphox water. Empoleon grass.

Ability: Meganium Flash Fire. Delphox Water Veil. Empoleon Leaf Guard.

Description: Meganium is a fire type pokemon that constantly has its fire blazing and if the blaze is low it usually an indication that something is wrong, such as being really sick. This pokemon like its previous evolution is able to walk across hot coals and in fact will even enjoy laying on hot coals for a bed if available. It is able to shoot powerful flames from it's mouth thus it learns Flamethrower when it evolves. It likes hot food the hotter the better and there has also been sightings of this pokemon lapping up lava from volcanos like a casual drink. It has not been sighted drinking any sort of water thus any trainers who own one only feed it very dry food. Some even live as far away from water as they can if they own this pokemon. It is loyal to its trainer if that trainer has become worthy in its eyes. It will pluck out fluff from around its neck to offer to its trainer if the trainer is cold, which does help warm someone quite nicely, however a Meganium only grows so much fluff and it can actually run out of it leaving it often cold and even become easier for it to become sick; Thus no one tries to harvest all of its fluff to keep the pokemon in good health. It makes sure to not burn one it likes with its flames, though if it truly dislikes you it will approach you and head butt you for affection purposefully burning you. If you see one coming towards you lowering its head to gently headbutt you then run because it is trying to burn you. It sometimes will knock things off of tables and other surfaces for attention if it really loves someone but isn't being given enough attention.

Delphox is a water type pokemon that is built for freezing water temperatures and can live in the deepest of waters. It has all the fluff in order to keep itself warm during ice cold swims without any issues. It will curl its tail around itself if cold however it is quite hard to make this pokemon cold. It’s ears are smaller than its previous evolution as they are still sensitive enough to hear across an entire lake. It has a transparent second eyelid that it can shift to cover its eyes to allow it to see underwater without issue. It swims using its front paws to paddle and it's back end moves up and down, its tail kept straight, to swim through the water at 400KM/H, the fastest on record is 480KM/H. It is known that for it and its other evolution stages anyone who owns one is very picky about anyone they breed one for to not make this pokemon just one to push to try to beat any sort of record. It stays close to its trainer if it feels a connection with that person, and will even ignore commands of a trainer it doesn't like, and it will even wrap its tail around it's preferred trainer to keep them warm liking to sleep next to them to do so at night. Its coral is pieces from it's previous evolution and is hardened now able to help it channel some water type moves, thus is not able to be eaten as it'd be like eating rocks. It can float for miles if it lets itself fluff out however it prefers to live at the bottom of a body of water, so some use this pokemon to grab things from freezing cold water depths. It can easily find plenty and even makes dens to sleep on the floor under the water. It will stand to face foes even if the danger will be too much for them to handle, refusing to back down if a threat is detected causing some to be beaten badly when protecting their trainer from a threat. Its stubbornness in refusing to back down has made some trainers who own it prefer a quieter life to not risk their beloved pokemon, those that do breed this pokemon like to live by lakes so the pokemon can make dens at the bottom of the lake.

Empoleon is a grass type pokemon who is known to make its own beds out of woven large leaves, the bigger the leaf the better, turning them basically into bird nests. It will try to bring a trainer it likes to sleep with it in its nest. Thus some trainers pretend to sleep in the nest so the pokemon will be able to rest, then leave when the pokemon is asleep. Though its nests tend to be said to be rather comfy so this isn't much of a problem. It will make a new nest if the one it made starts to wilt on this pokemon. It will fiercly defend other pokemon that it's beloved trainer owns. With one trainer who was breeding this pokemon had a dangerous wild pokemon attack the other pokemon which was a gift, a gift before the grandmother passed, so the breeder's Empoleon rushed in to defend the other pokemon and though it won the battle its injuries were too bad to heal so it died in the pokemon center; that breeder raised one of its offspring to continue the genes of the one that saved another beloved pokemon. It will wrap up a pokemon in tall grass if it is owned by its beloved trainer and is cold, however it will find special leaves from trees growing healing berries if the other pokemon is injured or even scrapes itself into an injury. It also does this for its trainer, though most know it as a defender of its trainers other pokemon more than for wrapping the other pokemon up. It does all of this as since it cares for its trainer so then anything else that the trainer owns or cares about is seen as important to this pokemon. It enjoys laying in simulated sunshine especially by a window that it can look outside of at any point without having to get up. It will lay flat on the ground on its back limps splayed out and tail drooped if it is hot, yet doesn't have a reason to leave. Though it will also just get up to move to a cooler spot if needed. It will play in sprinklers or allow itself to be sprayed with a hose if that is available. It needs plenty of water to help keep its leaves a bright green as the color will dull if the pokemon is dehydrated.

Lore: Meganium was discovered not too long after the stage it was in before it became its final form. It is still highly protected and very few owners of its base form will evolve it to any of the other two stages as it is more educational in its base form. It is treated as more of a threat in fights than its other forms, especially feared by those with grass pokemon or bug catchers for its flames that strike fear into any weak to fire. It has never been underestimated as it is known that this pokemon can pack a punch in its flamethrower. This pokemon is rarely seen even in battle competitions due to that people tend to focus more on other pokemon than this one, despite that its flamethrower packs a punch, with some believing that this pokemon has to have a specific strategy to be used properly. It is thought in the earlier days that this pokemon was pure lava inside and that it hung around volcanos to judge nearby towns for the wrongs its base form went through, that if they are deemed bad by this pokemon then the volcano will erupt. An entire town died when a small volcano that a Meganium lived at the base of erupted, and the citizens believed they could appease the Meganium to stop the eruption to fix their mistakes with the base form hunting... Only the Meganium survived. That town was offlimits until the Meganium died of old age, then finally others could enter the ruins of the town and where there is rumors of a special item for a chosen one lies in wait for the chosen one to arrive to claim. This pokemon was so feared that if one got it through evolution that person was in the past exiled as it was believed that trainer brought the wrath for the hunting of its base form. This stopped being a thing as more truthful knowledge on this pokemon became more widespread.

Delphox was almost never discovered until it evolved after protecting its trainer in a swim in a lake when an angry pokemon attacked. Even so the first one to evolve was hidden away allowed to stay at the bottom of the lake to hide it. It was only brought to light when the witch fears began to slow to a stop and be seen as silly fears. The way it uses its coral as a wand made some very curious about it. One scientist stole an egg from a breeder and raised it up to its final form to study this final form. All other studies had been turned away as it seemed like some lingering traces of the fear of witches, and angering witches, still existed in some. It is hardly ever really seen and those that own one tend to just leave bowls of food for it if they live by a body of water the pokemon made its den in. It will come out for its trainer if it likes that trainer though will remain hidden if it doesn't like a guest but knows that this guest is not a threat. It specializes in water moves and learns stronger water moves quickly after evolving. It's rarity makes it hard for trainers in the fighting scene to get ahold of one to use. Only few own one and those that own one of its previous evolutions tend to not evolve it into its final evolution. Though the previous witch fear does help in breeders protecting oaffspring from this pokemons evolutionary line, by making breeders picky about who gets one.

Empoleon was discovered when a scientists Prinplup evolved after defeating the pokemon of an assassin that tried to kill its owner for the presentation of the discovery; One meant to be kept secret though became well known now as the discovery of how to simulate sunlight as it was seen as if they were playing God doing that. It can be brash and quite aggressive. Simulated sunlight seemed to help mellow it out a bit. It likes forest settlings where it can hide and wait to gain an upper hand on a potential threat. It can stand still for hours hidden in the forest or wherever it decides to stand guard to ensure the area remains safe. People in the past thought of it as a moving plant that attacked and it made quite a few people grow a fear of forests. Believing that any plant there could be a hidden Empoleon ready to strike if one is seen as a threat. This fear faded and only older people are known to have this fear for that reason, the younger generations may only get the fear of forests if they are scared of the atmosphere of the forest instead of because of this pokemon. Though legends about plants that will snatch up children who wander off alone were created back then due to the fear many had. It still prefers to sleep in a nest though some trainers have woken up to their pokemon standing guard while they slept. It's nests are not taken from it as even its own trainers tend to fear what it might do if it found out what happened to its nest.

Design inspiration: Meganium: Ponyta and Charmander design, fire type pokemon that have fluff on them, and general fire type pokemon colors.

Delphox: Corsola, an idea of witches being able to use sticks to cast spells, and water type pokemon looks slash colors.

Empoleon: Tall blades of grass, big leaves, penguin looks, and fashion that have the collar of shirts up instead of folded down.

For all: Good shiny versions of pokemon like shiny pokemon with blue flames or even fan versions of Leafeon shiny version based on autumn colors.

Lunar region is a region that I have thought about making. I will be making more Pokémon and variants for this region.
