After the Darkest Day incident with Macro Cosmo Oleana needed to find a new job, and had all the qualifications for a management position in a different kinda shady highly influential conservation organization. Lucky for her after Faba’s demotion the Aether foundation had an opening!

I think Oleana’s awesome lol, definitely one of the stand out characters from Swsh, but the rest of Macro Cosmo was kinda underwhelming so I wanted to try putting her in a cooler evil team! I think she’d get along with Lusamine quite well, I’d love to see them girl bossing their way across the regions!

There is one interpretation that I really like of Ghetsis as someone taking psych and planning on branching out into that field if medical illustrator gets absorbed by Ai (it’s ok you can laugh)

.and that is the “product of his environment” take.

No one is really born evil, their unhealthy and manipulative tendencies are bound to develop if they are neglected/don’t receive help/don’t seek out help. Yes, many disorders can be developed over time such as C-ptsd/PTSD, Agorophobia, but most are genetically inherited such as BPD,Autism or ADHD, PMDD, and Stemming from Fragile X syndrome , or just chemical imbalances from birth.

Their are also environmental factors ie; being raised as such, bullying, and traumatic accidents.

Hell he could’ve even stemmed down the path of his whole team plasma thing , if was after his hydragon incident. If he was struck in the head area, specifically to the frontal lobe. He could’ve had a complete and utter mental 180. (Hydragons/deinos are stated as being EXTREMELY aggressive in the Pokédex entries.) taking frontal lobe damage can alter decision making or emotional response. A good case of this is Phineas Gage, a railroad worker who had a personality shift after having a pole go though the left side of his noggin (I highly recommend you do your own reading, the case is so interesting)

Ghetsis was capable of change. He was just never put in an environmen/taught to do so. He continues the cycle of abuse with N, and N was the one to stop it.

Anyways thanks for listing to my weird mental illness rant, I love psychology and medical things. And I really do have a passion for the research. And if I did say anything wrong please correct me! I’d hate to spew misinformation!

Say, Applin! (A snapshot before disaster)

I was going to practise lineless art, but the lineart came so well that I gave up and proceeded in this style. The picture is set during the Teal Mask with Kieran and Flore (MC) after they found the first signpost in Loyalty Plaza. Kieran showed Flore the orchard down the hill. Even though Flore had already explored it, they didn't mention it.

Flore asked Kieran if they could photograph him with his Applin. Kieran definitely thought Flore was weird when they requested him to do this silly pose. But he still did it - admiring Flore too much to deny them. Applin was very pleased.

(Flore kept the picture and stared at it often. Wondering where things went wrong when they went back home and what they could have done better. In the present time - after the DLC episode - Kieran is unaware they kept the photo and would die from mortification if he found out about it or ever saw it)

Also, the symbolism of Kieran holding up his hands to mimic Applin's eyes but also imitating the ogre's horns of Oni Mountain, which do not line up symbolising that he admires but does not understand Ogrepon, is entirely intentional and totally not something that happened accidentally as I was painting the background. I swear /lying/.

Also, the size being perfect for a phone background was an accident, too, but a happy one.

(Flore is Julliana and Florian combined, btw. A sort of Non-binary option of the player character)

still think it’s hard to top sada/turo as far as pokémon villains for the simple reason that they had the notion to lock the pokéballs of intruders. in a world where people never fight each other physically and agree to call it a loss when their magic animals pass out, in a world where even a kid can ‘defeat’ an adult in battle and the adult will recognize it as legitimate and give up, these guys said nah you’re not battling us. i’m about to unleash these unholy hell demons on you. not your pokémon, you. that’s actually terrifying

Imagine if in Eorka they created a device similar to a camera, that was able to take photos. The device is of course quite expensive and powered by mana.

With this in mind, Penelope takes full advantage of it and tasks Cedric with taking pictures of Callisto while he is training, which is a sight to behold.

Cedric gets paid handsomely, and carries through with it without remorse.

Penelope now has a collection of Callisto’s pictures while he is shirtless and hot. Those are some of her most prized possessions hidden away from the entire world, only meant for her and her alone.

Callisto does notice at some point that his aide is doing this, and when he finds out about the whole thing he just willingly poses for the camera, he’s absolutely shameless and smug too:

Callisto: oh, so these are for the Princess?

Cedric: yes, so it appears
