The setting for Pokémon Spirit and Soul, a fakemon region based on the country of Ireland and it’s myths, culture and geography.
Get to know the starter trio:
Fawna - the Adventurous Forest Pokémon
Fawna is often found traversing dense woodlands, always ready to lend a helping hoof to Pokémon and humans alike. Its playful nature and boundless energy make it an endearing companion to those fortunate enough to cross paths with it.
Burmoo - the Forge Apprentice Pokémon
Despite its skittish nature, Burmoo possesses an unwavering determination to help others. This Pokémon's timid demeanour often melts away in the face of challenges, revealing a courageous spirit.
Kelpup - the Seaweed Hound Pokémon
Kelpup has a tendency to get into trouble as it enjoys splashing water on any unsuspecting passersbys, but their endearing nature and loyalty make it a fantastic companion. Its seaweed ears aren’t only for show but also act as natural sensors for changes in water currents and temperature.
hey everyone! A friend and I are working on a Pokémon fangame and need ideas for the regional gimmick! Just slither into the comments of this post and leave any ideas you have if you’re wanting to share. Thanks!
Started Pokémon Sage again since my old save was lost when I got my computer and here’s some memories, namely with two Pokémon
First off, this little hellspawn and a Sidequest (I caught it but damn was I not expecting it as a fight at the time and it happens to have a Special Attack version of intimidate as it’s ability)
And this this (girl since the one I ran into was female) and I was so confused on what this albino Sentret was (and why it took so long to catch)
Turns out it’s a white blood cell mixed with a raccoon and this thing has a Gmax Gengar looking mouth

Currently Am/Have played some Pokemon Fangames, and here's a random sort of short review of them all so far
Pokemon This Gym Of Mine - As good as people say, though there is no speed up button and if your main is like mine, it's not gonna like it. Still a pretty good game, the difficulty varies on what type you choose, mainly because of Pokemon Availability. There's some regional forms that are pretty good ngl 8/10
Pokemon Godra
Pros - Amazing replay-ability, varying story paths, large variety of Pokemon, starter variety, non-traditional starters, money isn't an issue as your mother saves and gives interest with your money, interesting story, new eeveelution
Cons - Due to being still in development there are a handful of bugs in some areas, I've personally noticed lag in certain areas, grinding is a bit tedious, HMs are back
Depends on who you are - Some pokemon have received (from what I've noticed) a secondary typing (Absol is now dark/fairy for example), nerfing & buffing of certain moves (dragon rage - 1/4 of overall hp, cut - base 75 power grass move), type changes for a few other moves as well (strength is now rock type), an alignment system for your character based on your choices
Pokemon Vanguard
Pros - Mystery Dungeon vibes, Pokemon variety, starter choice variety, Pokemon up to gen 9, easy adjustable EV and IV system, ability to customize a Pokemon's nature and Hidden Power type upon capture, story oriented, side quests, some pokemon can be seen in the overworld and regularly respawn in those areas
Cons - Lag in a decent chunk of areas, loading screens between some areas take around 20 seconds or so to load
Depends on who you are - Sound Type, DOZENS of regional variants of many old pokemon (Swablu is electric/dragon), type changes for some pokemon (watchog is normal/psychic), dozens of new moves, retyping & power changes for some old moves (cut is steel type), auto-level cap, a darker pokemon game (somewhere between insurgence and mystery dungeon dark, leaning a bit more towards mystery dungeon)
9/10 so far now that I've finished the most recent Chapter (23)
I know the lag thing isn't a system thing because my device can handle Genshin Impact for pete's sake. But lag is a very big peeve
hey everyone i ditched twitter finally in celebration here are pre;COGNITION 2.0 battle ui mockups
if you do not know what a pre;COGNITION is its a pokémon ish fangame ish game that i made at the beginning of this year for a game jam and am continuing to work on becauseee idk i just wanna
i'll be redrawing the backgrounds at some point... the current ones were rushed and don't really fit in with the rest of the artstyle
Have I mentioned I really like Pokémon Fan-Games? Because they’re better than the actual games. fight me.
Playing Abstract right now and I’m having a really fun time :) My favorite fakemon on my team are the ones above. The little bunny is way too overpowered and I love it so much.
Does anyone have any tutorials they use for making custom PMD cutscenes / ROM hacks? Especially any written ones? I'm looking to get started on some projects and have no idea where to begin...
Have you ever had experience of hating one early-game NPC in particular so much, so you decided to train as much as possible just to eliminate and broke them in one hit, leaving them with endless feeling of regret?
Can't be just me, ha-ha!... Right?
